6 years, greying buckskin, around 14.3hh.

We have owned Sephora since she was a year old and have produced her slowly.

Her grandsire is Macetero IX, a pure PRE Carthusian stallion of the Bocado line. Her sire is Mill Esplendido (15.2hh) bred at Millpark Andalusians here in the UK and her dam Ffynnonbach Ellie Aur (14.2hh) is owned by Sephora’s breeder.

True to her breed Sephora is a quick learner and has such a sweet and curious personality. She adores human contact, lots of fuss and loves nothing more than a good bum scratch!!

She is good to be shoe, walks onto a trailer or box with a little encouragement and travels brilliantly (alone or with another horse) and is up to date with vaccinations, dentist (had her only wolf tooth out) and worming.

Has mostly wintered out since being with us and is very easy to catch however for the last year has been stabled alone or next to others. She has had two periods of box rest (4 weeks each, I’ll explain later) and was perfectly behaved, she never stressed or developed any bad behaviours. She’s had a slow and quiet start to life so hasn’t developed any bad habits or fears and with reassurance has always taken things in her stride. She really is an uncomplicated horse and such a sweetheart.

Unfortunately she hasn’t made the height for my daughter so was advertised for sale last year. A 2 stage vetting revealed she had bilateral hind limb suspensory desmitis and kissing spine, likely something she was born with. She never showed any signs of pain so we were completely taken aback.

Sephora underwent surgery at the end of last year (Hambleton’s for her hind limbs and Ridings Vets for her back) and has followed a comprehensive and thorough rehab programme under her vet’s and her physio’s close eyes. Sephora has progressed perfectly since surgery, has never had any setbacks and is now ready to take someone on a fun journey. Her vet sees no reason why she shouldn’t pass a 5 stage vetting.

She was broken in by Adams Yates at AY Horsemanship last year (more Western style) and has been working well in walk and trot and hacking out alone and in company. She hasn’t done much schooling as we didn’t have the opportunity prior to surgery however she seems to be taking to it well. This is something we are working on now.

She is used to farm machinery, dogs etc and doesn’t seem phased by traffic. She has quite an inquisitive nature.

Sephora is so sweet and curious and really has a heart of gold. I’d love her to go to a home that isn’t just about bringing her on and selling her, more one that wants to get the best out of her and have fun with her.

She’s had her saddle checked recently.

Due to her age and the stage of her education I would say Sephora is still green and not suitable for a novice. She still takes reassurance from her rider.

Danni - Rising 5YO (2021) Coloured Sports Horse, 15.1h approx

Small Adult / Teenager Competition Prospect!

Danni has beautiful paces and works willingly on the flat. She is well schooled for her age and has the potential to excel in BD - she certainly has plenty of presence to catch the judges eye! She is responsive to aids, rhythmical and works softly in a consistent contact. Clean limbed and straight moving.

Danni has been hunting with us with The EDH. She shows promise for the job and has given us plenty of enjoyable days out! With a season under her belt she’d make a really classy teenager / small adults hunter. Danni will continue to hunt until sold.

She has been arena XC schooling and SJ training with us, she shows great technique over a fence and has proven to be bold and straightforward, always showing a mature attitude to her work. She is a really fun horse to ride!!

Danni is hacking alone & in company, regularly ridden in traffic and open spaces. We’ve found her reliable enough to ride out with novice children on ponies. She travels in the lorry & trailer alone or in company.

She has the versatility to suit such a variety of riders; a really promising young horse for someone to train for their chosen discipline.

Her production & education with us will continue until sold.

Super Allrounder! Josie is hunting with us with The EDH. Josie has proven herself to be a complete natural at the job! She has attended multiple busy meets including Boxing Day. She is a mannerly & uncomplicated hunter. Will stand patiently at the meet & has never been silly or strong. Josie has been ridden at the back of the field, closing gates and having a natter but she has plenty of engine to keep up with the field and cross country when you ask her to! She has jumped a variety of hunt fences and is always happy to wait her turn. She has travelled alone to meets and has been easy to manage single handedly. Josie will continue to hunt until sold.

She has been arena XC schooling, XC schooling on grass & SJ training. Josie has fantastic natural technique and is bold and straight to a fence. Josie has the potential to have a successful career Riding Club / Low Level Competition.

Josie’s education has not been focused towards flatwork therefore she would be green in this aspect, however she has a trainable brain and a willing attitude - she’s certainly quick to learn!

We’ve found her to be a very reliable hack, regularly out alone and in company. She’s been brilliant to lead our children on ponies. Ridden in traffic and open spaces. She has been on multiple beach and moorland rides, Josie is the same horse at home and away, she’s never been silly or strong!

Tom is looking for a new home through absolutely no fault of his own. He was bought in June (with a clean 5 stage vetting). Unfortunately nerves have got the best of current owner.

He’s a sweet, genuine boy who naturally takes his confidence from his rider. He needs someone who is carefree and happy to kick on, give him guidance.

Tom originally came over from Ireland and has been well handled. On the ground he is a joy — friendly, polite, loves attention, and will stand all day to be groomed or fussed. Good to load, catch and bath.

Under saddle, Tom shows all the promises to be a fantastic all rounder, whether you want a dressage or show partner or a horse to go have fun on and go hunting! He has correct flashy paces. He has lovely movement and is keen to learn.

He’s ridden in a snaffle and has a naturally willing attitude, he has it all there just now needs to go out and show off!

He hacks alone and in company, has seen all sorts of traffic, and is sensible in open spaces.

He hasn’t jumped since being purchased, but previously enjoyed it and was bold and honest when he went XC schooling before his sale.

Tom will make someone a really rewarding partner — he’s safe, sweet, and tries his best, but he’s young and needs a confident rider who can support him and help him continue developing.

Not suitable for complete novices owing to age.
