Kasanova 16.3hh | 2014 Gelding

Ref #: 411662
  • Jumped up to Fox hunters

  • Would excel in multiple disciplines
£9,000 OVNO
  • Belgian Warmblood
  • Chestnut
  • Gelding
  • 12 years

  • Jumped up to Fox hunters
  • Super easy all rounder
  • Would excel in multiple disciplines

Kasanova is a lovely horse looking for his next home.

Previously jumped up to Foxhunter level and has competed up to 1.10m with me. I've schooled him around 1.20m fences and he has plenty of scope. He enjoys his jumping and is brave and willing.

He schools nicely on the flat with three lovely paces and I think he'd do very well in a dressage home. Equally, he would make a fantastic hunter or team chaser as he absolutely loves being in a herd environment and is bold and confident when out with company.

He hacks well in company and is happy going through open fields, remaining calm and sensible. He can be a little nervous hacking alone and looks to his rider for confidence, so he would suit a competent rider rather than a novice or nervous one.

He is currently barefoot (previously shod) and stands perfectly for the farrier. He is good to handle and comes back into work very easily after time off. He has had the last couple of months fairly quiet due to my work commitments and is currently back in light work.

Travels well and happily stands on box- travelled in a 3.5/4.5/7.5. He does occasionally put up a small fight- quickly gives up never takes more than 5 mins (it is very very rare he wont load first time)

Being completely honest, he does need sedating to clip as he finds it very ticklish. He also has annual hock injections and has a bone chip in one hock. When maintained, this causes him no issues and has never stopped him doing his job.

There is a blip on his BS record where he and I simply didn't gel, but this doesn't reflect him.

This is a very genuine sale due to rider circumstances and lack of time. Looking for the right home where he can be enjoyed and thrive.

Can come with saddle for small extra.

Please message for more information, videos.

Wonderful kind boy looking for his forever home

Monty is looking for a new best friend/forever home .

Someone who enjoys hacking , a bit of schooling and the odd riding club level dressage .

Monty is a well bred ex event horse , he is a very well schooled /educated relaxed chappie but due to some medical issues that will be FULLY disclosed he would suit someone experienced and balanced wanting to have a quieter life, due to those medical issues Monty would not suit a home wanting him to jump or wanting him to be out every weekend competing.

Monty will produce a super test and thoroughly enjoys going out training and competing, Monty also enjoys hacking and is forward thinking and confident out on his own and in company.

Monty would benefit from a smaller lighter rider and to be preferably kept on flatter fields as ours are very hilly along with our hacking so there is no let up, we feel this will benefit his long term well being .

Monty loves being out in the field , he wouldn’t be a horse to keep in all through the winter but it also happy to come in ie during the night or in during the day what ever your routine maybe .

Monty has no vices at all and is exceptionally easy to have around . Homes absolutely will be vetted as we really don’t want this lovely boy passed around.

This is a heartbreaking decision for Monty’s owner so your suitability for him is priority.

A truly lovely 16.3hh Full Irish Draught mare with the temperament, ability and presence to stand out from the crowd.

By Moyough Legacy out of a Dowdstown Belle mare by Crosstown Dancer, She combines traditional Irish Draught breeding with proven performance. She has a competitive record at EI90 level and is ready to continue enjoying a varied and successful career with her next rider.

She is the sort that gives you confidence. Brave and genuine to a fence, she takes you forward without being strong or silly and is always ridden in a snaffle. Roman is a fabulous all rounder as a second pony or for a small adult.

He is sadly for sale as has been outgrown by my teenage daughter and is too good to go out to pasture. Do not let his age put you off, this pony has so much to give and does not look or act his age. Full history known and in touch with previous owner.

He has done mainly SJ with us, but has recently been back competing in dressage which he did in his previous home.

He is extremely versatile and adaptive meaning he would suit a child coming off a smaller pony wanting something bigger, or an adult that wants a reliable ride. Either way he is a pony that is very easy to fall in love with and will be your best friend. He will step up or down and tries his best at what you ask of him.

He can hack alone or in company, he is forward going and willing but never strong.

He has no vices and is a gentleman to handle, clip, box and shoe etc. Can be handled by children on the ground and easy to load and travel by yourself.

He lives out day and night in the summer and comes into the stable at night during the winter. He is low maintenance and can be brought in from the field and ridden without being fresh. He is genuine kind and honest, and a pleasure to deal with.

Up to date with vaccinations, farrier etc and never lame, sick or sorry.

We will only consider a 5* home for him, no time wasters please. Based North Lincolnshire.

Prin produced a foal as a young horse and was then brought on as a showjumper. She has spent the last five years in a family home. Sadly for sale due to family circumstances so has been out competing for the last few weeks.

She’s proved how classy she is by going to the Cottesmore Pony Club ODE, producing a 28 dressage and a double clear in the 90cm. A week later she wowed us all again by winning the 90cm Arena Eventing and qualifying for Hickstead.

