Approx. 17.2–18hh

Troy is a truly impressive horse with the talent, temperament, and presence to excel with the right rider. A superb mover who could easily pursue pure dressage, having been trained to Elementary level, while also possessing masses of scope to shine as a top Bronze/Silver League competition horse.

Despite his size, he’s a complete gentle giant on the ground – friendly, mannerly and a real pleasure to handle. Under saddle, he is not a novice ride. Troy requires a confident, experienced rider who can harness his power and ability; with the right partnership, this horse could go on to achieve big things.

Schooling & Work Status
Troy has been out of work since February through no fault of his own, so he is currently building strength and fitness. Back in work for the past 3 weeks, he’s proving willing, intelligent, and enjoyable. After a fence he may offer a cheeky bronc, but this is never nasty and improves as his fitness returns.

Key Features:
• Exceptional paces – ideal dressage prospect
• Trained to Elementary
• Big jump with plenty of scope
• Hacks well in company (not keen solo)
• Snaffle mouthed with us
• Previously ridden by a petite rider for 5 years
• No medical history
• Up to date with physio, dentist & vaccinations

  • Ultimate bronze/silver league for HOYS 2026
  • Real confidence giver, never stops and loves the job!
  • Won 1.10 open & DC 1.15 last time out (Sun 9th Nov)
Gerania is a beautiful 16.1 bay mare. Sired by Cassini Gold out of a Joost mare.
She has successfully competed up to 1.35 level, placing in a Foxhunter Second Round, 1.30 International classes, and jumped Young Rider classes. I sold her in 2021 to a 14yr old boy who she has taken from 90cm to jumping 1.30, winning multiple classes along the way and giving him endless confidence. He has now sadly outgrown her so she is back with me to find her next best home.

Gerania is an easy ride, ridden and produced completely by a young amateur girl from BN! She happily takes a miss and will always help the rider out at all costs. She is also very careful with a good technique over a fence. Not only is Gerania very talented she is also the easiest mare to deal with in all ways. Good to load, travel, shoe, clip. She happily lives out or stabled. Hacks out alone or in company in the busiest traffic or on the beach/mountains. She also enjoys doing bits of cross country and fun rides.

Gerania is super consistent she has recently won 4/6 classes in Belgium in October. She won the 1.10 open and DC 1.15 Members Cup last time out (Sun 9th Nov). Ready to step back to 1.20. She is on current consistent form, loving the job and is ready to go on with her next rider.

Full history is known since an unbroken 3yr old. She has never been over jumped, only did a handful of shows before an 8yr old. She absolutely loves to jump and thrives off going to shows. She really is a dream horse and a rare find! She is also one you can leave and pick up here and there, and always comes out the same.

She will suit a child coming off ponies, an amateur rider, or an older rider wanting a true confidence giver. She NEVER stops and always looks for a way over the fences and will help the rider out at all costs. She will make the ultimate bronze or silver league horse for HOYS 2026. She is extremely quick against the clock and a great diesel horse!

She did sustain an injury to her check ligament beginning of this Summer. Which has recovered very well and she is back consistently jumping with no issues or concerns. She’s had recent scans taken Nov 21st 2025 which have shown it’s healed up 100% and has no active inflammation. Doesn’t get managed any differently. Although has healed with a small lump.
Gerania has always been very sound and healthy and has never required any maintenance injections etc, she runs off fresh air! She was sold 3yrs ago passing 5 stage vetting and a good set of x-rays. She always comes out the stable with a spring in her step ready to go work. She is the type to never want to slow down in life.
Open to any inspection and vetting, good home is paramount.

Beautiful 2017 ISH mare standing at 16.1hh.

Malibu is a lovely family horse / mother daughter share / teenagers ride type. She has done riding club activities, pleasure rides, dressage, pony club camp, local shows and cross country. She has three uphill paces, a kind mare and an easy ride.

She has schooled up to 120cm, she’s as bold cross country as she is showjumping and has several rounds under her belt. She goes off any stride, the type which takes you to a fence and wants to please, a genuine mare in every way.

She will hack alone and in company, super in open spaces, and will go out in the heaviest of traffic, she’s been a teenagers horse and is only for sale due to lack of time, Malibu has been in the same home for two years. Easy to do and quiet to have around.

  • Confidence giving, fun type
Seasoned hunter, allrounder, riding club / fun horse. This very handsome 2016 16hh Irish (green book full recorded breeding) bay gelding is the real deal, there’s nothing he cannot do!

Apollo produces a beautiful test, he’s been in the dressage boards and schools beautifully, he has a lovely self carriage, comfortable and flashy paces and a soft snaffle mouth, he’s an excellent ride and isn’t remotely complicated in any way shape or form.

Apollo has done plenty of hunting, cross country, and showjumping. Hacking wise, Apollo is great in open spaces, good with heavy traffic, machinery etc, and he doesn’t change if he’s on his own or out with others. He’s a nice type, and will jump off any stride and will absolutely help you out if you get it wrong, he’s most certainly a confidence giver over fences and oozes scope, doesn’t look at coloured fillers / rustic fences etc, just the type to take you and look after you.

