Capparoe Kieran 15.2 Skewbald Irish Cross 4 year old, 2019 , (5 in May)
A sane and sensible sort, with a genuine and straightforward outlook on life. He has a great temperament and would suit so many. He is laid back for an amateur, but has the ability to go on grass roots eventing, A proper Irish type, with clean legs, and a real leg in each corner. This sort is getting hard to find. He has done dressage, showjumping and training events.
Would be ideal for Badminton grass roots, or for an amateur who wants a stress-free horse to feel safe on whilst doing 80 - 100s, but would, with education and time, have the ability to go to Novice. A good cross-country horse, gives everything a go, great with water, ditches and steps, as well as skinnies.
Good to hack alone or in company, superb in open spaces and traffic. Totally feels very solid underneath you, despite his young age, is unfazed by rider errors, and has been ridden by a number of riders with all different abilities. They have all found him easy and straightforward. Definately does not need daily work to keep him sane, and a joy to have at home, will live in or out.
Full up 15.2
Unspoilt beautiful stunning young horse who has been produced slowly with plenty of time to grow
He has been in full work attending a few arena hires / local dressage competitions and pony club cross country competitions. He has proven to be lovely forward but steady, and a safe ride with plenty of enthusiasm and go get attitude. He has had time to mature and carry on growing into his body and strengthen up.
We feel Tonto could excel in dressage, showjumping and eventing as although he does not have any recorded breeding, he is extremely level headed with a "can do" attitude to work. His day to day attitude is excellent, with a lovely temperament in the stable . Extremely kind and loving.
His paces - he is balanced which makes him easy to work with and his uphill canter is especially floaty and light. A naturally athletic horse, he has a brilliant walk, trot and canter. We feel he would be capable in BE, and also BD and BSJA. He has a competitive future ahead of him, in all disciplines.
Good to box, shoe and clip.
