Morris (Tremadoc)
16.3hh Dark Bay Gelding | 2011 | Grand Prix Schoolmaster

Morris is a 16.3hh dark bay gelding bred at the well-known Preci-Spark Stud in Leicestershire by the stallion Miners Lamp. He has been produced and competed by the same rider since the age of five, progressing from Prelim all the way through to Grand Prix, enjoying a long and successful career along the way.

Together we have had numerous wins and placings throughout the levels and many memorable highlights. Morris has competed extensively at the Petplan Area Festivals, including winning the Elementary Bronze Final at Hartpury and finishing 2nd in the PSG Silver Final at Arena UK. He has also been placed at PSG Gold and Inter I Regionals, narrowly missing qualification for the Nationals on both occasions, and has competed successfully at Premier League and High Profile shows at PSG and Inter I level.

In addition to his career with me, Morris has also been successfully ridden by lighter riders. He has been competed by my wife, a petite lady rider, who qualified for and competed at the Medium Gold Regionals, finishing in the top 10, and more recently he has also been ridden and competed by one of my students, also a petite lady rider. This demonstrates his genuine rideability and willingness to work with different riders.

Morris has an outstanding temperament and is exceptionally easy to manage in every way. He is a pleasure to have on the yard, straightforward to handle and a genuine favourite. He loads and travels happily (often walking onto the lorry himself), stands quietly to be clipped, and is relaxed and enjoyable to hack both alone and in company.

Although extremely sensible and safe, Morris is not a completely push-button ride in the arena and can sometimes be tricky to get fully on the bit. For this reason he would be best suited to a junior, young rider or knowledgeable amateur with good feel who would enjoy learning from a horse trained to the highest level.

Morris is a very special horse who has given us an incredible journey from young horse to Grand Prix and now deserves to continue his career with someone who will appreciate his experience and generous character.

Attractive, well-schooled Irish Sports Horse with a genuine competition background looking for a new home due to a change in rider circumstances.

Previously evented to BE Novice as a 5 & 6 year old, before going on to compete successfully in British Dressage up to Medium level. With me he has been enjoying a quieter lifestyle doing Riding Club activities and plenty of hacking.

He is a very smart, eye-catching horse who would suit someone wanting a quality hack, Riding Club horse or showing prospect, and he would also make an excellent escort horse out with children.

He hacks confidently alone or in company and is well-schooled with a lovely way of going.

Approved for Riding Club Prelim competition for 2026.

Easy to manage
• Good to shoe, clip, load and travel
• Travels well (currently in an EquiTrek)
• Good to handle and straightforward on the yard
• Vaccinations and teeth up to date

He sustained a tendon injury in early 2025. There are no visible blemishes or splints and full veterinary records are available.

He can weave at feed time or when stressed, which is easily managed with a V-grill on the stable door.

He is a lovely ride with plenty of quality, but as a former competition horse he can have the occasional sharp moment, so he is not suitable for a novice rider.

This is a very sad sale as a health issue now prevents me from riding and he is far too young and talented to be wasted in the field.

This lovely big mare by pethers moon is smart, good looking and stands out in any crowd.

Peppa has done just about everything.

She has raced, team chased and hunted with her previous owners.

I bought her to produce and then help her find her perfect home.

I have been out show jumping, to somerford park farm ride, Cannock chase and hacked out alone and in company.

She just seems to get on with everything you throw at her.

I have also been concentrating on her flat work. Walk and trot she stays in a lovely outline. Her canter is coming on well.

She has had her teeth done, is fully vaccinated new shoes are on so Is ready for her next chapter in her life.

She has a scar on her back leg where she was kicked at her previous home which does not affect her performance in any way.

I have lots of pictures and videos of her that I can send on request.

This horse will be perfect for someone who wants to get out there, turn heads and hae lots of fun.

  • Kind, sensible and easy to handle. Hacks alone or in company and is a pleasure to ride daily!

Real Touch by Touchdown, stable name Arty.

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that Arty is offered for sale due to his owner’s ongoing health issues. This is a truly sad and reluctant decision, and finding him the right home is of the utmost importance.

Arty is a striking 17hh Irish Sports Horse who has been there, seen it and got the T-shirt. He is a genuine, established schoolmaster with a wealth of experience and a kind, giving nature. He has been in consistent work and is fit and ready to continue enjoying an active life.

On the flat, Arty is well schooled with correct, established paces and consistently produces pleasing dressage scores. He works in a soft, balanced outline and understands his job well, making him a confidence-giver for someone wanting to progress.

He absolutely adores his jumping, whether that’s coloured poles, cross country or fun rides. He is bold and genuine to a fence and enjoys his work, always taking his rider confidently to a jump.

Hacking-wise, he is a pleasure. He will happily go alone or in company and is sensible and mannerly out and about. On the ground he is lovely to handle, polite, and easy to do in all ways.

Arty would suit a confident rider looking for a true schoolmaster to learn from and enjoy. He will look after his rider, but as a sensitive type he does appreciate reassurance at times, so would benefit from someone calm and assured.

