Barry is a really fun horse who has lots of talent and a great attitude. He has been in the same home for the past 2 years where he has been retrained from racehorse therefore eligible for the ROR classes.

He is consistently schooling around courses of 1.15 at home but has jumped single fences up to 1.50 showing he has got the ability to compete to a decent level. He has been schooled around cross country fences on the farm ride at Somerford Park jumping all the larger fences.

He has been to some training shows last year but due to work commitments and Covid-19 he hasn’t been out this year but is fit and ready to go. He loves hacking out and takes my mum out (who isn’t very brave).

Schooling nicely on the flat and is ready to out and complete dressage tests/ Sports horse showing classes.

He’s excellent to shoe, clip, load, bath etc. Up-to date with vaccinations, back, teeth and shoes.

This is a truly hard sale as he has been my best friend for the past 2 years so please no time wasters. He needs an experienced jockey as he is an ex-racehorse so no complete novices.

If you want a new best friend who will cuddle and make you laugh as well as compete in whichever discipline you choose, then come and meet the most loving horse on the planet.

  • A talented young horse with bags of potential

Striking 4 year old Tb gelding, started his reschooling after coronavirus lockdown as he was unable to run.

He has taken to his new venture extremely well, he goes nicely on the flat with excellent paces and is also jumping courses of fences at home including, poles, fillers, brush hurdles etc. And has plenty of scope to go on. He has also already been on fun rides and jumping over 40 xc fences in one outing without being fazed.

He is good to hack, can be ridden alone or in company and is good in traffic.

He is good to load and will stand on the lorry all day long.

Good to shoe, clip and is a general delight to have a round. He is completely clean legged and injury free.No novices please. I would love him to go to an experienced home where he can for fill his full potential!

He is a talented young horse with bags of potential to go far in the right hands!

A previous successful racing career and now enjoying life as a mother-daughter share.

He has done some jumping but this isn’t his forte and we haven’t pursued this, though the right rider could potentially bring him on.

Good to shoe and load, very good feet, and calm and patient in the stable.

It is a real pleasure to keep his company.

Not suitable for a novice as he needs an able and confident rider to get the best from him and help him progress further.

He would be suitable for someone who is happy simply to have and ride him, or to progress and show him.

My daughter is off to university and regrettably I cannot commit the time to him that he deserves on my own.

No time wasters or joy riders please as this is a really tough decision, and no dealers. He must go to a good home.

I can send more pictures on request.

Tack included.

Bug is a compact, smart and beautifully put together TB bay gelding who I have owned for 6 wonderful years. During this time, he has been a true allrounder, eventing up to novice level, team chasing, hunt rides, county show workers as well as hunting over the biggest Leicestershire country.

He is the ultimate pocket rocket, incredibly brave and careful. He has a huge amount of scope with a textbook technique. 100% straight at skinnys and corners. Never strong, always in an eggbut snaffle - he has a beautiful mouth and is always light off your aids.

He has 3 fantastic paces and is well established on the flat, leg yields, automatic flying changes & has an expressive medium trot.

Honest and genuine, we have had the most fun over these years. He truly is a once in a life time horse.

Last year he was loaned to a less experienced rider giving her huge amounts of confidence eventing.

Hacks alone & in company, good in traffic, to box and to shoe.

Bug needs a experienced and knowledge home as he is a full blood competition horse. He is a character on and off the ground & likes to be kept busy.

He is only available to a 5* home, no novices, loans or time wasters please.

Passed a 5 staged vetting 1st June 2020.

Extremely sad sale, I have injured my knee and require surgery and a lengthy recovery, he will be far to bored in the field for a year!

Flashy ROR mare who has done a handful of BE90'S. Never had a xc jumping fault, always straight and genuine, loves her job!

With time will be very competitive in the dressage phase, consistently in the early 30's - gained 28 in her first ever run. Ready to step up to BE100 this season.

Lots of unaffiliated outings under her belt, will stand like a rock at clinics etc. Has BS over the last two winters gaining her first points, keeps a good rhythm the whole way round, not spooky or strong.

