• Very Sad Sale of a much Loved Pony

Our much-loved Strinesdale Genius, or we called him Sir Strabilante Cavallino (mind blowing pony), is looking for his next little person. Strabilante is a true 138cm show pony with a long and proven record at a very high level, but far more importantly to us, he has been an absolute dream to own and has looked after our daughter, Harriet, beautifully.

Strabilante is the sort of pony who is increasingly difficult to find: beautiful, established, experienced, exceptionally well mannered and genuinely kind. He knows his job inside out and has given Harriet some of the most wonderful experiences of her childhood.

Strabilante has competed successfully throughout the UK and Ireland with several riders. His career includes Royal Windsor, HOYS, RIHS, Balmoral, Dublin Horse Show and the Northern Ireland Festival, alongside countless championships and wins at county and affiliated level.

As a younger pony he was 2nd at Royal Windsor in the 138cm Novice Show Pony, subsequently competed at HOYS and was placed at RIHS. More recently he has enjoyed the following success with Harriet:

Strabilante is an absolute beauty and a real gentleman to do in every way. He is unphased by our busy home, full of noise, children, other horses and dogs. He is easy to load and a pleasure to take to a show. He does not need endless working in (in fact, he hates this!) and would be a pony that needs leg, rather than being sharp.

At 13, Strabilante has nothing left to prove. He is an established schoolmaster who still has so much to give, and I would dearly love to see him go and do for another child what he has done for Harriet. We absolutely adore this pony and I will be heartbroken to watch him leave, so finding the right home matters enormously.

Stretcholt Anniversary Girl is quite simply the sweetest and easiest pony, with the most wonderful temperament.

Produced entirely from home by my now 13-year-old daughter, she has qualified for HOYS twice and previously been placed at RI. In the handful of HOYS qualifiers we have done this season, she has been placed every time and qualified for RI PP mixed height on her first try this season.

She is just as lovely outside the show ring, enjoying hacking, jumping and dressage, and is an absolute pleasure to have around.
