Top class Cob with HOYS potential, works beautifully on the flat and really stands out. Correct and square with plenty of bone, excellent conformation.

Woody loves to jump, he is bold and brave without being strong & rarely touches a fence. Jumps water, ditches, anything you can imagine to put under a fence with a smile on his face, loves cross country. Will happily jump the most complicated tracks

Schools happily over 1m at home and has show jumped up to 1m. I have only done working cob classes in the last couple of years as I don’t enjoy the flat classes but he could also do very well in flat coloured or cob classes. He has manners to burn and gives the judge a very polite ride

Very chilled out, can be in or out and never changes, even after several days in the stable he still comes out his usual self. I have taken him to many shows completely on my own including BSHA National Champs 2018 where he was such a lovely easy horse to compete

It is rare that a horse of this quality is so easy to do with such a lovely attitude. He is a pleasure to own, a kind and loving horse and would be perfect for an amateur or professional team.

Great out hacking alone or in company, perfect in any traffic including tractors, lorries etc as he lives on a haulage yard! Easy to shoe, travel, clip, wash, anything!

As you can see from his lack of results in 2018 I haven’t got time to commit to him as I would like to, with university and work commitments along with family situation I haven't got the time to travel around the WSH circuit as I would like. He had lots of lessons, done some unaffiliated dressage and show jumped in 2018, jumping double clears every time out showjumping (90cm-1m).

This is a very hard advert to write as this is a horse of a lifetime that someone can go and have so much fun with but I don’t have the time to do this horse justice and we feel he deserves a home where he will be out competing, jumping and generally having a fun varied life

Please no time wasters this is a very special horse of a type that is very hard to find and he will only be sold to the best of homes.

He has an extensive wardrobe including his tack that can be purchased separately.

  • Tully is an exceptional cob with a temperament to die for. A stunning young horse with an old head on his shoulders.

The girls hack him everywhere alone and in company, he is as happy to go down the busy roads as he is to walk across the common on a buckle.

He always works in a snaffle and is great in open spaces. Good with farm machinery and has seen HGV's and buses on the roads.

He goes barefoot but is not a problem to shoe.

Great in the stable, always good to catch and to turn out. He can live out on his own or in a herd.

This really is a smashing little horse for somebody.

Don't be put off by his age, these old fashioned Irish cobs are becoming harder and harder to find.

Please no text messages as they might not get picked up.

First to try will buy.

Puzzle has been with us for more than 4 years and has always been easy, enjoyable (and cheap!) to care for. H

e is excellent to hack, school, box, in traffic, with children and dogs. He is currently barefoot but is happy to be shod if the terrain/workload demands it.

Due to the status of my health he has only been in work sporadically for the last few years and has mainly been cared for and ridden by a small teenager. He is now in regular work and has taken to dressage and jumping with pleasure and ease.

This week he took part in his first dressage competition and despite never having been ridden indoors before, remained very calm throughout and achieved a score of 65.9% ( Prelim 17A, Affiliated on a ticket) despite the bad weather.

Puzzle is up to date with his flu and tetanus vaccinations and has never needed any non-routine veterinary treatment.

He is a delight to look after and has never given us an anxious day since we have known him. We are looking for a loving, caring and, hopefully, permanent home for him where he can continue to expand his horizons and have fun. We feel he would make an ideal Riding Club partner, dressage prospect or mother/daughter share.

Please search 'Puzzle May 2019' on You Tube for video.

Absolutely stunning first class maxi cob, has been a prolific winner in the ring no matter what he’s entered into, maxi cob, coloured or dressage.

Recently qualified for RI and will be sold with the ride and entries to CHAPS HOYS at Royal Highland Show in June.

Always gives 100% in what ever you ask of him wether it’s showing or just hacking around the lanes.

100% to load and travel in a lorry and will happily stand all day, I have never tried him in a trailer, he’s so good to load and travel I cannot see it being a poblem and if you are interested and this is your only method of transport I would borrow a trailer and try him in.

Safe sane and sensible but needs confidence in his rider so absolutely no novices or nenervous riders.

Absolute gent with manners to burn who loves nothing better than a cuddle. Easy on the ground to handle, shoe, vet, clip, load, catch etc etc an absolute first class saint of a horse.

I would prefer an all round RC type of home for him as I feel he has given his all to showing and really has nothing left to prove, does prefer a varied lifestyle, loves to go out through the day and stabled at night but will happily live out 24/7.

I have advertised him previously but the right home has never come up for him so one last try!

We are in Aberdeen and 20mins from airport where I would happily collect you and deliver back.

Open to any vet or trainer to be sold so please do not ask for lwvtb or long term loans.

I have loads of pictures and videos to share with interested parties.

Price is negotiablele to the right home and includes a m2m saddle and some other bits and pieces.
