What a smart, level headed, easy going youngster full of potential in any sphere. Nova is a well put together , compact 15.2hh, 5yo, TB mare. Nova has been in training but never actually raced therefore she is still ROR Eligible but is an unraced mare.

Kind as kind can be in and out of the stable. A super calm nature just lapping up absolutely any attention she can get. She is sweet and easy to be around, handled by children and always the sweetheart we know her as

Nova loves hacking, not phased by traffic and Is more than happy to go both alone and in company. She has beautiful mannerisms in open spaces , she’s up for a canter but only if you are too. She enjoys jumping small logs and loves a Sunday stroll over the mountain. Hacking is certainly up there on her favourites.

Nova would be a lovely PC / RC - Mother / Daughter share prospect. She is always snaffle mouthed , leg in each corner and for the little arena work shes done, she’s very well balanced and knowledgeable of the job in hand.

She much enjoys her jumping and I’m sure she’d be successful in this sphere with further production. Talented enough to be a BS prospect. She is ridden by all ages and abilities here , we really wish she could stay.

This mare is sure to slot in to any family, a real old head on young shoulders type. Shod and ready for her new adventure. Pretty sure first to see will buy!

CAPPA DYNAMITE

16.1 (full up) 7 year ID gelding.

This is very much a sad sale of Rolie.

He really is the ultimate allrounder.

Rolie is good to hack both alone and in company, he is not spooky or silly but is a nice forward hack.  He’s good in traffic.

Good to clip, catch, box, shoe etc.

Rolie has been there and got the t-shirt.

A gentleman to hunt, would easily be hunted by a petite lady or has enough bone and presence to be hunted by a gentleman.

Hunted mostly with the Wheatland and Ludlow and recently South Shropshire.

He’s been competing in SJ, working Hunter, Hunter trials, team chasing.

Has done Riding club, lessons etc.

He’s good to handle on the ground, good stable manners. Easily to deal with on your own.  Lives in or out, with mares or geldings.

Fine to leave for weeks and jump straight on.

Rolie does unfortunately have a very small cataract in his one eye, this has been deeply investigated and he has a full vet report to say that it does not significantly affect his vision and it’s unlikely to progress due to no evidence of active cataract proliferation.

Is open to any vetting.  Based Shrewsbury.

Introducing our ‘golden boy’ , meet Douglas. A beautifully put together 15.2hh, 9yo, ish type.

Dough has clean legs and an infectious personality. He is kind and reserved and a joy to be around in all ways. Hands led by teenagers and small children and always a super empathetic little horse in and out of the stable.

Doug has massive potential on the flat, he works in a beautiful, soft and athletic outline, just oozing potential in his every step. Three balanced paces , always snaffle mouthed and responsive to aids.

Douglas very much enjoys his jumping and again shows promise and potential to be competitive in this sphere with further production. He’s shows to be honest and keen and a super quick learner. We have jumped him to 90cm and believe he certainly had the ability for more should the rider desire.

Doug is hacked out alone and in company. Regularly exploring the woodlands or going out in heavy traffic.

Polite and sensible in open spaces

Doug is a responsive horse and although I’ve had novices riding him I do feel he may be better suited to someone wanting a prospect to produce to be successful with next summer

Douglas has previously been a polo horse and spent last summer in a riding club level home. We want to find him the best home where he can be loved and enjoyed like he truly deserves. Doug does have some very small, flat sarcoid that are at present of no clinical significance. These are open to any inspection and have been reflected in his price.

Maple is a beautiful liver chestnut mare, approx 16.1, 9yo by showjumper High Hopes Condor (Caretino 1.60 x Capitol I) out of a Ramexico dam (Damiro 1.60 x Ramiro Z 1.60).

Maple is a lovely girl, she is low mileage for her age having mainly done light schooling and hacking. She is good to hack alone and in company, good in open spaces. In the school she has beautiful paces and has the most comfortable trot and canter. She is snaffle mouthed at all times and is never strong, spooky or silly, doesn’t get fresh you can leave her for a few days and she’s still the same. She is a more kick than pull to ride.

To a jump she stays in a rhythm, she’s good with fillers. She hasn’t done much jumping until arriving with us a few months ago but has come along quickly, showing she has plenty of scope, we’ve had her over single fences of 1.20 with ease. We have taken her on a ticket to shows 90-1m & has done XC jumps out schooling.

