Smudge needs little introduction, he has been on the circuit for many years and always in the line up at the big shows.

The easiest pony to care for, happy to live our 24/7, never sick or sorry, barefoot, loads himself, falls asleep whilst being clipped.

I can’t fault little Smudge, he has taken my daughter from a nervous unaffiliated rider jumping 60cm to a very confident BS rider taking every turn and winning endless rugs and sashes.

My daughter finished her time on 128 ponies last year but he has stayed as we didn’t want to part with him but he needs to move on to a new little jockey.

She is without a doubt one of the straightest Ponys on the circuit. She has never stopped. She will always bring your child through the start and finish. I wish we had another year on 128s as the best is yet to come with this mare. She will take you to a fence but has breaks. She has never bucked, reared or bolted. Gold league pony through and through, the bigger the fence the better and she loves her job.

Buttons has spent many years now taking my daughter from complete novice to competent rider. Sadly Buttons is up for sale as my daughter has now out grown him.

Competition wise, Buttons is out showjumping most weekends, he’s done everything from lead rein classes up to 85 cm. He happily jumps 90 at home, could possibly go higher with a smaller rider.

Lead rein, buttons is the perfect pony. He will happily go at the pace you ask of him. However I wouldn’t recommend him to a purely lead rein home. He will need someone who’s willing to have some fun with him.

First ridden pony wise, buttons is perfect. He will walk, trot and canter first time. Loves jumping.

Perfect to clip.

Pretty good to load.

Perfect with the farrier.

Can be difficult to catch when you’re getting to know him. Come for a treat.

Will hack out alone or in company.
