Barney - What can I say about this pony?

If you are looking for a pony that will help restore your child's confidence or for a child just starting to ride, Barney is the one. He will take a child from jumping poles on the ground to 70 cm. Barney has a few different gears and will always do as he's asked, adjusting to the rider.

My daughter was at rock bottom with her confidence, but Barney and she grew together. They won the Leinster Championships, got placed 6th in the All Ireland inter provincials and he has jumped in almost every equestrian centre in Leinster. We trust him with our lives!

My daughter does everything with him, from bathing and tacking up to turning out, mucking out while he’s in the stable, and loading. She took him to pony camp and had a great time. Unfortunately, the time has come for us to find this one-in-a-million pony another rider, as we are ready to step up!

Serious enquiries only. Absolutely no dreamers or time wasters.

Barney will only go to the right home with the right family

This lovely pony, is very balanced, very good confirmation and straight moving with super paces.

She would suit any discipline, snaffle mouth and happy in the contact.

Was backed as a 3 year old, broken spring 25.

Has been long reigned, loose schooled and basically hacked for a year. She is great in traffic, including, tractors, buses etc. she is happy and well behaved in the open at all paces, will go first or last, not spooky, happy to leave the others.

She has jumped the odd log and just started jumping small courses really confidently in canter. She jumps cleanly with a good technique but doesn’t jump big so would not jump you off.

She loves to be handled and learns quickly, she is responsive to the aids and a lovely genuine pony who loves to work or just be groomed.

She is ready to do more, would love PC/RC home or happy hacker alike.

Lemmie has a sweet and kind temperament, with a great attitude to work/schooling. She is easy to load, clip and shoe. She has been slowly and carefully produced over the last year.

She has competed up to 1m but schools at home over 1.15m with ease and has scope for more. She currently has 3 out 4 newcomer qualifications for 2026 and 2 out 0f 4 Discovery qualification and is still within points for British Novice. She qualified 3rd for the Blue Chip Winter Discovery and Bliss of London Sapphire Championships at first time of trying.

In the right hands she could be a competitive show jumping or eventing pony. She has been hunting and XC and is proving to be very bold and brave and will always help her rider out.

Would make fabulous pony for a rider wanting to take a pony up through the levels.

Lola is a lovely 7-year-old, 14.1hh piebald cob mare with a brilliant temperament and a sensible head on young shoulders. Broken last Easter, she's taken everything in her stride.

She's good in traffic and very little phases her. Happy to hack out alone or in company, she's mainly focused on hacking at the moment but willingly schools in the arena and loves her jumping. She's a safe forward-going ride who has also been ridden by a novice and behaved beautifully, making her a great potential mother-daughter share.

Lola loads well, is easy to catch, has no vices, and is good to handle on the ground. She has nice manners, enjoys going out and about, and thrives on your company. She will literally follow you round the field and come as soon as she sees you to be caught. She does have a small cosmetic blemish on her elbow; purely visual and causes no issues whatsoever.

Lola is a sweet, honest mare ready to continue her journey with the right person. She'll make someone a really lovely all-rounder.

Suzie is for sale through no fault of her own.

She needs a confident rider and would be an ideal second pony.

Hacks alone and in company with a confident rider.

She is connie, although her passport says no recorded breeding.

More woah than go.
Great in traffic.
Good to show, clip and load.

I’d love to keep her but unfortunately the fit isn’t right as I am a novice rider. She has been professionally schooled throughout winter and rides beautifully for trainer but can be spooky and buck for novice rider.

She is such a lovely girl and full of personality.

Home is the most important thing for this special girl.

HUMBRIA ORANGE PIP - 148cm 15yr Welsh D X cob mare

Heartbreaking sale of our daughter’s pony, the search to find Pippa was long - we looked at lots and ventured far and wide and eventually found Pippa in Sheffield.

Pippa has been an incredible horse and taken our daughter from jumping Cross poles - 90cm. Pippa is a true teacher and confidence giver and helps the rider grow at their own speed, this has been invaluable to us over the last 3 years.

