Sannan Valley Sparkle, who has been a key part of the Blossom Stud team for over five years.

Sannan Valley Sparkle is a top-flight JA pony who has risen through the ranks from novice to competing at the highest levels. Her impressive record includes qualifying for the
Royal Highland Show,
HOYS,
Hickstead,
the Nationals,
Scope.

This year alone, she amazed crowds with her turna winning classes at the English Home Pony and and has previously been a winner in Ireland and in HOYS qualifiers.

She is exceptionally fast across the ground and quick in her turns.

Beyond her performance, she is incredibly sweet in the box, kind, and easy to work with. Would lookafter a young rider at lower hights

As many of you know, Alex has an amazing team of horses for Children on Horses. We have made the decision to conclude our time in 138s early to focus on European teams over the next few years. While Sparkle is a phenomenal athlete, we have found that she prefers a more relaxed riding style, similar to when she was campaigned by Henry, where she is given the space to figure things out herself.

If you are interested in learning more about this special pony, please let me know.

Connemara - Dun - Gelding - 8 years - 148cm

Gorgeous 148cm Connemara Gelding, 8 yrs old; exceptional looking pony.

Aldo is a beautiful Connemara gelding who was bought as a 6-year-old and produced by my teenage daughter. He is well mannered, affectionate, loves attention and has the scope to be highly competitive.

Produced by a teenager, Aldo is safe to handle by anyone and loves to be groomed. He adores attention and is very safe to work with in the stable. He has done a bit of everything: show jumping, hunting, pony club, hacking, and fun rides. Straightforward to load, shoe, clip and travel.

He would suit a child, teen or adult wanting to progress in show jumping, hunting, eventing or WHP, or a Pony Club home looking for a safe and honest pony.

This is a special pony and a reluctant sale so right home is essential. Aldo is only available due to my daughter moving onto horses, so please no timewasters. Plenty of photos and videos available on request.

The most heartbreaking sale for a once in a lifetime pony.

Apollo is an extremely competitive 148 by the prolific stallion Ricardo Z

Apollo needs no introduction to the circuit he is the sweetest most honest pony who only wants to please

He has gone from strength to strength over the last 12 months, finding it very easy meaning he is still very much in points and has not been overjumped.

He has taken my once very nervous daughter from jumping british novice to jumping the Newcomers final at hoys 2025 clear with much success along the way.

He has masses of scope and bravery and we have only touched the surface of his ability this year, I have no doubt he is a future top track pony.

Saying that he is never sharp or silly, always very sensible

-has newcomer foxhunter and JC clears for 2026
-WINNER bliss of london onley grounds
-super consistent in hoys qualifiers

We have had Cookie since he was 4yr old and has been produced slowly with the aim of qualifying for the big shows in 6&7 yr old classes with my daughter who is 12…

From the get go he showed us to be a real gent of a character around home and away…

We knew early doors that he had loads of scope and ability and was very brave and honest…

We ended up competing him sooner than expected last year as our other pony was out of action, and he really stepped up to the mark.

He came second on his first day eventing last summer in the U12 class in PC .He has since gone on to numerous competitions always competitive….

We registered him this year in SJI and measured him in as 148 in January, jumping clear in the 1M class first day out…

I can’t say enough about this fella and he really is a special find, a family pet that will hunt, pony club, do happy hacking, jump120 course fences, jump anything he is faced to xcountry and score high in dressage….

Pure bred Connie, with Mirah Junior sire and dam by Templebrady Fear Bui….

Clean vet cert, no vices….

Reason for sale is no fault of the pony, but genuine reason from Dad and Daughter.

6yo Mare | 151cm | Big Star x Diarado Potential for measuring in with a professional.

A truly exceptional young mare combining world-class breeding with genuine talent, presence, and scope.

By the legendary Olympic Champion Big Star and out of a Diarado mare, she offers an outstanding blend of blood, technique, and modern athletic type.

