Class 1 breeding throughout,
By the fabulous Carrickrock Close Shave

This lovely lad was purchased earlier in the year directly from a very well known source in Ireland as he is very closely related to our HW hunter who won HOYS in 2022.

He was carefully handled and completed the groundwork quietly over the summer, before being turned away

He has been stabled, and turned out, alone and in with company

He was sent away to be backed 5 weeks ago, and is now walk, trot and cantering sweetly under saddle,
but is obviously still very green

He is looking for a home where his education will be continued

He really is a fantastic blank canvas for someone to take down whichever route they would like

I believe he has the makings of a top class show animal, but I'm sure would also excel as a hunt/all round horse

Clean limbed, no vices, good to load and travel (has been in an 18t and 3.5t), good with farrier

Currently in Leicester where he is being broken- can be viewed there, and I'm sure could continue his education there if the buyer would want

Out of HOYS placed Highland mare, Dunedin Fenella, by a traditional cob

Honey is a total pleasure to have and ride

Broken last winter as a 4yo and then turned away due to my commitments. She was brought back into work and hacked about through the summer

She has attended 3 shows, two smaller local shows, and then thrown in the deep end at Bucks County show where she behaved impeccably for her age/experience to finish 2nd in a very strong class collecting her RIHS 2024 ticket (she is sold with the ride)

I truly believe Honey has what it takes to go all the way in the show ring, she is top quality with a fabulous temperament

Incredibly bold mare, will hack alone and in company and is absolutely fine in traffic

She schools sweetly, very genuine and loves her work

She is a beautiful mover with fabulous paces- keeps up walking out with our heavyweight hunters!

Has recently started jumping under saddle, proving bold and keen.

Also been ridden by an 11yo girl, and her mother has hacked her out! True Mother/Daughter share

I am sure I will regret this for a long time to come but with youngsters coming up through I need to be sensible
