Malcom

Ref #: 312998
  • A cob that loves to jump
  • Fun low level allrounder
  • Easy to handle in every way
£10,500
  • Cob

  • Gelding
  • 12 years

  • A cob that loves to jump
  • Fun low level allrounder
  • Easy to handle in every way

Malcom is a super sweet natured and easy to have around.

On the flat he is responsive to your leg and has nice forward paces but is still very much more kick than pull.

He happily pops around a small course of fences including fillers. He’s never spooky. He’s a real confidence giving type.

To hack Malcom will go up the main road alone and in company, in front or behind. He’s not bothered by lorries or fast cars. He’s passed building sites with moving machinery not battering an eyelid.

For the past 3 years Malcom has been with a young girl in a pony club home. He’s been to unaffiliated shows and regularly placed. Sad sale due to school commitments and outgrown.

He’s an absolute saint for the farrier, easy to clip, load, travel, catch etc

Malcom would make someone very happy and will them with confidence.

He would make a great addition to someone’s riding school, RDA, low level all rounder or happy hacker.

Malcom is sold with a full wardrobe of rugs, bridle and fitted saddle.

Wanted Safe, Sensible and Smart Hack

Ref #: 84635
I am looking for a genuine horse to offer a 10* forever home on a beautiful private gated estate in Central Scotland, with excellent stabling, grazing and endless hacking. This horse will join my much-loved horse of 20 years, along with my hunter who has sadly been prematurely medically retired, so a knowledgeable, caring and experienced home is guaranteed.

References can happily be provided.

I am ideally looking for a mare or gelding aged between 5 and 12 years, 15.2hh plus, and no greys please. The horse must be good in traffic, sensible and non-spooky, as I am fortunate to have access to extensive hacking. I particularly enjoy forward-going horses, so something that is forward thinking, responsive and well-schooled would be ideal. No napping, bucking or rearing etc.

Temperament is very important, so the horse must be kind and easy to handle on the ground and good to clip, shoe, catch and load. I am looking for a horse with a nice attitude and willing nature, that is straightforward to work with and enjoys its job. I do not jump, so it does not matter whether the horse jumps or not.

I am happy to consider horses with superficial blemishes, but no health conditions or previous injuries please.

As this will be a forever home and the horse will not be sold on, please no silly prices.

A True Irish Gentleman!

Rocky is a 16-year-old black Irish Cob with a kind, gentle nature. Before his ridden career he was driven, which has helped shape him into a very sensible and reliable horse.

He would be ideal for a family home looking for a safe, easy horse to enjoy hacking in the countryside, beach rides, and relaxed days out. Rocky is calm, affectionate, and a pleasure to handle.

While he will work in the school, it is not his favourite environment. However, with consistent work and patience, he is likely to become more comfortable there over time.

Rocky has no known vices, no health issues, and is sound with clean limbs. He is easy to manage in all ways – good to load and travel, good with the farrier, clipping, and the dentist.

He is being sold on behalf of a client due to a change in personal circumstances, and this is a genuine and sad sale as Rocky is a much-loved horse.

Rocky is a true gem with plenty to offer the right person. Viewings and vettings are welcome.

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There’s no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet, that’s not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion.

HARRI - ALL ROUNDER GENTLEMAN

Ref #: 401894
  • Potential to be a winning show horse or working hunter
  • Nice paces and an amazing scope
  • Keen to learn and polite in doing so
SOLD!
  • Welsh Section D
  • Bay
  • Gelding
  • 8 years
  • 14.2 hands
  • Potential to be a winning show horse or working hunter
  • Nice paces and an amazing scope
  • Keen to learn and polite in doing so
I’ve had Harri 3½ years, since he was 4 years old and it has been the most rewarding few years ever, but now it’s time for him to make somebody else’s dreams come true. Due to my irregular shift work I don't have the time to devote to Harri. He has such potential and, but sadly I just don't have the time any more. It's not fair to him and it breaks my heart.

Harri is such a gentleman to hack alone and in company, and isn't not fussed by surrounding noise and traffic.

On the ground he is fantastic to handle, easy to catch, tack up and groom; stands brilliant for the farrier, and also the dentist (not sedated)

Harri has had experience at different places such as winning the Royal Highland as a foal with his Dam, local pony club shows where he’s thrived, and county shows where he hasn’t put a foot wrong. He’s been to the beach numerous times and also cross country where he’s had no fear to jump what’s in front of him. He's also amazing to load and travel

Although Harri has been ridden by novice riders and been as good as gold, he 100% needs somebody who is confident and knowledgeable as he is a lot of horse to handle and has lots to give

He is a dream to school and jump where he’s proven his scope not just over wings but cross country also, with working hunter potential!

Harri is open for viewings and vetting,

  • Offering a varied and fun life

We are looking for a superstar pony for our petite 8 year old (120cm) approx 11.2 - 12.2hh

He is walking, trotting and cantering off the lead and currently trotting small courses up to about 40cm.

We are looking for a kind, experienced pony who can hold his hand and help his confidence soar and safely take him out to competitions - primarily dressage and showjumping. Must know their job and not constantly test as the nerves can sometimes creep in.

Will have a varied life to include lessons, beach rides, farm picnic rides, hacking, NSEA and pony club.
Must go for little legs and be suitable for a child to handle.

We would love a true child’s best friend - the sort you can do fancy dress on at your local show, go to camp or stay aways without them getting unsettled and most importantly, something that enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses!

Some minor health conditions considered as long as disclosed and reflected in the price.

We are an experienced family home and have a younger sibling waiting in the wings, so would like something that we can treasure for many years.

Sensible budget.
Ideally located within 2 hours of Dorset
