Sad sale of much-loved family horse Elvis- no rider, quick sale required

Elvis is a striking 16.3hh 9yo TB gelding by Fame and Glory, bought from a top racing yard. Lack of jockey forces sale.

Same home last 3 years. Raced in P2Ps by the brother, evented by the sister; he's been in an experienced family home and done a bit of everything! Very willing attitude to life and a quick learner, loves his work. Would happily spend hours hacking or being brushed.

A really personable horse who really loves being ridden! He is often ridden leading 2 other horses off him, dogs following in behind - not much bothers him. Happily ridden by 3 generations and easy to handle on the ground. Snaffle mouthed.

Elvis has done a bit of everything, eventing, clinics, PC rallies, hunter trials, arena eventing, SJ, and has hunted. He has a lot of scope and would easily be capable of jumping around much bigger tracks. He has schooled over all natural obstacles including ditches, steps & water and skinnies/brushes.

- ODEs (80cm), Hunter Trials (90cm)
- Schooled XC to 1m, hunted, clinics, Pony Club
- Moves beautifully, loads of presence, flashy, traditional stamp
- Still eligible to race if desired or ROR eligible
- Good to clip, shoe, catch, load etc. easy to have around
- Hacks alone & in company, not fussed by heavy traffic or even farm machinery

Would suit a confident rider to have fun with, as he came off the track, he would not be suitable for a novice rider. He has not lived alone before and enjoys the company of other horses when stabled or in the field.

Price is ONO and offers considered - finding the right home is important. More pictures and videos available upon request.

Great Riding Club / Pony Club horse in need of a confident and sympathetic rider.

Tilly is great to hack out alone and in company, safe in groups and in open fields or at the beach.

She has had multiple RC & NSEA champs qualifications and went double clear (UA80) in first event back this season. Looking for someone to have fun with doing some low level competitions and camps / clinics / hacking. She’s great staying away at camps and standing by the trailer - very easy to do.

An absolute pleasure to have on the yard - very kind on the ground - can be led in from the field by a 4 year old.

Great to load and shoe but does need sedation for tickley bits when clipping (fine around face and neck).

Prefers to travel in a lorry or a trailer without the partition.

Very sad sale after owning her for 5 years but rider is off to university, would love to stay in touch.

She had her hocks injected in February - very happy to discuss fully.

Tack negotiable.

Based near the Devon / Cornwall border.

Holly is every teenagers dream young horse to produce and continue her education. She has the most fantastic trainable temperament, wants to please and loves her work.

She came over from Ireland a couple of months ago where she was broken in and lightly produced by her breeders. She went XC schooling, SJ arena hire and hunted. Since being here will have slowly continued her education on the flat and jumping.

Holly is now more than ready to start her competitive career. There is no doubt she will be a stunning Highend Allrounder for someone.

The perfect home for Holly would be an RC/BE amateur type home, who continues her education to make someone a lovely Allrounder.

At home Holly is a pleasure to do, she’s out in a small herd of mares but equally happy on her own. She hacks alone and in company. Vices free and is the sort that doesn’t need to be worked every day.

Excellent trail facilities in Worcester.

Probably one of the most sought after types in today’s market, and one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of owning in our stables! Be quick to the mark with this guy as he will not be around for long!

A beautiful ‘traditional’ stamp of a sport horse, just oozes quality with three correct balanced paces with a great education on his flat work incredibly enjoyable ‘arm chair’ ride with a consistent level rhythm and always in a plain snaffle bridle. Never strong or silly, level headed attitude way beyond his years! He can be left and picked up again and your guaranteed an enjoyable ride with a smile on your face.

With show miles up to 1m10 level in Ireland he has had a nice experience in the amateur level showjumping, not silly or spooky and wants to help his riders out. He doesn’t hold grudges with bad strides and just wants to get the other side, doesn’t get sharp or hot too jump and is happy to canter round on a loose rein.

Very economical is his jump not one to out jump his riders, just doing what he needs to do in a pleasant kind way! Cross country he was an absolute star, covering the ground with a confident but manageable stride and gave his riders a lot of self belief to tackle bigger (BE 100/Novice) level fences, sunken road drop/steps/skinny roll top combinations were a total breeze!

We cannot say enough nice things about this total gentleman! He will happily work nicely with less experienced/confident riders making him the ultimate all rounder to enjoy throughout the year. A 5* home is an absolute must!

Albert has the sweetest and most loving temperament. He is 100% sound with no lumps bumps or vices.

He was bitted in Spring and was very accepting. He moves beautifully and is absolutely no trouble at all to handle or manage.

