Jackson Berry is a stunning Black Cob x Sport Horse.

Bought 2 years ago for husband to learn to ride on and as a family hunter. He's been a terrific family horse but my husband never took to riding so we have decided he needs a proper job as wasted with us.

He spent his formative years in a riding school and is anyone’s ride.  Can pop a nice course of at 80cm and loves Hacking and Hunting. He has had two wonderful years of Beach riding holidays, Pony Club Camps and PC Competitions. Hunted for 2 seasons with the Kimblewick.

He's a quality horse, with a lovely nature and gives a wonderful ride. Never happier than when he's hunting or riding in a group but please be aware that he doesn't have the confidence to hack alone, unless with a very experienced rider.

We are looking for him to go to a knowledgeable home where he will be loved!

**WANTED 14.2-15.3HH ALLROUNDER**

Looking for a schoolmaster/ mother daughter share

Ref #: 250571
  • Looking to buy my horse of a lifetime

  • Ideally 8-13 years of age
  • Loving 5* home awaits

  • Looking to buy my horse of a lifetime
  • 14.2-15.3 schoolmaster/safe confidence giver type
  • Ideally 8-13 years of age
  • Loving 5* home awaits
  • Sizeable budget for the right horse

Looking to buy the horse of a lifetime for a 5ft 23 year old amateur rider who just rides because they love it.

I sadly had to retire my 26 year old section D this year so now she is living her best life relaxing with her friends all day, however it has left me with a slight sadness because I do really miss riding her. So I am now searching for the next gem to join our little, loving, knowledgeable family.

I'm looking for a schoolmaster type who has the been there and done it attitude. They have to be safe and reliable with a good temperament while being ridden and on the ground. I would be doing a lot of hacking and schooling so a horse that can hack alone/ in company safely, and enjoy schooling is important. I'm not the most confident when it comes to jumping, so I would love a safe horse that can pop a few jumps, doesn't have to be record breaking! but it's something that I would like to get my confidence up with, so having a genuine and reliable horse in that area would be perfect. I say I want a mother/daughter share type because I want a trustworthy, sensible horse that I can hack confidently but also would be happy doing fun rides, going to the beach, popping some jumps and possibly small competitions in the future. Just looking for a new best friend.

Loving 5* star home awaits, sizeable budget for the right horse.

Based in the South Wales area but location isn't important to me as I will travel for the perfect horse.

Pie arrived 22/3 - Pie has been a hunt horse most of his life in the same family we believe. He is a forward ride, with a high head carriage but honest. He is not for a novice he is an experienced riders horse. We do believe he will settle the longer he is with us , this will also be the case when he moves to his new family. We have tested him with balls and tarpaulins and he really was fab, especially on such a windy day!

He is an absolute gentleman to work with , groom, load, bath and generally be around. He loves a kiss and chin scratch at any time of day and always pops his head over the door to say hello!

Pie has limited flatwork but an honest jump. We will update as we work more with him. He has not been hacked by us yet but this will be done in the coming week. He is a very sweet horse.

Bundee arrived 13/3 and we can honestly say he has the sweetest temperament, very nice to work with in and out of the stable, his whole attitude is woah.

Bundee is backed only- he is at the walk & trot stage and starting to touch on canter. He is very lazy and needs leg however this is getting better and he is becoming more responsive. We are not rushing him so will progress at his own pace.

We haven’t hacked him out yet but will be aiming to do this this week. He is good to mount and stands very well. He loves a fuss and a chat. Good to load into our lorry. He does need work on his feet being lifted, again we are slowly working away with this.

Bundee is a project, although he has a fantastic temperament he needs someone who can ride him forward and teach him to go - please do not contact us asking if he is suitable for a novice or someone learning to ride he is not.

Bundee does carry his tail to one side but this is also getting better the more work he is in. We haven’t had this checked but he is open to vetting.

Castle VDL douglas x Colin Diamond (Clover hill)

Cassie is one of our long standing residents she has been with us since September and we all love her. She came from Ireland where she had 3 foals (2016/17/18) she also took part in fun rides and hunts.

Cassie would be suited to a hacking/ dressage family . She has amazing scope but she just doesn’t want to jump, she does prefer to jump on the left rein when she does.

She went to dressage with us in December and has been to arena hires and behaves brilliantly each time out.

Cassie is for an experienced rider who can ride light and won’t hang off her mouth.  She is a snaffle mouth but can be unsettled in her head carriage this is getting better the more consistent work she gets. She can however be left for weeks and jumped straight on not a problem behaviour wise.

Cassie is good to shoe, good with the dentist (feb 21) , good with physio (Dec 20), good to load, good to clip (we have only given the one she has), good to groom although doesn’t like front legs or under belly being brushed and moves away or lifts her feet, good in the stable - she can weave this is not regular but is seen, happy to live in a heard with rugs but does love her stable too, good to hose her legs wash her tail etc.

Good to hack alone and in company, regularly used to babysit.

  • Would be a brilliant pc/rc with a good rider

Dizzy had lots of fun today at our local indoor school and behaved perfectly (30/3/21).

Bracket 4. Rider level- intermediate and up.

