She’s out of my 3* event horse of a lifetime (Clover Hill) by the 3* GP showjumping stallion Tayvale Hunky Dory who was part of the winning Nations Cup team with James Smith (Balou du Rouet x Master Imp).

Tilly was expertly backed by a 5* rider last year and has been professionally brought back into work. She has 3 balanced, uphill paces.

Could easily turn her hoof to anything -

Event horse, jumper, show hack, working hunter. She is bred beautifully for many jobs.

She’s currently standing 15.3.

She is green but showing great potential and temperament. Due to her age and experience, is not suitable for a novice.

She has been to 2 arena hires and behaved immaculately. Has seen XC fences and had a dressage lesson with Ian Woodhead.

Reluctant sad sale of our friendly boy Ollie,

Ollie is the friendliest sweetest boy, 15’1 piebald gelding 13yr old cob, up to date with farrier(trim), worming, teeth and vaccines, happy to live in or out with mares or geldings, travels and loads well- lives off fresh air so a very good doer.

Ollie lacks confidence under saddle and is therefore too sharp for my nervous daughter who he was bought for and have had to realistically face the fact they are not the correct fit for each other. However he has come on leaps and bounds the last 6 months he is never nasty, he does not rear or buck, just a tad nervous, quirky but good fun for a capable rider. He is so able if he had the correct person consistently to be a fantastic allrounder and has a great trainable attitude and really aims to please, tries his hardest and loves to hack.

So on the basis of being green in the arena he is cheaper than he should/could be and will need a capable, confident, kind rider that can sit to a spook and reassure him that life is ok, the drain doesn’t have a monster in it and there are no ghosts in the hedge.🙄🤣🙈

Knappside Phantom X is a super easy and kind horse. Whilst being a late foal (10th August) he has a mature build, and a great can do attitude, leading the herd past anything new. Good to wear rugs, spray with fly spray, groom, lead and has had a bath using the hose. Good for the farrier, fully vaccinated, and passported with TGCA as a native.

Phantom should excel in any discipline, and is very striking looking, and his dam was a great show jumper.

Blue is a 15.2hh 7yo Irish Draught x Connemara gelding. He has been owned for the last two years by a teenage rider and has done a variety of things in that time including showjumping, dressage, arena eventing, ODEs, XC schooling and plenty of hacking.

He is currently competing at 80cm and is schooling 90cm+. He has won at arena eventing and unaffiliated dressage, had numerous placings unaffiliated showjumping and has also been placed at an unaffiliated ODE, where he had the best dressage score.

He’s more woah than go, with a chilled, sensible and laid-back attitude to life. He schools nicely on the flat and is straightforward to jump, and would really suit someone looking for a safe, steady type who doesn’t need riding every day. He hacks alone and in company, is great in traffic and sensible in open spaces. He is also often used to ride and lead.

Blue is easy to have around and good to shoe, clip, load and travel. He happily lives in or out and is used to living with others. Having previously been kept on livery at a riding school, he is well used to a busy yard environment including children, dogs, sheep and farm machinery. I am searching for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane (realistically, I will generally ride 3-4 times a week).

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics. I will at times want to hack alone but will also hack alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us & have all year turnout (stabled overnight during winter). I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

What can we say about Teddy.....!! He is a typical balshy welsh, yet a joy to handle in all ways. He has done pony club, hunting, cross country, hunter trials, beach rides, showjumping, showing and fancy dress - my daughter is able to ride him with just a head collar, however he is not a first pony and is strong as you would expect from his breed.

He is quiet and looks after his rider if you are inexperienced, then steps up when required. Could be a mother daughter share.

He is quick round a course, has been jumping 80cm comfortably with my daughter

He is good in all ways (dentist, farrier, clipping) Selling due to my daughter growing out of him and he could give so much more than what he's doing at the moment. You will find it hard to find a horse as good as Teddy - Good home important.
