Walter (Up Against The Wall) has competed at Adv Medium BD. He does have an easily managed health history and can now only compete comfortably Prelim - Elementary.

He is a competition horse and can be a little quirky at times so he would suit a more confident/competent rider.

He will hack in company. He is super to load and travel. Fabulous to clip, great for the farrier, he is good to turnout and is up to date with everything.

Because of his medical history Walter is unlikely to pass a 5 stage vetting which is reflected in his price.

If you are looking to compete and do very well at Prelim - Elementary he may be the horse for you. He would likely do VERY well at Petplan or Children on Horses.

PLEASE only enquire if you are genuinely interested in my beautiful horse.

Khan - Spectacular event horse who would be equally well suited to an amateur wanting a Novice/2* superstar schoolmaster as to someone wanting to progress through 3 and 4*.

Flashest of dressage horses, regularly leading from the front with dressage marks as low as 22. Khan has been winning at Medium level dressage this winter, thus lining him up to be a great Championship horse for a keen U18/U21, or Asian Games type buyers.

He matured into his tall body last year, and finds Novice eventing tracks a walk in the park. Though I had a season riddled with injuries, so he only did few BE competitions, and was very competitive in those few runs- starting the season on a 28 DC at Burnham Market, stepping up to Intermediate competitively, and finishing with a 2nd at Tetworth IN. He will be ready to be competitive at 3* this year, for someone wanting to progress, and my plan with him would be to aim at Blenheim 8/9 yr olds.

Khan is out and out one of the best xc horses I’ve had the pleasure of riding! He was ready to go Advanced xc as a 6 yr old- he’s always been one to seek out a skinny and stay on a line. I’ve had him since a raw 4 year old, and I don’t think he’s ever stopped at a fence in the entire 5 years I’ve had him!

Khan has jumped double clears up to BS Foxhunters level, though mostly on a ticket, so is still eligible for the lower classes. He has an incredible forearm which will always get you out of trouble, and a very easy way about his scope- smooth and effortless, so doesn’t throw you in the air like some! He makes 1.39/1.40 fences seem inconsequential!

Khan is simply the kindest big horse you could dream of. He is regularly schooled by my 5’3 teenage groom, and would never dream of being strong or pushing you about. Snaffle mouth in all 3 phases.

He is the most pleasurable of horses to have in every way- always looking for affection and great to hack, handle and travel.

Khan will only go to a very special home who will appreciate his outstanding nature- whether that be to a pro or a competitive amateur, he is everybody’s favourite horse!

Good set of X-rays as 6 yr old, and open to vet. Sound and ready to start his season.

Searching For A Trustworthy Best Friend Type

  • Character - Gentle Natured, Polite, Family Friend
  • Type - Lightweight Cob Or Similar, Nothing Too Heavyweight.

I am just beginning my search for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane.

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics…. maybe the odd local show in future - but just for fun! I will often be hacking alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us on a quiet yard. I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

* I do appreciate that no horse is ‘perfect’ & that ‘bombproof’ does not exist & I am open to compromise but please do just be honest about any possible known ‘issues’ as I will not buy unseen & would want to have any potential horse vetted *

We are based in Norfolk so ideally looking for something in or around East Anglia but would travel further if plenty of info, videos/photos could be provided beforehand. I have a sensible budget & very relaxed & loving forever home for the right horse.

Very easy to handle and deal with at home and events. Loads and travels well, will stand on box all day. Often used as the nanny.

Exciting opportunity to purchase what we believe will an extremely competitive event horse that is ready to step up this season and is capable of winning the Badminton Grassroots Championships. She ticks every box and holds the talent and untapped potential to quickly progress further to make a cracking juniors or 1* eventer in the very near future.

Having spent most of her life in a riding club and unaffiliated home, this is the perfect opportunity to purchase a mare that’s seen the world, got the t-shirt, but without the points and record, meaning that she is still eligible for the novice classes.

Literally breezes around the trickiest of cross country courses, very clever and honest, really thinks ahead for herself and loves the job.

Recently been out to major venues, training and jumping Discovery level on a day ticket. Again, showjumping she is agile and honest, will never stop and wants to jump clear rounds. Ready to jump a Newcomers and will quickly progress.

Rides very sweetly on the flat, snaffle bridled and correct, moves well, and has established changes and some lateral work. Will always score well dressage.

Hacks out, alone and in company. Easy to look after in and out of the stable, sweet natured, polite and free from vices.

Pretty straightforward in all ways, and a very exciting horse for the future. Fit and ready to win, she is an out and out competition horse, with such a promising future, please no very nervous, wobbly, heavy handed or unaspirational riders for this mare.

Due to long term health condition I am downsizing to one horse.

