Aredis Yorkshire Rose (Rosie) is a stunning mare with a temperament to match — friendly, confident, and always looking after her rider. She hacks out safely (I'd never say bomb-proof, but she's close) and enjoys company, but as a dominant mare she’s best suited to a capable, experienced rider rather than a complete novice.

She’s currently in light work after a winter break and just needs her fitness building. She enjoys variety in her work, especially hacking or schooling away from home. She lives out in a mixed herd in summer and in at night in winter.

Rosie is up to date with the farrier, dentist, and vaccinations. She has a slight foot imbalance, easily managed by her farrier, and a small cosmetic scar on her left hind.

This is a very sad sale due to lack of time and rider injury, and finding her a happy, loving home is my priority.

Ernie is the coolest guy. He takes everything in his stride and just wants to please!

He loves to jump, very confident, and a super fun ride cross country. He has previously competed at local shows and working hunter classes. Very good in busy environments, he loves to go out and about and would thrive in a competitive home. He shows a lot of scope and his attitude to work is incredibly positive and willing. Good to hack alone or in company. Snaffle mouthed at all times and working nicely on the flat with 3 balanced paces .

A very friendly and easy little horse on the floor , not a bad bone in his body.

He is a 5 yr old and I would like to see him produced further as I think he has a lot of potential to be a superb eventing / working hunter / show jump prospect. Therefore no novices please .

Currently standing a smidge under 15h with growing and filling out to do, Reuben is a 4 year old, registered Connemara gelding. N/N

He is an incredibly happy chap, always smiling and pleased to be involved with anything going on, he has a kind, willing temperament with plenty of character without being bolshy with it. 

Reuben arrived unbroken from Ireland in September, he was well handled and so we did a little bit of work starting him off on the groundwork pre backing, and then he went out in the field with me at home for a couple of months to relax and grow a bit. 

He came back in onto the yard about a month ago like he had never left (I think he was glad to be back out in the field with his lad mates, those mares at home certainly kept him in his place) and he has been a joy and great fun to work with as we have progressed with him. 

He is a very good boy to catch, in fact he’s always the first over and the one that gets right in the way when you are poo picking, he leads in from the field  like a good ‘un (he leads in on his own or in a bunch), he ties up patiently on the yard and adores a brush and a fuss, he picks his feet up extremely politely and is great to tack up. 

Reuben works very nicely on the long reins around the farm and has been mooching around on them in the school while others have been working, he doesn’t bat an eyelid at standing patiently while I am videoing someone else and stuff. He has been out on the XC in hand and has had a pop up and down the steps and through the water.

He is hacking out nicely, he’s very happy either leading the way, tootling along behind or riding upsides his pal, he does everything with a smile on his face. He is obviously green and wobbly at times as he has only just started his education under saddle, however he gives you a very safe feeling and is willing and forward without being sharp or too quick, you can get your leg on him and give him direction and he is very willing. He has been in the arena a handful of times as I don’t like to ‘school’ the babies too early in their careers, I feel they should be out hacking, learning and strengthening before they go round in endless circles, so the pictures of him in the arena are from the few times he has been in there.

 At the start of your ride, Reuben stands like an absolute rock at the mounting block and doesn’t move off until you ask him to and he is good to get on after he has had a couple of days off, no need for lunging or anything before you ride him. 

I have videos of him doing his first canters in the school and out hacking and he was a very good boy, no thoughts in his head of naughtiness. 

Reuben is a very correct stamp of a Connemara, he has no lumps or bumps and is good enough to show either plaited or natural and would also be a super Working Hunter stamp. 

A fabulous all round, great looking, friendly, willing package, Reubens ideal human would  be a confident, experienced person looking for a fun, willing partner who hasn’t been rushed but has all the basics in place, to bring on for all BD/Cotswold Cup/PC/RC activities and in the future, once he has learnt a little more, I’d say he will be a fabulous mother/daughter share. 

Added to all the fabulousness listed above, he is a dude to have around the yard with his cute face and outgoing person and he is, of course, a FABULOUS colour! Win win all round I say!

An incredibly sad sale of my young ISH Luna. I bought her in Northern Ireland two years ago and she has been slowly and carefully produced since then with her future in mind.

She has 3 lovely, active paces, working correctly in all, with basic changes and lateral movements. She does a smart test, is soft and light in the mouth with alot more to come.

She has an incredible jump, very careful and has endless scope, would easily jump top tracks in time. Lightly showjumped over the summer, jumping double clears at 100 unregistered as a 5 year old.

Has cross country schooled and jumped everything, ditches, water, steps, skinnies ext and loved it. Snaffle mouthed at all times.

She has hacked over all terrains- beaches/woods/fields/roads and is so much fun. Hacks alone or in company and never gets silly. Originally imported from Ireland as a 4yo, Finn was beautifully produced by Natalie, who owned him for three years. During that time he competed successfully at BE80/BE90 and in the Cotswold Cup, gaining multiple top three placings, qualifying for the Championship and finishing 7th in the league.
