Beautiful 14.2hh, 6-year-old Palomino Irish Cob mare, who has been owned by us since she was a yearling. We backed, produced and brought her on ourselves, so her full history is known.

She really is an absolute family pony in every way. She is not a complete novice ride, but she is also a very safe, sensible mare who has a lovely attitude and enjoys getting out and about.

She is good to shoe, loads and travels perfectly, and is happy living in or out, although she prefers to come in during the winter.

She is a very good doer and is clipped twice each winter. She can occasionally be funny about having her face clipped, so we use sedation paste prescribed by the vet when needed.

She is a genuine, lovely mare who has been a huge part of our family. She is only for sale as my mum is giving up, so this is a very sad sale.

We have had her since she was a yearling and have done everything with her ourselves. She has been loved, produced carefully and is now ready to find her next family.

Mature husband and wife looking for their last fur baby with hooves to love 💕 , pamper and fill a huge hole in our hearts that’s been left by the loss of our precious horse a while ago …long story short we are looking for someone to love that will enjoy the odd plod about with my hubby .. confident novice .. Owned ( mostly rescued ) horses for over 40 years and over these years , I have loved and cherished horses , have bred two stunning foals , broken horses and ponies to drive and shown at county level and studied equine psychology .. owned Shires ( largest was 19.1), ID (16.2 & 17.2) , Percheron (17.3)x , TB(17.1) and Ex rescued trotter (16.2) to pony’s and even a very naughty 9 hh Shitland🥴as you can see the bigger the horse the better for us as hubby is tall with long legs and (likes something wide between his legs … sorry if too much information 🫣😩🥴😆

Preferably we would like someone that wants a quiet life that isn’t going to bolt, buck , rear or kill us .. we are very experienced in handling both young, big, old and bulshy horses but would rather a “ kind Dobbin” at this stage in life 😆I have many years of experience with wide range of horses , and medical conditions, etc so not worried about a bit of arthritis, age related issues, gut problems etc as long as disclosed .

A post I have been putting off writing. My Beautiful Welsh Section D Mare is looking for a new postcode.

She is a big upstanding 5 year old with the head of a model and the bottom of a cook!

She was beautifully started by Sarah and bought on by Tamsyn to become a sensible, sensitive pony with manners to burn. This year she has contested a handful of novice classes to get her out and about. She will be ready to step up into opens next year, whether it be for juniors or open Section D classes. She is lovely to hack and has done so with quite novice riders. She has brakes, balance and comes off your leg.

We feel she will make a fabulous Mother Child share she could even step away from showing and become a top class pony club or dressage pony.

She is extremely balanced and has the best engine you could ever wish for and really engages her hocks.

She stands I think about 15hh and has a huge front, not measured her officially.

Last year she did have a field accident and needed an operation, she spent several months recovering which I will fully disclose to any interested parties.

I literally love the bones of this mare and I have dreamed for many years of owning something quite as beautiful. However, our little team have a passion for Fell ponies, this is the direction they want to continue to go. It’s no good me trying to persuade them otherwise!

If I was 30 years younger I would be enjoying her myself so I have made the difficult decision of finding her someone that will appreciate her as much as I do.

Cobs like her do not appear often. She will not be cheap for the incredible amount of work that has gone into her but I am totally realistic on price, given what happened last year.

Sandy is a lovely, genuine and straightforward horse who has been an absolute pleasure to own. She has been my first horse and has helped me progress my riding and, most importantly, build my confidence. She has also been ridden by my young sons and has been a wonderful, reassuring horse for the whole family.

Sandy is polite and easy to handle on the ground, with no stable vices. She is good for the farrier (currently has fronts on), dentist and vet and is fully up to date with her teeth, feet and vaccinations. She is good to groom and pick her feet, she loves a bath and a groom. She is excellent to load and travel and she is currently ridden 4 times a week.

Sandy has done plenty of schooling and hacking with us and has really enjoyed getting out and about. She has been to arena hires, pole clinics, forest hacks and weekend confidence clinics, all of which she loves. She has recently jumped unaffiliated up to 80cm and enjoys popping over a small course out hacking. In her previous home, she regularly took part in cross-country courses.

She is a kind, genuine horse who enjoys getting out, having fun and trying new things. She has been a fantastic confidence-giver for me and has given our family so many happy memories. She has a lovely attitude to life and is the sort of horse who is happiest when she is out doing something with her person.

This is a very sad sale of a super horse. The difficult decision to sell is simply because I don't feel I can continue to give Sandy the time and attention she deserves. I have 2 young horses at home who are taking up lots of my time and sadly my sons have lost interest in riding. With bringing on the younger horses, along with family and work commitments, I know that going forwards I won't be able to give Sandy the time and opportunities she deserves. I would love to find her a kind, knowledgeable home where she can continue to be enjoyed, loved and have lots of adventures.

Lovely kind natured mare, who is always pleased to see you, follows you around like a dog. Very easy to do, stands like a rock at the mounting block.

Lily is a versatile horse who would excel in any discipline, particularly as a hunter, low level eventer or a fun all rounder.

Lily will turn out in a group or on her own and is good to bath, clip, shoe, catch and load.

We have taken our time to produce Lily whilst she was still growing and feel she is now ready to further her career.
