Perfect RC allrounder, mother / daughter share, pleasure horse with the most wonderful golden temperament

Rosie is a16h rising 14 year old registered Irish draught chestnut mare. She is incredibly well bred with classic vision and ginger dick directly In her pedigree. She resembles more of an Irish sport horse model but she still has a nice amount of bone and a good depth of girth without being heavy. She is a lovely rich golden colour that glistens in the sunlight beautifully.

She is not at all your typical chestnut mare, she is the sweetest mare we have ever met with such a kind honest temperament, she acts like a gelding as she is so easy going. She has excellent conformation, clean limbs and very straight movement. She is very eye catching with her lovely rich colour, kind eye, easy going temperament, perfect conformation, athletic stamp, and cracking ridability. She is a firm yard favourite; everyone who meets her just loves her.

She is a very fun safe alrounder who excels all disciplines and would make the perfect mother/ daughter share, riding club alrounder/ low level eventer/ show jumper/ dressage horse/ or quality pleasure horse. Horses like Rosie do not come along very often, she is the type very hard to find.

Rosie has 3 super paces which are very correct and well balanced. She is a very straight forward ride who really looks after her rider, she's not the spooky/sharp type. She is a lovely medium speed being nicely responsive to transitions and nicely forward going. She is nice and easy to ride with super ridability, she would suit most riders as she is completely uncomplicated. She works in a relaxed natural outline and is always snaffle mouthed. She is nicely schooled on the flat up to elementary level at home with a lovely leg yield, shoulder in and medium trot. She and has done some unaffiliated dressage tests where she always receives very promising comments and good scores in the high 60's. She is more than ready to go out and affiliate at preliminary/novice level if her rider wishes. She finds her work very easy and she is very light footed on her feet with a real leg in each corner. She is lovely to work with as she always wants to please her rider.

Rosie loves her jumping and is very bold. She makes a super shape over a fence and is very careful, she rarely touches a pole. She nicely takes her rider into the fence. She will jump from trot or canter. She helps her rider out if presented to the fence on the wrong stride. She has jumped round 80/90cm courses with loads of scope so could jump bigger. She hasn't been over jumped though as her previous owner used to mainly school and hack her. She would excel in a riding club home where she could do sj clinics and competitions.

Rosie loves cross country schooling. She isn't at all strong or silly to ride, in fact she is a real comfidence giving safe ride. She has jumped a range of fences from timbres, hedges, combinations, fans, water jumps, ditches etc proving to be bold.

She has a lovley ground covering stride and can go on a gear if required. She has all of the foundations to make a super low level eventer as she is very good at all 3 disciplines. She will give someone hours of fun in a safe manner.

Rosie is a brilliant hack, very safe and very enjoyable. She happily hacks out alone and in company. She is excellent in traffic, she has previously crossed a busy 'a' road roundabout and patiently waited until it is clear to cross. She isn't fazed by lorries passing her etc. She is great in open spaces and sensible to canter, she will go in any order but does prefer cantering in front. She has been on long 10 mile hacks and has previously done pleasure rides. She has also been to Holkham beach which she loved and was so much fun. She really is so chilled out and you can really relax on her and enjoy yourself. She loves her hacking very much and is a super safe confidence giving who is nicely forward going.

Rosie has hunted several times in Ireland as a youngster where she was very bold over all of the jumping and very easy to ride within the field.

Rosie has an exceptional quiet temperament, she is very quiet to handle and is very polite. She is a very kind and friendly girl who can safely be handled by everyone including children and non-horsey people. She is such an easy girl to have around, she is excellent in all ways to handle, and is regularly brought in from the field by children. She leads like a dog and isn't fazed by anything. She happily lives in or out alone or in company. She is such a lovely girl who is worth her weight in gold!

She is sadly offeredfor sale through no fault of her own but due to her owners other horse becoming very clingy to Rosie which was causing problems for her owner. Passed a 5 stage vetting July 2025 that can come with her, has been very sound and healthy since.

Prior to this Rosie was owned by a mature lady where Rosie was very easy for her to do everything with for 7 years. Prior to this I owned her, so lots of history known.

Rosie must go to a 10* home where he will be loved and enjoyed. She will make an excellent riding club alrounder or pleasure horse . She would also make a safe sensible dressage horse for a more nervous rider. This is a sad sale as I have a real soft spot for this girl.

Elvis is a true competition schoolmaster with an impressive record and a huge amount of experience to offer. Bred by Michael Whitaker, he has successfully competed up to 1.20m, consistently producing confident, clear rounds – including a double clear at 1.20m just last week.

Bold, careful, and experienced, Elvis knows his job inside out. He is a forward, fun, and competitive ride who thrives in the ring and would suit a competent amateur or junior looking to step up with a genuine, well-produced partner.

Across country, Elvis is an absolute machine – bold, brave, and clever, making him ideal for team chasing or someone wanting a horse that loves to get out and have fun.

He is good to do in all ways – easy to handle, catch, shoe, load, clip, and travel. He has a superficial scar on his torso from a youthful scrape, purely cosmetic and with no effect on his performance or soundness.

