Reluctantly writing this as I never thought the time would come where I would have to. An unexpected change in circumstances forces the sale of this fantastic versatile one in a million mother’s dream pony.

Nellie an 11 year old Registered Standard Shetland Mare 40” . Bought direct from the breeder we have been the only home she’s ever known.

She needs no introduction having shown Inhand to a high level all over the country with huge success. She’s an excellent driving pony aswell as a fabulous ridden pony, both on and off the lead. She’s been Ridden off lead at County, Riding Club & Agriculture Level by a young adult aswell as a child with huge success.

She has been the most fabulous Lead Rein pony for my Precious Granddaughter for the past 2 years. Granddaughter is now absolutely obsessed with all things pony and Nellie has excelled in her role as her starter pony. Granddaughter now moving on to her Dartmoor pony who also rides and drives, so we feel Nellie should move on and let another family enjoy all she has to offer.

Nellie is excellent to do in every way and is super with young children.

This is a heartbreaking sale for us and one prompted only by an injury to one of my mares that is proving very expensive to treat/repair and has left me with nothing to ride for the next year. So as my granddaughter does not need two ponies it is our decision to let Nellie go whilst I find another to compete myself.
