Broken last year he was turned away over the winter to mature and brought back in to work end of January. Since then he has been showjumping, jumping fillers and full courses, a flat showing clinic with a ride judge and arena eventing, which he loved.

This little horse is still very green and a long way off being the full package but he has taken on every challenge with enthusiasm and a willing attitude.

He is now ready for an experienced and competent person to continue his education.

Please no novices, he is a forward thinking fun cob who still needs guidance and his hand holding.

He will make a fantastic working show cob along with lots of potential in so many areas.

Albie – Fun Allrounder for Confident Teen / Small Adult

15.1hh rising 9-year-old Irish Sports Horse gelding looking for a confident rider to enjoy him.

Albie was recently purchased, passing a 5 stage vetting, for an 11-year-old rider but has proved to be a little too cheeky for a younger child. He is a kind horse with a sweet nature but can occasionally be a little nappy, so he is best suited to a confident teenager or small adult who will ride him positively.

Previously he has been regularly ridden and jumped by a 17-year-old, where he proved to be a fun and enthusiastic ride when handled with confidence.

He is not a complicated ride, just a horse who enjoys his work and benefits from a rider who will ride him forward and enjoy a bit of personality.

Albie would suit someone looking for a fun all-rounder, Pony Club or riding club type to enjoy hacking, schooling and jumping.

6yr old, 15’2hh coloured mare. (Stable name Nelly)

Has been long-lined, lunged, backed and ridden away. Needs restarting after having the winter off due to injury (stated below).
Will live in or out.

Currently barefoot, has previously been shod all round. Up to date with dental, vaccinations including strangles.

Does have a callus on her left hind from a kick in the field resulting in a broken splint bone. This has now healed nicely and the callus has formed on the outside of the splint bone which means no ligaments or tendons are impacted. Our vets are positive this will not affect her ridden career. Full vet history can be disclosed.

15hh Rising 6yo Gelding – Fun Allrounder / Hunting Type

Danny has hunted this season with his owner and also a few days in Ireland previously.
A bold, genuine horse who will happily jump hedges, rails and ditches and stands politely at the meet.

He schools nicely on the flat and is a comfortable, forward ride.

Has showjumped a handful of times and is brave to a fence, but is still green so would benefit from further experience. A lovely horse for someone wanting to produce a smart allrounder.

He hacks alone and in company. Sensible in open spaces and good in heavy traffic.

Very straightforward to have on the yard – not clingy to other horses and can be left in the stable or on the yard alone without fuss.

Loads and travels well.

Good to turn out in a mixed herd.

Would suit a variety of homes, particularly riding club, hunting, or someone looking for a genuine fun horse to enjoy.
Forward thinking so not suited to a complete wobbly / nervous novice.

A kind, genuine horse who always tries his best.

Tommy - Stunning 4-year-old gelding, approx. 16hh, ID x.

Tommy has been backed and has hacked out both alone and in company well. He came to me for further schooling and jump training, and in just a few weeks he has come on tremendously.

He has the most wonderful brain, works beautifully on the flat, and is extremely well balanced. He is already producing lovely changes and is proving to be very trainable and eager to learn.

Tommy has jumped a few times under saddle and has taken to it very quickly, popping a small course of fences sweetly and confidently. He has also shown successfully in hand, so is well used to show environments.

He would make a wonderful horse for someone to continue producing over the summer. He is straightforward enough for a competent teenager or amateur rider. He is eager to please and has the most wonderful temperament.

Tommy recently had his first clip and stood amazingly for his full body clip, including his ears.

Good to shoe, bathe, hack, turn out, and lunge.

Although Tommy is proving to be an extremely easy and safe type, he would not suit a very wobbly or nervous rider as he is still young and needs further education.

A lovely young horse with a bright future ahead of him, and one who could excel in any sphere.

Fabulous Fred - Smart, solid and full of quality, this stunning 15.1h 6-year-old maxi cob gelding is an absolute head-turner with excellent bone, feather and a kind, expressive face.

He has a lovely, genuine temperament and is a pleasure to handle in every way. Easy to catch, shoe, box and clip. Good to do both on the yard and out and about.

Riding nicely on the flat with three balanced, comfortable flashy paces. He has the scope and attitude to turn his hoof to a variety of disciplines, making him an ideal all-rounder or fun family horse. He would excel in the show ring, in my opinion has the potential to be a HOYS / top end show cob! Equally he’s a fabulous riding club activities or as a quality leisure horse as well.

Clean-limbed, open to vetting, and ready to find a loving home.

Fred has done loads of unaffiliated showing and is always a big hit with the judges, he’s also competed dressage and unaffiliated showjumping and has been super successful at these too.

Hacking he is better in company as he’s a little nervous of big traffic coming up behind him which is the only reason for sale as current own just wants to hack

Incredibly Sad sale, He’s been in the same home since he was 6 months old

A genuine, quality show cob who is a pleasure to have around. 10* home is a must for fabulous Fred

Bred for conformation and temperament, this kind-hearted Cob X is still low mileage and ready to go on to give someone a world of fun.

Jed is snaffle mouthed and works very nicely on the flat. With balanced, expressive paces, we think he can go on to excel in a range of disciplines, with particular potential in the show ring.

He hacks out well around roads and in open spaces, alone or in company, happy in front or behind and is good in traffic.

He’s hunted, done clinics and fun-rides with previous owner and will happily pop round a little course of jumps in a nice rhythm.

He was purchased from his breeder and has been with his current owner for three years where he has mainly been hacking and schooling since then so full history is known.

A real favourite with all who meet him, he loves people and will stand all day to be pampered.

Good to clip, shoe and catch etc. Up to date with vacc’s and teeth. Will turn out with mares or geldings.

