Ellie (Oborne Lady, ex-racehorse) is a 13 yr old TB, who has been out of racing for 4 years and is now an absolute school mistress. She has 3 very correct paces, a lovely big walk, expressive trot and super adjustable canter. She loves her jumping and would suit a home looking for the perfect all-rounder. Ideal for a competent teenager (she would be a great transition from ponies to horses as she is super adjustable) or a competitive adult.

She has won and scored 70%+ Novice dressage, been placed at Cotswold Cup 90cm, placed 90cm SJ. She schools at Elementary level dressage at home, over a meter SJ and schooled 110 XC.

Ellie is very confident hacking, hacks alone and in company, hacks on the New Forest, fun rides, beach rides, working equitation and she is great with kids.

Good to do in all ways, snaffle mouth. Super easy to load, clip, shoe, medicate etc. She isn't your typical TB and is a very good doer!

Lives with other mares and geldings (happier in groups and lots of turnout)

Saddle refitted every 5-6 months, tack and rugs also available for purchase.

I am a veterinary surgeon who has known Ellie since she entered race training at 4 years old so her full history is known and in the 3.5 years I have had her she has been a joy to own. Ellie does windsuck but this is easily managed.