Pippa has done everything from stayaways, SJ, eventing, working hunter, dressage, fun competitions, camps, beach rides and so much more! Giving my daughter the best opportunities and teaching her so much, they gave truly been on a journey together but sadly competing demands and exams on the horizon means its time to hang up riding boots for a few years.

Pippa qualified for the SEIB National dressage at Arena UK in Nottingham, the ‘Cotswold Cup’ championships, as well as the Hartpury Championships and Trailblazers.

Pippa is happy jumping at the lower heights to help build confidence, but also happy competing at 80 and jumping slightly bigger at home. She has evented where cross country is her absolute favourite - she has conquered ditches, water, trakenhers, hedges and more! She needs a confident rider to take her into the jumps and tell her what they’re doing and enjoys every minute.

She is a pleasure to have on the yard, great around adults and children, lifts her feet on request, falls asleep with the farrier and is amazing for the dentist who she sees every six months. Pippa is happy hacking by herself and equally with others, is traffic safe and alert to her surroundings and used to farm machinery and a working yard.

Pippa is a teacher although not suitable for a total novice as needs a strong rider to give her the confidence as you fly round! Pippa happily loads on a trailer, 3.5t and 7t. Pippa has never bucked or reared in our time of owning her and is genuinely a joy to be around with a heart of gold who wants to have fun.

Happy to be in or out, she has been part of a mixed herd but also individually turned out; as long as she can see other horses she is fine but will let you know if she can’t.

Pippa did have treatment on her front annular ligaments at the beginning of 2025, so happy to discuss this further and give full vet history upon interest. Despite this Pippa was rehabbed slowly and carefully and made an incredible return to form jumping more confidently and boldly than before. Passed a 5* vetting when we purchased her and has only ever seen the vet for routine vaccinations and worming, which she is up to date for.

We are asking a sensible price for her, including her new Monarch jump saddle, bridle and a few rugs. This really is the most heartbreaking thing our family has had to do so absolutely NO TIMEWASTERS. 5* homes, and opportunity to visit new home before purchase would be welcomed.

Viewings in Somerset are very welcome, access to large schooling arena on site.

In addition and by separate negation we have a Cheval Touring trailer (Country model with separate tack room) which is also available.

Lovely connie gelding, Ben has been in the same home for the last 6 years but sadly has been outgrown, he’s took me from going to a few local shows now and again to competing at county level and qualified for LIHS last year.

He excels doing flat work competing up to elementary in dressage and is his more preferred thing to. He loves a day out hunting and has never stopped.

He is 100% safe in open spaces and groups, his only fault is getting a bit overexcited at the beginning of a hunt and is known to throw an occasional bronk but nothing malicious (video included of this)

He loves pairs XC or any type of jumping with other horses involved but we are not selling him as a jumping horse for competitions as he’s not consistent alone and just doesn’t seem to be his thing. Ben did do 2 years of pony club and did 2 camps where he excelled winning his last PC ODE.

Ben is very easy going he loads and will stand all day on the lorry happily, be turned out or stabled alone with no bother, hacks alone or in company. Good to clip, bath, farrier, comes to call in the field.

He’s a real character and very much loved and would be a super pony for the right person.

Please feast your eyes on the delight that is Reuben!

Currently standing a smidge under 15h with growing and filling out to do, Reuben is a 4 year old, registered Connemara gelding. N/N

He is an incredibly happy chap, always smiling and pleased to be involved with anything going on, he has a kind, willing temperament with plenty of character without being bolshy with it.

Reuben arrived unbroken from Ireland in September, he was well handled and so we did a little bit of work starting him off on the groundwork pre backing, and then he went out in the field with me at home for a couple of months to relax and grow a bit.

He came back in onto the yard about a month ago like he had never left (I think he was glad to be back out in the field with his lad mates, those mares at home certainly kept him in his place) and he has been a joy and great fun to work with as we have progressed with him.

He is a very good boy to catch, in fact he’s always the first over and the one that gets right in the way when you are poo picking, he leads in from the field  like a good ‘un (he leads in on his own or in a bunch), he ties up patiently on the yard and adores a brush and a fuss, he picks his feet up extremely politely and is great to tack up.

