Summer is a really lovely mare, who needs a well balanced, confident rider and is not suitable for a novice.

Loves to hack in company or alone, although can be a bit spooky on her own. A bright cookie, Summer definitely takes confidence from her rider.

Schools sweetly and has done a little jumping with us, which she enjoys. Recently had a lovely Prelim test result at dressage.

We need to find a loving home as we over-horsed our daughter. She would be very capable in the right home.

5 star home is a must.

Annie - 15.3, 2012, Welsh x sports horse. Annie is a super mare who has so much potential and will really excel in the right hands!

Annie has been on schooling livery with me for 6 weeks and unfortunately her owner has very sadly decided to sell her.

Annie has competed in hunter trials where she was keen and confident. She’s showjumped up to 90 unaffiliated, again very confident and isn’t phased by anything. Hacks alone and in company, she’s not phased by any farm traffic (she loves a good gallop too)

She has attended pole clinics and done some fun rides!

However.. she does come with a couple of quirks!!

Somewhere along the lines I believe Annie has been slightly mistreated..

When Annie first came to me I struggled to catch her for the first few days.. however after she had time to settle, she now comes to me straight away.

The first time I rode her she took off before I had managed to sit in the saddle, there was absolutely no malice in this and she actually scared herself! It just took her by surprise and made her panic.

She has since been ridden by myself and other people and hasn’t done this.

I genuinely can’t say a single bad word about this pony! She has so much potential and will be a cracking horse in the right hands.

Ideally I’m looking for a confident and competent teenager who can take Annie out and about (BS, BE, PC, RC, etc.) and most importantly to love her!

(Considering she came to me for short term I have really become attached to her and will be sad to see her go!)

Annie has been checked over by a vet and no issues have been found.

Annie needs a very understanding home whether that be for a couple of years or forever! The longer Annie has someone to trust the better for her!! She needs a very calm person to love.

When she has your trust she will do everything in her power to please and make you happy.

I also believe Annie would make an exceptional team chase/hunt horse.

She is open to all vet checks.

Annie is up to date with everything.

Ready to go to a new home where she can continue her education. Very genuine horse & sale.

Mocha is a lovely stamp of a horse. Could easy carry weight. She has been living in a mixed herd and could live in or out, a good doer type. Amazing piebald markings with full black tail & mane and 4 white stockings & black face, will really stand out in the show ring.

He could be a show cob he’s got beautiful movement and plenty of bone and substance.

Hacks alone or in company, has 3 lovely paces. More suited to a leg on sort of rider as quite laid back!

Popped a small course but we haven’t focused on that. Just been out and about doing fun stuff. Hacking, fun rides, beach rides etc.

Had a variety of riders ride him. Stands at a mounting block. Always ridden in a snaffle. Absolute gentleman to handle.

On sales livery on behalf of the RDA as he has become wary of the hoist.

Will be someone’s absolute dream boy.

Successfully shown in hand over the last 2 years, he's forward and bold with a super walk on him, he's been out and seen a bit of the world.

Loads, ties, wolf teeth out, good with farrier, easy to clip and up to date with vaccinations etc...

Mild mallanders and sallanders like most cobs but easily maintained via creams, it has not affected him at all in the ring.

Good home is most important.

Rupert is an outstanding example of an over height Connemara. He is a 15.2HH 9yo Buckskin gelding. He is by Kippure Mo Cuisle out of Scarthy Lassie.

Rupert has the most wonderful temperament and is a lovely horse to have on the yard. He’s got beautiful manners.

He works very nicely in the arena with uphill correct paces. Hes super careful over showjumps, clever as a cat, and happily jumps all types of fillers. Hes been competing showjumping comps and happily jumps a course of 90cm. Rupert has cross country schooled proving brave and honest. He’s has with previous owners done lots of cross country, fun rides, dressage etc.

He’s a great hack, more than happy to go alone or in company, has seen plenty of traffic and good in open spaces. Rupert would suit a competition home, where he will be used to his full potential. Hes a seriously lovely horse with so much ability. He will no doubt make a great eventer, and be a serious grassroots contender, he’s careful enough showjumping to go BS and equally moves well enough to go a do some BD.

He really does have it all, the looks, temperament and talent! He would suit a competent mother and daughter share also. Rupert is good to shoe, box, catch, load and travel etc. He has no stable vices.

He is on sales livery. Based near Badminton

Classic 2015 Irish gelding standing at 15.2hh, Joey is fun, experienced and very much an easy, safe Allrounder.

He’s hunted, done hunter trials, showjumping and most riding club activities, he’s seen plenty and is easy to do.

He has three straight moving paces on the flat, rides off the voice or the leg and is more woah then go! However if you ask him he will go up the gears.

Joey is extremely bold jumping and doesn’t look at anything, he remains in a lovely rhythm however will jump whatever he’s put at effortlessly and very much gives his rider confidence, he’s no different over coloured fences or rustic and is keen to get it right.

He will hack on the buckle all day long, isn’t bothered by traffic, machinery or busy situations and is quite content going out alone as well as in company.

Joey is an easy, straightforward and uncomplicated chap, an ideal Allrounder / mother daughter share/ granny’s hack or ladies hunter.

Eye Catching Buckskin Sec D All-Rounder

Ref #: 348428

£8,500 OVNO
  • Welsh Section D

  • 6 years
  • 15 hands
  • Genuine All-rounder
  • Mother-Daughter Share
  • By Abbeyvale Romeo, the outstanding showjumping pony stallion

Absolutely stunning, Buckskin, 6yo, sec D mare. Due to no fault of her own she's very low mileage. She has been successfully shown in hand from being a foal at foot until she was professionally started as a 4yo. Whilst under saddle she attended fun rides, was shown under saddle and had a general all round education then was turned away to mature.