Standing approximately 151cm (still slightly bum-high and growing), she is currently:

  • Jumping 1.05m BS Double Clear
  • Comfortably schooling 1.20m at home
  • Showing scope and quality for significantly bigger tracks

Naturally brave, intelligent, and beautifully rideable — she is careful and honest to a fence, yet bold and uncomplicated. Never spooky, always willing, and with the genuine temperament that makes a top-class small horse.

She has balanced, athletic paces and a light, elegant way of going. A very pretty, modern model with quality throughout.

Still young and relatively green, yet improving rapidly each outing. She has all the attributes required to develop into a serious small horse contender within a professional or ambitious amateur system.

Potential for professional measurement as a pony.
Only offered as she needs to be competing 1.30m+ within our programme — otherwise she would not be leaving.

A rare opportunity to secure a beautifully bred, quality young mare with an exciting future.
Easy enough for a kid to produce and currently being done by a 12 year old.

Ettie has had the same home for the past 5 years. Originally she was one of our showjumping ponies but was put into foal once we were off ponies. She is now for sale due to lack of land for our young stock.

Ettie is a very talented and careful show-jumper with a great technique. She competed regularly round 1.10/1.20 with lots of placing at these heights. She qualified and placed at nationals / blue chip / area shows. Unfortunately, she lost her love for showjumping, therefore is now a broodmare.

We had a lovely colt out of her by double pleasure in 2025. Lots of photos/videos of him upon request.

Ettie has a good conformation, mouth and feet. Clean Leg X-Rays taken at time of purchase, available upon request. She is good to, bath/ farrier/ load

  • Full Class 1 Connemara

Busby is a quality 14.2hh rising 6-year-old Full Class 1 Connemara with a fantastic temperament and a genuinely kind outlook on life.

Owned since a yearling and professionally broken as a 4-year-old, he has been in consistent work for the past 12 months and has gained a huge amount of experience in that time.

He is easy to catch, box, shoe and handle in all ways — a straightforward, no-fuss type who is happy living in or out. He has never required the vet and has had no health issues. Up to date with teeth checks (not vaccinated). NN for Hoofwall.

Living on a busy farm, he is well accustomed to machinery, cows, dogs, quads and general day-to-day activity. He hacks confidently through woods, open fields, moorland, rivers and is good in traffic with plenty of roadwork under his belt.

Busby has done some XC schooling and showed real promise. Brave, bold and very willing into a fence — ears pricked and always looking for the next question. He has happily tackled ditches, water and steep ground without hesitation. He particularly enjoys being in front and shows a competitive streak when presented with a challenge.

While he is perfectly capable of happy hacking, he is beginning to show that he would prefer a more varied and competitive lifestyle. The majority of the time he rides beyond his years, though he will occasionally remind you he’s still young (usually in the form of a spook at a leaf!).

He would suit a competitive teenager wanting a fun and talented pony to produce, or a small adult looking for more than just hacking. He has all the attributes to excel in a competition home across a variety of disciplines.

Serious enquiries only.

  • Bakeburn Will I Am

13-year-old New Forest Gelding | 14.1hh (may measure 14.2hh with shoes)

Bakeburn Will I Am is a quality New Forest gelding with an excellent temperament and genuine talent, particularly for dressage.
He has had only three homes in his life and spent eight years at Lambourn RDA from the age of five. The chairman of the RDA, who also runs Lambourn RDA, felt he was simply too talented to remain in that environment, which is why he came to us last year.

As you would expect from an RDA pony, his ground manners are impeccable. Under saddle he is willing and straightforward, works easily into a correct outline, and naturally offers flying changes without fuss. He is keen to jump—still green but enthusiastic—and while he enjoys cross-country and was not strong, dressage is where he truly excels and shows obvious ability.

He hacks out alone, although he has more confidence with an adult walking nearby, which is understandable given his background. He is very sensible in company. Despite his RDA experience, he can be a little spooky with new things, but never in a nasty way, and he ignores many things that other ponies might react to.

In the field he enjoys company. He is currently turned out with a field mate but has also happily lived next to another pony. He is not dominant, very laid-back, and easy for a child to catch.