Reuben works very nicely on the long reins around the farm and has been mooching around on them in the school while others have been working, he doesn’t bat an eyelid at standing patiently while I am videoing someone else and stuff. He has been out on the XC in hand and has had a pop up and down the steps and through the water.

He is hacking out nicely, he’s very happy either leading the way, tootling along behind or riding upsides his pal, he does everything with a smile on his face. He is obviously green and wobbly at times as he has only just started his education under saddle, however he gives you a very safe feeling and is willing and forward without being sharp or too quick, you can get your leg on him and give him direction and he is very willing. He has been in the arena a handful of times as I don’t like to ‘school’ the babies too early in their careers, I feel they should be out hacking, learning and strengthening before they go round in endless circles, so the pictures of him in the arena are from the few times he has been in there.

At the start of your ride, Reuben stands like an absolute rock at the mounting block and doesn’t move off until you ask him to and he is good to get on after he has had a couple of days off, no need for lunging or anything before you ride him.

I have videos of him doing his first canters in the school and out hacking and he was a very good boy, no thoughts in his head of naughtiness.

Reuben is a very correct stamp of a Connemara, he has no lumps or bumps and is good enough to show either plaited or natural and would also be a super Working Hunter stamp.

A fabulous all round, great looking, friendly, willing package, Reubens ideal human would  be a confident, experienced person looking for a fun, willing partner who hasn’t been rushed but has all the basics in place, to bring on for all BD/Cotswold Cup/PC/RC activities and in the future, once he has learnt a little more, I’d say he will be a fabulous mother/daughter share.

Added to all the fabulousness listed above, he is a dude to have around the yard with his cute face and outgoing person and he is, of course, a FABULOUS colour! Win win all round I say!

Based here at Rabson Manor, Wiltshire, SN4 9QF, please call or Whatsapp on 07888675300 for a chat about the boy

Please WhatsApp me for all videos of him grooming and tacking up, at the mounting block, out hacking and in the school right from the start of his education

Ponies like this do not come along very often and a viewing is highly recommended
There are no ifs or buts to this pony she is solid gold on the ground and ridden

Outstanding homebred 3yo Palomino AES filly

If you want to stand out from the crowd look no further. With an excellent temperament and movement to match this filly will turn her hoof to any discipline.

Bred with both Showjumping and Eventing in mind she is versatile, brave and a lovely stamp taking all the best attributes from both her Connemara and Warmblood bloodlines. Currently standing at approx 14.2/3 with room to grow.

Her dam evented BE and showjumped pony classes while her sire has showjumped to 1.30m level producing offspring up to 4* level in eventing and showjumping.

This filly would be an asset to any breeding program as well as make a fantastic prospect for the sport.

Otto is good to catch and up to date with vaccinations/dentist/farrier, currently barefoot. No sickness, lumps or bumps.

Otto is not a first pony, nor would he suit a novice rider. He is a forward pony, and so he needs an experienced rider to teach him to listen to their cues. He has never bucked/bronced/reared with us and we are told the same by his previous owner.

Otto loves being turned out. He is currently stabled overnight and turned out during the day. He was turned out in a herd at his previous home, and is on individual turn out with us with horses close by in separate paddocks.

Otto has been showjumping, hunting, and on beach rides. We have been focusing on groundwork and schooling, but he has hacked out alone and in company previously and has shown no signs of being fazed by traffic. The track next to his paddock is used regularly by dog walkers, horse riders, cars, vans, and farm machinery and he has not batted an eyelid at any of them.

Leads in and out nicely.

The honest bits -

He can be difficult to load. He will plant his feet on the ramp, but does seem to load better if the grooms/side door is open. He may benefit from travelling with another horse, this is not something that we have tried. Travels well when loaded.

He can fidget in the stable, usually in the morning when he is keen to be turned out. We have been working on his stable manners and he is showing improvement with this.

We are selling as I have inadvertently over-horsed my daughter and her confidence has been knocked. I am not horsey, I don’t have the knowledge or experience to teach him properly so he needs a competent, confident owner who can give him the consistency he needs. He is a truly stunning pony who is keen to work and he will only go to the best of homes as that’s what he deserves.

I truly believe that in the right hands, this pony will be a superstar.
