Golden Chief is a stunning cob with a leg in each corner. Super conformation with looks to die for. He is clean limbed with super bone.

Chief works really well in the school with 3 correct paces. He has started lateral work and would excell in dressage / show ring.
He hacks out on his own and in company. Previously he did do some driving.

He loves his work and Is a horse that needs a job so wouldn't suit someone who only rides once a week.He's a cob who needs work.Would need a rider who has ridden youngsters and isn't put off by the odd spook

He will make a super competition cob, thrives on work. Needs competent rider.

Please read the whole advert as I’ve written an honest advert to prevent wasting people’s time and my own aswell as getting Arthur his forever home.

Arthur is an absolutely stunning 14.1 / 2 hh cob for sale through no fault of his own, his 15 almost 16 years old and looks like his been shaken out of a fairytale book. He carries himself so beautifully and is a very affectionate and intelligent horse.

The vet and the dentist said they would put Arthur as a couple of years younger than his passport age. He had his teeth done in September and just had the farrier out, he has been shod in the past but has great feet and so does not require shoes - the farrier said he has the best feet his ever seen. Arthur has been driving horse for the first part of his adult life so he is very much ridden on voice commands he has not been driven by myself. He has done liberty dressage and he knows various tricks his very clever.

Arthur loves to be groomed and often falls asleep with his lip dangling because his enjoying it so much ! He would stand for hours to be groomed. He is an absolute saint to handle on the ground and a small child could lead him around. He has become a bit stubborn with his front feet being picked up but I think his being a bit stubborn because his bored. He is excellent on the road and has previously been ridden through London. He has ridden both English and western.

Although there are many areas that Arthur would suit a complete novice owner I do not think he is for a complete novice rider because he can be strong. He has not bucked or reared and is very good at listening to voice commands once he knows you but he is strong when he wants to be and for that reason I do not think he would suit a novice. I don’t have access to a school so I don’t know how he is schooling. Apart from the odd log I don’t if he jumps. You could lead a novice on him and he would be an absolute angel. I have had novices ride him off lead and he was amazingly behaved. Arthur really is an amazing horse and his unfortunately wasted here and his too good for that. Please no loans and no time wasters I’m open to sensible offers for a good home

• Prince is an absolute diamond and definitely one for the show ring.

He has exceptional movement main, tail and feather to die for.

This horse is going to be something really special. He loads straight away trailers and horseboxes, picks up all 4 feet is perfect for the farrier and will stand to be brushed all day.

He isn’t bothered about anything nothing phases this horse at such a young age i would love to keep him and bring him on myself but commitments are elsewhere and i simply don’t have the time, this is a sad sale he’s been very looked after, he’s so easy to keep and is no trouble at all he’s an absolute angel someone will be very happy with this boy.

Absolutely beautiful 16.2hh, 7 year old, grey, Irish mare. 

This mare is something else. She is quiet enough for a novice or quality enough for a more established rider. Ideal for someone who wants a beautiful horse but doesn’t want a challenge. 

A safe hack she goes first or last. She hunts and is exactly the same. Stands at a meet goes at the front or behind whatever your preference. We’ve been on fun rides, beach rides and down the pub, Clinics and lessons.

She loads perfectly, is mannerly to handle, turns out with mares and geldings, happy in the stable. Easy to shoe, bath (important when you’re her colour!!) clip, traffic etc.

• Bertie is a rising 7 year old Irish Cob. Wonderful horse with a loving personality. Loves to be groomed and fussed, loves all people and other horses.

Bertie is hacking very well, goes alone or in company. Great in traffic nothing fazes him. He’s been on pleasure rides and beach rides. He’s fine in open spaces.

His schooling is coming on well in walk, trot and canter. He has been out to local dressage and competed in BD quest.

Hackney x cob driving gelding, 9 years old, 15.1hh. Going nicely and ready to start HDT or anything else driven. He is a smart looking and well mannered horse. He competed in driven dressage and cones but due to a knee injury I couldn't continue competing last year although maintained his driving and schooling education.

He is the sort who will step up a gear when asked or jog along the roads and tracks happily as well. He is good on the roads but has not met many large vehicles. He has been schooled through Ashfields obstacles including the water. He has been driven about during club and national competitions at Ashfields as well as during (very noisy) agility dog shows. He is used to the coming and going of driving horses on the yard.

He is a little green under saddle but hacks out happily alone or in company. He would also make a lovely riding horse as he has a powerful rhythmic trot and lovely walk.

He is easy to clip /trim /bath /farrier /catch. I have not travelled him but he travelled onto the yard with no issues. Available to view at Ashfields, Great Canfield in Essex. Please respect the asking price.