He is only for sale because hunting does not suit him; it excites him too much and he will not stand when the field stops. This is no reflection on his temperament or rideability in other disciplines.

A genuine, kind pony with excellent manners and real talent, looking for a home to focus on dressage and all-round activities.

9-year-old German Riding Pony mare, approx 14hh

A hugely talented pony who has done a bit of everything and is now ready to shine in a competitive home.

Big, expressive movement — would excel as a working hunter / worker pony, and absolutely looks the part.

Loves to jump, showing scope, enthusiasm and quality across disciplines.

Kind & rideable – she will drop down and happily take a less able jockey, going in a beautiful, steady rhythm to suit her rider, while still having the ability to step up when asked.

Proven record:
2nd at Pony Club Championships 2024
Multiple red rosettes in showjumping
Successful in arena eventing

We had hoped to affiliate her with British Showjumping, but living on the Isle of Man makes travelling to mainland competitions very difficult.

We truly feel she is wasted here and deserves a home where her talent can be fully realised.

Would suit an ambitious Pony Club rider, mother/daughter share, or someone wanting a quality worker or jumping pony that is both capable and kind.

HUMBRIA ORANGE PIP - 148cm 15yr Welsh D X cob mare

Heartbreaking sale of our daughter’s pony, the search to find Pippa was long - we looked at lots and ventured far and wide and eventually found Pippa in Sheffield.

Pippa has been an incredible horse and taken our daughter from jumping Cross poles - 90cm. Pippa is a true teacher and confidence giver and helps the rider grow at their own speed, this has been invaluable to us over the last 3 years.

Pippa has done everything from stayaways, SJ, eventing, working hunter, dressage, fun competitions, camps, beach rides and so much more! Giving my daughter the best opportunities and teaching her so much, they gave truly been on a journey together but sadly competing demands and exams on the horizon means its time to hang up riding boots for a few years.

Pippa qualified for the SEIB National dressage at Arena UK in Nottingham, the ‘Cotswold Cup’ championships, as well as the Hartpury Championships and Trailblazers.

Pippa is happy jumping at the lower heights to help build confidence, but also happy competing at 80 and jumping slightly bigger at home. She has evented where cross country is her absolute favourite - she has conquered ditches, water, trakenhers, hedges and more! She needs a confident rider to take her into the jumps and tell her what they’re doing and enjoys every minute.

She is a pleasure to have on the yard, great around adults and children, lifts her feet on request, falls asleep with the farrier and is amazing for the dentist who she sees every six months. Pippa is happy hacking by herself and equally with others, is traffic safe and alert to her surroundings and used to farm machinery and a working yard.

Pippa is a teacher although not suitable for a total novice as needs a strong rider to give her the confidence as you fly round! Pippa happily loads on a trailer, 3.5t and 7t. Pippa has never bucked or reared in our time of owning her and is genuinely a joy to be around with a heart of gold who wants to have fun.

Happy to be in or out, she has been part of a mixed herd but also individually turned out; as long as she can see other horses she is fine but will let you know if she can’t.

Pippa did have treatment on her front annular ligaments at the beginning of 2025, so happy to discuss this further and give full vet history upon interest. Despite this Pippa was rehabbed slowly and carefully and made an incredible return to form jumping more confidently and boldly than before. Passed a 5* vetting when we purchased her and has only ever seen the vet for routine vaccinations and worming, which she is up to date for.

We are asking a sensible price for her, including her new Monarch jump saddle, bridle and a few rugs. This really is the most heartbreaking thing our family has had to do so absolutely NO TIMEWASTERS. 5* homes, and opportunity to visit new home before purchase would be welcomed.

Viewings in Somerset are very welcome, access to large schooling arena on site.

In addition and by separate negation we have a Cheval Touring trailer (Country model with separate tack room) which is also available.

  • A beautiful Dun Connemara Gelding with all Class 1 breeding

Little L is 148cm and rising 5years. He has been produced correctly and carefully over the past year, not rushed or overworked.

