Owen is a one in a million type, he’s a real quality schoolmaster with the most amazing temperament to match. He is a very well bred Irish sports horse by Chin Chin x Argentinus.

He’s the type everyone is after, would suit many abilities from beginners who he completely looks after, up to professionals where he’ll step up a gear. He’s super sensible and always makes the rider on board feel confident and safe. He’s the perfect allrounder.

Owen school’s beautifully on the flat, he has 3 lovely balanced paces, soft in the hand and very adjustable. He’s a real schoolmaster with auto changes, leg yield, walk to canters, perfect rhythmical gaits.

He loves his jumping, nicely forward to a fence filling you with confidence but never silly, not phased by fillers or water trays. Has a lovely technique over a fence and really knows his job, previously jumped up to 1.20. He would be great for to show someone the ropes around some smaller classes!

Cross country, he’s bold and brave so could be a great eventer. Again, he stays sensible at all times and always has good breaks.

Owen is an absolute saint to hack, both alone and in company. Sensible enough for your granny to take him round the village but fun enough to take him out and have a good blast when he’s asked to. He’s brilliant with traffic, has a een bin lorries, vans and motorbikes and doesn’t bat an eyelid. Owen is good in open spaces can walk along on the buckle and won’t go any faster untill he’s asked, we really can’t fault him.

This lovely boy has the most amazing temperament, loves a fuss and a groom, comes to call in the feild, super easy to handle and do everything with.

He really is a very special boy who will turn his hoof to anything, and will only go to the best of homes.

Looking for my next forever horse after sadly retiring my first horse after injury. I am an enthusiastic but responsible (slightly older) owner who always genuinely puts the well-being of my horse first. Looking for a confidence-giving schoolmaster / genuine all-rounder for dressage up to BD Novice and SJ / ODE at 80 and 90cm. I don't need scope to go higher, just a safe, sound, happy partner who is up for having lots of fun and can knock it out the park at this level.

Must load and travel well in a rear facing 3.5t box (I travel and compete alone)
Easy horse to have on the yard, happy to live both in and out
Good to shoe, clip, etc etc
Must be fine to turn out with a well-behaved gelding.
Must pass a 5* vetting with x-rays.

Sorry no warmbloods or horses with "potential" - I am looking for one who is doing it already.
