Leah really is an exceptional pony who excels in her jumping, she has the speed, turns and scope, an incredible jump under her and can definitely bring you home a lot of frillys. She has been out Cross Country training and proved to be bold, great to come back, not strong at all and if you want to cover some ground and pick up the pace she will do so - she could definitely have a good go at eventing. She would also excel in the showing ring with her beautiful traditional Welsh paces. Or would equally be as good as an all rounder, happy hacker, pony to love. Lead rein pony / 2nd, 3rd ridden.
Leah has always been ridden by children and has an extremely laid back nature towards the little ones. Every ride she will always bring her rider back safe and sound, the bonus is the huge smile they will also have on their faces! she has been out to arena hires and as usual she doesn't bat an eyelid at the new area.
Leah is great on the ground with lovely manners, she has always been handled by children and is extremely respectful. Loves a good groom and pamper!
Great to clip, shoe, she’s good to load as long as you have some yummy carrots in hand
UP to date with wormer, dentist, vaccinations. No lumps or bumps.
Naturally forward going and doesn’t take a lot of leg, but is also very easy to bring back and not strong in the slightest.
Hacking: Leah hacks out well in company or solo, never strong or silly, well behaved on the roads, open fields and woodland. Great with all traffic: cars, bicycles, motorbikes, tractors, strange machinery! In a group Leah will happily take the lead, sit back behind or smoosh in the middle. She will plod along on the buckle or pick up the pace if you ask her to.
School: loves having a jump and has tonnes of scope, a lovely jump technique and will never knock a pole, currently jumping 60cm but definitely shows willingness to take on some bigger tracks. She will float around the school all day long and has stunning movements! Soft in your hand and never strong. If you have a little one that wants to have a bounce around on the lead rein she will also happily be your girl.
Leah is perfect on the lead rein rein and will do whatever is asked of her, she is easy to lead and handle, she is also happy to be led of another horse. Coming of the lead rein I do believe she will be better suited as a 2nd/3rd ridden as she does prefer and thrives with a rider who has a little more knowledge. No nastiness, she just needs a more confident jockey of the lead rein to bring out the best in her.
Leah is a very trustworthy girl and always puts a smile on your face, she really is a cracking girl and I cannot fault her.
Shod on her fronts due to a lot of on road hacking, but could go barefoot if ridden on soft more than hard surfaces.
I brought Leah to produce from being a lead rein pony and she has proven to be very easy, I have enjoyed every moment of having her around and now she’s ready to find her lovely little jockey.
Plenty of photos / videos upon request.
Unfortunately no trial facilities on site but there is a track which she can be viewed on or your welcome to hack her out, right next door I have off road hacking over the woodlands with great ground for her to be seen on.

130cm reg Welsh Sec B - Fabulous, kind all rounder with the looks.
Sad sale of a much loved pony, we wish we could stretch. 9 yo Chestnut gelding that has done a bit of everything.
Excelled as a SHP, M&M FR, WHP. Many county & BSPS wins & placings. Beautifully schooled with a super pop over a fence. Has jumped 70cm course and happily jumps 90cm at home. Pony clubbed, camp, dressage, SJ, arena evented. Qualified and competed at Stars ‘25. Performed sensibly in high pressured ring. Country rides, happily pops along, won’t tank off. Snaffle mouthed. No badness, vices or hang ups at all.
Easy in all ways. Blemish free. A super pony ready for his next little rider.
We bought Kevin when my daughter was just 6, so we know him inside and out. Very sad sale, including tack and rugs. Fylde bridle and Black Country saddle.