Little L has been with us since a foal and has always been a pure joy to work with and has taken everything in his stride and is the type of pony who will turn his hooves to any challenge and has never said no to a new task. He has been on beach rides, challenging trail rides, hunting, cross country, placed 1st and 2nd at the Munster Eventing Summer Series 2025 and qualified for the final, as well as an unaffiliated Dressage Ireland Show in October 2025.

Little L can be clipped free standing by one person, is good with the farrier and self loading onto trailers. His ground manners are very good, he has no lumps and bumps and is up to date with dental and chiropractic check ups. He lives in and out, is easy to catch from the field and a social pony who has always been very good with mares and foals and geldings.

We're looking for a very good home for Little L, ideally with someone who loves the outdoors as much as he does and will further continue his education.

14hh Lemon & white, super honest cob cross pony. Rising 5. Pony club potential

Hector is an absolute saint of a pony. He is the most sweet and honest type you could ask for. He was backed last year and has had no time, expense or attention spared in his care. He has been brought into full ridden work this year and is proving to be a special type.

Being turned out next to a railway line and farm he’s seen all kinds of traffic and doesn’t bat an eye lid. With pets and kids he is the kindest sort. He absolutely loves attention, cuddles and will stand to be brushed all day. He is the easiest to clip, even behind his ears!

He hacks out alone on busy roads and across the moors, going straight into water crossings and popping over ditches. He’s a PC/ Hunting/ XC pony in the making!!

In the school he goes nicely on the flat. His transitions are smooth and he learns super quick. He’s schooled by a small 15 year old and will pop a course of 40-50cm with ease. He is very forward thinking and you can see he enjoys the jumps with lots of scope there.

He’s has primary school kids on him in the yard pottering around without a leader, he’s had a toddler as a second passenger doing the steering and braking and he’s had a girl still on riding school ponies showing off her new lunging qualification with him. He is such a rewarding pony to work with and he is always so happy. He’s been out to clear rounds and popped around nicely without any stops and gained 2 clear rounds at his first ever practice show with a petite rider!

He is ideal for a capable child/teen (with guidance) or a small adult wanting a pony to produce into something very special. He is just so sensible. If he doesn’t know he will wait and look to you for the answer. He’s just that honest. He will even share his stable, hay manger and feed bowl with another when we were a stable short!

He’s available now for someone else to take on and produce fully themselves or equally make someone very happy as a happy hacker or all rounder. He’s absolute pony club in the making!

He is up to date with vaccines, feet and teeth. We have a school onsite and hacking available for a viewing. He came to be for sale as the previous owner has 3 young children and another bigger cob and they just didn’t have the facilities or time to spend producing him further and they didn’t want him wasted. I’ve taken him on to take him further and he is such an easy type I can see his next owner being a capable kid or small adult doing some XC, hunting, PC or SJ. He’s as pony club as you could ask for.

146cm Connemara mare on livery. Park Chanel, rising 19. The ultimate SJ/PC school mistress.

Chanel has successfully competed bs up to 1.15. She knows her job and is extremely honest. Bought by current owners 3 years ago as daughter’s first competition pony to teach her the ropes. She did a fantastic job stepping down and holding her hand round the smaller courses aswell as doing pc. Rider is now off ponies and lost interest.

Good to hack, farrier, bath, clip, load, catch etc. a very kind pony who loves her people. She is always in a snaffle and doesn’t get strong or silly. Will take a miss and would rather chip one in that take a long one and unseat her rider.

She is an absolute pleasure to look after. Currently being ridden by my more nervous 11yr old and if money were no object I would be buying her, that’s how much we think of her.

Tack and rugs included. Never been medicated. Open to vet etc.

Please read full advert before enquiring.

Jack is a beautiful traditional stamp of a Connemara, sold from the field as a project with a green passport. Reason for very low price for a horse of his breeding is he needs restarting by an experienced horseman or woman. Bought for my 12 year old daughter, who has worked with him with some success the past year but sadly as young horses do, he has learned to take the mickey and has a rear in him, so he is unsuitable for a novice rider currently.

