Looking for a unicorn? He may well be right here!
Meet ‘Danny’ – A super fun and straightforward approx. 15hh, 11yo, connie x Irish gelding.
No lumps / bumps / blemishes nor vices
Danny is a lovely horse to have around and low maintenance to own. Barefoot, easy to catch, no problem to load, travels well, kind and easy in the stable, loves to please, and most importantly… a sheer joy to be around who’s extremely reliable.

Danny is the definition of fun!! Very forward ride who may look ‘buzzy’ but has the most impeccable , well oiled brakes with the most sane mannerisms! Never bucks , rears, bolts , spins etc ! Forward yes , sane YES!

Works sweetly on the flat! Can make a very nice shape and would do a lovely test , if you have a bit of patience. I certainly don’t! I think Danny knows I’m a forward thinking as him! I’m like a child in a sweet shop, having an absolute ball! Flashy paces and a mouth like melted butter! He’s such a dude

Dan loves to jump! He never says no, loves the job, so rideable and so much fun!! A regular ribbon collector in the 70cm / 80cm / 90cm at unaffiliated shows. Gives the kids the world of fun. Danny is super bold out XC , he’s great fun and always fills the rider with confidence. Taken out in a snaffle , perfect mannerisms at shows!

Danny loves funrides and the beach is a favourite of his! Used to going in big group , equally will go around a funride on his own. Also much enjoys a days hunting!!

He’s my yard reliable to hack out! Goes out alone or in company and is always consistently reliable and easy. Not at all phased by traffic, golden in open spaces! I hack him for hours paying no attention, busy on my phone , in a world of my own ! The kids have literal arguments over who is going to ride him ….. so yes we all love and adore him however I’m ready for someone to buy him now and me not be the bad person amongst the girls!

Sadly been outgrown, this was only reason for sale.

He would suit a keen teen or a small adult who likes the fun but needs the sane type!

Open to any viewing / vetting

'Millie' - The BFG. 17'2 Registered Shire Mare. Fantastic lines both sides

Safe, sane & sensible !! Exactly what you would expect of this gentle natured bred.

Millie is the definition of a true weight carrier and substantial from head to toe. Lots of mane, tail and striking white feathers

Ideal for a novice or RDA type environment. Would make a sweet heart of a therapy horse.

A real heart turner who could also be a main attraction at a farm park or petting farm.

She's previously been used for a novice husband to learn to ride and join his wife hacking on the weekends.

With is she's kept ticking over by our lightweight young riders and is always the 'go to' ride for offering a sensible lead to the babies.

Quite literally lives his life in the slow lane and is happy to live in out or wherever easiest for her family

Perfect in the heaviest traffic and happy to hack alone aswell as in company. Has met busses and lorries as well as farm yard machinery

Will ride i the arena very sweetly and pop a small cross but of course is no show jumper or badminton prospect

For a big horse she is willing to try in the arena and always brings a smile to our faces up and down the paces walk, trot and canter.

Excellent to catch lead and tie up for fuss and attention.

Snaffle mouthed

Great to catch and turns out in a mixed herd. For a big girl she's not at all a bully and infact would rather avoid confrontation.

Loads and travels perfectly in a lorry and trailer. Stands like a dream and very balanced

Good with the farrier currently bare foot. Good strong feet and could continue being ridden unshod

Sold with her complete saddle and bridle - so is literally ready to get on and go !! Take her home and start to enjoy

Wish  - 16hh Approx, 15yr old Unregistered Warmblood Type mare.Passported / Microchipped

A hard to come by sort who is easy on the pocket and beautiful to the eye.

Wish is currently being advertised as a summer project for someone to bring back into full work or also suitable as a field companion / broody

Said to have had a successful allrounder ridden career as a youngster - Wish has come to us following the recent passing of her elderly owner and family are sadly not 'horsey' to keep her on. The right home is important for us for this reason.

Until recently she had lived out 24/7 as a field ornament with two other mares. The most strenuous part of her day was finding her mum for her daily dose of carrots and scratches.

Since coming to us she's accepted separation from the field mates very well. She's now living in stabled with no vices. Munching her Haynets and watching the world go by.

She's seen our farrier for a trim and was willing and accepting.

We have started gently introducing her back to tack. She's been sat on and ridden around the yard and in the small indoor arena at walk at trot.

She's green but trainable. Please no completely novices if looking for a ridden project as she will require the investment of some time to get the best out of her.

Sadly we don't have enough stables, staff or hours in the day to continue her education with us but she will be worked with every day with us until her new family is sought.

Wish has previous bred a foal and we are told she was a great mum

Loaded and travelled well to us on a trailer.