Arty is good to load and currently travels happily in a trailer, both alone and in company. He has also previously travelled in horseboxes without issue. He stands well for the farrier and is easy to do with his feet. He is also good to bath and stands quietly at the wash off area.

This is a special horse looking for a knowledgeable, loving home where he can continue to feel valued and enjoyed.

Serious enquiries only please, this is a heartbreaking sale of a much-loved horse.

A super opportunity to purchase a very safe and genuine grassroots schoolmistress.

Jessica is a 16.2hh, 11-year-old chestnut mare who has proven herself out competing, having won at Pony Club eventing. She has spent her life in a Pony Club and unaffiliated home, giving her a fantastic, varied education and making her the straightforward mare she is today. She has also been happily ridden by a tiny 10-year-old boy, which speaks volumes about her kind temperament and genuine nature.

She is brave, honest and consistent, always wanting to please her rider. She would make an ideal partner for someone looking to compete at affiliated grassroots level, continue with Pony Club, or enjoy as a competitive all-rounder. She would be a perfect mother–daughter share and very much the type you feel happy and confident to put your child on.

On the flat, Jessica is well established with auto flying changes and good basic lateral movements. She has a level, rhythmical canter that you could sit on all day, making her incredibly comfortable and easy to ride.

With her experience and attitude, she would be a fantastic contender for Badminton Grassroots, offering a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious rider aiming for championship goals. She is worth her weight in gold and exactly the sort that is so hard to find.

She is a kind, straightforward ride who gives confidence without being sharp or silly. Snaffle-mouthed and sensible, she is happy to go out and do her job.

Easy to do in all ways – good to shoe, clip, load, travel and handle. A lovely mare to have on the yard with a kind temperament.

Jessica is ready to continue having fun with her next rider. A genuine mare looking for a 5* home.

Serious enquiries only. Please message/call for further details.

Carefully and correctly produced with low mileage for his age, Jack is a classy, experienced 14-year-old with a superb temperament and plenty to offer his next rider.

He successfully finished at 3* level last season and most recently out showjumping 1.20m preparing for the season ahead. Previously competed up to Foxhunter (1.20/1.30m) with consistent double clears. Consistent dressage scores in the low 30’s.

Jack is a genuine, brave and straightforward ride who makes the job feel easy. Flashy on the flat, bold and careful over a fence, and extremely honest and polite cross-country.

He has the experience and mileage to give a rider enormous confidence, whether stepping down the levels to teach or continuing to compete.

Easy to do in every way, a real Gentelman on the yard and out hacking.

Suitable For:
Ambitious YR / PC / RC / Cotswold Cup riders seeking a proven, experienced, safe partner to progress with confidence.

Equally, he would suit a knowledgeable and capable rider wanting a quality horse with mileage to enjoy and continue competing.

Best suited to a secure, balanced rider comfortably jumping 90cm / 1m and ready to move forward.

I purchased Jack directly from his breeder as a 5-year-old and he has been an exceptional partner. This is a very sad sale due to a genuine change in personal circumstances, and he will only be available to the very best home.

16.1hh | 13yo Mare | Sport Horse GB | By Royaldik

Rosie is a talented and experienced Novice / 2* event mare with numerous placings and consistent double clears throughout her career. She is a genuine, competitive horse who would be ideally suited to a competent and ambitious U18 or junior rider looking to gain experience at Novice level and aim for U18 champs.

Owned since a 2-year-old, Rosie has been carefully produced by a competent amateur rider and had been established and competitive at Novice level for the last few seasons.

Rosie is consistent at Novice level and has the experience to take a junior rider around their first Novices, she is exceptionally honest and genuine across country, and is quick-thinking, bold and very clever with her feet. She is very easy to ride through technical combinations, skinnies and corners, always looking for the flags and helping her rider out when needed. Her ability to adjust and sort herself out would make her a fantastic partner for a good under 18 jockey.

This is a very sad sale of a much-loved horse, only due to lack of time to give her the opportunities she deserves. Rosie thrives in a competitive environment and would make a fantastic partner for a rider wanting to learn the ropes at Novice / 2*. She has also taken part in lots of activities alongside her eventing such as camps, beach rides and teamchasing. She is great to take out and about on her own or with another horse and hacks out alone, in company or riding and leading. Good to clip, box and shoe etc.

She will only be sold to the very best of homes, where she can continue doing the job she loves.

Gorgeous 16.2 mare. We bought her for my daughter after a few negative experiences with a green horse to build her confidence, which she has done and more.

She has competed at PC nationals in show jumping and ODE, came third as part of a team at Hickstead in the 1m arena eventing. She has brought home so many ribbons and virtually guarantees my daughter a clear round every time. It has been so much fun and we can’t wait for her next jockey to be as successful on her.

She is a dream and we are only selling because said daughter has the pressure of A-levels and not enough time for her horse.

Will stand quietly while you plait, clip or for the farrier. Good to load. Teeth and vaccinations up to date.

My daughter takes Willow hunting where she behaves impeccably and will keep going all day. She hacks out alone or in company and has never been “marish”.

She really is one in a million and if you’re looking for a safe, fun, capable and careful mount Willow you search is over!
