Phillip is a nicely bred 4-year-old gelding is half Irish Cob, half Irish Draught giving him the best attitude and loving out look on life, standing at 15.2hh with striking blue and white colouring. Bought unbroken as a 3-year-old and brought on slowly and correctly over the past 9 months, he is now backed, riding away confidently, and ready to progress in any chosen direction.

He is the definition of “4 yr going on 14 years” – incredibly sensible, level-headed, and mature beyond his years. He works in a snaffle and is schooling well for his age, with three balanced paces and a willing attitude. He has recently started jumping and is proving bold, confident, and easy to a fence. He’s not spooky at fillers and has also shown great promise cross-country, taking everything in his stride with a very willing attitude. He would give any rider confidence, making him an ideal partner for someone wanting a straightforward, genuine young horse.

He hacks out happily both alone and in company and is excellent in traffic. He has never bucked, reared, or napped. On the ground he is a complete gentleman – easy to catch, trim, and handle in every way. He loads and travels like an old pro and stands quietly on the lorry.
