She is a lovely medium speed being nicely responsive to transitions and nicely forward going. She would suit a range of riders as she is uncomplicated. She works in a relaxed natural outline and is snaffle mouthed. She is nicely schooled on the flat up to elementary level at home with a lovely leg yield and walk to canter. She has done some unaffiliated prelim dressage tests where she always receives very promising comments and good scores in the high 60's. She is a nice school master who gives her rider a lot of fun and makes you feel safe. She is lovely to work with as she always wants to please her rider.

Custard loves her jumping and is very bold. She makes a super scopey shape over a fence and is very careful, she rarely touches a pole. She goes up a gear for jumping as she thoroughly enjoys it but she is still snaffle mouthed and very safe. She nicely takes you into the fence and is very genuine and honest (never stops). She helps her rider out if presented to the fence on the wrong stride. She has jumped round 100cm courses in the past, recently she has been jumping up to 80cm as her current owner is a very nervous jumper. Custard is equally as amazing at xc. She jumps everythin g asked of her including ditches and water complexes. She’s a real bold, fun jumper who just loves her job. She would excel in a riding club home where she could do some sj, xc and pole work clinics. She would also make a super riding club level eveter as she is good at every discipline.

Custard is a good hack, she happily hacks out alone and in company. She is great with traffic, just not keen on large lorries and tractors so we just pull into a driveway where she stands rock solid and waits for it to pass her. She is good in open spaces and sensible. She has attended lots of fun rides in the past which she loves. She loves her hacking very much and is safe, forward going and lots of fun. She has also hunted in her younger years so would also be ideal to take out hunting over the winter.

Custard has an exceptional friendly temperament. She is very quiet and polite to handle. She is a very kind and friendly girl who can safely be handled by everyone including children and non-horsey people. She loves to be groomed and pampered. She is such an easy girl to have around, she is excellent in all ways to handle. On the yard he is super easy to do, good to stable, groom, shoe, clip. He has lived out but really he prefers his creature comforts and a stable to come into when the weather gets unpleasant!

He can turnout out with others or in individual paddocks. He forms bonds with other horses easily.

He is up to date with his vaccinations, shod every 5/6 weeks. Up to date with teeth and physio.

He is a pleasure to hack alone or in company. Easy in open spaces and enjoys a controlled canter without getting fizzy. Good with traffic. He has been known to have a look at cattle and sheep due to having spent most of his life hacking around arable land. This involves just looking though nothing nasty. I have never known him to rear or buck.

He can do a little light schooling and is great for helping a rider to understand feel one connection. He has all the lateral moves established as you would expect for a horse of his level. However I think his flying changes days are probably over.
