ROSIE (Arumadaay- Adaay X Rum Swizzle). Beautiful, rising 5 year old, 15.1hh, bay, TB, mare.

Rosie is seeking a new home where she can continue to enjoy learning to progress in all disciplines.

Same home since birth, so full history known. Rosie was foaled and reared at Red Kite Stud in Rockbourne. She was backed in 2022, followed by three months of professional pre-training. She commenced training with Eve Johnson Houghton, and ran her first and only race on 18th January 2023.

Having made the decision not to continue her racing career, her owners moved her to Kentford Farm Stud where she was turned away until August 2024, after which she began training as a riding horse.

Rosie’s owners have put considerable effort into ensuring that she has a positive early education. She been professionally schooled over the past few months to ensure that she gets off to a good start. She hacks well and has seen a variety of farm machinery and other vehicles with no problems. She has been polite to canter out in open fields and very brave to hack out by herself.

In the school, she is coming along nicely and tries very hard to do as her rider asks. Begun some lateral work and works well in her basic paces. A very attractive mover with three active and correct paces, Rosie should do well in the future in the dressage arena. Begun jumping and is happy to pop a small fence.

Rosie has a very sweet nature on the ground and enjoys a fuss. She really needs to be someone's one and only now. Not suitable for a novice rider due to her age and experience. She is a sensitive little mare who tries really hard for her rider and will be best suited to a gentle and experienced older teenager or small adult to produce for any activity. Lovely little horse with so much to offer her new home.

For sale from a private genuine loving home, a pretty and sweet natured 15.2-15.3hh 15 y.o very well bred Weatherby's National Hunt ex racehorse Thoroughbred mare who has been a mum for the last 6 years of her life.

Now needs a new experienced home either as a proven broodmare or could be brought back into work with the right person. She did race, just didn't like it so she is ROR eligible.

She apparently did do a bit of show jumping and cross country in-between racing and being a mum before her current home where she has just been a broodmare for the last few years.

She would also make a nice natural horsemanship project or do some fun horse agility with.

She has been an incredible broodmare producing outstanding wonderful natured and strongly built offspring. Has taken first time both naturally and via AI. Foals easily and is a great mum, just knows her job well.

She is a very good do-er with no health issues and good feet. Upto date with vaccines, teeth rasped every year and is on a worming programme with consistantly clear worm counts.

She is used to being with mares and geldings but is scared of being bullied so needs quieter companions.

She is good to handle and transport.

Will only go to a loving home with proper experience and knowledge of ex racehorse thoroughbreds!

Victoria is the prettiest 12 year old 16hh thoroughbred all rounder Bay mare. Victoria is a kind and quiet mare to ride and is an all round yard favourite. Good to handle on the ground, bath, shoe, clip and excellent stable manners. No vices.

Victoria is always willing to try her hardest for you and is not scared to jump anything you put her too, which makes her the perfect All Rounder candidate. She has been ridden and competed at unaffiliated shows by novices whom she looked after superbly and taught massively. But equally can step it up for a more advanced rider whose wanting to push her to a high level, making her the ideal mother daughter share.

Training wise Victoria was trained and brought on professionally and is ready to go out and have fun with this coming Spring. She has schooled over novice tracks showjumping and xc with ease proving to be bold and careful.
But equally Victoria is ROR eligible, and with her classy paces would do very well in the show ring. She will happily hack out alone or in company. Infront or behind sensibly in all paces and never gets hot or silly. We have had Victoria since she was 6, straight of the track and fitted in perfectly to our family. She seriously is a special horse and I couldn’t think of a fault to give her.

Home is the MOST important part of this sale.

Lovely 7yr old ex racer Dottie is looking for a confident and experienced rider who is willing to take the time to build a trusting relationship with her and show her the world.

Dottie has been re backed and can walk trot canter and jump. She had been to a 3 day show and this did not bother her. jumped round and took it all in her stride we have also taken her cross county schooling which she loved .Not spooky but green.

She doesn’t mind who rides her. we have had a few different riders ride her to see how she reacts.

Dotties loves to work and do things.

l. injections in bum as doesn’t like in neck. is possiable to do in neck but can be bit tricky.

Can be turned out alone or in herd. Good to clip , teeth , travel, hack.

I have to many horses and not enough time.