Elvis is a kind, talented schoolmaster who’s still very much in his prime. He’s ready to give his next rider all the confidence, experience, and enjoyment they could wish for – whether in the showjumping ring, out eventing, or flying fences across the country

Rolo is an exceptionally athletic and eye-catching gelding with presence, quality and a modern sport horse silhouette. He combines proven ability with a kind temperament and is a real head-turner wherever he goes.

His movement is a standout feature, with flashy, uphill paces: a big over-tracking walk, an elastic trot and a comfortable, free-moving canter. On the flat he is soft and straightforward to ride, with an established flying change, counter canter and basic lateral work. In the right home, he would quickly progress to a respectable level in British Dressage, where his movement and rideability could really shine.

Rolo has previously showjumped with amateur riders up to 1.10m at major venues, showing plenty of scope and genuine bravery. True to his Heartbreaker breeding, he is light in the mouth and therefore requires a capable, sympathetic rider with soft hands. When given room at the fence, he jumps with excellent technique, bascule and scope.

He has the breeding and talent to jump big tracks, but needs an experienced rider to unlock his full potential. While he could continue in a jumping home, we genuinely feel a new career focused on dressage would allow him to excel and truly show off his quality.

Rolo is a beautiful, upstanding and powerful horse with an incredibly sweet nature. He is a yard favourite and a pleasure to have both in and out of the stable. He hacks alone and in company, is excellent in traffic, and is easy to manage day to day.

A very high-quality horse for his price, which reflects the need for an experienced home to continue his education.
No novice homes, please.

No stable vices.

NELL has an extensive CV there's nothing she hasn't turned her hoof to and not won ..
She has won 21 classes out of 28 starts in year 2025 alone not including winning 2 80cm unaffiliated championships as well.
Competed at Stoneleigh championships 25 and got into second rounds and placed both classes. Qualified for Hickstead sunshine tour 3 years in a row and won the arena eventing 70cm in 24 ..
She's got a fire in her belly you cannot train. She will jump just about anything. Amazing horse at a show or stay away with.

Nell is a workaholic always says yes.
She's done show jumping up to 90cm very successfully. Hunter trials, arena eventing, puissance, team chasing, ODE, dressage and fun rides.
She's looking to step down and stay competitive at 70 / 80 cm with a good jockey.. ideally a hunting/ hacking / showing low level all-rounder home.

She is not suitable for a child as she knows her trade and she is strong to ride. She's very forward going which for a decent rider fills you with confidence however a novice rider will get swallowed up !
Nell has absolutely nothing to prove and is an out and out schoolmater and will make you competitive. She rides from the seat and has brakes she is always taking you forward. She's the same to ride on any day regardless of weather / at a competition or after time off..

She's also a registered CHAPS tobiano.

Excellent to hack alone & in company in traffic and open fields she's no different whatsoever. Used to all livestock and lives in a small mixed herd. She's not a cuddly pony and enjoys her space but will do anything for a carrot.

Absolutely everything is up to date with her. She's fit as a fiddle and can be left for a holiday and pick fitness up quickly.
No blemishes or splints/ sarcoids / scars . No sweet itch / allergies .
She's 100% to bath, clip, load, catch , shoe etc.. in excellent condition and will need home where she will want for nothing .

Peter is a straightforward and genuine horse, he works nicely on the flat with three rhythmic balanced paces, rides correctly into the bridle with established changes. Always snaffle mouthed a great brain and a pleasure to work with, would produce a nice dressage test.

Jumping he is bold and brave with a scopey jump, doesn’t hold a grudge if the rider makes a mistake. Peter has been XC schooling where he really excelled himself totally unfazed by solid fences, jumping brushes, ditches, roll tops, steps and water with no hassle.

He loves to hack, weather that’s alone or in company, first or last. Good in traffic and open spaces, stays in a rhythm that the rider is comfortable with, never silly or strong.

Peter has been in an allrounder home with a teenager where they have done sj, dressage lots of hacking and some beach rides. Has been ridden by teenagers and competent novices proving how versatile he is, would suit a riding club or all round home safe and sane enough for mother daughter share.

Orry is a 16.3hh 16yo gelding by the prestigious stallion Primitive Proposal. He is a gent on the ground and such a fun loving forward going horse to ride.

Orry has had a quiet but varied life taking part and excelling in all disciplines. He has done riding club activities, fun rides, hunting etc but really comes into his own out competing. He has expressive paces and an aptitude for work making him a pleasure to school. He is brave, careful and super scope over a fence, holds a rhythm beautifully and always takes you in. He is an excellent show jumper, schooling at home over 1.20m with ease. He has no BE points so would be a great prospect for badminton grassroots but equally has the scope and ability to go up the grades.
He has hunted and is very much an open country thrusters horse. He has serious scope and bravery, would probably field master or be great fun to team chase/hunt race.

Orry has so much to give and is a real fun loving enthusiastic chap. He is good to do in all ways, clip shoe load etc, will ride and lead and is a pleasure to do on the yard. No novices.

