Truffle , 14.2hh rising 6yr old. Stunning Irish cob mare. Beautifully marked , leg in each corner type

Has been hunting with the Flint and Denbigh. Super sensible all day , snaffle mouthed , jumped rails and good with the hounds. Piloted by a young girl with not much hunting experience !

Truffle enjoys xc schooling and the farm rides , jumps well over natural fences. She’s excellent to hack alone and in company , passes all traffic completely unphased. Perfect in open spaces. She is balanced in the arena with 3 good paces , more of a leg on ride but does have good transitions. Pops a course in the arena.

Would suit a more novice rider , she is steady and sensible , but has been enjoyed by better rides also. Would take a child or an adult , she’s super stocky so takes the leg well. Has previously been a general alrounder and been enjoyed by all levels of rider.

Truffle is a pleasure to have around , handled by children. Easy to do in every way. No vices , lumps or bumps.

Her manners are impeccable — quiet and easy to shoe, box, catch, clip, ride, and handle in all situations, including busy traffic and new environments. She has a wonderfully willing temperament and shines brightest when she is building confidence in her rider.

Ridden regularly by novice students, Lexie takes everything in her stride. She is calm, forgiving, and always looks after her rider, even in tricky moments. The epitome of safety and steadiness, she truly is a confidence giver and an ideal mother–daughter share.

Her absolute favourite job! Lexie loves XC — always taking every jump in her stride, always honest, and always eager. She has a natural enthusiasm for fences, takes everything on with pricked ears, and always makes sure to carry her rider safely to the other side.

• Show Jumping:

Schooled over coloured poles and happily jumping up to 80cm here. She would be the perfect pony to take a child from cross poles to more technical courses with confidence and fun.

• Flatwork:

Beautifully schooled on the flat, with three balanced, expressive paces and a super straight way of going. She has the presence and movement to shine in show classes.

• Hacking & Pleasure Riding:

A dream hack — relaxed, reliable, and unfazed by traffic. Happy to go out alone or in company.

• Previous Experience:

Has hunted, taken part in hunter trials, and enjoyed pony club activities. She is versatile and willing, making her suitable for almost any loving home.