Please read the full description

MATCHPOINT

17hh 10yo gelding

I have owned him since nov 2024. We have done one full season together where we were 4th RI amateurs and qualified for the ladies side saddle at HOYS.

We also done dressage up to novice level qualify for area and regional Championships.

Matchpoint is NOT for available to a showing home as he has lost the love for it and makes that clear.

He would ideally be suited to a dressage home where an amateur wants to have success at areas and regionals. With training he would go up through the levels but to date had only done prelim and amateur scoring high 60 to low 70% with very little work before hand due to it being winter and having no facilities so with work these scores would easily improve !

He is a sweet loving horse who is easy to work with and will live in or out but does prefer to be out ! He does like a routine as such but once he gets into your routine he is easy.

He can be ridden after a month off with no issue and doesn’t need to be in regular work to compete.

He happily takes the side saddle so would easily do this dressage.

This has been a very hard decision but unfortunetly my health is making having multiple horses unrealistic. He will be unbelievably missed.

We are based Dumfries Scotland but he is currently with a friend in Kirriemuir.

Some movement for easy quick decisions.

Have you ever seen a prettier head? Sparkles truly speaks for herself – a stunning little lady standing at 15.3–16hh, making her the perfect step up from ponies or an ideal partner for a petite adult rider looking for quality and class.

Sparkles is the definition of a push-button horse. She’s a “point and steer” type who will take you to a fence on any stride, giving her rider total confidence. Honest and genuine, she is unfazed by fillers, rustic fences, brush, cross-country questions, and coloured poles. She’s the kind you can trust – an absolute amateur’s dream.

Comfortably competitive at 1.05 - 1.10 which would be her ideal level, and happily schools over 1.30m at home for fun. She loves her job and always gives her best.

Kind, gentle, and never marish, Sparkles has a lovely, easy-going nature. She’s more of a “leg-on” ride but always takes you forward positively.

• Perfect in traffic
• Happy living in a mixed herd
• Calm and consistent at competitions
• Relaxed attitude – knows her job inside out

A PC mother’s dream and a rider’s best friend. Sparkles is ready to bring home the ribbons and confidence to her next partner.

Sad sale of the lovely Issy. She has competed with amateur rider around 1m taking part in national finals etc and being a fantastic first horse and she’d absolutely do this again. However she also has got scope there to step up to some bigger tracks with the right rider.

Issy is snaffle mouthed and a very polite ride. She likes a bit of leg there but isn’t lazy. Likes to leave all the fences up and is honest and helps out where she can.

She is so easy and kind on the ground to do everything with. And a total pleasure to have on the yard and manage. Great with clipping, loading, travelling and everything that makes her super easy for even the non horsey parents!

On the flat she schooled up to PSG level as a young horse. Is a very impressive mover and knows her work!

Never been sick or sorry.

Her only quirk is she doesn’t like hacking alone but is great in company. Doesn’t hot up in open spaces etc.

Perfect RC allrounder, mother / daughter share, pleasure horse with the most wonderful golden temperament

Rosie is a16h rising 14 year old registered Irish draught chestnut mare. She is incredibly well bred with classic vision and ginger dick directly In her pedigree. She resembles more of an Irish sport horse model but she still has a nice amount of bone and a good depth of girth without being heavy. She is a lovely rich golden colour that glistens in the sunlight beautifully.

She has excellent conformation, clean limbs and very straight movement. She is very eye catching with her lovely rich colour, kind eye, easy going temperament, good conformation, athletic stamp, and cracking ridability. She is a firm yard favourite; everyone who meets her just loves her.

She is a very fun safe alrounder who excels all disciplines and would make the perfect mother/ daughter share, riding club alrounder/ or quality pleasure horse. Horses like Rosie do not come along very often, she is the type very hard to find.

Rosie has 3 super paces which are very correct and well balanced. She is a very straight forward ride who really looks after her rider, she's not the spooky/sharp type. She is a lovely medium speed being nicely responsive to transitions and nicely forward going. She would suit most riders as she is completely uncomplicated. She works in a relaxed natural outline and is always snaffle mouthed. She is nicely schooled on the flat up to elementary level at home with a lovely leg yield, shoulder in and medium trot. She has done some unaffiliated prelim dressage tests where she always receives very promising comments and good scores in the high 60's. She finds her work very easy and she is very light footed on her feet with a real leg in each corner. She is lovely to work with as she always wants to please her rider.

Rosie loves her jumping and is very bold. She makes a super shape over a fence and is very careful, she rarely touches a pole. She nicely takes her rider into the fence. She will jump from trot or canter. She helps her rider out if presented to the fence on the wrong stride. She has jumped round 80cm courses with scope so could jump bigger. She hasn't been over jumped though as her previous owner used to mainly school and hack her. She would excel in a riding club home where she could do sj and pole work clinics. She has also been xc schooling which she loves.

