He is happy to go out on his own hacking, or in company. He is good in traffic, including farm traffic. He is good to do gates from. He is good to ride and lead from.

He is very bold, and loves hunting, but is a settled character. He is a very quality ride and shows a huge amount of scope to cover country. He has been properly hunted for 2 seasons, including amateur whipping in.

He is sound and open to vet. He has no old injuries and retired from racing 5 years ago.

Having previously enjoyed a successful career as a broodmare, producing two foals, Happy has returned to work beautifully and has continued to progress in her retraining, proving herself to be an enjoyable and straightforward riding horse.

One of Happy’s standout qualities is her temperament. She is ridden by a variety of riders here, including teenagers, and takes everything in her stride. She is kind, willing, sensible, and genuinely enjoys her work, making her a pleasure to have around both on the ground and under saddle.

She hacks confidently alone and in company, regularly enjoys forest rides, and is excellent in open spaces. She remains relaxed and sensible when out and about and has proven to be the type of horse you can simply enjoy riding.

In the arena, Happy is working nicely and has also started pole work, which she has taken to with her usual willing attitude. She is establishing a solid foundation and continues to improve in strength, balance, and way of going with every ride.

Her ground manners are impeccable, and she is one of those horses who is easy to do in every way. She is affectionate, easy to handle, and a firm favourite with everyone who rides and cares for her.

This stunning 4-year-old chestnut ex-racehorse mare has continued to progress beautifully since retiring from racing and is now ready for the next step in her education.

Since arriving, she has thrived with a steady, sympathetic introduction to her new career. She has gained condition, strengthened significantly, and is developing into a lovely young riding horse with a fantastic attitude.

She is now hacking confidently through the forest both alone and in company, proving sensible, relaxed, and unfazed by her surroundings. She remains excellent in traffic and is happy in open spaces, making her a genuine pleasure to ride out.

Her schooling has progressed steadily, and she is now working regularly in the arena. As expected of a big young horse, she is still developing strength and balance, but she is willing, trainable, and improving with every session. She has also started pole work, which she thoroughly enjoys and is taking in her stride.

Alongside her ridden work, she has been doing plenty of long-reining, including over varied terrain and up hills, helping to build her strength, balance, and understanding. She has embraced every aspect of her education with a willing and genuine attitude.

She is green, as any 4-year-old should be, but she is straightforward, kind, and exceptionally easy to work with. She has never shown any malice and is one of the sweetest mares to have around the yard. She is easy to handle, loves attention, and genuinely wants to please.