Selling as we need something to give my daughter confidence. He has not done this when ridden in the company of other horses, and has been hacking many times on busy roads by my daughter, and lives on a farm and regularly sees heavy machinery.
He has had a professional rider on him, who had his usual flashy work from him once he realised it wasn't my daughter/novice on board, he just needs to unlearn a bad habit and is now in the field due to having no rider. Ideally working with an experienced owner somewhere with fresh scenery and adventures.

Like his grandfather, he is keen to a jump and we have had some great work from him in that sphere, with serious potential in more experienced hands; we are sure he will make a fantastic career out of any discipline, however he does truly enjoy a jump. Have had his back, teeth and saddle checked, is wormed and vaccinated up to date.

He is great on the ground to be handled/groomed, he is only just turned 5 so can be as young horses are, but my daughter handles this without issue.
Perfect for the farrier, dentist etc and is barefoot.

Feel free to call and discuss anything, please do bear in mind he is not being ridden currently hence sold from field.

We have plenty of videos and pictures.

Grade 1, 14.1hh Connemara
7 year old / 2018 (almost 8)
Dun mare

Full history known.

Affectionate and genuine with scope.

An exceptional looking pony

We are heartbroken to say that we are looking for a new home for our special girl, as my daughter won’t stop growing.

I bought Donut for my then 11 year old daughter. To say they have become the best team over the last two years is an understatement. The confidence has grown so much, in both rider and pony.

She is safe to be handled by anyone.

Competed at 80/90cm with scope for more, but this is where we feel comfortable. Always comes home with ribbons.

She is well mannered, affectionate, and loves attention. She flew through a 5 stage vetting when we purchased her and has never been any trouble since.

Quiet to ride and in her stable, no vices, clean legged.

She has done a bit of everything. She was successfully shown locally and at BSPS level as an M&M and WHP with her previous home. With us, she has done show jumping, hunting, pony club, hacking, and fun rides. She will hack alone and in company.

Straightforward to load, shoe, clip, and travel.

We have her stabled at night during the winter and out during day.  Summer she can live out 24/7

As explained, she is only available due to my daughter moving onto horses, so please no time wasters.

We are in no rush to sell her and will only go to the best home.

She will leave with bridle and rugs.

Plenty of photos and videos available on request.

148cm 6yo Connemara x TB Competition Pony

A very exciting opportunity to purchase a talented young pony with exceptional breeding and a huge future ahead.

She is a 148cm, 6-year-old Connemara x TB, ideally suited to a competitive home for BS or eventing. She is bold, brave and genuinely not the spooky type. Very willing and exceptionally clever, she is straightforward to train and picks up new things quickly. She is a happy, positive pony who enjoys her work.

Outstanding Competition Breeding
• By Western Chief
• Sire line includes Nijinsky
• Dam line includes Secretariat
• Half-brother to Kingstown Rebel (HOYS 148 winner, now showjumping in Belgium)

Her dam was never backed, but her granddam was the breeder’s daughter’s top-class SJ/WHP pony, consistently successful at a high level.

Western Chief has produced numerous FEI event ponies (particularly 10–15 years ago before going to private stud). This pedigree is proven for producing bright, athletic and talented competition ponies.

She has been carefully and slowly produced with her long-term future in mind:
• Enjoyed plenty of hacking and varied work
• Recently started jumping under saddle
• Already showing real enthusiasm and natural ability
• Brave, forward-thinking and proving to be a genuine “run and jump” type

She is progressing quickly and has all the attributes to excel in the right competitive home.

Hacks out along and in company.

Temperament
• No vices
• Easy to handle
• A real people-person
• Lovely to have on the yard

She is a pleasure to deal with in every way and has a kind, affectionate personality to match her talent.

Open to vetting and X-rays

Full disclosure of reason for sale. A genuine and sad sale due to unfortunate circumstances — a 5?? home is the absolute priority, and we would love to keep in touch.
