TBS Cheeky Cailin is a beautiful model of a pedigree, registered connemara (full green passport) by the super Connemara showjumper Cheeky Bobby Sparrow and has class 1 breeding throughout. She is N/HW (carrier but not affected).

Standing at 15.1hh, she has still some growing left to do and will fill out. I imagine she will finish closer to 15.2hh.

I imported her 18 months ago as a 4 year old from Ireland and have slowly and correctly brought her on since. She has mostly hacked, but has also done plenty of arena hires, pony club rallies, clinics, lessons, clear rounds etc as well as some showjumping and arena XC competitions. She is always keen to come out and play - never sick or sorry, and has no veterinary history and not been mareish. Passed vetting on purchase in 2025.

As a young horse, the first consideration has always been for her longevity and her future, to ensure that she is not rushed or spoilt or overdone. She was bought for myself to keep, but unfortunately a serious lack of time has lead me to look for a new home for her. Up to date with vaccinations, worm counts, teeth and back. Mostly ridden by myself (adult) but also ridden by my daughter (13) and friend's daughter (15) for PC rallies and camp days; she would make a super mother/daughter/son share and can step up to play for the more adventurous/ambitious as well as equally happy to hack and go to adult clinics/lessons etc. A true allrounder.

Great to catch, clip (no sedation needed) and she loads single handed-ly (very handy for mum going out to play on her own!) She does need some patience with shoeing her hind feet, but this is improving with each farrier visit (and only when shoeing her hinds only, not trimming). Cailin has great feet and has been kept barefoot through the winter. Shod only this summer due to hard ground and riding most days. No sedation required for shoeing. Hacks alone or in company, first or last and not spooky either way, travels alone or in company. Have left her behind in the horse trailer when others have been competing in later classes without a problem but as a five year old I wouldn't leave her too long alone. Happy to turn out alone or with others, usually the bottom of the pecking order! Good in traffic, not spooky or silly. Used to farm machinery and loud noises (chainsaws, hedge trimming etc) as well as sheep, pigs, cows and loud children (including their bikes, balloons, trampolines and other scary toys!!)

Cailin is still green; she is only five years old and treated as such. Brought on slowly and correctly with thoughts of her future and longevity, she does work in an outline and is quick and keen to learn with a super sweet jump. Good to school in the field or lunge. More go than woah but is not strong - ridden in a neue schule snaffle and nicely responsive off the leg and voice with a lovely powerful but comfortable jump. She is amazing fun and thoroughly enjoys new things and always wants to please.

Due to her age, she will require a jockey who can continue her education- she is not the finished article. Cailin is not complicated or difficult to ride but like any five year old, she can have green moments and requires a consistent, correct and knowledgeable rider.

Clear out jumping on every outing and qualified for Bury Farm unaffiliated SJ Champs 2026. Happy to leave the herd out hacking or XC schooling. Never looked to bite or kick, same to ride every day or after a few weeks off.

Mouse has a lovely, laidback personality, he’s very affectionate and doesn’t get excitable. He is snaffle-mouthed and has been ridden bare back. Mouse has been mainly ridden by a teenager and a middle aged lady and will make a nice PC horse or great all rounder!

He will even look after a younger child, proving this when a 7 year old little girl took him on a hack! He is a true family pony! Mouse has also taken part in some pony days where we are based and was very well-behaved, proving to be a favourite.

He has three forward, balanced paces, is responsive to the leg and has been backed correctly. He will work in the arena and out on a hack, proving to love his jumping, both XC and SJ. He is very genuine to jump, never refuses or rushes. He goes at a nice steady, balanced pace, he hasn’t done an excessive amount of this due to his age. He hacks alone or in company (I often hack him with friends or alone) and is good with farm machinery, open spaces and dogs running around too. I have plans to take him to hound exercises this year and have all the confidence in him, it’s clear to see he would make a great hunt horse! Mouse has also been swimming in the lake on the farm, proving no issues with going in water. He has also been to the beach, where he was not strong or spooky, I cantered him on the buckle, and he was a delight at all times.

He learns very quickly and nicely pops round a small course. He would do a nice dressage test, especially catching the judges eye with his beautiful markings. We are currently trying to work on his outline at the moment but did not want to rush him with this. He has also popped some small XC jumps and has shown to be bold and keen.