Lives in or out and will happily graze in his own paddock as long as there are other horses nearby.

He is only for sale as I am reducing my numbers and I have another foal due to wean soon.

He is up to date with his vaccinations and a recent worm count showed he did not need worming.

Finn is the ultimate leisure/pleasure all-rounder with a golden temperament. He is as safe as they come and gives everyone confidence that gets the pleasure of riding him. He is offered for sale on behalf of his owner whos circumstances have suddenly changed unfortunately. He is a 15.1h 5 year old (going on 10!) dapple grey fully registered Connemara gelding.

Very well bred with 5 generations pedigree, Nn hoof wall. He is a real stunning quality stamp with such amazing dapples that really draw you to him, he catches the eye where ever he goes. He is gorgeous inside and outside to match and will make someone a horse of a life time for sure.

He has excellent conformation, clean limbs, is blemish free with straight movement. A real show quality stamp who is very correct. He is such a desirable type as he is a great size for everyone to ride from children to teenagers and adults; he would be perfect for a mother/daughter share or family horse for everyone to enjoy. He really excels as a pleasure horse to take on sponsored rides, happy hacks, horse holidays, beach rides, and to do all riding club on. And best of all he is super safe and very genuine and honest with a quiet gentle temperament.

Finn is super to hack both alone and in company. He is great with traffic and hacks straight out onto a busy through road where traffic goes flying past him. He is super with arctic Lorries passing him too. He is very confident in his own skin so doesn't need his rider to hold her hand. He is very calm and sensible in open spaces, he will canter in any order within a group without getting strong or competitive; he doesn't mind being over taken. You can drop you reins on him in canter and he wont run away, in fact quite the opposite. He is a lovely medium/steady speed out hacking.

He has been on lots of pleasure rides which he really does excel at, he gives other horses confidence as he is such a calm influence. He is so much fun on pleasure rides and always makes you smile and have a good ride. He has been on beach rides where he is always fantastically behaved, he went to Brancaster this summer and even swam in the sea and cantered up the beach no handed, this just about sums Finn up! He would be the ideal type to take on horse holidays and enjoy hours of exploring together as he is super comfy too and relaxed in new places.

He has also hunted in Ireland with a 13 year old boy where he proved safe and steady so would also suit a hunting home.

Finn has good basic schooling established with lovely natural paces. His paces are very smooth and flowing. He is a steady ride in the school and does need leg from his rider to keep him going. So he would suit a rider who prefers to kick on rather than pull back. This makes his rider feel very safe and also means that Finn is suitable for nervous/ novice riders as well as more competent riders. He is a real safe steady confidence giver to ride and not the spooky or sharp type. He is snaffle mouthed for everything with a lovely light mouth. He is very forgiving and doesn't mind if his rider loses balance or misses a beat, he will just slow down and let you catch your balance.

He is a basic walk, trot and canter in the school; he has never had any dressage schooling put into him as his previous owner wasn't interested in that. However he could easily school up into the contact with a little work and do some dressage as his paces are good and he is a well-balanced horse. He has also been ridden bare back and was foot perfect and very comfortable. He would suit a wide range of riders from competent novices through to more experienced riders that just want a straight forward easy going ride that they can pick up and put down as he doesn't require daily riding to keep sane.

Finn loves his jumping and makes a brilliant shape. He is very careful both in front and behind. He nicely takes you into a fence in a good rhythm without rushing. He doesn't get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is a very much point and aim type who helps his rider out and juts loves to jump. He has attended training shows and unaffiliated comps at 80/90cm as well as riding club and arena hires.

He has also been xc schooling several times where he was simply amazing. Hes very confident and bold even over ditches and water. He is a real xc machine, point and aim type who is very genuine with lots of talent. He is a very straight forward ride and takes his rider into the fences nice and confidently but remains steady and very safe and sensible. He would excel at hunter trails and low level one day events. As well as being suitable for all pony club and riding club activities.

Finn has a superb quiet temperament; you really wouldn't find a quieter easier horse. He really is such a nice sweet person who wants to be everyone's friend. He is easy to handle and is very polite with manners to burn. He loves to be groomed and pampered. He is such a kind loving boy who is very gentle and calm. He is very good to catch, bath, shoe, load, catch ect. He will live alone or in company and in or out, he just goes with the flow. He is so much more than just a horse, he will be your best friend and part of the family.

He would make the perfect leisure/pleasure horse for hours of hacking and fun rides with some bits of riding club thrown in for fun. It is really important to his owner that Finn finds a 10* home where he will be loved and enjoyed.

Passed a 5 stage vetting in May that can come with him. Videos available on request.

