Very sad sale of our much-loved 15.2hh, 11-year-old gelding, out of Cartoon M’Aurea Z.

A genuine, fun little horse who has been part of our family since he was 4 years old, so finding him the right home is incredibly important to us.

He is a brilliant allrounder and would make an ideal mother/daughter share, or suit someone wanting a safe, sensible horse to enjoy and have fun with.

He is definitely more woah than go and isn't the type that needs riding every day. He's a lovely confidence-giving sort, making him ideal for someone who wants to enjoy their horse without anything too sharp or silly.

Misty has a super loving temperament, well mannered , she is a lovely person and she is very polite on the ground.

Fantastic to hack alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic.. perfect in open spaces and you can jump logs and ditches on her out hacking, you can open and close gates on her and is perfect with sheep / cows/dogs/ walkers etc...

We have took her X country / training shows at different venues.

Misty loves her jumping and is very honest and brave , she jumps whatever is in front of her and is happy to trot or canter in to her jumps ..

Cassie is the most genuine mare with a huge heart. She has a lovely quiet well mannered temperament, she is wiling and honest and always try’s to please her rider.

Cassie loves Hacking, she goes out for miles across the fields and up the woods jumping logs and ditches … you can open and close gates on her, she has seen cows/sheep/donkeys etc.. she hacks out in the heaviest of traffic on her own and in company, never silly or spooky.

Cassie rides beautiful on the Flat , has a lovely steady canter , well schooled , walk to canter etc.. she stands at the block while you get on and always snaffle mouthed.

She has been a dream and so much fun! She is super sensible to jump and very easy. She loved going in the water at X country!

Cassie has previously jumped up to 1m in Ireland and Eventing ,we have took her to different Venues doing Show jumping / X Country/ Sponsored Rides , She loads and travels perfect and she is happy to stand around quietly at a show.

Cassie is a lovely horse to have around the yard, great with dogs and children and another horses. Cassie is turned out with another’s in the field and she is not a mareish mare at all.

Carrick Aldato Girl (Cabbage) is a very talented mare who has taken me from Novice to Inter 1 in only a few years.

Cabbage would excel in a Junior/Young Rider/COH competition home. Equally, she is very straightforward and would take her new rider up the levels and teach them all the tricks.

Cabbage has had numerous area festival wins from Novice to inter 1. She also competed and placed Top 10 at the national championships in PSG Silver and Inter 1 Silver 2025 at Somerford.

Cabbage has also been through pony club, competing at the championships in tetrathlon (cross country) and dressage.

Cabbage has been my dream horse and only for sale due to her rider needing to focus on starting a non-horsey career. She really is an all-rounder and her dressage career only started a few years ago. Previously, Cabbage evented competitively up to 2* and enjoys jumping at home for fun, but ultimately the dressage is where her talent excels.

We are looking for a 15.2hh to 16.3hh that loves to jump and is genuine to a fence.

Our daughter mainly show jumps BS but if horse also enjoys a bit of xc and arena eventing here and there that’s an added bonus but not essential.

She has jumped up to junior newcomers and is a calm, capable rider. She is now looking to move on to seniors. She has regular training with great coaches and comes from an experienced horsey family. Age of horse irrelevant as long as has an honest outlook and a bit of scope.

We can offer a long term, loving, experienced home. We keep our horses at home and they want for nothing. We have stables with lots of turnout and we can cater for most needs. We ideally want something that is at least happy to hack out in company as we have lovely quiet hacking.

Horse must travel well. We are in the south west but will travel within reason. Slight quirks/ailments considered but must be disclosed.

Happy to wait for however long if you aren’t quite ready to move your lovely horse on yet.

Bailey is a 17hh, 15-year-old gelding who has successfully evented up to CCI3*. I have had Bailey for 10 years and learnt everything along the way together, he has so much still to give but is sadly being wasted at home with me.

He is now looking for a dressage, riding club, fun rides or happy hacking home. He has lost his confidence in the show jumping phase when out on loan 2022-2024, so I am not looking for a show jumping home, but someone who will enjoy everything else this lovely horse has to offer.

