Maggie is a big cuddly teddy bear. I have owned her for 4 years. She has nice flat work and is just in a snaffle bit at all times. She has 3 nice paces at walk trot and canter and can do a nice prelim dressage test.

Jed is snaffle mouthed and works very nicely on the flat. With balanced, expressive paces, we think he can go on to excel in a range of disciplines, with particular potential in the show ring.

He hacks out well around roads and in open spaces, alone or in company, happy in front or behind and is good in traffic.

He’s hunted, done clinics and fun-rides with previous owner and will happily pop round a little course of jumps in a nice rhythm.

He was purchased from his breeder and has been with his current owner for three years where he has mainly been hacking and schooling since then so full history is known.

A real favourite with all who meet him, he loves people and will stand all day to be pampered.

Good to clip, shoe and catch etc. Up to date with vacc’s and teeth. Will turn out with mares or geldings.

He can sometimes get a reaction to pollen in the spring, but this has never been problematic and a nose-net tends to help. Has occasionally been seen to weave in his stable when settling into a new place or when there is lots going on.

He’s a big, well built boy and rides nicely forward off the leg so please no beginners or real novices, though he’s always been impeccably behaved!

He loves a job to do and is happiest in a regular routine. It really is hard to fault this sweet natured chap. It’s an incredibly tough decision to let him go so only this most suitable, kind and knowledgeable home is sought after.

John Boy is a lovely, loving Irish bred gelding. He is a rare find – a fantastic horse who absolutely loves to jump and always wants to please his rider, combined with a lovely temperament that gives his rider confidence.

Standing at approximately 15hh, this 5-year-old, John Boy is a lovely stamp of a horse with plenty of quality. He has a fantastic attitude towards his work, is genuinely a yard favorite and has always been very quiet, easy to ride and look after. He is happy to be ridden by anyone, children as well as adults, and never seems to get strong or sharp which gives the rider great confidence.

John Boy has good conformation, good quality feet. To match this he has a very willing temperament that gives everyone that rides him confidence and a safe feeling.

On the flat John Boy rides very well and is light and responsive to the aids. He bends correctly, is supple and balanced in all three paces.

John Boy has been to various arenas, cross country hires and outings and has always been easy to load, tack up and manage. He has proven to be sensible in open spaces, happily cantering with others while remaining easy to pull up and ride.

John Boy has also been lightly hunted, where he proved to be very safe, sensible and well mannered throughout the day and he really enjoyed himself without being silly.

John Boy is an incredibly versatile horse who would be suited to RC/PC, dressage, showing, showjumping, XC, working hunter, hunting and a mother/daughter share – the list goes on.

Showjumping, John Boy has plenty of talent and is very careful. He listens well to his rider and is quick to sort himself out if the rider gets it wrong, happily jumping from any stride. He has seen bright and spooky fillers and fences and has taken everything in his stride.

Cross country, John Boy is light in the hand giving the rider a great feel. He happily jumps ditches, banks, water and other types of fences while remaining level headed and genuine.

John Boy hacks well both alone and in company and doesn’t mind other horses leaving or joining him.

Around the yard John Boy is lovely and easy to handle. He enjoys being brushed and fussed over and is good to catch, clip, shoe and load onto both lorry and trailer. He has no stable vices and will be a great asset to anyone who buys him.

The wonderful Zoey! A mare that I have become super fond of in the time she has been with me!

Zoey is a 10yo beautifully bred quality and substantial ID mare. She is 10yo, however she has spent 4 years as a brood mare, so has low mileage for her age!

In Ireland she has had a predominantly happy hacking career, being ridden by novices & hunting, being an allround family horse, along side breeding foals!

Since I have had her, I have hunted her with the Fernie, she proved sensible & very straight forward! She stood at the meet, and was polite and level headed cantering in the field.

Zoey is working well In the school. She is a lovely active forward ride, with a fabulous step in the trot! She is green for her age in the school- but her schooling basics are all in place to further her education and strengthening! She has a lovely big show horse canter, and is light in the mouth and wants to naturally go on the bridle- which she has picked up incredibly quickly! Zoey is a super intelligent mare, she loves to work in the school and learn new things. She fills the eye in a dressage arena and is a super attractive horse. I think she would make a very smart dressage horse!

To jump Zoey has taken everything in her stride and proven to be bold over fillers. She really wants to be careful over a pole and gives the rider a lovely feel over a fence. Zoey thoroughly enjoys her jumping!

He remains safe and steady in all environments and does not rush or pull, even in open spaces or on the way home, you can gallop across open fields with loose horses running along side him, then immediately pull him up and allow him to walk on a long rein or ask him to stand while horses run around him, he is most definitely not sharp, spooky or spiny.

He has been truly exceptional during her time on the riding school, he is unbelievable forgiving when rider lose their balance, struipps or have a bad stride into a fence, he always takes care of her riders, his substantial build, with a leg in each corner, combined with her calm disposition, sure-footedness, and gentle nature, gives riders confidence to progress and excel. He will stand patiently at the mounting block while you mount. I can honestly say he has absolutely no quirks, vices or negative traits.

Although he is happy to go at a quiet steady pace, he is also responsive to the leg and has three beautiful balanced, steady paces. For more experienced riders he will work into a nice outline with enthusiasm and energy, always staying calm and sensible, he has never bucked, reared, kicked or bitten, he is the most loving kind gentleman you could ever wish to meet.

Axel has outstanding ground manners. He stands for hours to be groomed and fussed over, with or without a head collar or lead rope. He is not clingy, and is happy living in or out. In the field he keeps himself to himself and never causes trouble, whether stabled alone or turned out in a mixed herd.

Axcel has a history of excellent health and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps, bumps, or unsoundness.

He is currently barefoot with strong, healthy hooves and is equally happy to be shod. He is excellent to clip, bath, catch, great to load and travel, fantastic with the farrier, vet, and dentist.

He is incredibly low maintenance, requiring no daily work. He can have weeks or even months off and return to ridden work without any fuss. He maintains his condition year-round on a simple diet and is easy to manage in every way.

He passes our riding school annual Licence Inspection, which is the equivalent of a Stage 2 vetting.
