Doesn't need to be a George Clooney in appearance! Happy to consider an older horse looking to step down from the bigger hunting days who would settle into smaller jump country. 

No need for world beaters or puissance horses as we hunt the more trot & pop, trappy country not large grass fields with hedges but it must still be happy to go off alone and jump. MUST be good with hounds around it's legs and go off alone leaving the field happily when trail hunting! 

Apart from being 15.2hh and above (may consider a little smaller if well built) with a good shoulder in front, there is no other specific requirements - just a safe and experienced horse that won't erupt into outer space if left unridden for a week.

Where do I start! I purchased Hercules as a foal from Ireland. As a 3 year old I showed him in hand a a few local venues taking Champion a few times. Feb 2023 he was backed, April 2023 his under saddle competition career started.

Hercules was Hunter Champion as a 4 yr old at Stars which was a great preparation for London getting him used to the busy surrounding's and atmosphere.

Hercules has been to various county shows, taking Champion to qualify for London where he finished 2nd in the Heavyweight Hunter Final.

Weve taken Champion at many shows as he really is a special horse and is extremely impressive so really stands out.

Weve competed British Dressage just to improve his education, taking Full Draught British Dressage Associate Champion at Novice and Elementary 2024.

He has since competed at Medium level BD scoring 69-71%. He has started changes

Hercules is very special to me and im particular as to where he goes.

He is lacking hacking experience as he isnt the best with big tractors or wagons passing closely and im too old to ride on the road!

Hes ridden on quiet roads away from home and has been fine, hes been on numerous fun rides and jumped small logs and x country jumps easily. But ive not jumped him big as its not my thing. Ive taken him to the gallops on a regular basis and he is the type who does not get upset when other horses gallop past him. He really is a pleasure to take out and has a lot to teach any rider in the arena as he is very educated for his type!!

In July 2025 Hercules had a tie back operation which was extremely successful as he no longer makes a noise when ridden and can now win big classes in the show ring.

Hercules has no vices, blemishes, he has clean legs, no lumps or bumps, good feet and a beautiful brain! I'm very particular who buys Hercules as I love this horse.

Oakley has been backed and is being ridden out on hacks and in the arena, proving to be very willing and easy under saddle. He has taken to it like a duck to water!

He is a flashy, beautiful mover, forward going whilst also very brave and not spooky in the slightest. Has hacked on roads encountering cars and other livestock, none of which phased him at all. He will hack alone and in company, where he js more than happy to lead the way! He also has a lovely scopey jump too.

Good to groom and pamper and will stand all day to be groomed and fussed over.

He is up to date with the farrier, dentist, and vaccinations.

We do feel that he would not be suitable for children just at the moment, nor nervous people and novices. Zero malice in this pony, he is just at a very important point in his education, and he can have the very occasional test on the ground. It is nothing that would phase an experienced horse person!

Brody is a nice genuine horse. He has no badness in him. He can throw in a buck and a squeal when excited. When out with big groups. It isn’t often but he can have his wee excitable moment before going back to being a dream. Never unseated me and I wouldn’t say I’m the next Ros Cater. Can try his luck if he knows he can. Easily tobered and takes a telling and once he knows the rider won’t take it he is good as gold

Ozzie has been the most perfect partner for my daughter since she was 12, both starting off green in the horse world and growing together over the last 3 years. Has the most lovable character and is only for sale as she now wants to concentrate on school and other teenage activities.

Has done a bit of everything……ODE’s, SJ, XC, Dressage, teamchasing and is your ultimate low level allrounder. Comfortable competing up to 80cm but has done 90/100 schooling at home. Adores XC and would make a fantastic hunting partner as stands like a rock when out at a party.

Although he has been a great teenagers horse, he requires a rider not a passenger. He is a typical cob, and given an inch he takes a mile. He is at his best when in varied regular work and likes to go out as much as possible. Hacks well in company and will hack alone but requires more confidence from his rider when not with friends.

Loads well, easy to clip, barefoot and lives on fresh air. Could live out if desired, happiest in a herd but is currently in individual paddock.

Up to date with saddle fit, chiro, teeth and vaccs due October.

Passed a 5 stage vetting 3 years ago with a couple of minor points-happy to discuss on enquiry.

Does suffer with sweet itch but managed well with the injection and staying covered up.

Will come with tack and full wardrobe.

Moss - 16hh, 7 year old cob gelding.

Moss is a super sweet, quality cob with a real leg in each corner, weight carrying type. He is as wide as he is tall!

Full history known and a genuine reason for sale. We imported Moss as a 4 year old and sold him to his current owner who has had a wonderful 3 years hacking but now very sadly health reasons means he needs to hang up his boots.

Moss will hack alone and in company, is good with traffic and farm machinery. Used to cows and sheep and sensible in open spaces. Loves to go exploring and will pop a log in the woods if it’s in his way! Used to hacking over flyovers and busy dual carriageways and loves a pub stop!

Will work in the arena but he’s built for comfort not speed and this wouldn’t be his forte, he’s not really designed for it so his owner would love to see him go into a similar home to his and not one that wants to work in the arena 4 days a week.

Really super cob for hacking/fun rides/low level stuff.

Good to catch/clip (only reason his legs aren’t done is my blades were going blunt and I didn’t want to only get halfway through!)/load/bath/shoe. Up to date on vaccinations/teeth/physio - he has been very well loved and cared for. No lumps/bumps/cpl/scabby knees.