Rosie is a brilliant hack, very safe and very enjoyable. She happily hacks out alone and in company. She is excellent in traffic, she has previously crossed a busy 'a' road roundabout and patiently waited until it is clear to cross. She isn't fazed by lorries passing her etc. However she isn't keen on tractors, so we just pull into a driveway where she calmly stands and waits for it to pass her. She is great in open spaces and sensible. She prefers to be in front when you go for a canter. She has been on long 10 mile hacks and has previously done pleasure rides. She has also been to Holkham beach which she loved and was so much fun. She really is so chilled out and you can really relax on her and enjoy yourself. She loves her hacking very much and is a super safe confidence giving who is nicely forward going.

Rosie has an exceptional quiet temperament, she isn't your usual chestnut mare. She is very quiet to handle and is very polite. She is a very kind and friendly girl who can safely be handled by everyone including children and non-horsey people. She is such an easy girl to have around, she is excellent in all ways to handle, and is regularly brought in from the field by children. She leads like a dog and isn't fazed by anything. She currently stables over night and goes out during the day but also does the reverse during the summer. She loves a routine. She is such a lovely girl who is worth her weight in gold!

Rosie must go to a 10* home where she will be loved and enjoyed. She will make an excellent riding club alrounder or pleasure horse . She really is a lovely genuine girl. She recently passed a 5 stage vetting and xrays that can come with her.

£12,500 based in Ramsey, Cambs.

  • Gentle Giant Dressage School Master.

Melman has been competing at BD Elementary(BD HALONA BUBBALICIOUS), training at home up to Advanced Medium with ease.

His main discipline is Dressage, but has done occasional jump/XC schooling which he has been genuine and fun.

Melman is a true workhorse with a heart of gold. A gentle giant, he is trainable, sensible, and an absolute pleasure to be around. He has a fantastic attitude – not sharp, always willing – and is perfect for a rider looking for a reliable, well-mannered, and established horse.

He hacks confidently alone or in company, is polished at home, and performs consistently in the competition arena. He has also enjoyed some jump schooling and cross-country.

We are much more amateur dressage riders than he is used to and his teaching us the ropes!

Important note: Melman makes a noise in his wind and is therefore not suited for hunting or sustained fast work. He has, however, passed a full 5-stage vetting for general riding and dressage, which is fully reflected in his value.

Despite this, he remains a fantastic, versatile, and well-established dressage horse, ideal for a rider seeking a safe, trainable, and genuinely enjoyable partner.

Serious inquiries only – a horse like Melman is very hard to find.

15.1hh TRADITIONAL SHOW COB

  • Reserve Supreme Novice At CHAPS Championships

  • Amateur Home-Produced Substantial Cob
  • Qualified For Royal International 2024 + 2025
  • Reserve Supreme Novice At CHAPS Championships
Very sad sale of ‘Ted’ after a fantastic six years together due to my up and coming youngsters coming out under saddle - I sadly do not have time for them all and do not have the capacity to show two coloureds in the same section

It took me two years to source a traditional of this size, substance and colour, eventually finding him in Ireland as a raw 5 year old. Traditionals of his size and quality are very few and far between.

Ted is very low mileage being backed and broken in at 5, then spent a couple of quiet years hacking due to covid restrictions. He has then had four show seasons, two novice years which concluded on winning the novice final at CHAPS championships then standing reserve supreme novice. The past two seasons he has competed at county level, qualifying for the Royal International Horse Show both in 2024 (where he finished 5th) and in 2025

Ted is home produced by myself (an amateur), and enjoys hacking, plus work in the menage, clinics etc. He is good with tractors, cyclists and other vehicles whilst hacking on the road. He does not need tonnes of work, during the show season he gets worked on average 3 times per week, and he does not take hours of warming up at shows

Ted is a lovely forward ride, he is not a plod, he really covers the ground and enjoys a big show ring. He has taken me to Hickstead and around several evening performances at championship shows. On his two appearances at RIHS, we didn’t even go for a school round the night before our class, he just relaxed in his stable and we went down to the ring just before our class the next day

He enjoys living out in summer on good grass and I show him from the field. He is stabled overnight in winter and is happy to have duvet days during bad weather. He has no stable vices, he does not kick the door, crib, weave etc. He is a substantial cob with masses of mane, tail and feather which I have taken great care of to keep the hair in excellent condition for showing.

He is fully up to date with farrier, vaccinations and the dentist. He is CHAPS, BSPA and TGCA registered.

Ted would suit a competent, firm but kind rider and handler - perhaps another competitive amateur like myself with experience of riding and handling big cobs or natives.

He is available with his made to measure Fiona Cork show saddle and show bridle. No novices, happy hackers, nervous or timewasters please.