He has been to arena hires, he suits either a busy or quiet yard. Never sick or sorry.

He is currently barefoot, good for the farrier and dentist. Also good to load and be handled by younger children, will also stand for hours being groomed, bathed and even clipped. Mouse is good to catch as well, would happily live in or out, he is not a fussy horse!

He would make a great mother-daughter share, pony club horse or all rounder.

A 5* home is very important for this lovely chap as he is so genuine and I would want someone to continue his education and bring out his full potential since he has so much to offer someone.

Only selling to a good home due to school commitments and limited time.

No novices/ beginners as he is young and I would like him to have the best education.

Rhubarb is an easy to do, half-appaloosa, all-rounder with a beautiful jump.

She has done local dressage competitions, SJ, XC schooling, gridwork and flatwork clinics, hunt rides, fun rides, arena hires etc. Jumping is her favourite, but she could turn her hand to all PC/RC activities. She won both SJ classes I entered at her first RC show.

She is perfect to catch, clip, shoe, dentist, physio etc. Unfazed by traffic, barking dogs, machinery, flapping bin bags etc and generally unspooky. Hacks alone or in company, unflappable around our busy yard with children on scooters, mowers, tractors etc.

Very good do-er thriving on just grass, hay and the odd carrot, will live in or out, only front shoes. In work, fully fit and ready to go.

No vices or medical history. Passed a 5-stage vetting when I bought her. Up to date with farrier, dentist, saddler, vaccines etc. Same home 3.5 years.

Those are the good things. I want to be completely honest, so these are the downsides:

She can be difficult to load. I’ve not tried her in a lorry, but it takes patience and two people to get her into the trailer. Once she’s in, she travels well. This could be improved with regular practice, I suspect.

She can be sticky/reluctant/unenthusiastic in the school – some days she’s a delight to school but others, for reasons unknown, she will decide she doesn’t fancy it. Usually, I can get past this, but it is frustrating.

She can put in the odd buck and be occasionally fizzy. This would usually happen when cantering in open spaces, especially if she’s cantering with

other horses, or on landing from a XC jump when she’s having fun. The bucks generally aren’t unseating and I think some people would find them fun, but as I’ve got older, I’ve got less brave and am too conscious of my responsibilities to my children etc to enjoy that sort of high jinks.

Comes with a full wardrobe and tack, including fairly new saddle which was bought specifically for her.

15.1hh, 8-year-old Connemara gelding. We bought him in June as a mother/daughter share, but have over-horsed our very slight 12-year-old, so we are now looking to downsize.

He is a lovely, genuine boy with plenty to offer. His real strong point is his flatwork and dressage, which he seems to genuinely enjoy. He works correctly and does a lovely dressage test. He has also been out show jumping, XC, farm rides, clinics and dressage competitions, so has plenty of experience as an all-rounder, but dressage is definitely where he shines.

He is an excellent hack, alone or in company, and his previous home used him to lead youngsters. Good in traffic and happy in open spaces.

Whilst he can be ridden by a child, he is not suitable for a novice. To get the best from him he needs a competent, confident rider.

He is good to handle in all ways and is up to date with farrier, dentist, vaccinations and worming.

He was bought with a small sarcoid on the inside of his hind leg, which he has had since he was young. His previous vets confirmed it had been checked, had never changed or grown and had never caused him any problems. Happy to discuss this fully with anyone genuinely interested. His old owner decided to leave it as it had never changed in the 5 years owned. Our plan was to also leave it alone but had been open to laser and discussed this at our vetting. The fact that it could be removed is reflected in his price. He was 5 stage vetted in June this year. No medical changes since. No injuries or issues.

He would make a lovely horse for someone wanting to focus on dressage while still enjoying hacking, clinics and a variety of other activities.

No rush to sell, priority is finding this lovely boy a lovely home. Due to work commitments he can be viewed with our instructor (number on advert) , but happy to chat with anyone seriously interested .

Ballylee Sprinter - Teddy

Teddy is a true gentleman. He has so much to give for such a young horse with three uphill lovely balanced gaits. He has scope to burn, jumping with my 9-year-old daughter everything she points him at. His still young so no novice or beginners. This boy will go very far. His so genuine and kind.
