**PLEASE READ PRICE REDUCED DRAMATICALLY BY HALF AFTER SMALL FINDINGS OF ARTHRITIC CHANGES ON VETTING** her whole history is known to me from being backed, she’s never had a lame day, flew through a 5stage vetting a yr and a half ago, 1/2 / 10ths lame on flexion infront, and not 100% either way on the circle on concrete. Sound to ride, and let’s be honest, who is doing flexion tests and trotting on a 10m circle on concrete daily? She has never been medicated, owner reluctant to begin medicating to ‘get her through’ a vetting, when she has many years before there is a need to medicate.
Daisy is a stunning dapple grey mare with a black mane. She has a beautiful head, and is a well put together substantial model of a horse. She is 9yo and 16hh, she is perfect if you’re looking for a small horse but like to have plenty of length of neck and a good shoulder to have Infront of you!
Daisy is well schooled on the flat, she is lovely down the rein and has an understanding of lateral work. She is the kind of horse you can really get your leg on and ride up to the bridle. She has a big swinging trot and a lovely armchair canter. She has been to UA dressage shows and is v good in the boards and rises to the occasion! She is a horse with lots of presence, she really fills the eye.
Daisy has attended pole clinics and is happy to work and focus in the school along side other horses. She has competed at UA one day events with a teenager (80), always posting a sweet dressage test and has been double clear. Daisy has a lovely jump, she has been to sj shows, arena hires and xc schooling. She has proven to be careful over a pole, She can be a little looky at new fillers in the showjumping so for this reason would not be suitable for a total novice or a v nervous rider as a show jumper or event horse.
Daisy is good to hack alone or in company. . She is v good in traffic, she has had tractors pass her and has been immaculately behaved.
She is not mareish to handle or to ride. She does not buck nap or rear. She does not spook horrendously, but typical of a competition horse she is not totally a dobbin.
Daisy has attended the Fernie fun ride, she was brilliantly behaved and not atall phased by other horses coming and going past. She is ridden in a snaffle.
She is good to load, travel, clip, shoe.
Daisy is available for any vet inspection. No vices, no health issues. Lovely mare who will excel in dressage/showing/hunting, an easy horse to have around the yard!
She is on sale behalf of an owner due to ill health and has spent the last year as a mature ladies dressage horse, she has attended clinics, she has attended stay away camps and done lots of hacking and been a very well loved girl. She is very affectionate and loves attention and cuddles. A very very sad sale.