He can sometimes get a reaction to pollen in the spring, but this has never been problematic and a nose-net tends to help. Has occasionally been seen to weave in his stable when settling into a new place or when there is lots going on.

He’s a big, well built boy and rides nicely forward off the leg so please no beginners or real novices, though he’s always been impeccably behaved!

He loves a job to do and is happiest in a regular routine. It really is hard to fault this sweet natured chap. It’s an incredibly tough decision to let him go so only this most suitable, kind and knowledgeable home is sought after.

Current owner would love to stay in touch.
He has an extensive wardrobe including fitted saddle, which can be negotiated with price.

Rio - 15.2hh Polo Bred Gelding 2011 Liver Chestnut

Offered to the market on behalf of his owner Rio is looking for a new best friend to call his own.

With an extensive CV Rio has lots to offer.

Hunted with the bloodhounds, Rio proved unfazed by the busy atmosphere and enjoyed being around lots of other horses and having a fast paced job to do.

Beach rides and fun rides are his favourite. Lots of cantering and adventuring around the open countryside as well as dipping his toes into the sea.

Having previously played polo he is a responsive switched on ride and prefers to take confidence from a still well balanced competent rider.

Rio will ride in an arena although he does tend to activate polo mode a little more in this environment will be more responsive than he would be on say a happy hack.

Happy jumping logs and poles when out and about - not a ready made show jumper as this hasn't ever been asked of him. With time and schooling this could just be his unfound forte.

Great on traffic and is a brave sort. Happy to hack alone and in company.

Sadly Rio was sold to his owners 6 months ago and has come back to us to be sold as he simply wasn't a good match to his less experienced jockey. Since being in our yard we have found him ever so slightly worried so think the rider horse/ combo may have left him unsettled.

That said he has also been owned by a fun loving teenager and she idolised him. He was sold purely down to family circumstances at the time - she would love to stay in touch.

Not the type to nap, bronk or rear. Not suited to a novice home - Experienced quiet riders will allow him to shine.

An absolute saint to have on the yard. A gentleman in the stable. Recently trimmed by the farrier. Clipped and only needed extra hands to do his ears and head. No stable vices.

Loads onto a trailer like a professional and travels well.

Happy to turn out with mares and geldings. Is neither top nor bottom of the pecking order so will slot into any home / yard environment.

Wormed to date
Passport and microchipped
Sadly no loans or trials

Super lovely all rounder

Really sweet and kind temperament.

She was broken earlier this year and has been super straightforward, she is riding nicely in the arena and has hacked both alone and in company. Been on the roads a few times and didnt mind about the traffic, seen farm machinery ect.

A really easy horse to handle and deal with both on and off the ground. When she matures and fills out would probably look very smart hogged out.

Hopefully going to get her out xc schooling next week.

She is a real sensible type with a laid back nature, ready to go and see the world and have lots of fun

John Boy is a lovely, affectionate Irish-bred gelding who is a rare find. He is a genuine young horse with a kind nature and a real love for his job, always wanting to please his rider and give them confidence.

Standing at approximately 15hh, John Boy is a quality 4-year-old who was broken in October and has since been steadily and correctly produced. He has taken everything in his stride and has been willing and straightforward every step of the way.

He is a lovely stamp with good conformation and quality feet. On the yard, he is a real favourite – quiet, easy to manage and a pleasure to have around. He is never sharp or strong and gives his rider a safe, confidence-giving feel, making him an ideal horse for an amateur or someone looking for a genuine partner.

On the flat, John Boy is riding nicely for his age. He is light in the hand, responsive to the aids, and working correctly in all three paces, showing a willing attitude and a nice way of going.

He has been out to various arenas, cross-country hires and outings, where he has proven to be easy to load, tack up and handle. He is sensible in open spaces, happily cantering in company while remaining rideable and easy to pull up.

John Boy has also been lightly hunted, where he proved to be safe, sensible and well-mannered, thoroughly enjoying the day without becoming strong or silly.

Showjumping, John Boy always tries his best. He is honest, forgiving and will help his rider out if they get it wrong. He has seen fillers and different types of fences and takes everything in his stride.

Cross country, he is genuine and level-headed, happily jumping ditches, banks, water and a variety of fences while remaining light in the hand and easy to ride.

He hacks well both alone and in company, is good in traffic, and is unfazed by other horses leaving or joining him. He has also been to the beach, where he absolutely loved it – happily going into the water up to his chest.

On the ground, John Boy is kind and easy to deal with. He enjoys attention and is good to catch, clip, shoe and load onto both lorry and trailer. He has no stable vices.

John Boy would make a fantastic allrounder, Riding Club horse, or a genuine lifelong partner for someone wanting a kind, straightforward and enjoyable horse.

Loving Home Wanted for Real Head Turner Black Mare
15.1hh black Cob mare – a true gem with the kindest nature you could wish for.

Temperament: As kind and genuine as they come. Easy to shoe (shod on fronts), load, clip, catch etc.

Riding: A real “turbo cob” who loves her hacking. She’ll happily go for miles alone, nothing phases her, and she stood beautifully at the Autumn meet despite it being my first time. She loves to go forward but is never silly - making her safe, fun, and confidence-giving.

Presence: A real head-turner with her striking black coat

Experience: Ideal for someone who enjoys fun rides, hacking and local shows. She’s full of character, loves her work, and will give her rider endless enjoyment.

This mare is so much fun and deserves a kind, caring home where she will be cherished. She is not just a horse, but a partner who will bring joy to the right person.

Looking for: A thoughtful, loving owner who values her kind and genuine nature, appreciates her forward-going way, and wants a horse to enjoy life with.
