RoR Dornoch USA. Thoroughbred.

Same home since retiring as a flat racehorse in Feb 2018, 3 good paces, would excel in SJ. He's an absolute pocket rocket, is bold over a fence but needs a confident rider to bring out the best in him, and sadly I'm just not that person.

Hacks alone or in company, he's the happiest horse and loves his work whether it's hacking, dressage or jumping.

Lovely flatwork, will improve again with further schooling, recently gained 69% and 72% at Prelim level.

I have done several Unaffiliated ODEs with him, but he does get very excited and strong out xc and this is the reason I am selling him, it is a very difficult sale as I absolutely adore him but have to admit that we just aren't suited and I'm holding him back from doing a job that he loves.

Open to vetting and viewing. Based in West Wales.

Sad decision to sell, but daughter has returned to Uni so horse is no longer getting enough work. She needs someone to take her forward now and enjoy competition and partnership. Will only sell to the right home so please don't be offended if I ask questions of potential buyers.

She came off the racetrack just over two years ago and we have spent the time building topilne and working on everything being calm and relaxed. She outwintered the last two years with a lovely thick rug but is happy in stable or out.

She does still need work on the flat. She does work in an outline but is not consistent (not sure if that is rider (me) problem).

She did show jumping at Rectory last year, dressage at Summerhouse and eventers challenge at Leyland Court. However, was turned away over lockdown so this year since riding again has been hacking out, doing pole work and schooling. So is still novice and needs devloping but she is willing and able.

AngryWhitePajamas 'PJ' Is a sweet OTTB gelding who last ran October 2017, since finishing racing he was gifted to his current owner to find a new home.

I started working with him in the Autumn of 2018 and quickly fell in love!

PJ has been slowly introduced to hounds where he did half days non jumping working up to full days with jumping. Each day was carried out calmly with his future in mind. He has not been thrashed over fences nor hammered hard, he is showing all the right signs of being a lovely ladies horse. However, he is not a ready made hunter and more experience will be needed.

From the summer of 2019 I have started to introduce him to xc/sj/dr schooling. On each occasion he has put a huge smile on my face with his temperament. He has seen water, ditches, steps etc of which videos can be seen.

Though he has not had the opportunity to go out competing, I aimed for this summer but due to COVID and University finals it has not been possible, he went to his first arena eventing clinic where he performed brilliantly. He was happy to stand whilst others jumped and equally happy to leave the group when it was his turn.

PJ can be hacked both alone and in company.

I truly believe that with time and correct training he will make a super RC / PC Allrounder.

PJ is ROR eligible but due to a splint will not make a show horse.

More pictures and videos on request.

Loans, LWVTB or payment plans will not be accepted.