This stunning homebred mare is a real lovely natured horse like her mum. She is a stunning mare and will be a strong contender for Dressage. She is a tall leggy mare with a stunning head and neck. Her breeding on the mare sire comes from a line of 8 Elite mares in a row, and her sire Kjento needs no introduction.

We are looking for a lovely knowledge home for this super yearling. She is vac, good with farrier and has been done every 6 weeks from birth. She will stable happily and loves being groomed and is very easy to lead and handle. Her older brother has gone into a dressage home to be produced and has the same temperament.

She has great confirmation and feet, very straight in her movement and scored very well in her foal grading gaining overall score of 8.5 and Gold Premium

Mo loves hacking and is quiet to hack out on her own or in groups in the heaviest of traffic. Mo has done lots of PC Rallies and arena hires and a few PC camps.

Happy jumping up to around 70cm and fast against the clock and has plenty of scope and is enthusiastic.

Mo is good to load into trailer/lorry, but prefers company.

  • Very quick learner with huge scope for potential
  • Low maintenance with a laid-back attitude

For sale; Blackie, a wonderful sturdy little hacking / project pony

Fantastic temperament and full of character; great with small children, dogs and other horses

Exceptional ground manners

Can live out 24/7, but equally happy and hugely polite in a stable - even when his other stable mate goes off out without him

Easy to catch, good for the farrier, good for the vet, good for the dentist, easy to worm and has been fully clipped without issue, although he is a bit impatient when his legs are clipped

Will load perfectly onto either a small narrow trailer or large horsebox

Particularly enjoys a groom and a fuss and stands beautifully when tied up - fell asleep having his mane pulled recently

Barefoot; trims required every 7 weeks or so

Currently living with a mare, has also lived with a gelding and in a mixed herd without issue

Passed a stage 2 vetting when I bought him in 2022 and I've had no issues with him health wise/soundness since. No laminitis but we do manage his grazing

Up to date with vaccinations; next due mid December 2025, teeth rasped May 2025 and feet trimmed 13th August

Has so far been unphased in all sorts of traffic - he is used to large farm vehicles and construction workers' vehicles

Low maintenance; lives pretty much on fresh air

LOVES, his hacking (alone or in company) and is very happy to squeeze through small gaps, cross little bridges, up and down banks, pops over logs, will splash through water and will go for hours without being silly once you turn for home. With this in mind, he may end up being a great little hunting pony.

Blackie is an honest, fun, genuine pony with a big heart and a lot of character. He will make a small lightweight adult or competent child jockey very happy. He has proven to be safe and reliable when used as a lead rein pony but would benefit from a confident rider off the lead rein due to his young (ish) age and that he is still learning in the school. He has attended various clinics and some pony club events where he has behaved brilliantly at the smaller, quieter events but has found the music, noise and other horses racing by harder to deal with at larger events so this will need to be worked on. He has decided he quite likes jumping and has also competed (with a small adult rider) at a couple of local unaffiliated SJ competitions, with the last outing resulting with a 2nd place.

I will only sell to a 5* home for him where he has company, endless hacks to enjoy and for somebody experienced to get the best out of him; he is a quick learner and whilst I already think he is absolutely brilliant, there is much more potential to unlock for somebody who has time and love to give him.

He will come with all his tack, which includes a saddle bought brand new for him (Wintec) and some rugs, although unless the weather is absolutely brutal, he can manage without.

All videos have been taken in the last 6 weeks.

An impressive model of a warmblood gelding with a striking presence and an athletic frame. This super young horse has a kind, soft temperament and is easy to do in all ways.

Unspoilt and trusting, he has been handled professionally and carefully nurtured since birth. Imported early 2025, he has been quietly educated by us and is now ready for his new home and promising career.

Absolutely lovely to hack alone, or with company, playing dressage along the lanes. He has great feel and balance and on the slightest squeeze offers a polite lift. Sensible and calm in traffic, including large farm machinery, open moorland, taking new experiences in his stride.

A good number of local outings to larger venues, not phased by 1.5 hour travelling without sweating up, and settles quickly into new environments.

He has been allowed to take his time. He has not been rushed or frightened and his confidence is intact, enabling him to learn quickly and follow good instruction

Currently lives in a mixed herd and happily waits on his own for his turn when others are brought in. Vice free, good farrier, load, lunge, lead, travel.

Would suit someone with experience of furthering the education of youngsters at the 6 month stage. Serious enquiries only, excellent facilities, based West Devon near Tavistock.

