Opal is a homebred mare and is only for sale due to downsizing due to time and space(and owner is not getting any younger unfortunately!)

She is a beautiful mare, she was broken in as a youngster so there is potential for someone to ride her again, but she would need completely restarting so for this reason we are selling her mainly as a broodmare.

She has some of the best bloodlines for someone who would hope to breed with eventing in mind, her dam raced well both in Ireland and the UK and has some of the best old fashioned bloodlines going back to Nijinsky so she has a fantastic pedigree on both sides with plenty of blood and quality.

She has had a vet history that we had fully treated, she has been completely sound now for 3 years after having treatment and should never have the problem again. We are more than happy to disclose this fully with potential buyers.

She does prefer to travel in a 3.5t without a partition in. I have also travelled her in a 7.5t without a partition, but use the 3.5t mostly now as she loads and travels so happily this way.

She is a truly lovely mare who is being very much wasted looking very pretty in the field currently.

We are sadly advertising Pippa and a few of our other horses as we are drastically cutting down on numbers due to complete lack of space and time(and owner isn’t getting any younger sadly!)

She bred us a lovely, strong and healthy foal last year. She was a firm favourite with all the girls at the stud while she was there for her lovely nature and made a brilliant mother. She was not at all foal proud, she foaled easily and has been very uncomplicated in all ways.

She is very happy living out-she has done this mostly with us, however she is also happy to be stabled as she was with her foal.

She is easy to do, good for the farrier and very good to load and travel(3.5t and 7.5t hasn’t travelled in a trailer)

Icilla is a 17.1hh stunning black, mare by Furst Romacier X Ferro. She was born in 2013 and we have owned her since a 3yr old. Dee originally had a career in sport where she competed up to advanced medium (training PSG) and has scores of over 75% however an injury meant she could no longer be ridden. She has since produced two super foals for us (2023 and 2025) and has been a superb mum! Dee is great to handle and is easy to catch, great for the farrier and vet. She is currently in foal to Fire Kracka which will be a full sibling to her 2025 foal (the bay pictured) who we are thrilled with. Dee received her positive heartbeat scan on 8th July.

Fire Kracka is 16.1hh by Fidertanz X Diamond Hit. Fire Kracka is currently competing very successfully with Ruby Hughes at PSG and is showing all the attributes of a future Grand Prix horse and his foals on the ground are looking just as fantastic as he is!
