• I'm looking for a horse to join our 2 other geldings for me to have fun on and to continue riding.
• Must be safe and easy to do, not spooky.
• Would have to be a gelding, age immaterial, but probably under 18.

I have ridden all my life, to include racing (p to p and on the flat), eventing, moderate dressage, SJ and even polo and polocrosse. But time has now caught up with me and I need a safe conveyance to keep me riding. I ride every day at the moment, but my special horse had to be put to sleep last week and I need to fill his shoes.



Whoever comes here to be with me would have wonderful private facilities, to include loads of off road riding, beautiful village scenery to admire. We have lots of old grassland grazing and huge stables, one of which is empty now.



He must load and travel alone, (I often go out alone) to join others hacking in the local forest. I take horses to the beach to enjoy Norfolk's lovely Holkham. My only problem is I don't have shed loads of money to buy my new best friend.

Winterfold, stable name Jack, has the most lovely nature and sweet personality. He loves lots of fuss and attention and is easygoing and uncomplicated .During his time with us he has taken on the task of partnering with a young rider straight off of ponies and has been patient and safe and sensible throughout, bringing her on to be a confident and more skilled rider.

At the yard he is a firm favourite with both humans and horses. He is happy to be kept in or go out. He is good to catch, load, travel, bath, clip. Good with farrier (Fronts shod) and with the vet and vaccines (Up to date and 5 stage vetting passed August 2025), good with the dentist (up to date), with saddle fitter (6 monthly and just done) No vices, no medical issues. No lumps or bumps.

Hacks alone and in company. He loves hacking out! Excellent stable manners and also excellent in hand. Used to farm machinery and a busy environment. He has a great jump with lots of scope having jumped over an metre during his time with us and has 3 lovely paces. We have taken him out to arena hires, and events and he is calm and easy going throughout and always catches the judges eye, he's a very handsome chap with a very sweet and charming character. He is an excellent all rounder and has so much potential.

Jack is only for sale to the right home and only due to our change in circumstances forcing a family move to Australia and we sadly cannot take him with us.

Kasanova is a lovely horse looking for his next home.

Previously jumped up to Foxhunter level and has competed up to 1.10m with me. I've schooled him around 1.20m fences and he has plenty of scope. He has competed BSJA, NSEA, Riding Club and Unaff, qualified for champs with British riding club as well as many BS qualifications. He enjoys his jumping and is brave and willing.

He schools nicely on the flat with three lovely paces and I think he'd do very well in a dressage home. Equally, he would make a fantastic hunter or team chaser as he absolutely loves being in a herd environment and is bold and confident when out with company.

He hacks well in company and is happy going through open fields, remaining calm and sensible. He can be a little nervous hacking alone and looks to his rider for confidence, so he would suit a competent rider rather than a novice or nervous one.

He is currently barefoot (previously shod) and stands perfectly for the farrier. He is good to handle and comes back into work very easily after time off. He has had the last couple of months fairly quiet due to my work commitments and is currently back in light work.

Travels well and happily stands on box- travelled in a 3.5/4.5/7.5. He does occasionally put up a small fight- quickly gives up never takes more than 5 mins (it is very very rare he wont load first time)

Being completely honest, he does need sedating to clip as he finds it very ticklish. He also has annual hock injections and has a bone chip in one hock. When maintained, this causes him no issues and has never stopped him doing his job.

There is a blip on his BS record where he and I simply didn't gel, but this doesn't reflect him.

This is a very genuine sale due to rider circumstances and lack of time. Looking for the right home where he can be enjoyed and thrive.
