Always good to catch and very much an in your pocket type and absolutely loves a fuss.
He has lived out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings and also by himself. He has also been stabled overnight during winter and is equally happy to come in.

Good to load and travel, for the vets and dentist
He's been clipped twice and took to it really well.
He is usually very good for the farrier but is still working on picking his back feet up.

He's still very green in the school, but has 3 lovely large and expressive paces and is starting to learn to accept the contact and make a beautiful shape.
I've free jumped him and he has a lovely shape over a fence with very careful back feet.

Stunning yearling filly (01/05/25) by Black Dancer (Irish Draught) out of a sport horse mare (unrecorded breeding; photos of both parents available on request).

Hazel is currently standing at 14.3hh and is expected to mature around 16.2hh. She is a beautifully put together filly with a fantastic trainable temperament and a real “old head on young shoulders” attitude. She is a pleasure to handle in every way.

She is beautifully marked and moves exceptionally well, with a light, floaty action and plenty of presence, a real head turner.

Hazel has all the attributes to excel in a variety of disciplines, be it eventing, hunting, showing, or as a quality all rounder. She also has the temperament to make a genuine family horse for someone to enjoy producing from scratch.

She is clean limbed with no vices, sarcoids, lumps, or bumps. A quality blank canvas with a fantastic attitude to match.

Hazel is good to catch, lead, load, and travel. She stands to be groomed, bathed, and fussed over, is good for the farrier, and stands patiently tied up on the yard.

Lockie is a quality young gelding with outstanding presence and truly exceptional paces. He is a fabulous prospect with a bright future ahead of him in a variety of disciplines.

Carefully produced and backed by myself last year, Lockie has been slowly and thoughtfully brought on, and is now riding away nicely and ready to begin his career. He would excel as a show horse (with striking, symmetrical markings—his full brothers have both placed at HOYS in the past three years), or equally in dressage, eventing, show jumping, or endurance. He has outstanding rhythm, three expressive paces, and a particularly eye-catching, floating canter.

Lockie is light, balanced, and athletic, with a lovely way of going. He is barefoot and up to date with vaccinations (flu/tetanus). He hacks out confidently both alone and in company, and is happy to lead or follow.

He is not suitable for a novice rider - Lockie is a sensitive, intelligent horse who thrives with a competent, consistent rider and a calm, quiet environment. He would be best suited to a small, knowledgeable yard with a good routine and daily turnout. Once he builds a partnership, he is an absolute dream to ride.

Lockie is a very sweet natured horse, but he is sensitive to his environment and the energy of those around him, he will form a strong bond with the right person. He is currently settled with a farrier and vet he is comfortable with.

This is a truly heartbreaking sale. I have owned Lockie since he was a yearling and never imagined I would part with him. However, due to a change in my personal circumstances and increased family commitments, I can no longer give him the consistent time and work he needs and deserves. As I approach my 60s, I feel he would be far better suited to someone younger, who can dedicate the time and energy to bring out his full potential.

A very special home is essential for this much-loved horse.