Dusty is a striking 9-year-old chestnut gelding by Billy Tudor (Cevin Z) out of a cavalier Royale mare.

He began his eventing career in August last year and has finished in the top seven in all five of his BE100 starts to date. He won his first GO100 at Bicton despite never having previously seen a cross-country fence or dressage boards.

Most recently, Dusty led his dressage section with an impressive score of 24.8. He would make an ideal grassroots or U18s horse, while also having the scope and ability to progress up the levels in the future, as he is still very much at the beginning of his eventing career. Clear XC Bicton Novice earlier this month. Will continue eventing whilst on the market and will aim for a 2* at the end of this season.

Prior to eventing, Dusty competed successfully in showjumping up to 1.30m, so he could equally return to pure showjumping if desired.

Sandy is a lovely, genuine and straightforward horse who has been an absolute pleasure to own. She has been my first horse and has helped me progress my riding and, most importantly, build my confidence. She has also been ridden by my young sons and has been a wonderful, reassuring horse for the whole family.

Sandy is polite and easy to handle on the ground, with no stable vices. She is good for the farrier (currently has fronts on), dentist and vet and is fully up to date with her teeth, feet and vaccinations. She is good to groom and pick her feet, she loves a bath and a groom. She is excellent to load and travel and she is currently ridden 4 times a week.

Sandy has done plenty of schooling and hacking with us and has really enjoyed getting out and about. She has been to arena hires, pole clinics, forest hacks and weekend confidence clinics, all of which she loves. She has recently jumped unaffiliated up to 80cm and enjoys popping over a small course out hacking. In her previous home, she regularly took part in cross-country courses.

She is a kind, genuine horse who enjoys getting out, having fun and trying new things. She has been a fantastic confidence-giver for me and has given our family so many happy memories. She has a lovely attitude to life and is the sort of horse who is happiest when she is out doing something with her person.

This is a very sad sale of a super horse. The difficult decision to sell is simply because I don't feel I can continue to give Sandy the time and attention she deserves. I have 2 young horses at home who are taking up lots of my time and sadly my sons have lost interest in riding. With bringing on the younger horses, along with family and work commitments, I know that going forwards I won't be able to give Sandy the time and opportunities she deserves. I would love to find her a kind, knowledgeable home where she can continue to be enjoyed, loved and have lots of adventures.

16.3 12 year old Irish sport horse gelding. An easy to do all round riding club, hunting, competition horse.

Black Hill Gunner 16.3 12 years ISH gelding. Gunner has been in the same home for the last 5 years. 

He has a varied CV making him a good allrounder. Successfully competed in Dressage to prelim. Show jumping, XC, arena eventing, camps, ODE’s, funrides and hunting. To hack out Gunner is bombproof in all traffic and happily hacks alone and in company, happy to be on the buckle or step it up and take the lead. He’s snaffle mouthed. 

Has great manners on the ground and loves a fuss, he’s a BFG! He’s good to catch, clip and shoe. 

Gunner is a very straightforward ride and most of the time a laid back boy but can be keen in exciting scenarios, for example hunting he likes to be upfront (can do an excited buck if held behind at the back) and also at busy XC clinics he tends to liven up. He has absolutely no malice in him just enjoys the buzz of XC and hunting but still just goes in a snaffle. However at competitions he remains his usual chilled self. For this reason he isn’t for a total novice but my 8 year niece has ridden him and he’s been saint. 

He would bring on and show the ropes to a confident less experienced rider or continue being a competitive riding club horse. 

He has a small sarcoid on his chest which has been there a while and not changed or needed treatment. He has no vices or medical issues other than sarcoid. 

This is a heartbreaking sale for his owner so a fabulous home is priority for this lovely chap. He’s a big horse, can have the odd spook and does better in a routine over the winter as does get fresh if stabled lots with no turnouts/work. 

Currently owned and ridden by a petite (5’2) rider so would suit someone smaller or taller. He comes with his fitted saddle and bridle. He’s open to any vetting.