Hacks alone or in company, good in heavy traffic, loads herself, easy to clip and shoe.

5** home only for a special mare

Teddy is a very quality young horse with correct movement and a bold, scopey jump.

She came out of racing in August 2019. Finished sound and happy, was just too slow for racing! She has since been correctly retrained and is now working well on the flat and schooling round a course of show jumps at home. She is great with fillers, water trays etc. and is ready to get out and about as soon as restrictions are lifted.

Teddy loves her hacking, hacks alone and in company. Great with traffic, farm machinery etc. Snaffle mouthed for everything.

A pleasure to deal with on the ground and under saddle, not at all mareish and just wants to please!

Classy little horse to go forward in Eventing or a nice prospect for a teenager in PC / RC.

His flatwork is progressing very well and he's displaying 3 balanced paces, improving all the time. He has a lovely attitude to work and learns quickly so he is very trainable.

He loves his jumping, has done plenty of grid work, has jumped round a full course of show jumps and has been XC schooling. He has a lot of scope and is bold over all types of fence including steps, ditches, hedges, tables and water. He is eligible for all ROR classes as he has raced, but on the Flat only so he has started his jumping education with us from scratch.

He has been out with the Bloodhounds and was very well behaved.

A talented little horse who is ready to go out and compete with a competent rider asa the shows / events get going again.

100% box, shoe, clip, traffic. Hacks out alone and in co, also ride and leads well both ways. Easy and straightforward in and out of the stable but cribs when bored, hence the price. He is a young TB so no Novice riders please, or time wasters.

Jim is a good looking thoroughbred horse (good bone and a sensible ride).

He is a lovely gentlemen both on the ground and to ride. Sensible to hack alone or with others, great in traffic and forward going but not strong.

Does not have to be ridden every day. He has a scopey jump and is brave across country. Has hunted with the Quorn and the Meynell & South Staffordshire Hunt. Happy to go first or last.

Ready for an easier life, would be suitable for looking after young children and taking part in fun/leisure rides

My daughter and I currently share Jim and have been schooling and enjoying some lovely hacks during lockdown.

He is fit, shod all round and ready to go.

Good to box, clip and shoe.

  • Beautiful Horse
  • Eligible for ROR Classes

Sam is a very low mileage, extremely quality thoroughbred who we bought to retrain and compete in the large intermediate and show hack classes. I have done all of the basic schooling with him and he is a light, responsive and calm ride (although he does have his thoroughbred moments as they all do).

Sam loves to hack out and is as happy walking along the roads as he is galloping over stubble. His brakes are excellent and he is always hacked and schooled in a snaffle, no gadgets needed or ever been used on him. That being said he has also been schooled in a double bridle as part of his ‘showing’ education.

I generally ride alone, so Sam is well used to hacking out on his own. I have previously hacked him with another pony and he was happy to be in front or behind and was just his normal self. I haven’t hacked him in a group but he is well schooled and obedient so I expect he would just take it in his stride if he was introduced to it in a sensible and proper way. He is good in traffic as we are on a fairly busy country road so has seen it all from cyclists to large tractors.

Sam is a beautiful mover with three lovely paces. As he gets fitter and schooled more these paces become very powerful and he has a true ‘rocking horse’ collected canter, and a stunning extended trot. He would be ready to go out and do a prelim/ novice test as soon as he was fit enough, and loves his schooling so he would be excellent as a dressage horse.

I haven’t jumped as it’s not my thing, and we don’t have an arena (most schooling done on grass or out hacking) he has done raised pole work and is a willing boy so I’m sure would jump if you wanted him to.

Sam is perfect to clip and with all husbandry activities, is polite to handle.

I am selling Sam as I am wanting to go in a different direction and try my hand at driving horses, and as a thoroughbred he is unfortunately unsuitable for this.

Sam is low mileage and for that reason hasn’t had much experience of a horse box, he loads but is not relaxed once he is in there. He will need someone who is happy to work with this and in return you WILL get an excellent, talented and fun-loving competition horse, with a can-do attitude to his work. I haven’t been able to work on this aspect of his life in the time that I have owned him as I have gone straight from a very full time university course which I completed while working two jobs, straight into a more than full time career.

