Bambi is incredibly well schooled, she rides entirely off the seat & leg meaning that whatever she can do with a bridle, she can also do without! She is always ridden in a snaffle.

To jump she is absolutely phenomenal. She is incredibly careful, stays in a lovely rhythm, doesn’t rush to a jump and will happily take a miss.

She has trained around 1.20 courses but is most comfortable & competitive up to 1.10 - we always come away with frillies at shows!

Quick in a jump off when asked - I’ve had lots of fun with some crazy turns and she always takes it in her stride and locks onto the next jump.

She hasn’t been out recently as I’m struggling to find time to ride her.

Brilliant feet, (shod in front, barefoot behind) could easily go barefoot in front.

Good to clip, shoe, load, dentist etc. Very laidback to handle around the yard - leads in without a headcollar, gets ridden out to the field bareback. Lives in a mixed herd.

Perfect to hack alone or in company in all traffic (we hack on a lorry road), always on the buckle and the confidence giver for other horses on a hack.

Never been lame, sick or sorry. Don’t be put off by her age - I know her full history and she has never been pushed. Not showing any signs of slowing down!

Bambi is not suitable for a nervous rider. She is perfectly relaxed and easy to ride for a confident rider, however she can pick up on a rider’s nerves and become tense.

She does have mild headshaking syndrome but this has never affected her work - she’s absolutely fine in the winter and just needs to wear a nose net in the summer.

Her only vice is that she cribs. This has never been a problem for us, we put a wooden bar on her stable door so that she can crib as she pleases and replace it every couple of years when she wears through it. She has never had any other issues stemming from the cribbing. I don’t want her going to someone who will put a collar on her or try to stop her.

Very honest sale and only to go to the best of homes who we hope to stay in touch with - there is the opportunity for continued coaching from myself for someone local! Only for sale as I’ve just got too many horses and don’t have the time to ride her, would absolutely love to keep her.

This little horse has been a super star for my riding career and will only be available to the absolute RIGHT home. She restored my confidence in horse life and I have had a lot of fun with her over the years. However, I am now concentrating on my dressage career and do not have time to run 2 horses. She loves jumping and is a super star at 70/80 and 90 if you were gutsy.

She is a fabulous hack and fun ride horse too. Totally fine with traffic and in open fields. Used to children, dogs balloons, parties etc. Has done umpteen RC lessons, clinics, camps. Easy to take out on your own. Might suit a teenager who wasn't over ambitious as she is happy at the level she does. She isn't exactly strong, but she does think she knows best.

She can do some really super flat work but this is NOT her preferred discipline. She would ideally suit an older adult who wants to have fun at RC and has some horse experience. Perfect for an older ride who doesn't want any shenanigans!

Did BE eventing before I had her and has taken me round hunter trails and little events but this is not MY love. SHE really enjoys xc. She does need her weight managing, so needs careful grazing and stabling. She is currently 19 years young with no health or shoeing issues.

Zeus

The ultimate allrounder who can truly turn his hoof to anything. Zeus is a classy, genuine horse with a wealth of experience and a lovely temperament to match. He offers three exceptionally comfortable paces, a beautifully balanced way of going, and the most wonderful rocking horse canter that makes him a pleasure to ride. Adores his flat work and rides like a show horse, he’s the type you could sit on for hours. He has done it all, dressage, showjumping, Xc, hunting, forest rides, sponsored rides, fun rides, and plenty of hacking. He absolutely loves water and throughly enjoying a swim in the river.

To a fence, Zeus is a true point and steer type, incredibly genuine, committed, and happy to go from any stride. He gives his rider enormous confidence, always wanting to help rather than question.

In the hunting field, Zeus is an absolute machine. He adores working with the hounds, stands beautifully at the meet, and is the ultimate ditch jumper. He is equally happy to thrust into action on a big county day or to sit back and enjoy a quieter, smaller day. He’ll happily sit anywhere in the field and behaves impeccably throughout.

Although Zeus is straightforward, kind, and easy to ride, he would be wasted in a novice home simply because he has so much to offer. He is a responsive ride and therefore wouldn’t suit an unbalanced novice who kicks rather than squeezes. 

He hacks happily alone or in company and is a real gentleman in every way. Outside of the arena, he has always been ridden in a rubber pelham, which he enjoys and goes beautifully in, staying light and responsive in the hand across all disciplines. He will, of course, go in a snaffle, but is simply a nicer ride in his preferred setup.

On the ground, Zeus is every bit as kind as he is ridden, he loves people, children, and other animals, and is a true gentleman to handle. (We call him the cuddle monster!) A genuine, honest horse who takes care of his rider and will offer someone a lifetime of fun, confidence, and enjoyment.

Zeus has had sarcoids removed in the past. They have not affected his performance, comfort, or ability to enjoy a varied and active life. This is an honest disclosure for knowledgeable buyers, but certainly does not take away from what an exceptional all-round horse he is. A minor consideration in what is otherwise a golden opportunity to have a horse like Zeus in your life.