Prin is easy on the flat and produces some beautiful work, is keen and careful into a fence- showjumping or cross country. She is straightforward with no hangups whatsoever. A wonderful temperament in the yard and easy at shows. This horse would suit somebody who hasn’t got the time to produce a horse and wants one that is ready made. She is versatile, genuine, reliable and extremely sweet.

Clean limbs and good feet with no vet history. She is too quality to be wasted as a happy hacker or for a complete novice so please only enquire if you can provide a competitive and knowledgeable home that will give her the fun she deserves. She’d be perfectly suited to a keen PC teenager and could take them all the way to the Champs.

  • Owned since a foal, never thought id sell as hes a very special horse! Absolute gentleman!

Where do I start! I purchased Hercules as a foal from Ireland. As a 3 year old I showed him in hand a a few local venues taking Champion a few times. Feb 2023 he was backed, April 2023 his under saddle competition career started.

So when he was 4 years old he was:
* Nottinghamshire County Show Champion and qualified for LIHS
* Stars Champion of Champions Hunter Champion
*LIHS Middleweight/Heavyweight Hunter Championship 9th with a friend riding him
*won numerous championships showing at various venues

5 years of age
*LIHS Middleweight/Heavyweight Hunter Championship 2nd with me riding him
*Competed Novice and Ele British Dressage scoring up to 75.4%
*British Dressage Associate Draught Championships, Novice & Elementary Champion
* won numerous championships showing at various venues

6 years of age:
*Competed in x3 Medium British dressage scoring between 69-72%
*Qualified for Associate British Dressage Draught Championships at Ele and Medium level (didn’t go to Championships as I the rider had surgery)
*Qualified LIHS Middleweight/Heavyweight Hunter Championship (didn’t go to Championships as I had surgery)

When Hercules was 4 years of age my friends 5 year old daughter rode him in the arena, walk, trotting, circles, he was in an outline it was VERY special to watch. He is genuinely the safest horse to ride there is! Hercules is very trainable and takes everything in his stride, his lateral work, half passes he gets 7.5’s for, his extended trot he can now get a 7 for and every score sheet there's plenty of 7.5 even the odd 8!

He's done numerous fun rides, gallops, beach rides, proving safe and sensible, never getting strong or silly. He's jumped logs and small xc jumps but nothing big. I've not jumped him at home other than the odd cross pole as its not my thing!
I said that id never sell Hercules as he's the most special horse I've ever owned, however I'm 51 and my body is struggling. I've had more down time than ridable time for the past 10 months from surgeries and I've decided to sell both horses as my body unfortunately isn’t coping!

Last March Hercules started to make a noise so July last year he had a successful tie back operation which now means he makes NO noise when ridden and is now able to go out and win any showing class. He also has more energy for the dressage so it was a wise decision made last year.

Hercules has the most adorable temperament and is easy in every way! The only thing he doesn’t like is tractors, wagons and water! I don’t hack him from home as our road is 60mph and he isn’t great with big vehicles but I have trailered him to other locations and hacked him where the roads are quieter and he's fine. On fun rides he doesn’t like to get his feet wet!

Hercules has no vices, blemishes, he has clean legs, no lumps or bumps, good feet and a beautiful brain! I'm very particular who buys Hercules as I love this horse.

Experienced, capable, tall teen looking for a 15.2hh to 16.3hh that is genuine to a fence. Must have some scope and be capable of jumping at least a metre happily. She has great coaches and is a kind confident rider. She has jumped up to newcomers in juniors and now looking to moving on in seniors.

If horse enjoys a bit of xc, arena eventing, and ode’s this is an added bonus but we do this more for fun and to add some variety.
May suit a horse that has evented and prefers the sj.

We can offer a long term, loving, experienced home. We keep our horses at home and they want for nothing. We have stables with lots of turnout and we can cater for most needs. We ideally want something that is at least happy to hack out in company as we have lovely quiet hacking. Horse must travel well.

Good budget. We are in the south west but will travel within reason. Slight quirks/ailments considered but must be disclosed.

Happy to wait till the end of the season if you’re not quite ready to move your lovely horse on yet.

Quidam Franky (aka Frankie Carrots)

Established hunt horse – having field mastered and ridden in the field
Successfully showjumped up to newcomers 1.10/1.20
Evented up to Novice. Please feel free to view his full eventing record - regularly placed at Novice which he could continue up the levels or could easily step down for a confident amateur wanting to do 100s or 90s or as of July can be downgraded for Grassroots.

Now with amateur (para) rider doing lower level showjumping and proving to be slightly too much horse for me (albeit he hasn’t done anything wrong) – I just sadly feel we are not the right match.

Absolute dream to hack and fantastic in all traffic. Will go alone and in company, first or last.
Great to handle and easy to do, although he does have a very cheeky character.

He does have slight medical history - hence price.
Only looking for the best possible home for this lovely boy (I’ve known him since he was 4 years old) so open to a sensible offer to the right home.

