Bred by us ourselves, this girl was always meant to be a racehorse, but she is destined for a different path. Racing won’t be her future, which is hugely disappointing because she has all the presence, athleticism, and heart you could wish for. But for someone out there, this could be the beginning of something really exciting.

By Sholokhov, she has inherited exceptional movement, talent, and a naturally athletic frame. Standing around 16.1hh, she is a beautiful stamp of a horse with plenty of substance and a lovely kind eye. She’s already showing herself to be a super jumper with all the makings of a quality sport horse, hunter, eventer, or all-rounder. The type that will turn heads wherever she goes.

What makes her even more special is her temperament. She is safe, sweet-natured, sensible, and genuinely kind to deal with. Clean and sound with no vices, and no drama. Just a straightforward young horse with a lovely brain and a huge amount to offer someone willing to give her a new direction in life.

Rusty, also known as Blaze, wasn’t bred to be ordinary but somewhere along the line, it became clear he wasn’t meant for the racing world either.

From the start he was the soft one. While others were sharp and switched on for speed, Rusty was the foal that leaned into people, the one who stayed a second longer for a scratch, the one that would rather connect than compete. He grew up being loved, and it shows in everything he does.

Rusty has never raced, not because he couldn’t, but because he’s simply too kind for that life. There’s no edge to him, no hardness, ojust a genuinely sweet, affectionate horse who wants to be someone’s partner, not a number.

He’s a lovely, correct type with a clean bill of health, no issues, no drama. But what really sets him apart is his nature. Red isn’t just stepping out of racing he’s stepping into his next story and he’s ready to make it a good one.

There are horses who run because they’re trained to, and then there are horses like Red… the ones who give. The ones who show up, race after race, ears pricked, heart wide open, always finding a little bit more when you ask. Red has been that horse for us. A yard favourite. A winner in every sense of the word.

Now, his racing chapter has closed, not with a question mark, but with a full stop and a proud underline. And what comes next? That’s where the magic is waiting.

Red is at the very beginning of his retraining journey, like an athlete swapping stadium lights for open fields and coloured poles. He’s already showing a natural curiosity for his new job he’s popped a fence, enjoyed it, and is starting to understand that life after racing is just as exciting, just written in a different language.

He’s a forward ride, the kind that makes you feel alive the moment you pick up the reins, yet always ridden in a snaffle and never strong. Yes, he can feel fresh, think of it as enthusiasm rather than edge but there’s no malice in him. No tricks, no temper. No rearing, no bucking. Just a willing horse who enjoys having a job and thrives on direction.

Because of where he is in his retraining, Red will suit an experienced rider, someone who sees not just what he is today, but what he’s quietly becoming. A RoR prospect with real substance. A horse with a proper engine, a kind brain, and a work ethic you can’t manufacture.

Clan is a striking 8 year old bay gelding standing at 16.1hh, with the kind of natural elegance and quiet confidence that makes people stop what they’re doing just to watch him go by. He carries himself beautifully, almost as if he already knows he was made for a bigger chapter beyond racing.

Having raced as recently as last week, Clan has simply told us, in the honest way horses do, that his heart is no longer in the racing world. And there is something incredibly special about horses like him because when the racing pressure is lifted, you begin to see who they really are underneath it all.

What we discovered is a genuinely kind, sweet-natured horse with impeccable manners and a temperament that is an absolute pleasure to have around. He is safe, sensible and beautifully uncomplicated to ride. A horse that gives you confidence. He tries for his rider, listens, learns quickly and gives you that rare feeling every rider searches for… trust.

Clan has all the ingredients to excel in a new career. He is a lovely jumper with scope and balance, moves beautifully enough for dressage, and has the athleticism and attitude to event successfully. Equally, he has the presence, frame and elegance to absolutely shine in the showing world. Truthfully, this is the type of horse you can take in almost any direction and have enormous fun doing it.

He isn’t just talented, he is versatile. The sort of horse who will happily become somebody’s best friend, competition partner, confidence giver or all-round dream horse rolled into one.

For me personally, Clan is exactly the kind of horse I love placing with my riders. Honest horses are worth their weight in gold, and he has that rare combination of quality, brain and kindness that is becoming harder and harder to find.

He deserves a home where he can truly flourish and be appreciated for the incredible horse he is beyond the racetrack. And I genuinely believe whoever ends up with Clan will feel very lucky the moment they sit on him.