He’s a friendly lad in the yard and stable, confident and cuddly, easy to have around and a laid back personality.

Apollo is a true allrounder, he’s done a little bit of everything throughout life and is a nice quiet, yet talented ride. He has lots of hunting experience with three seasons under his belt but is equally happy doing riding club stuff.

The Perfect Safe Horse

  • Mr Perfect - a great teacher!
  • Gentle and kind to handle
  • Well bred and well mannered

Introducing Oliver, our absolutely gorgeous 16hh , 9 year old British Warmblood Gelding, looking for a new Mummy Daddy or full family (!) to love , enjoy and share new adventures with.

Oliver is extremely handsome and perfectly correct in every way, he moves like a dream, is well schooled, and always a snaffle mouth. He is a pretty chilled chap, with a laid back nature, which we have found ideal for teaching my novice partner to ride on. Oliver has also been helping my friend’s 16 year old daughter gain confidence and experience. He has improved her riding and flatwork as well as introducing her to showjumping and competition. He is a quality well bred horse. He has a sensible head, and offers a push on type ride, without being lazy he is on the quiter side .

This being said, he can be jazzed up a little when required and has also competed in one day eventing , showjumping at 1m/ 1.05 competition, prelim and novice level dressage and an abundance of pony club and riding club activities. He can clear 4ft with ease! He would also be a fabulous horse for an equestrian centre / college to have on their books, as he would be suitable for such a large variety of riders from the beginners through to the more advanced.

He works nicely in the sand school and also works well in open fields, he doesn’t change in his demeanour. He has hacked through the busy village on his own and also with my daughter on her pony. My 7 year old daughter can lead him in from the paddock and ride him bareback.

He is a lovely boy to fuss with, kiss, cuddle and groom. We have travelled him in both a horsebox and a trailer , and he is good with the farrier, dentist and clipping .

Oliver is fully wormed and vaccinated.

He is happy to live in or out, when he first came to us he did occasionally weave in his stable but this totally subsided after a week or two , however for transparency I’m mentioning it.

Please no time wasters or joy riders, this is extremely sad for us to part with him .

Perfect school master/ bronze/ silver league horse

Bobby has previously jumped up to 1.45m with a professional and has given me a huge amount of experience. We bought him four years ago to teach me the ropes and he’s taken me from jumping 1m classes up to the 1.40s.

Perfect bronze/silver league horse
He’s recently been on loan to a family where he’s taken a young amateur around her first Foxhunters and also hacked and done farm rides with the mum. He’s a genuine, straightforward horse who’s easy to have around.

He’s fit, healthy and ready to go. He’s been very much loved, so finding the right home is important. I’ve got too many younger horses coming through now and he’s being overlooked, which isn’t fair on him. He’s the same whether he’s ridden every day or has a few days off.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Bruno is a fantastic small horse who truly does it all — safe enough for a child, yet talented and competitive enough for an adult.

He has experience across all disciplines, from dressage to hunting, and behaves impeccably in every situation. Wherever he goes, he turns heads with his presence and manners.

Bruno works in a correct, rhythmical way and is schooling towards Elementary/Medium level with lovely balance and self-carriage.

A pleasure to hack both alone and in company. He canters out sensibly in open spaces and is unphased by traffic, although we are based in a quiet village.

An absolute dream to hunt. He was ridden by a teenage girl and behaved impeccably throughout, standing quietly and enjoying the day.

Excellent to load, shoe, clip, catch and handle. A genuine, easy horse to have around the yard.

Bruno is a rare find – a kind, talented and versatile horse who would suit a wide range of riders.

A true gentleman of a horse, Barry is now looking for his forever family/person.

I bought Barry with the intention he’d join my little team forever however due to being made redundant I have no choice but to find Barry the perfect home.
His last home was 6 years and he’s never wanted for anything.

He’s a real fun alrounder that knows his stuff. He’s been there for the t shirt, he enjoys everything from dressage to fun/beach rides.

Whist he’s not a complete novice ride as at times can look for reassurance he is doing what’s asked of him. he’s very good boy to do in all ways and loves nothing more than you to get off board smiling. He’s never bucked/reared etc etc.

With me we’ve mainly hacked as that’s what I love to do, he’s the type to be more bothered by a packet of crisps on the side of the road rather than heavy traffic, I have hacked him alone and in company.

My sister has jumped him at a few different venues and again he’s genuinely loved every minute, he’ll look after you if your unbalanced to a fence but does like a confident ride to a fence in new places, he’ll always get you over the other side.

We’ve jumped him around courses of 80-90 but his scope would be much more with the work put into him

He’s super well schooled and would be in a position to go and do a novice dressage test tomrrow it’s just not something iv been too interested in doing.

Hell stand all day to be bathed, clipped , shod etc - brilliant manners on the ground I’d happily let my partners young children walk him in and out of the paddocks

There’s so much more to say about this wonderful horse please do get in touch if you think you could offer him the perfect home he deserves.

