Smartie - 5yrs quality Irish sports horse with fabulous jump bloodlines

He's bred to do a job, and do it well but has a very sensible outlook on life , old head on young shoulders type. He has had children as young as 5 in his back with no issues, not phased by them being unbalanced etc just plods along but then will step up for the more experienced

Very sweet on the ground , handled by children as well as adults

lovely to ride on the flat and to a fence, nicely schooled and has a competitive career up to 1m/1.05 and has popped round the 5yr olds this year the start of the season showing great promise

If you are looking for a classy, beautifully moving child's/adults competition pony, then look no further.

LJ is a 143cm (approx.) 6yr Connemara Gelding bred in the purple with excellent conformation, paces and scope and ability to do it all.

My 15yr daughter has bought him on from professionally broken at the start of 2023 to competing clears around HOYS 143cm tracks (clear at both Stoneleigh HOYS last term) and DC's in SJ. This boy has also been eventing and XC and has jumped some of the advanced fences out a Hickstead arena. He competed at Royal Windsor this year and had one small error over a tough, technical track.

He has the scope and ability to make it to HOYS as a plaited or M and M WHP, top track BSJA pony or as a classy child's PC allrounder/mum and child share. He would suit a competitive child stepping up to the 14,2 range as he rides big and takes up the leg. He is forward to a fence but not strong or silly, good to handle and has great manners on the ground.

Schooled well in all 3 paces, he would also be a super junior pony. Lilli has jumped him 130cm at home and 105 around a full WHP course. He is kind and easy to do in every way, there is nothing negative I can say about this pony, he just fits in.

He has absolutely no lumps, bumps, vices or blemishes and is sold with a full 5 stage vetting.

This is a very hard and premature sale as we hopped to run him this season, however Lilli has an opportunity for a top class 158cm and I just cant run them all, and she is out of 143cm plaited classes this year.

Genuine sale of a much loved pony so please, please NO TIMEWASTERS!

Olive is a homebred AES mare who has been well cared for since birth and allowed to mature naturally.

Her father is the exciting young stallion, Pandito Van’t Merelsnest a son of Plot Blue, who is jumping at 1.60 level successfully. Competed at Hickstead, HOYS and internationally.

Her dam was an easy ride with a super jump, as well as lovely on the flat and to handle. she then became the perfect laidback broodmare for us, producing 3 healthy youngsters which can all be seen. Her dam is by Temple Claudius (Contender), who jumped internationally x Renkum Valentino (Concorde).

This is an opportunity to purchase a young, correct and unspoilt horse to develop for the future as either a serious competition prospect or as a quality amateurs horse.

She is a friendly mare and a blank canvas to produce . She has had basic handling, been walked out in hand, is good to catch, and good with the farrier etc. She has loose jumped once, showing a super attitude and athletic jump. Olive would suit either a showjumping or all-round home.

She is only offered for sale as I need to reduce my numbers and do not have the time to do her justice.

She is fully vaccinated, regularly trimmed, wormed etc, and is currently standing at 16hh, so should mature around 16.1.

Open to any vetting/X-rays.

Currently lives out all year round unrugged, in a small herd.

Based near Cambridge.
