Roo

Eligible for ROR

Roo is a sweet and genuine mare who has been slowly and correctly produced over the last 10months. She is now ready to go out and do a job for someone.

Making her a fantastic prospect for a junior rider, mother/daughter share or competitive allround home.

She has a super trainable attitude and a calm willing temperament. Brave and bold, rue shows great promise as a grassroot eventer, PC or riding club horse.

She has been out to arena hires unaff show jumping, and XC schooling and low level dressage. Taking everything in her stride, she has also competed in the ROR tattersalls in hand qualifier been placed 5th showing her quality and versatility.

She is a pleasure to have on the yard with lovely stable manners and a kind gentle manner.

She still has some maturing and strengthening to do as expected for her age but with time and milage she will make a super partner for someone looking to produce a fun, capable allrounder or competitive event type.

Lovely sweet mare, 110% to handle and do in everyway. Adores being fussed, having a groom and just generally being your friend.

Flat raced until 2021 and then has been retrained in all spheres

She done a little bit of low level everything and has been a lovely project who is very willing to learn and takes everything in her stride

Riding very nicely on the flat and developing every day. Would go out and do a nice level dressage test now.

Enjoys her pole work and loves to jump. Building confidence all the time and will do some lovely rounds some courses.

Been XC schooling and grew in confidence jumping logs, ditches, steps, water etc
Been out and competed at a hunter trial jumping clear around a 2'6ft class with ease.

Acts very sensibly when out and about, easy to do, tack up, wash off etc.

Absoloutely adores her hunting! Is currently out regularly and whipped in on a couple of ocassions. Very good with hounds. Goes out on point on her own and happy to go away from other horses. Easily sits in the field and not strong or silly. Jumped some timber with ease. Currently being hunted by a teenager with no issues.

Looking for someone to love her as much as we all do. Very sad sale and has been a very difficult decision to make.

Would suit a home with a number of horses as she can get attached to others if she has the same horse with her all the time.

Lives in or out without issue

Easy to do

100% to clip

Up to date with teeth, farrier etc

Loads and travels well in trailers or lorries

Great to hack and goes out alone or in company

Can weave intermittently when other horses come and go from the yard

Wetherby's - Strike Rate (ire). You can view his flat race record online. Known at home as “Womble”. I can hand on heart say I’ve never met a more sweet natured horse as womble. He was always supposed to be a project but he’s been with me over a year simply because I haven’t been able to face selling him. Once I realised just how lovely this little horse is I decided to give him a long holiday on good grass and boy did he blossom. I’ve had many projects over the years and other sweet natured horses but nothing quite like him. I should add I don’t “deal” simply just have one or two long term projects every 18 months or so. He’ll put his head to your chest for a cuddle and fall asleep on your lap.

He came to me straight off the track, I wanted to know what he’d done and what his temperament was like so took him for a couple of hacks in the early days back in November 2024 where he was super out on the headland around where I live and also in the village where buses and cars etc all pass us. You can tell he’d been with a good trainer who has kept his life well rounded. I then also took him to a pole clinic really just to see how he took to something new and this was when I decided to keep him for myself - he was just SUPER.

Fast forward he’s had his holiday and has had 2 cycles or normal shoeing and is more than ready to be brought back into work but through the last few months I’ve been stepping away from horses to start a new business which is my coffee trailer so my commitments daily will now be in there. I’m offering him as he is from the field as I know a lot of people prefer to have them that way to put their own stamp on. If he doesn’t sell within the first couple of weeks I will bring him into work and price will increase.

He’s up to date with shoes (just had a set on 22nd sept). Vaccs and worming. Will want his teeth doing but having a hard time finding a dentist in our area.

He’s good to deal with in all ways, loads and travels like a dream, I clipped him head to toe end of last winter and he stood like a rock the whole time, has been hot shot twice since having plates off and is getting used to that well. Has been in a mixed herd, geldings only and also will happily go out by himself. Hopefully I’ve covered everything in this add but please don’t hesitate to ask any further questions. I’m sure it goes without saying but he’ll need an experienced person to bring him back into work as he’s had 10 months off. I’m sure as any 4 year old would he will throw some shapes.

We’re based Swansea, South Wales. Happy to help with transport if needed and all viewings and vettings welcomed. I’d love to see him go to someone who wants to keep him for themselves or alternatively would be up for letting me know should they ever want to sell him as I would have him back in a heartbeat but as things stand he’ll stay a field ornament with me.

Charlie came to us for 6 weeks retraining in June/July 2025 following having had his time off post racing. Once he returned home, things didn’t quite go to plan, and Charlie is now looking for a new home

Charlie needs someone who is a mixture of; sympathetic, willing to give him the time to develop (he is naturally quite weak being 4) not a bully of a rider, but someone who can show him the way, give him confidence  and create a great 1:1 relationship with him.

He hasn’t done it with us, but he has napped with his younger rider and kicked out to the leg on a few occasions. Charlie is a young TB, who has a brain, but isn’t mean or malicious, he just needs a confidence giving rider/someone who understands young TB’s.

He is great to hack, is learning to jump, which he likes, is working well on the flat, doesn’t need to be ridden every day and is very easy to do/look after. He is currently out in a group of three and leads in and out with them everyday. He is naturally forward to the leg, without being buzzy, silly or ‘hot’ and is a nice responsive ride

He will give his new family a great amount of fun and joy

No loans, no trials, no loan with view to buy

As some will know, we very very rarely do Rehoming, we want to make sure that Charlie has the best home with his future in mind
