John has been to lots of rallies and shows individually and in teams for riding club, including dressage and show jumping. He often scores around 70% in his dressage tests with lovely paces. He would also do pure dressage. He has established lateral work and rein back.

John hacks alone and in company and also rides and leads. He is good in traffic as he hacks straight out onto a main road at home. He has also been travelled to friends for hacks and behaved well.

He is good to load, plait, clip, bath, etc. and is also well behaved for the farrier, vet, physio, etc.

Vegas is an unusually chilled out TB who everybody I’ve ever let ride him remarks how ‘safe’ they feel on him. He doesn’t look at anything out hacking, jumps confidently around courses with ‘scary’ British Showjumping wings, fillers etc at big unaffiliated shows (Hickstead, Felbridge etc). Confidently jumped everything we asked of him on his first time out XC schooling - absolutely loves it!

He is happy living out 24/7 and just happy hacking. Can be left in field for a month unridden and always just as quiet to get back on as if he were ridden daily. I have had him over two years, keeping him in field at home and on full livery.

He definitely prefers to be out 24/7 in a herd, but stables fine other than minor weaving at feed times and when companions are being tacked up to go out but he isn’t. A new hay net usually settles him just fine.

His slightly wonky conformation has not held him back in any way: winner of 11 flat races including the Brighton Mile, this little horse has SO much heart and retired sound at age 9 after winning his final race. He has travelled all over the country racing -very experienced traveller who loads himself into a 3.5t.

I am looking for an exceptional home for this horse. He will come with full wardrobe including two saddles.

Bonnie (Anne Bonny GB) is a 15.2 approx, 7 year old thoroughbred mare by Black Sam Bellamy out of Presenting Taupo.

Bonnie retired from racing injury free in May 2023. She is sweet natured to handle and is good for the farrier, to catch, load and is up to date with all vaccinations and teeth.

We have now had Colden 2 years and he has been an absolute pleasure in all ways, he has brought my confidence up loads in these last years and even taught me how to go over a racing fence and I can stand by the fact he is an amazing and bold jumper who loves his job. He has never done anything silly and is very sensible but isn’t a plod either but at the same time he is snaffled bit ridden, he’s a very happy character who loves his job and to get on with it without being strong or silly. Colden has been on beach rides, all around the Welsh mountains, out hacking and is always straight forward, he’s a big favourite on the yard as he has his unique and likeable character.

He’s currently being ridden by myself a couple times a week and whilst he was in race training, I myself aren’t a very confident rider but I am at my peak of confidence on this boy and I love every minute of it! Colden is going to be very missed as he’s a legend on the yard and my favourite horse of all time.

I’m 5ft6 and fit very comfortably on this boy.

Colden deserves nothing short of a 5* home that love him just as much as his team and owners do on the yard!
