Leo is extremely easy on the eye and a loveable character to have around. he is always happy to see you and will stand be groomed all day long. He is Never sick or sorry and is easy to have around.

He is currently just lightly hacking out. However, He is ready to now have a proper job and start his new career. He has had kissing spine surgery, which all went well and had all his rehabilitation done properly and slowly. I feel he is now ready and will really excel in the right experienced home.

6 yr old 16.2 bay TB gelding, by Imperial Monarch. Raced point to point 4 times in Ireland 2023 but his heart was not in it. Kind, quiet, intelligent, excellent stable manners and willing to learn.

Genuine reason for sale; I bought him locally as a project in January during the long term lameness of my medium dressage horse and he’s since been out on loan over the summer with a super chap in Newton Abbott, he’s due back at the end of October. Paddy is easy to do in all ways, has 3 lovely paces, works nicely in the school and genuinely wants to learn. I’ve taken him out to a local clinics on my own and competed both BD and unaffiliated, each time he behaved impeccably, scoring mid 60s, and in the ribbons.

He hacks alone and in company, both road and Dartmoor, goes first or last, good with large traffic, tractors, coaches etc, can be a little looky at odd things (recycling bins, cones) but he does go past nicely, he is not nasty or unsafe but he is still a little green.

Jumping is not my thing so I cannot vouch for his ability; on the lunge he has been over poles and a small cavaletti in the school, which he took in his stride. Given his age, and stage of development, he is not for a complete novice, but I suspect he will flourish in the right hands with continued education. Price reflects some minor vet history (full details will be disclosed, so please call to discuss, nothing scary) and a prompt sale to the right home, as we have no room for him to return to our yard, therefore I would consider LWVTB to knowledgable, pre-vetted owners.

Great to clip, shoe, bath, turnout etc, no vices, travels well in trailer and lorry, a blank canvass for someone to enjoy. Stands quietly to be groomed, plaited, fussed, he loves attention. Up to date with teeth, back, worming and vaccinations. He deserves a lovely home for life, so no dealers please, the right home is much more important than price.
