Archie – 4yo | Exceptional potential | Heartbreaking sale

Very special 4-year-old, bought directly from his breeder . Archie was never bought to sell and his future has always been carefully thought of, making this an extremely difficult decision.

Correctly backed with all the right groundwork done and never overworked. He is currently ridden in the field on the buckle, happily walking, trotting and cantering. He is never strong or silly and is incredibly sensible for his age. Another pony bolted in the field and Archie didn’t react .

He hacks out and has jumped a couple of fences under saddle XC fences Exceptional jump,keen and makes a great shape , incredible natural ability and a fantastic attitude. He has been long reined on surface , grass and road and is always sensible , even being long reined by a novice ( my boyfriend ) . He has no vices, is up to date with vaccinations and dentist, and has never put a foot wrong.He is willing , keen and has a very trainable attitude . He loves life and loves to please , he always has a smile on his face , loves turnout but happy in too , just an easy , happy , lovely boy .

He has all the potential to make a top workers pony or flat pony and would be very exciting to produce for the under 143cm classes. I genuinely believe he will go far in the right hands.Lots of bone and fabulous confirmation .

No novices or inexperienced homes. He is young and needs a knowledgeable, confident home that understands how to produce a youngster correctly.

Only for sale as I feel I am too big for him and have become very self-conscious riding him. He is far too special not to be shown off and reach his full potential.

Homes will be vetted and I will be extremely fussy. I want the right home for Archie and the right pony for his new buyer.

Hobnob is by the performance-bred Welsh Section D stallion Farleaze Lord Prenwyn, out of a Caspian mare.

She is well handled, confident and easy to do. Good with farrier, loads and travel well. She has had her teeth checked and rasped with no issues found. Fully vaccinated against flu and tetanus.

Hobnob has been lightly backed, we would have liked to keep her to produce her further, but due to owner/rider pregnancy, we are unable to do so. She lunges and long reins well and has been sat on several times, has walked and trotted with a rider on and off the lunge, always taking everything in her stride. She remains very low milage due to lack of time, but shows a great attitude towards ridden work.

She is a good-doer and can happily live out all year round without a rug.

Her sire Farleaze Lord Prenwyn competes successfully with children and adults in all disciplines, he has inherited incredible scope and technique from his sire, the legendary jumping pony/sire Machno Carwyn. Farleaze Lord Prenwyn's dam Follywood Miss Teak placed at the National Dressage Champs and finished 15th in the British Eventing Grassroots Champs, proving her own talent and versatility.

Hobnob's Caspian dam Holloway Zarrin Minoo is a career broodmare and has now been sold to France. She had an incredibly laid back temperament and showed great technique and attitude when loose jumped.

Has the most beautiful temperament and acts way beyond his years. Always the first to the gate to great you, and follows you round the paddock for a fuss!

He has been lightly backed and hacked out a couple of time over summer. Now turned away to grow on over the autumn / winter months. He has been shown in hand locally, where he won both his classes and reserve in hand champion. He behaved impeccably and was a pleasure to take out.

Havanna is such a dream to have on the yard. He is a kind pony and just wants to please. Perfect to catch, load, travel. Has been excellent in all traffic met to date. Would stand for hours to be groomed, bathed, plaited and fussed over. He picks up all 4 feet and is good for the farrier. My 9 year old daughter deals with him at home and he looks after her.

A gentleman in the stable, but his current routine is out at grass full time in a mixed herd of 5.

I would love him to go to a showing home, but equally a happy hacking home would be fine. He just needs to find a home where he is loved and adored as much as he is here. Sadly with 5 other ponies I cannot keep them all going into winter
