Prior to us buying him, Paddy was carefully produced in Ireland. Paddy won the equijump pony producers class as a six year old in Ireland as well as placing at Dublin int. Horse show. He also hunted, and competed and placed in top working hunter and Connemara classes which we are regularly told he would excel at now too. We brought him over and have just kept stepping up the ladder and believe he is still capable of so much more.

He proceeded to establish his event career here to a 2* top class event pony with ease.

This legendary pony absolutely blows us away each time we take him out and attracts attention everywhere he goes. Taking his rider from 80/90 eventing on a schoolmaster up to Novice and 2* in just short of two seasons.

He is an out and out jumper, he absolutely NEVER says no and is extremely careful, very quick and clever on his feet, will jump off any stride and always get his rider out of trouble and never looks at anything put in front of him. He trains 1.20 plus at home with plenty of scope for more and would easily excel at BS. We believe he has all the scope, bravery and ability to step up to intermediate.

He is a cross country machine, extremely bold, brave and can make the time well for a pony, will take a flyer and can be set up for a combination.

Due to rider age and being out of pony classes he has competed against top end horses and still holds his own. Any mistakes made are due to rider error and inexperience and have an explanation we are happy to explain. However, these do not reflect the ponies ability. He will always bring his rider home safe and with a smile on their face.

Dressage is his riders weak point and it has unfortunately shown in some marks however it has been improving each time and he has all the ability and knows all the tricky movements. Judges comments often state how there are many more marks to come. Recently having training with a top class dressage instructor who has stated there is all the ability for mid 20 scores.

He is great to load, travel, dentist, farrier, clip and traffic proof. Never bucks, spins, rears or bolts.

Paddy is a true competition pony and therefore not a novice ride.

We believe we have only scratched the surface of what paddy can do, no doubt he will take his next lucky rider to pony europeans, youth championships and pony trials. He could go round 100/105/Novice/PT now and be very competitive. Unfortunately i didn’t get time with him to achieve these milestones, but there is no doubt he is capable with his next jockey.

Melody has brought our family on the most amazing journey and it's now time for her to do the same for her next family.

She is very adaptable and has taken three different riders to the highest level.

We have her since she was 6YO and my eldest daughter was selected for the Europeans in 2022, where they subsequently won team gold in Poland. Then my next daughter took the ride on her and we have been to Blair castle in Scotland, Oudkarspel in Holland, European Championships in Westerstede, Germany taking team Silver and placing 7th Individually. My niece had the ride on her this year and posted many wins and placings and was selected as a reserve for the 2025 Europeans.

She is very giving pony and is a very solid, straight forward ride. She's has the heart of a lion out cross country and always looking to the next fence, loads of clear Showjumping rounds at the highest level including the crucial clear SJ round for Ireland that secured the team silver medal, dressage in the low 30's (with some sub 30's) internationally. Sandy is truly one in a million! Not only is she an outstanding competition pony having been shortlisted for Europeans a few years ago as an FEI event pony, she is also the kindest, sweetest girl who is fantastic to hack, great in traffic and just super good fun to have around!

She adores people and is excellent to do in all respects.

She is an amazing mover and has 3 very good gaits, Rhythmical trot and up off the floor canter and a ground covering walk, she's easy in the contact and moves off the leg beautifully and is very established in the shoulder in and leg yield. I'm convinced she would make a top dressage pony capable of making teams in the future. She's very secure in all the elementary movements and is working towards medium.

Obviously with her past she is a fantastic cross country and jumping machine! However her owners would really love her to have a quieter life now so would ideally like her go to a younger child wanting to get going in eventing/ PC or an ambitious dressage rider to develop this side of her talent.

She would of course also suit a small adult in so many different disciplines including showing.

I can't stress how wonderful this pony is I only wish something as good as this came along when my daughter was young!

The safest and soundest eventing pony that dreams are made of. I have owned Turpin since the day he was born and he is the most mannerly, sweetest and pleasant pony to deal with on a day to day basis. He is the only foal out of 2* eventing pony Newgrove Lass and has shown every bit of promise to be as good as if not better than her! Turpin has never had a days lameness and is such a tough, sound pony, he only actually wears shoes for the studs! He is 100% to hack alone or in company, clip, shoe and any of the day to day bits, he really is just an innately lovely little man.

Dressage
Turpin is established at BE100 level and although this would be considered his weakest phase, he is still able to achieve good results. He needs a rider with good feel and mature understanding. He has the canter of a rocking horse and all his work is correct.

Showjumping
Turpin has a very consistent record up to 1 metre with 3 separate young riders, his records on SJI, Eventing Ireland and British Eventing speak for themselves. He has plenty of ability and has just stepped up to 1.10 very comfortably. He has shown he is able to jump out of bottomless ground and also good going!

Cross Country
Turpin is a very mannerly cross country pony, jumping both phases in a simple snaffle. He will suit someone who is able to kick on and loves the rush. He is able to show a lesser experienced rider round 80 & 90 with no bother whilst they learn the ropes of the sport. He never becomes overwhelmed by technicalities and is already confidently schooling at BE Novice/ EI110 level. Once again, ground is no factor to Turpin and will jump as well on good ground as he does a bog.

Hunting
Turpin is the hunting pony of dreams. There is no country he cannot cross and no ground he can’t cover. He has hunted with Rockwood Harriers, Readyfield Bloodhounds, East Antrim Harriers, East Clare Harriers and North Tipperary Foxhounds. He has also completed the Ballycommon ride twice with 2 separate riders.

Extra Features
Turpin has been a vital member of the East Antrim pony club teams in 2023/2024 being in a winning PC90 eventing team and also a winning PC100 show jumping team.
Also, to add to Turpin’s versatility, Turpin is also broken to drive! He doesn’t even wear blinkers, he’s a very happy pony trotting down the lanes taking in the sights!

Troy works and rides lovely in the school, moves evenly over his back and is always in a snaffle.

In my opinion he would rock the hunter jumper/American equation world. He is ultra correct as a model, with movement, rideability ,natural boldness and beautiful head he could definitely be a HOYS worker candidate.
