Lovely Reggie 12hh, 13-year-old Show Pony Looking for a New Job & Best Friend
Reggie is available on behalf of a private family as he no longer enjoys the show ring, and the child now wishes to focus on showing. We feel it is only fair to let him move on to a job he will truly enjoy.
About Reggie
• 12hh, 13-year-old show pony
• Previously competed at HOYS as a lead rein
• With us he has been a first ridden, attending county shows
• At home he is an absolute star – safe, sensible and fab all round fun pony
What He’s Like Day-to-Day
• Brilliant kids’ pony at home
• Pops a fence happily
• Loves hacking and is 100% in traffic
• Enjoys fun rides like Somerford
• Kind, gentle and easy in the stable – children can do everything with him
• Good to catch, shoe, clip, load etc.
• Fully up to date with back, teeth, feet and vaccinations
Why He’s Looking for a New Home
• Reggie has made it clear that he is over the show ring. He has recently started showing signs of stress and anxiety in the ring, and we won’t push him to continue in a job he no longer enjoys.
• He would thrive in a non-showing home where he can enjoy:
• Pony Club
• Hacking
• Fun rides
• Low-level SJ
• General all-round fun with a competent little jockey
The Home We Want for Him
• Reggie deserves a kind, long-term, 10? home where he can be loved and enjoyed. He is not a total novice ride, so he does require a competent child who can give him confidence and enjoy him for the superstar he is outside the show ring.