Outstanding all-round event horse.

Bertie is a chestnut gelding by Ramiro B, out of an American thoroughbred mare. We have owned him for 4 years and Katie (then 18) has produced him herself.

Fantastic paces with the ability to produce sub 30 dressage tests on a regular basis. He is always reliable and relaxed in the arena.
He is a great showjumper yet has a bold and careful approach on the xc field. Bert knows his job and has a fantastic gallop which eats up the ground.

We adore Bertie. Our preferred home for him would be an under 18 or capable amateur wanting to learn their trade eventing at 90 and 100, but he would thrive with anyone wanting to be successful in any discipline.

Whilst Bertie does not have an immaculate veterinary history due to one injury, he has been fit, sound and eventing regularly for the last year and a half with no issues. We have no concerns about his soundness, but he has been re advertised at a lower price for this reason. We unfortunately must sell him due to personal circumstances. Our priority is a good home rather than price.

Sad sale of a valued family member. 5* home required. Serious enquiries only for this special horse.

Wanted experienced grassroots eventer

  • 7-13 years old

  • Mannerly and keen to do the job

Genuine, mannerly and experienced horse is sought for a 40 year old mum with aspirations of being competitive at grassroots.

I have previously evented to Novice, but not for some years now, and I am keen to be competitive once again.

As horses are at home, I’m not looking for a youngster - I don’t have the nerves or experience to sit on something very green / sharp. In addition, my 12 y/o Daugther is regularly competing my old horse, so life is busy.

Apart from competing, I will also want to do the “mum bit” eg riding out with my Daugther etc so horse must be polite and / or forgiving if I get it wrong! In return, I am a caring owner who would offer a lovely family home.

I’m 5’5 so I don’t need anything big.

I want to be able to go out on my own for regular training / clinics etc - manners on the ground, travelling etc, as well under saddle are key.

Must be good to hack in company / on its own and in big open spaces.

Horse will need to pass a vetting / X-rays.

Excellent and realistic budget for high quality horse.

We have a lovely set up with great facilities and can offer a very caring and dedicated home.

Danny is a well schooled amateur’s dressage horse, with three correct paces and a lovely temperament.

He is a pleasure to own and is competing successfully at Medium with a proven record.

Qualified for Petplan Championships three times in four years, with a top 10 place at Novice and top 5 in Medium Music.

He is eager to please and good to handle (on the ground, travel, shoe, clip, vet). Hacks alone and happy over poles.

This willing horse would suit a keen amateur wishing to move up the levels from Novice to Medium.

Danny has a wealth of experience at stay-away shows and Championships.

He’s given me a lot of joy and taught me so much. Now it’s time for someone else to learn from, and enjoy him.

Milo - My Millfield Opposition (2008)
16.1hh Bay Gelding by Mill Law.

Competed unaffiliated dressage and showjumping. Milo is low mileage but boy does he love to jump. Goes off any stride and doesn't look at fillers. I think he would be perfect for someone wanting to do the BS Amateur Shows.

Milo can be sluggish on the flat but soon perks up when poles and jumps are introduced.

We have hacked him out but he takes confidence from his rider and can spook at random stuff, he is better in company.

Milo needs a confident, competent rider and isn't easy in the hands of a novice. He will give you 100% but he isn't adverse to the odd spook or celebration.

We have taken Milo hunting, show jumping and showing.

He is for sale because he is not forward enough for my daughter, and he sometimes gets the upperhand, in capable hands he is a star.

Milo can be unsettled initially but now is super chill. He does benefit from daily turnout and regular work.

Milo has good feet and has front shoes on. He is good to clip, turnout, load and travel. He is easy to do and open to inspection. He has recently had his saddle checked, teeth done and seen the vet physio.

Our equines are fit, responsive, healthy and athletic — taking part in a wide range of exciting activities:

  • Riding
  • Carriage Driving
  • Vaulting
  • Show Jumping
  • Endurance
  • … and more!

From smaller, forward-going ponies to strong, weight-carrying cobs — RDA groups need equines of all types, sizes and abilities.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Calm, sensible and people-friendly horses
  • Sound and healthy equines able to adapt to a varied lifestyle
  • Horses happy in the school, hacking, or working in open spaces
  • Animals comfortable with different handlers and occasional mobility aids
  • Steady temperaments but with enough athletic ability to stay fit and engaged

Each RDA group has their own needs, but temperament and trainability always come first. All the equines undergo a Pre-Purchase Examination.

Reggie is a beautiful big horse, he’s got three correct paces on the flat and has a very correct head carriage.

He’s a forward going horse , and I feel would suit a professional rider or would be safe enough to do riding club / hack around home.

He’s just such a lovely boy to handle and do anything with, shoeing/ loading

He’s super brave will jump anything infront of him, not spooky or silly.

I ride him in a snaffle for flat ( but can be strong) so I pop him in a pehlam/ 3 ring to jump and hack. ( I am 5.2 and 8 stone )

I would love to see this horse go on and be somebody’s best friend.

Does have a couple of superficial scars on his back leg, which causes no issues.
