Paddy really is one of a kind, the most chilled out and laid back pony, please do not be put off by his age! Backed and produced entirely by my 14 year old daughter, Paddy has been to everything pony club… residential camp (2 years running), rallies, championships, stay away shows, mounted games, beach. Paddy is an exceptional mover, never sharp or silly, and can turn his hoof to any activity. Exceptionally well schooled with 3 fabulous and balanced paces.

Paddy is proven at 70cm eventing, qualifying for both Cotswold Cup and Pony Club Championships, double clear at every outing.

Gorgeous 14.2 grey gelding 13 years old. Well bred Connemara with green passport. Full history since import as a 5 year old known. Charlie is an absolute superstar and perfect first event pony. Took my daughter from 70 to BE90 with a million wins, placings and champs along the way. Hr is a complete schoolmaster at BE80 and flies 90 Xc too. He is extremely good on the flat and would equally excel doing more BD.

Paddy has an extremely trainable personality. He is kind and gentle to handle on the ground, yet flashy and super smart when ridden. In his previous home, he was very successfully shown as a working hunter and qualified for HOYS.

Excellent to hack alone and in company, completely safe and confidence-giving in all traffic, good to canter in open fields. Travels well on his own and with others in both a 3.5 lorry and trailer.

I have had Marshie for 2 years and over that time he has been produced slowly and properly by a teenage girl from a just backed 4 year old to a confident, talented and easy pony with masses of potential.

He has a lovely soft mouth and goes in a beautiful natural outline, he is forward going but never strong and never says no/stops . He jumps off any stride and is a very easy ride with a mega jump on him too.

He has attended performance camps, unaffiliated evented (where he placed 3rd in a big section for his first ever event). He has been to many showjumping competitions. He is not spooky and he has a lovely forward rhythm.

He is also very easy to do on the ground. He stands to be bathed and pampered for hours. He enjoys lots of fuss and gives kisses on command. He hacks out alone and in company and stands perfectly for farrier. He travels alone and in company and loads well onto a lorry or trailer. He has never napped, bucked, reared or bolted.

He had some time off this summer whilst I was sitting my GCSEs but since then has come back into full work better than ever, only reason for sale is lack of time as I’m doing my A levels and I am also now off ponies. He hasn’t evented later this season due to the ground and this is something we haven’t done with the other horses either but he has still attended unaffiliated showjumping events.

He has the potential to be a pony trials event pony, showjumper or I can equally see him make a lovely workers pony!

Reasonable but fair price for a pony that will definitely be a future superstar. Price will increase the more he does as I will register him BS.

Although he is a very easy ride, I’d like to see him go to a brave and ambitious little jockey to see him reach his potential.