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
  • No fees for sellers

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @theponysearchagent

Harley is a smart bay gelding who loves to be given a job.

Harley has competed up to 1.15 BS. He had many clears across the board.

I have owned Harley for 6 years, 3 of which have been busy at Hartpury.

My intention is to go beyond 1.15 and Harley needs to step down. Therefor I am looking for someone who can give Harley the attention he deserves.

Harley is forward going and can push his luck if given the chance. This means he is not a novice ride and will need a rider who is firm but fair.

Harley is good to catch, shoe, load and clip on his body, he finds his legs ticklish.

Harley is honest and lovely horse. He has taken me from 70cm to 1.15. A good and loving home is most important to me. Hence the low price.

The most beautiful little horse inside and out - 16.1hh, 9yo , KWPN gelding

No lumps , bumps , blemishes , nor vices
Has a slight box foot if you wanted to be over critical!! No significance at all
Open to any viewing or inspection

As kind as kind gets in and out of the stable. An absolute pleasure to do everything with. Super easy and reliable for any meet of the family to see to. Adapts to any routine , exceptional mannerisms and a loving nature. Much welcomes and enjoys all the love and attention he can get. Loads and travels perfectly in trailer or lorry , textbook to catch, shoe, and clip etc

Beautiful on the flat. Floats over the ground with three extremely attractive and correct paces. Self sufficient in his carriage with the most commercial way of going. A nice leg in each corner type of chap who always wants to please. Very obedient up and down the transitions with basic lateral work established and auto flying changes installed. Can be ridden in a beautiful shape and give a great piece of work or , happy to amble around off the buckle on a long rein etc

A real school master around a set of fences. Will chip in, go long , adjust himself , and totally forgive a miss. Will go and amble around a 70cm or go and be competitive around a 1m20 …. He’s about as versatile as you’ll get. Good BS record with plenty of mileage with different types of riders on. He will always go, always jump you out of trouble , never say no and really is a point , sit and wait type of horse

Also enjoying popping around our at home XC and loves popping those fences. Is equally as brave and equally as mannerly as in the arena

Loves his hacking. Alone or in company, brilliant in the heaviest of traffic as well as open spaces. Come and see him along our very busy main road and let him do the talking!

Most recently ridden by a more mature lady the last few years. Would suit any type of rider. He’s not for a compete novice , he doesn’t deserve that. However, If you’re a capable rider who just needs a horse to hold your hand, help you off and give you some confidence…this is your boy. Would be a real mother’s dream for a teen also.

This hasn’t been an easy decision. He wont be sold to just anyone so if you think you can offer him the very best long term home then don’t hesitate to get in touch!

You Won’t Find Him Again Too Easily!

The type everyone wants , needs, and won’t find again too easily! 16hh, 15yo, Scotish sports horse gelding. No bumps , lumps, blemishes or vices. Totally uncomplicated , low maintenance and easy to own.

Cody is the loveliest chap around! Live in or out, a very good doer. Fantastic to clip , shoe, load and travel, catch, bath, tack up, groom , etc ! He really is very easy for any member of the family to see to

A great CV behind him to include ;
Being in a riding school , BE record , BS record , BD record , teaching novices , and being our yard ‘go to’ for all occasions and a range of different riders

Hacks out fantastically well. Brilliant in traffic , never buzzy in company or in open spaces and loves to pop logs etc
Can give the rider a little test on his own. Nothing to shout joke about but will test that boundary with a new or less able jockey

Can work beautifully on the flat with a comment jockey , will equally go around on the buckle. Very much a leg on rider and has recently been teaching very novice young girl on our yard to get her riding trot and start cantering. Has obedient walk to canter , simple changes , always in a snaffle , basic understanding of lateral work. We know we will never be able to replace this bit but sadly he’s a bit wasted with us as we have no consistent job for him and we feel he’s missing out

Cody is extremely honest, bold , and brave to jump. He will never say no, naturally careful and very level headed. He’s jumped a couple of 1m10’s in his prime however I think he’s more of a reliable and fun little school master around the 80/90’s. Have recently taken him to wales and west myself and jumped around the amateur 75cm for the weekend for pure fun and what fun we had!! Exceptionally well behaved at stay away shows. I enjoyed reliving my pony days with hand brake turns , kicking, and being far too competitive. He was DC and 4th out over 80 starters ! I’ve also had numerous DC unaffiliated placings with him. He’s a pleasure to take out and will never let you down

Jumps any XC fence and loves it. Remains his extremely mannerly self always.

Although he has a novice riding him at the moment , he can occasionally get more lively at shows etc. Nothing at all nasty, he’s a very straight forward horse and extremely versatile. He’d be perfect for someone confident although at home , you can put a beginner on all day long!

You won’t find him again, I nearly guarantee it! Not at this money anyway!!!

A good home is an absolute necessity for this outstanding little horse with a huge heart. I’m not going to be favourable with my yard girls but I feel this is the best for the horse and ultimately, he deserves to come first!!