This is when i purchased her. After coming back into work as a 5yo she was only in work for three months before i became severely unwell and was in hospital for several months and away from the yard for six months minimum. After an initial break in work, she was kept going with groundwork a few times a week.

Since March of this year she has been in schooling on a professional showjumping yard. She has an excellent attitude to her work and is proving to be full of potential. Her flatwork is well established, with three expressive, well balanced paces and basic laterals.

She started jumping recently and is confidently jumping around a course of 70-80cm with planks, fillers, oxers and combinations. She has been out schooling, where she behaved well and jumped everything asked of her first time. Hacks alone or in company , front or back. Will live in or out with mares or geldings. Stands for farrier (has been hot shod , currently barefoot as has fantastic feet), good with vet, easy clipping etc. Loads into trailer or box and travels well. No vices. Great with livestock, dogs, children and all traffic including tractors and farm machinery. Would stand all day to be groomed. Very sweet natured mare who wants to please. She's always been kept upto date with vaccine, dentist, worming, chiropractor etc.

This is an extremely sad sale due to owners poor health. She's currently fit and ready to go out and do a job now. Ready for someone to put their stamp on her.
She'd excel in any sphere, including a fantastic mother/daughter share. Would make a very smart native/plaited WH type. She has beautiful paces and could also excel at pure dressage. She is showing natural talent over a fence and has a good brain for it.

Please Look up Instagram; Buck_skin_my_life for lots of other videos and/or Facebook account 'Nikki B CW' under the reels section and on main page. She has an extensive, quality wardrobe available via separate negotiation (Horseware, Bucas, Velociti, Albion) However, she does have a fitted Albion Legend saddle available for a very fair price.

Based 10min from the international airport in Northern Ireland.

Please Contact Rachelle Harding from 'RJC Sporthorses - Carmavy Equestrian' as they are managing the sale for me. Open to all vetting and inspection.

Barefoot

Passported and microchipped

He is a true legend at each corner! He is great fun and very much enjoys having a job. He is very low mileage and green for his age as he was a pet and companion before coming to me.

He has been professionally broken and ridden away by myself and is almost ready to find his forever home.

He has been started slowly and correctly and is a very honest and genuine horse to work with, he is great fun and I think he would very much enjoy getting out and about once he is fitter. He is green for his age so I am looking for an experienced home to continue his education , no novices please.

He happily lives in or out, is very well mannered and good to do.

He’s currently riding confidently in walk and trot and over poles. He has done steps of canter but is still quite unfit so struggles to maintain canter because of it. Once he is fitter he will make a fantastic allrounder, someone is definitely going to be very lucky to call him their new best friend! And he will be sorely missed.

Forever homes only please, no novices, no loans, no payment plans.

Serious enquiries only please.

I will not sell him unseen

Please feel free to register interest with me to see if you might be a suitable match and home for him.

Based East Riding of Yorkshire

Messages preferred please as I’m very busy right now, if I feel you are right calls can be scheduled

15.3, 11 year old striking coloured gelding, would excel on the hunting field.

Brad is a friendly horse looking for a home as a hunter/low level riding club horse/happy hacker and is seeking a confident adult rider to have lots of fun with. Will happily go first or last and is good to hack alone, or in company. Unfazed by all traffic, farm machinery, small children, dogs, and loves water.

Good to load, travel, shoe etc and will stand for hours to be bathed! Has stayed away at riding club camp and was very sensible away from home. Brad hasn’t done much jumping with us as this isn’t what we prefer to do, however he has done a bit of everything in his previous home.

Brad is not a world beater with his dressage- it’s just not his thing- so would not be suitable for pure dressage, but is still responsive to the leg, has three balanced paces and developing lateral work.

Brad does like to stick his tongue out, this is purely a learned behaviour and does not affect him in any way (he is up to date with bit fitter, teeth and physio) and Brad will come with his anatomical bridle and the bit he currently likes. He is snaffle mouthed and never strong. Brad is a genuine horse who looks to please and will give someone many years of fun, but takes his confidence from his rider so will not suitable for novice/nervous riders.

Passed a five stage vetting last year with flying colours.

£10,000 ono to include his anatomical bridle and bit. Price negotiable for the right home.

No time wasters as this is a heartbreaking sale of a much loved boy. Only for sale due to my daughter moving away for uni.

This homebred horse has been a pleasure to produce. Snaffe mouthed, he has been xc schooling and is good over ditches, water arrowheads, in fact, not a lot phases him.

A delight in the stable, he has been in a trailer and lorry and travels well in both. Alfred is not bothered by coloured fences and is careful over poles. Even though Alfred has taken after his hunting Mother in looks, he is an event horse under the bonnet and would suit someone who wants to do a bit of everything!!

Good in traffic, to box, clip and shoe, Alfred has no blemishes or vices.

He is only for sale as he is now to big for his 5’2” owner!

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896

  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Nero is a through and through school master. Nero knows his job and never disappoints.

Nero is well schooled including lateral work and works naturally into a contact when ridden correctly.

Nero will jump anything you ask him too, ditches, steps, fillers, nothing phases him!

Nero has been in a riding school for the last 8 years so is pretty unflappable!

Nero doesn’t buck, bronk, rear etc and is a real leg in each corner type!

Nero is excellent in traffic and won’t bat an eye at the bin lorry! (He’s actually more likely to spook at a bin bag! But even then he’s very easily corrected.)

He really is anybody’s ride!

He would make a super mother/ daughter share.

Nero is up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth, back etc and is fit and ready to go!

5 * homes only, this is a very sad sale and his owner will be very sad to see him go but he deserves his new family to have fun with as he’s done his riding school stint now!
