Dysalau Daphne Dubh is a pure bred Irish draught Mare by Dysalau Dewi Dewr, she has Hillview farm Milligan, Rhythm & Blues, Kensons King William, Echo King Breeding. She was scanned in foal to a colt by Aye Aye Skipper last autumn due July 2026.

Dubh has been slow grown not pushed she has lived out on good hay and grass and left to mature, she has not been pressured, she is very confident and willing, straight moving, wide chest and a broad body and enormous bum. she is still maturing with a fine head .

Her mother was sold to the household cavalry, and Dubh has the same very steady personality, she doesnt panic over anything. she is happy even at this young age to just be on her own, come away from the others, but if we are honest she actually likes people more than horses.

She is willing to have a go and loaded on the trailer in the field first time, she has had a life of being a horse and so she knows no negativity to anything, she has total trust in people. She will be a solid addition to a breeding program or as a ridden horse.

She has Black and Dun breeding in her and although she is possibly in foal to a grey Irish draught her black breeding is more sort after.

My young grandchildren have sat on her in the yard and been led round but she is not backed, just played with

Grandsire - Darco who is one of the most accomplished show jumping stallions of all time. He is a leading stallion that has produced the most offspring competing at GrandPrix in the world.

Trendy’s Dam, On Fire, went from Pony Club to Advanced level eventing with her rider, showing a brilliant temperament.

Her Granddam, On High, has produced multiple Advanced level event horses, including 5* winner, On Cue.

This level of breeding is hard to come by, with not just an impressive Sire but also very impressive Dam lines.

Trendy can be protective of her foals so wouldn’t suit someone wanting to cuddle them every day as she prefers her own space. Fine with the other horses & foals.

Trendy had an injury when she was a foal which meant she was never, and can never be ridden, she has no other medical issues.

Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, worming etc. Easy to catch.

14.3hh 12yr old Bay Arab Mare by Sadeem out of Express Athena. Bred in Dubai before being imported at 6 months old.

Raced a handle of times as a 3yr old before being retrained. Been with the current owner for the last three years where she predominantly just hacked proving great in open spaces, good in traffic and happy to hack alone or in company.

She has been ridden in the arena and seen coloured poles which is loved but is very green with that side of her ridden career.

Bred a foal last year and foal really easily so would be an asset to a stud as a broodmare.

She is by Wish Upon a Star (Gribaldi sire of Totilas) an advanced event horses. Dam Sire Jumbo, the dam is full sister to 3* Joyride and Brief Encounter. Bred by Grafham Stud.
Her full brother is now competing at Intermediate with Alex Bragg.

She is very well put together, good conformation and beautiful uphill paces, a lovely mover with natural balance. Field sound but not able to be ridden due to injury. Owned since a weanling so full history known, she was very straightforward to back, brave and bold over SJ and XC fences and was showing all the potential to be a top class prospect before she suffered an injury.

Only available to the very best home with experienced breeding program. Reluctantly for sale as I need to focus on the competition horses. May P/X for a 4/5 year old of equivalent quality.