When we first purchased him we did take him out in the lorry and you couldn’t have faulted his behaviour so I have no doubts in my mind at all that with practise he will be fine.

This is an opportunity to purchase a lovely horse who is a known quantity as I have done all of the work on him myself. The hard work is done, and now he needs a competitive rider to go out and win with him!

Lukey is a fabulous 15.3hh pocket rocket event horse. He is a stunning correctly put together model, straight moving, vice and blemish free Lukey is excellent to hack and is 100% in ALL traffic, from motorbikes to tractors and trailers. He doesn’t have a nap in him, is superb hacking alone and in company,

Lukey is careful and scopey over a showjump, wants to keep the poles up, sharp in front and shows excellent technique behind. He is brave over all fillers He is fantastic Xc. Bold as brass and takes you to a fence, enjoys every minute of it. He is a fun forward ride and loves his job jumping!

Lukey works beautifully on the flat in a very consistent outline with rhythmical correct paces. He is straight moving with plenty of action. He understands basic lateral work and does a smart test

Lukey has competed at BE 80/90 pc, has been in 2 pony club homes and attended rallies and camp. He has a fabulous temperament. He would be suited to a competitive competent teen or small adult who wants a safe fun little horse to enjoy out competing!

Has plenty of scope and bravery for novice eventing if not further. He is a beautiful horse and suitable and eligible for RoR, would excel showing

He is a total pleasure to have around and is an incredibly straight forward ride, just not suitable for a nervous rider or a very novice rider as he is a mini competition horse with a massive heart and bags of talent

Dolly is a 16hh thoroughbred and a real sweetheart. Her temperament is truly lovely and she wants to be everyone’s best friend.

She has 3 lovely paces and always tries to please. Being young and low mileage, Dolly is still green and can be nervous, however she is a kind horse and does not buck/rear etc. Dolly needs a confident rider in order to help her build confidence. Please no novice riders!

Dolly hacks out alone or in company.

We have been doing pole work and slowly introduced her to some jumping. Whilst Dolly can be green, she is showing potential and has very a willing attitude.

Dolly is very well mannered on the ground and good to clip / shoe.

I have owned her for just over a year now and she is a quick learner. Dolly has also recently been at a professional yard for schooling livery whilst I had a newborn baby at home which has been very beneficial to her learning.

Dolly would benefit from a knowledgeable home, with someone who has the time to continue producing her slowly and correctly in order to unveil her full potential. She is a really exciting project for someone who has time on their side.

For sale through no fault of her own! 10* home only. Videos and more photos available upon request.

Currently used for Showjumping, within 3 months had 3/4 BN double clears, qualified for the amateur champs in 85 + 95cm. (Would have got her DCs in British novice and moved to discovery except COVID got in the way!)

She is an absolutely pleasure to jump, she is bold and careful in equal measure. She will jump from anywhere and is clever enough to get her legs out of the way. She is 100% to take out in the lorry/trailer, loads herself and will stand quietly on for hours.

She has great flatwork, super soft snaffle mouth, started basic lateral work and flying changes.

She has been XC schooling and is as bold as brass and no nonsense. Been through water, banks, ditches etc.

She hacks alone/company. Excellent in open spaces, not strong, nappy, silly in anyway.

I use her for lessons with young/novice riders- she is always exceptionally well behaved and always looks after them. Doesn’t rear/buck/kick etc.

On the ground she is a gem. She never misbehaves, she isn’t clingy, neurotic, Marish /ticklish etc. She’s good to shoe/box/catch/clip etc.

She is currently barefoot due to excellent feet but has been shod before and is perfect with the farrier.

She has no lumps/bumps etc.

Would suit amateur that wants an easy to do horse that is no nonsense and no trouble/someone that wants to show jump low level/event low level/riding club horse or someone that wants to do a bit of everything.

She’s absolutely one in a million, as good as gold can really step up and jump for someone who knows what they are doing but quieten down for someone who is nervous and novicey.

Super safe and easy to do.