KING - 13 hands 14 year old Welsh Section C bay gelding

King has been my daughter’s best friend for the last three years. He was her first pony and he has taught her so much. They have done dressage, showjumping, arena eventing, mounted games, beach rides and farm rides.

King is amazing to hack! He will go alone or in company in any type of traffic.

He will stand for hours to be groomed and fussed over, he is good to catch, and he loads and travels really well. He is also up to date with all farriery, dentistry, worming and vaccinations, and also has regular massages.

This is a heartbreaking sale but my daughter has lost interest. King has made her in to a great little rider and she’d be ready to step up anyway.

King is not a competition pony. He has a medical history which I will be very open about. So he needs a quieter life of hacking and fun rides. He can do the odd small clear round.
He is completely fine now and my daughter has had lots of fun with him this summer.

A knowledgeable 5* home is essential for our gorgeous boy.

Countless photos and videos on request.

Looking for new home for Lilly.

Lilly is a safe but forward ride, good in traffic. Good to clip shoe.

Lilly is not for a novice and we want her to go to the very best of homes.

She has sustained an (wound not tendon or bone) injury which has now healed and she is currently turned away and 100% sound and signed off by the vets.

We will be looking to bring her back into work in the coming weeks if she is still in our care.
She will be no hassle to get back on when the time comes, and my daughter would happily come and do that for you should take her before we reach that stage if that would be of help.

Happy to fully discuss her injury at length we have nothing to hide and she has made a fantastic recovery with no issues anticipated.

Lilly has previously jumped BS to 110 but she does get very fizzy at shows and personally I would like her to go to a less competitive home but with an experience rider this would be something for you to decide in the future, she has endless scope, many videos available on request.
She has XC trained and competed at low levels proving to be bold and quick thinking on her feet.

She is a wonderful looking mare and a real sweetheart at home, she would suit a confident knowledgeable home where she will have an active life. Equally in years to come she may give you a beautiful foal ..

Please no time wasters. Home more important than price, but she will not be free! Please call for more information, she is sold from the field.

Shes not spooky or silly and takes everything in her stride, nothing bothers her she’s even ok with riding over railway bridges while trains go underneath her…she has an old head on young shoulders.

She’s perfect for a nervous or novice child wanting to hack out and have the freedom cantering across fields or a more established child to bring on further.

She travels beautifully in a lorry or trailer and is calm and well behaved when out and about. She’s been to group lessons, working hunter shows, xc schooling, dressage, flat shows and stay away dressage camp where she was perfectly behaved.

Mabel has beautiful paces and is progressing well with her schooling. She’s more woah than go and will happily trot round cross country or show jumping but will step up to canter when asked.
Mabel has given my daughter so much confidence and fun we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect pony!
She’s such an easy pony to have around you can pick her up and put her down, she’s the same if ridden every day or left for a week or two.

- Mabel will stand all day to be groomed and loves cuddles.

- Mabel has been used on the lead rein to teach my son his rising trot and she was brilliant with a wobbly, excitable child doing around the world!

Home is most important as Mabel is very special to us and we would love to stay in touch.

GIDDY UP “Jambles” - This is a wonderful example of an Off The Track (OTT) Thoroughbred. Very good looking Chestnut.

A very kind and gentle natured boy, who we would be happy to put anyone on for a ride.

Jambles is a relative blank canvas, we are marketing him on behalf of his racing trainer after trying him with eventing - He last raced National Hunt in Nov 2024 - retiring fit and sound (just not fast enough).

Jambles will not comfortably go into water obstacles while cross country schooling, which is what we were planning on training him for.

When free jumping Jambles, he has a heck of a ping off the floor and he is hoping fences nicely during schooling sessions as we start to build him up. He would make a fantastic Showjumper for those on a budget.

He has three smart paces in the arena and would do well in the white boards ROR.

He is not strong or silly, but equally he will move off the leg easily and willingly.

He has been gem to do - load, groom, shoe etc.

Sirius is a stunning, straight moving and well put together foal with a big future ahead of him. He is very striking and is shedding out his foal coat to be dark bay, almost black.

His dam, Chelsea Mill (Mill Law X Jumbo) was a very successful 3* event horse in her own right and retired to stud sound. She has an impressive damline, being maternally related to many of the top horses produced by the Grafham Stud.

Sirius’ sire Villis Havoc (No Limit X Burggraaf) is himself by the great No Limit, who won the performance test in 1998 and went on to jump from 1999 - 2006 up to 1.50m and International Level.

Priced to reflect the current market, this is a reluctant sale of a quality, well handled and much loved foal, so no time wasters please.

He is microchipped, passported and will be weaned and ready to collect by the start of Nov.
