Jasmine is a lovely 12-year-old, 15.3hh chestnut Thoroughbred mare. She has three balanced. She has been jumping up to 60cm, last summer.

Jasmine is good in traffic and is easy to handle, shoe, and catch. She is not a novice ride, as she is sharp and can spook at new things, so she would suit a confident, patient rider. She is not nasty or strong and is genuine.

She is up to date with vaccinations, recently had her teeth done, and is currently in work. Her back has been X-rayed and she has been scoped for ulcers, with no issues found.

Jasmine would suit an experienced adult rider. We have owned her for approximately 18 months, but sadly she is not the right horse for my daughter, who needs something braver that will happily jump all day.

Fabulous RoR who loves to jump

  • Thoroughbred
  • Gelding
  • 11 years

  • Racing Name; Lucarnip
  • Stable name; Oakey
  • Location; Buckingham, Milton Keynes

Oakey finished racing in May 2022. He has been in three homes since leaving racing, and very sadly, due to extreme change in life circumstances we need to find him a new home.

Oakey is an absolute gentleman to have around the yard. He is good to turnout, handle, shoe, clip, travel etc. He is a very kind horse and is the quiet one in the field. He ‘goes with the flow’ of the yard and is never demanding.

Oakey needs time. He needs more development of his posture and building of his topline, but he is a brilliant horse who will give someone so much fun and joy.

Oakey LOVES to jump. He is bold, keen and will keep on coming. He is not suitable for someone who wants to find their confidence jumping as he takes you in and jumps! He is would be a brilliant eventer/SJ/team chaser. He is good on the flat, he is just weak and needs developing, but he understands the basics of working into an outline. He is great to hack, alone or in company and is one where you can not ride him for days and hop straight on.

In his previous home he has done a days hunting and was well behaved and mannerly.

A loving, stable, kind home, who understands thoroughbreds is what we are looking for for Oakey.
