Stronghope Easter is a much-loved, green mare with all the attributes to excel at eventing, showjumping and a quality all-round horse.

She is kind and genuine. Easter is willing to learn, and has an excellent work ethic. Showing plenty of scope and carefulness towards a jump. She has all the raw ingredients to progress through the levels with the right rider.

Easter has been produced slowly due to time and work commitments as-well as limited access to an arena. Despite this, she has gained a wealth of valuable life experience. She has hacked extensively over open moorland, rough terrain, through streams and rivers, giving her a sensible and confident outlook.

She has attended fun rides, cubbing and a small amount of showjumping and cross country schooling.

Easter hacks alone or in company, and is happy to be led from another horse. She is also good in traffic and around farm machinery.

Easter is still green when it comes to schooling in an arena due to an inconsistent, minimal workload rather than any fault of her own. She would therefore benefit from a competent, confident rider to continue her education. This is reflected in her price.

This is a genuine and heartbreaking sale due to changes in work and life commitments, leaving me without the time this special mare deserves. I have every confidence that, in the right home, Easter has an incredibly bright future ahead of her.

Indie is a beautiful stamp of a mare with excellent conformation. She is absolutely bred in the purple with some of the most sort after blood lines in the sport to include Caretino, Cor De La Bryere, Capitol, Animo and Ustinov and Landgraf, just to name a few!

A lovely, quality, intelligent mare with three balanced paces. She has lovely cadence to her trot and a ground covering canter. She really catches the eye with her 4 white socks. 

She has made a successful start to her BD career this summer and in just a few outings has gained her qualifications for the Petplan Area Festivals/BD Regional finals, achieving some good scores and placings at Prelim sliver, as well as positive comments under list 1 judges. 

Indie is showing a real talent for jumping, throwing a classic bascule shape over a fence. She looks to have all the scope required to progress up the levels in BE/BS. 

She has also XC schooled and took to it like a duck to water! She jumps ditches, steps, water and she was well behaved in an open space with other horses using the facility (vid of her first time over xc fences). 
Snaffle mouthed at all times.

She hacks out alone and in company and is good in traffic. She is easy to handle, good to catch, wash, shoe, loads in a lorry and a trailer and travels well. Impeccably behaved when out and about at shows. No vices. Very level headed, not sharp or strong. 

Reluctant sale due to pregnancy. She is fit and ready to go. She’s currently being ridden and competed by the riders who work for me (hence why there’s a man riding, please don’t be put off, she would be fine for a small female rider too). If not sold she will affiliate BS and compete over winter in preparation for the BE season next spring.

George has been with me for the last 5 years, and I backed him myself so know him inside out. He is a lovely horse with plenty of potential and would really excel in the show ring with the right person. Would be a great contender for the opens next season.

What he has done:

• Will hack with someone on foot/cycling alongside

• Has been to a handful of shows and has proven to do well

George can be a little nappy in the workers ring as he likes company and can want to head back towards the gate (has only done 2/3 attempts). He needs reassurance, but will try for his rider. He is a horse who does best with someone who is confident and consistent.

George is still maturing mentally and physically, but he has improved year on year. He can be left for weeks and ridden as though he was ridden yesterday.

He has carried a tiny rider who he looked after very well and has also been ridden by less confident/experienced riders. However, can sometimes test his rider so i feel he would be best suited to someone with some experience who can be kind but firm and give him the reassurance and consistency he needs.

He is a genuine, willing horse who will try for you when he trusts you.

George currently travels alone in a single trailer. He can sometimes be unsure when loading, particularly away from home, and may stand on the ramp and take his time before loading. He is not dangerous or silly, and will load for food without getting stressed.

He loads much better at home, and I feel this is something that would continue to improve with regular practice and experience. I think he would also be happier travelling in company, as I don’t currently leave him standing alone on the trailer.

Owned since she was three years old, she has lived in a small mixed herd and has received regular handling and grooming. She can be a little wary around her legs, but with consistent, confident handling she continues to improve and gain confidence.

She has recently started going out for in-hand walks, where she has encountered traffic, dogs, walkers, houses and farm machinery. She approaches new situations with confidence and curiosity, often showing a natural willingness to go forward and lead.
