An incredibly difficult advert to write for a pony who means so much to us, we are moving onto horses therefore would consider something 15.2 ish.
We have owned this exceptional mare for the past two years, during which time she has been lovingly produced by both my daughter, from just 10 years old, and myself. She really is the definition of a one-in-a-million family pony — talented, genuine, beautifully mannered and incredibly versatile.
🐎 HUNTING
This is where she is truly exceptional.
She has hunted regularly in large fields, always looking after her jockey and safely bringing my now 12-year-old daughter home.
She will stand beautifully at the meet, and is mannerly in the field. She will happily jump hedges, rails and timber and has given my daughter some incredible days.
For a family looking for a genuine child’s hunter that Mum can also get on and enjoy, she would be incredibly hard to replace.
🌳 HACKING
She is an absolute pleasure to hack and will happily go alone or in company.
My 12-year-old daughter regularly heads off around our 80 acres of off-road hacking, which speaks volumes about the trust we have in this pony.
She is equally happy hacking with others and is not dependent on company. Whether it’s a quiet wander or a good canter across the countryside, she is a pony you can genuinely go out and enjoy.
🏆 SHOWJUMPING
She is talented, careful and seriously scopey, with plenty of ability for someone wanting to develop this side of her further.
She lacks competition mileage because my daughter doesn’t enjoy competing — not because of any lack of talent from the pony. In the right hands, there is a lot more to come from her.
✨ SHOWING / FLATWORK
Beautifully schooled on the flat with three correct, balanced paces and a lovely way of going.
She is CHAPS registered and has successfully been shown this season in Non-Native Coloured classes, including HOYS qualifiers.
She has the quality, presence and education to continue in the show ring or would equally make a beautiful all-round competition pony.
❤️ MANNERS & TEMPERAMENT
Quite simply, outstanding.
She is easy and uncomplicated to have around and has been an absolute pleasure to own.
• Loads and travels happily in trailers, 3.5t boxes and large horseboxes
• Is good to clip, shoe and handle
• Stables beautifully with no vices
• Will stand happily on the box at events with or without another horse beside her
• Is handled and ridden by a child and has impeccable day-to-day manners
She is the sort of pony you can take out and enjoy without drama.
In February 2026 she underwent ovary removal surgery. Both ovaries were removed, therefore she cannot be used for breeding.
She can be available with her wardrobe, including her professionally fitted Bates saddle, Fairfax bridle and quality rugs.
This is a very special pony who has been a huge part of our family. She has safely carried my daughter through some wonderful experiences and will only leave for the very best of homes. We are moving to horses hence reluctant sale.
She could suit a child wanting to unlock the potential she undoubtedly has, a hunting family wanting a safe and talented pony, or someone looking for a genuinely beautiful, versatile pony to do a bit of everything.
Bear in mind she’s 6 years old and still needs piloting on the correct path.
She is not a pony we need to sell, and finding the right home is far more important than finding a quick one.