He’s up to date with all the basics and is currently in 4-5 days a week work be it mostly hacking he will school and jump at least once a week to keep him ticking whilst I find him a new family.

Being 14 I know all his history inc some minor medical history which I’m happy to discuss in full detials - this is all clear and X-rays to show this is no longer and never will be an issue again.

Thanks for your time to read this advert

Please no time wastes this is a hard decision for me

I bought Charlie as a 6 year old and he really has turned into a strong, sound, true all rounder. He's a lovely personality to have around and easy to do in all ways.

Over the past 4 years we have:
Trained with Sean Coleman - Applied Horsemanship for 3 years, and had very close tuition for the last year living on-site as Sean’s apprentice. We performed at the horsemanship showcase in Sean Coleman’s demo in 2024. Through this training Charlie has also learnt very good groundwork and liberty, along with established flatwork.

We have regularly competed in eventing for the last 3 years - Cotswold cup and BE (90), and show jumped up to 1m. We achieved 3rd place, double clear at the Horse Events eventing 90 championships 2025. Competed in the BD Quest national championships 2024. Charlie's been stabled at stay away shows, and is always such a pleasure to handle when out competing.

We lived in the New Forest for 2 years when I first got Charlie and hacked daily, along with swimming in the forest ponds. He's seen wild ponies, pigs, donkeys, sheep and very good in traffic. He has very established flatwork and is very light to ride, including laterals and changes. We've trained at the gallops for fitness work where he can trot round on a loose rein or go for a gallop, whatever is asked of him.

No vices, good to shoe, load, box, catch, clip.
Has sarcoids but they’re not in an area that affects him, and are currently being treated. Happy to discuss or send photos and the price has been reduced due to his sarcoids.

Charlie has been an amazing horse for me to improve both my horsemanship and competition skills, but I am now ready to step up with my eventing. Charlie does have the odd pole and is not particularly careful in show jumping from 90m+ hence my reason for sale as I need something more consistent. He is a very sweet boy who loves to be doing something and will only be going to the best home possible! He would be a great confidence giver to someone that would like to do a little bit of everything with their horse and get out and about.

17.2hh bay gelding 13 years old Rubinstein / Donnerhall lines . Professionally trained .

This lovely horse has competed up to PSG with scores of 70% . He’s really easy to ride in a snaffle or double and is currently ridden by an amateur lady .

He is very light and extends and collects with ease . Has 3 impressive paces . He would be great to teach a competent aspiring rider all the advanced movements .

He has some veterinary issues which we would be more than happy to discuss but is sound and ridden daily .

Home is more important than price.

We have owned Nev since he was 6.  He has been out to many different clinics and unaffiliated competitions XC, SJ, Sponsored Rides, Combined Training, Polework, Bridleless, Liberty. Lots of placings at unaffiliated prelim/novice dressage.

He loves his jumping and will happily pop round a course of 80/90cm showjumps or xc. He’s not bothered by fillers or water etc. He has done some unaffiliated eventing with double clears and won at 80cm SJ clear round.

He hacks alone and in company and is good with traffic and farm machinery. Enjoys sponsored rides. He is good to lead off. He has done lots of work on the ground including liberty work/natural horsemanship and bridleless - he is amazing with this and appears to really enjoy it.

He likes having a good routine and a confident lightweight jockey, he can put in a very occasional buck so probably not suitable as a first horse.

He is good on the ground with farrier/dentist/clipping etc and loads and travels really well. Good with children, chickens, dogs, peacocks, deer, pheasants and Shetlands! We think he would settle well at a family farm or small livery yard, with a relaxed jockey who wants to enjoy a bit of everything.

Very sad sale so a good home is very important. References available and lots of photos and videos available on request. Open to vetting.

Took me from jumping 1.10s and 1.15s to confidently round 1.45s and young riders.

Numerous double clears and placings nationally and internationally at 1.20-1.40 level …. He speaks for himself.

Good against the clock, big stride and always makes up the distance. Goes off any stride.

Baby has never taken an unsound step, and never said no or let me down. Has been well maintained and cared for, never over jumped or overused.

Still has tonnes left in the tank, and everything to give. Super consistent and knows what he’s doing.

Gives 100% effort every time you take him out of the stable. He just has the biggest heart.

Impossible to put a value on the confidence and experience he’s given me as a rider, and the happiness and memories he’s given our family at shows and at home every day.

Extremely lovable with a big puppy dog personality.

No vices, perfect gentleman to hack, travel, clip, shoe and handle.

Only for sale due to lack of time. I’m heading into my final year of university, and have too many commitments, as well as young horses that now need more time.

He loves his job and is super happy in the ring - so he deserves to be out giving these incredible experiences to another rider.

Would suit a young rider, a professional, or an amateur.

Absolutely gutting sale… he will be sorely missed by the whole family and yard.

If he didn’t have so much more to give I would provide him his forever home :)

5 star home required.
