BREEDING

In 2015 we had his first foals, a stunning colt out of a the half sister to Opposition Buzz and an elegant filly out of a SHB mare by Classic out of Welton Crackerjack lines. We are looking forward to seeing how they develop.

He has a kind loving temperament that is second to none and is a huge part of the PVS family, being petted by kids, hacks out with the ponies (mares) and travels with mares and stallions on the lorry. He behaves impeccable at events with crowded warm-ups and is a pleasure to handle.

Pennineview Bee Spritely (by 4* event stallion Pennineview Silver Concorde (SHB) out of The Bees Knees V, Fulton) is a great stamp of a stallion, superb conformation that oozes effortless quality in his jump and paces. Near 50% TB.

Pennineview Bee Spritely is an exciting young stallion that comes from serious eventing parentage with both parents being international eventers. The father, Pennine View Silver Concorde, an Advance and International CCI4* eventer, carries the famous dutch bloodlines of Concorde (1.60), Voltaire (1.60 ) and Ramiro Z (1.60) plus 70% TB.

The dam is herself an International CCI3* mare, with c. 30% TB and is from the same dynasty as Opposition Buzz, the Olympic eventing medallist in 2012 for GB, ridden by Nicola Wilson. In her own right the mother was phenomenal with the number of double clears eventing at Intermediate and 3* International level! Her Father was Fulton, a top Belgium warmblood and sire of Advance eventers and PSG Inter II dressage stars!

A very well put together, short coupled and well-balanced stallion with uphill paces and a scopey jump that is showing great potential in all spheres. Inline with his father and grandfather he has a kind trainable temperament.

His first young stock from 2018 are under saddle at the end of 2021 and in 2023 jumping double clear at BE100 showing beautiful cadence in his floating paces and when lose jumped has managed to jump out of the school over the 1.30 fence! His next crop of foals where born in 2021 and are very exciting also showing very springy floaty paces and can be seen on his Facebook page.

Casper’s dam is the british bred connemara pony Chilham Quest . Chilham Quest is the full sister to RIHS and HOYS winner Chilham Aquarius. Her sire Castle Coment was the only pony to take supreme at both HOYS and Olympia. Chilham Quest also produced the pony Rosscon Copycat the pony who took supreme at the RIHS in 2024 making Casper her maternal brother.

Casper’s sire Grange Jasper descends from a dynasty of successful ‘Grange’ ponies. The Grange prefix is synonomous with ponies competing successfully in the US, Australia and Europe at FEI level. Casper’s grand sire Silver Heaven was a prolific producer of performance ponies worldwide.