Wormed to date and deloused

No illness, ailments or medial conditions
No loans or trials sorry

Classy 16hh, 10yo, AES mare - ‘Ravens Sagacious Glory’
Clean five stage vetting from this year
No lumps or bumps / injuries / ailments / nor vices

Kind and empathetic little mare on the ground. Outstanding mannerisms. Never any bother to clip, shoe, load , travel, catch, handle etc - she is absolutely golden. Handled and ridden daily by a 13 year old

Turns out alone or in a mixed herd and is never any bother. Comes to call and is easy to have on any yard. Always settled beautifully at stay away shows

Loves to go on beach and fun rides

Hunted on an extremely busy ladies day with The Shropshire - over 85 mounted , her first time on the field and she was outstanding. Jumped absolutely everything , stood patiently, unpaused by the hounds , never once strong , went on all day like an absolute diamond and gave me the best days hunting I’ve ever had in my life

Sage is absolutely stunning on the flat. A breath taking mover who moved for fun! Could do with some tweaking here and there but dressage isn’t my thing so consequently, I’ve never made it hers! Has a big trot paired with a a smaller , adjustable , uphill canter. Has done unaffiliated stressage on the odd occasion I’ve been blackmailed to take part and always come away with a thrilly. Auto changes installed. Forward mare who likes a still rider but equally likes to be ridden and feel your leg , she’s not for a percher, she likes a rider. Very obedient up and down the transitions

Jumping - well where do I start? My word this mare can jump!! She has a huge very scopey jump and is absolutely bold as brass. Picked up numerous placings at cricklands in big and quick classes , I’ve never not had a place on her at unaffiliated up to 90cm. Is now ready to go BS. Jumps open water trays , pops bigger fences at home. A touch low mileage for her age only due to previous owner circumstances. This mare would skip around a 70cm or go a jump a fox with the right jockey. Very easy to ride around a set of fences and although very careful, is very forgiving. Happy to jump around steady or you can put your foot in the gas if you’re as competitive as me who can’t possibly just go for the steady clear!

Jumps XC with scope to burn. She loves that job! Bold over hedges , drops , all rustics etc. never strong not silly and has plenty jump. She’d be competitive out eventing should new owner desire , big solid fences aren’t really for me!

To hack out - well I’ve never had a mare like this in my life to hack out!! So so reliable and bold in all types of traffic and open spaces. She goes alone or in company. The kids ride her to give me a lead on the breakers. She’s ridden daily along a 60mph road and she doesn’t flinch. Stands at the mountain block etc

Too many show venues , funrides, etc to name
All riding club activities at Torfaen Riding Club

Most recent venues are The David Broome Event Centre and Ponderosa Equestrian Centre

All history is known
Had a foal which a friend of mine still has. Was an excellent mum and textbook to get in foal producing a huge filly with the same desirable temperament

This mare is my own personal horse. I first had her on loan when I was 18 years old (6years ago). I now own her myself which was all I ever dreamed of. However she’s always been too small for me , I have my own yard with lots of paying clients and opportunities as well as another of my own out on the circuit taking so much time. Therefore after much thought I have decided I need to let her go. However I’m in no rush and all homes will be vetted. Open to re vet and x-rays

She’s a mare that needs to be in work , she can be sensitive and although is good as gold she would absolutely hate someone banging around up there! Shes a mare that deserves a nice rider on top.

Until she sells I will start to BS her and will look to show her in some county shows this summer as a worker / riding horse

Proud to introduce to the market the very classy , ‘Wilma’ - stunning 16.2hh, 12yo, KWPN mare. No lump / bumps / nor injuries

Wilma is on sales livery with me due to her lovely owner’s change in circumstances. This was a tough decision and they’d like to stay in touch.

She is shining from head to toe, a real classy , well put together model. Up to date with farrier, teeth, jabs, working … fit, in work, and ready for a summer of fun!

Wilma is kind in the ground , not at all marish. She can be a little rude given the opportunity. I’ve found this to be more a settling in thing so you do need to be firm with her. That said, she has been a young teens horse the last couple of years and is handled daily by a 13 year old here with me without any issue. Lives in or out , really low maintenance mare to have around and no hassle to have on the yard. Loads and travels well and is a firm favourite amongst my yard girls

We’ve nicknamed ‘Wilma’ the dancing diva of the yard. She is really beautiful on the flat. She certainly knows her job when she steps inside those white boards. Numerous ribbons collected with her current owner. Established changes , self sufficient in carriage , obedient up and down the transitions , responsive to the leg , etc - a very established little horse! Who’s beautiful to look at to go with it!!

Wilma loves to jump! Never says no! Real forgiving and not offended by a miss. Knows the job through and through ! Schools around a metre with ease , with scope for a lot more. Again, numerous unaffiliated wins and placings and lots of experience at riding club level etc. very rideable around a set of fences , real easy to shorten. Will go long or run in deep, a genuine mare who if she can jump you out of trouble , she certainly will. Helpful and commercial type

I had great fun XC schooling with her. She never looked at a single thing and gave me the most straightforward of rides around. Jumping done drops, hedges , rustics etc! Worked beautifully in the open spaces and was never once silly. Again, she’s done lots of this with her teen jockey. As well as funrides and beach rides , which she absolutely loves!!

Hacking is one of her favourites!! Alone or in company , in the heaviest of traffic etc! Forward type who likes to walk out but again never silly and always my yard go to when hacking. The yard girls also use her at the moment to give me a lead when I’m on the breakers. We will certainly miss her when she’s finds her new home

The type of mare to do whatever you desire her to do. She’s just happy to be being worked and enjoyed !

Not for a novice as she is a forward and responsive mare but by no means sharp or silly etc, real straightforward type