Dizzy has been with us since December  and has been a pleasure. Initially when she came she was nervous but she is totally brilliant with us now in the stable and to ride. She doesn’t have the best schooling but has a good honest jump , she does love to jump! She hacks out alone and in company, is more relaxed in company but while with us most of her hacking has been alone. While out hacking with us she has met cars, trucks, buses, trailers, dogs and kids and didn’t mind any of them. Dizzy did go to a new home for a month but it didn’t work out and she was returned. Dizzy has passed a 5 stage vetting before we got her and since we got her and is open to any new vetting.

Dizzy would suit a competent teenager or a mother/daughter share - she will not be sold to a novice as we now want her to find her forever family.

Our beautiful allrounder, Scarlett is for sale. She was a showjumper before coming to us - getting to Foxhunter level.

She is a dutch warmblood mare, 16.1hh, very striking. Health is 100%, tendons, hooves etc 100%. Good to box, shoe and clip. Lives out all year long, great condition but very easy to stable.

She was trained at Paul Crago's show jumping yard where she reached Foxhunter level jumping 1.20 metres.

Paul Crago is an international show jumper with a reputation for producing quality horses from novice to international level and has competed at Hickstead and regularly competes at hoys with consistent placing there.

Goes in a snaffle bit.

Since we've had her - 6 years - she has never had any need for a vet visit here and is 100% in all aspects of her health.

She is safe to ride, does not kick, bite, rear or buck. Regularly rides out with or without other horses, through heavy road traffic and farm traffic, including pheasant pens, and all agricultural animals etc.

Due to Covid, she's been turned out - as my daughters been away with work. Selling her now as she has her hands full with work and Scarlet isn't getting enough attention.

FLATWORK + JUMPING VIDEOS on request.

  • Knowledgeable Family Home Offered

Do you have a genuine, trustworthy horse who you are needing to find a genuine, trustworthy, new home for?  I have been searching for many months, for a steady, gentle natured character.  We offer a super, kind, knowledgeable family home along with my retired golden oldie, my daughter’s pony & our 2 Shetlands.  Our horses are part of our family & receive the very best of care & I would be happy to provide references & welcome home visits.  I have many years of experience; however, I am a middle aged, middle weight mum whose days of riding ‘quirky’ horses are now in the past so please nothing too forward, sharp or unpredictable - I am not as brave as I once was!  We enjoy spending time with our horses so he/she must be gentle natured, enjoy attention & be good to handle on the ground.

I sadly had to retire my wonderful boy last year – he is now enjoying life as our much loved ‘lawnmower’ at home with us.  I have been left searching for a horse to join us for myself to ride enjoying leisurely hacks, pleasure rides, beach trips & the odd bit of schooling but nothing competitive.  I will often be hacking alongside my 8-year-old daughter on her pony so it is hugely important that I find a laid back, trustworthy type who I can depend on.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, it is usually a tractor/farm vehicle, so it is important that my new horse is trustworthy around this type of traffic.  Although I will often hack out with my daughter or friends, I will also be hacking alone at times so must be happy/safe hacking out solo.

I do appreciate that no horse is ‘perfect’ but please do be honest about any possible known ‘issues’ as I will be wishing to view & have the horse vetted.  Although I am not searching for a ‘world beater’ or intending to participate in any strenuous adventures I am looking for a healthy & sound horse to enjoy many years ahead out making memories!

We are based in Norfolk so ideally looking for something in or around East Anglia but would travel further (lockdown allowing) if plenty of info, videos & photos could be provided beforehand.  I am looking to purchase & have a sensible budget & a forever home for the right horse.

Classy 2012 thoroughbred gelding, standing at a full up 15.2hh.

Capsize isn't your average thoroughbred, he offers three balanced, established, flashy paces and oozes presences. He's a lovely model, nice compact sort with a quality stamp.

Capsize is fantastic to have in the yard, he's easy to do in all ways, keen to please and mannerly in the box.

He would be an ideal dressage prospect, he has a super uphill comfortable canter and naturally works well. Capsizes weakest point is his jumping, he needs confidence from his rider and is green in this area.

Hacking wise he is brilliant, alone or in company, open spaces, heavy traffic, machinery, you name it! He's fantastic, always a snaffle bit and rides off your voice. Overall he's a super little horse with so much to offer.

Open to any vet or trainer.

  • Sid has so much to offer!
  • A straightforward easy going chap who likes to work and wants to please

Gorgeous 2006 sport horse gelding standing at a full up 16.2hh, Sid has so much to offer, a complete gentleman on the ground, to deal with and to be around! Not a stressy sort, settles well in new environments and a real friendly chap, brilliant to do, and easy to take care of.

Sid is an athletic build, he's a forward going ride, off the leg and responsive, therefore not suitable for a novice rider. Sid has fantastic flat work, he's the perfect dressage horse, and he enjoys it! Soft snaffle mouth, easy to ride on the flat and flashy paces. Sid is comfortable, he has three established and balanced paces, his transitions are lonely. His lateral work is established, confidently doing shoulder in, leg yield, and changes. He absolutely loved to please.

Jumping wise, he's forward to a fence, isn't phased by fillers or cross country style fences, but does like to get on with the job.

Sid is a brilliant hack! He will happily go out alone or in company, super sensible and enjoys getting out, he loves to work! He isn't phased by heavy traffic or much at all really!

A straightforward easy going chap who likes to work and wants to please. Sid has some old blemishes on his hind legs (see photos). He also had a cyst removed from his sinuses last year and had the all clear from the vet that he's fit and well, a CT scan also confirmed there are no others. His price is reflected by this.

He is open to any vet or trainer.