On the ground she’s good to do, loves a good groom, good to clip, shoe, load, travel & stands on the lorry quietly. Maple can be marish with other horses so she does need individual turnout because of this.

Maple would suit a variety of homes whether that be an all rounder, a fun project for showjumping or eventing, hunting horse as she never gets silly but has the scope for the big hedges, mother/daughter share, teenage dream or even a happy hacker! She is a true amateurs horse and will make someone very happy. Based in lingfield Surrey

Really good stamp of a cob, leg in each corner but quality and not table top wide so he’s comfortable to sit on. Lovely comfortable paces.

Backed and riding away really well. Hacking alone or in company, good in open spaces, enjoys popping a log in the woods and has been really good on our pretty busy road here.

Schooling is green as to be expected but coming along really well and a super fast learner. He has a rocking horse canter and would pull off a nice dressage test in time. Popping a pole in the arena and has seen a few solid fences.

An incredibly honest cob that tries really hard to please and is going to be a really enjoyable youngster to carry on producing. He’d make a super allrounder/hack/hunting/fun ride type.

Good to catch/lead/shoe/load/travel. Clean limbed, no lumps/bumps/scars/scabby cob knees. Very sweet temperament and will stand for hours to be pampered! Happily comes into the yard on his own with no other horses in. He’ll go wherever if he has food!

Please WhatsApp for videos. If you call and I don’t answer please send a text (NOT voicemail!) and I’ll get back to you asap.

Located in Farnham Surrey.

Heartbreaking sale of beautiful warmblood mare. Bred from heartbreaker lines. Has bred a beautiful foal last year. Available with Argento semen on live foal guarantee contract.

Due to lack of time to ride her and family commitments she was put into foal. She foaled easily and was a fantastic mum.

We decided to put her back into foal late this year but due to being late in the season she didn't take so is therefore available with the Argento semen which is on a live foal guarantee.

She is also a good allrounder, fantastic hacking, has done unaffiliated showjumping, lovely in the school.

I have recently started to hack her out but I just haven't had the time to do much with her.

She has a beautiful temperament and is a very loving mare.

Available as broodmare or ridden project from the field.

'Douglas V' 2008 Gelding

Doug is a yard favourite with a temperament to die for. He is by far the nicest and most chilled horse I have ever had on my yard.

He’s easy to do in all ways, no vices or quirks.

He’s had many successful runs at Novice and Intermediate but now would suit a quieter life, not due to an injury.

I’m looking for a 5* forever home for this wonderful horse.

Only selling due to my lack of time. Home more important than price.

He's 1 million percent genuine, as am I and he would not be being sold if I was not giving up horses.

Hunted last 3 seasons with me, hacks beautifully, forward stride on own or with others, mannerly while you open gates etc.

He's taking you every time to a jump, careful over them, safe reliable sane, looks quality, amazing elevated canter, unbeatable for dressage.

He needs no leg, he truly loves his work, but a dope on rope to handle.

You always return from clinics, beach riding, beach, riding holidays and hunting, proud of him and happy.

Other people worry about what their horse will do in certain situations.  I never do!  He's a stress free own. That's the real reason he's a needle in haystack to find.

I would like him to go to a dressage home if I'm picking an ideal, as this last few months he's proved exceptionally talented at it...

Whether it's beach, xc, fun rides, hacking in new places for hours, jumping pole or dressage clinics, riding holidays, turning him out with any other unknown horses he never fails to be completely trouble free.

Shoeing, clipping, in the stable and catching, he's a dream to own.

He is much loved and wanted and will only go with someone I'm convinced will love him as I have.

He is beautifully schooled and with a proper rider on could easily quality for HOYS, RI and anything else you choose to do with him, he does!

A true one in a million to find, he will come with all his belongings including his new Butet Sellier £5000 saddle, but the price as he's priceless, is the price please.  Only 5* special loving homes need apply, who can keep this unique horse in the style he's been accustomed to with me.

  • Got a Hoys ID number
  • He's quality to show
  • Dressage we've just started, he's willing and learns quickly, first show came 1st 10% above 2nd place

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.
