It’s taken me all summer to finally write this as I simply love this horse but with ‘Taylor’s’ jockey heading off on travels before uni, it’s time to find him his next loving home.

Well mannered & confidence giving, he’s perfect for someone looking to step up to horses or alternatively wanting to step down to something safer but still fun. He is light in the mouth & responsive to the aids.

Taylor has done a bit of everything between my son & daughter (18 & 14) over the last two years inc camps & eventing clinics at Somerford & Greenlands EC, PC & NSEA - qualifying for national champs & placing 2nd in Novice plate final with new 12yr old rider.

He loves XC (Badminton grassroots prospect).
Bred to jump (I’m told his half sister won European gold league) yet we’ve only asked up to 90cm of him out & up to 1m15 at home.
He’s even done some archery - my son’s favoured discipline.

100% barefoot, good with farrier, vet, clip etc.
Does not weave or wind suck & is a dream to load (box or trailer).
Is not spooky & has never been known to spin or bolt.

He prefers company in the field and is equally content with mares or geldings.

He really is the best of horses to handle & hack out. Not a nasty bone in his body & never had a day off sick/ unsound. Full history known. No medical issues but will only go somewhere with access to adequate year round turnout.

Daisy is a 9 year old 15.3 mare with a temperament to die for. She has done a bit of everything including jumping, dressage, x country, hunting, hacking.

She is very safe and not spooky, snaffle mouthed for everything and never strong or naughty.

She has a beautiful little jump and has jumped 80/90cm at shows. She stays in the same rhythm to and from the jump and is very easy to ride to a fence.

Daisy is a great mix between not being a kick along but not being sharp off the leg, and is very comfy to ride.

She would be super for a child’s first off of ponies, or an adult wanting to have fun. She would be great for PC, riding club as is a schoolmistress type. Hacks out alone and in company. You can ride her with a contact or on the buckle and she stays lovely and level.

She is easy to catch load clip shoe etc. no medical history of vices. Fit sound ready to make someone very happy.

Nev is a 16.1 14 year old ID x gelding who we have owned since he was 6. We are looking for a confident lightweight rider who enjoys doing a bit of everything. Nev has been out to lots of clinics and competitions including competing up to elementary dressage with scores over 71% and plenty of wins and placings at prelim/novice dressage.

Nev is very honest with his jumping and will happily pop round a course of showjumps or around a xc course. He’s not bothered by fillers or water trays etc, we haven’t done loads of jumping as I prefer flat work however he really enjoys his jumping. He has done some eventing with double clears and SJ competitions, won at 80cm clear round.

He hacks alone and in company and is good with traffic and farm machinery. He has gone out on sponsored rides usually with just one other horse and been great on all occasions. He is good to lead off.

We have also done loads of work on the ground including liberty work/natural horsemanship and bridleless - he is amazing with this and appears to really enjoy it, I would love it if I could find someone who would continue this with him.

He works best with a single rider partnership and thrives off having a good routine. He is probably not ideal as a first horse or for a novice rider but with the right person he is great fun. He does have a buck in him but this is definitely not a regular thing.

He is great with farrier/dentist/clipping etc and loads and travels really well. Good with children, chickens, dogs, peacocks, deer, pheasants and Shetlands! Very sad sale so a good home is very important. References available and lots of photos and videos available on request. Open to vetting.
