Clare is a true schoolmistress, shes got all the knowledge and experience behind her, she Is incredibly easy in all ways and just wants to please her rider.

Clare is real mother’s dream first horse for anyone to go out and have fun with. She has been ridden by young teens and elderly people and has always looked after them. She has previously jumped bs up to 145 with an extentive record that shows what a super star she is, more recently beginning of this year she was jumping in spain uo to 130 1* level and won the 1* 120 GP with a friend and with myself we have been jumping around 1m/105 level and although she does enjoy her jumping and this job i believe she would also love an easy life as a top end all rounder, whatever you throw at clare in life she just wants to please.

She is such a sweet mare who really looks after her rider, won’t take offence to a bad stride forward thinking & snaffle mouth at most times! She isnt silly or strong she is a very level headed horse who knows her job. Shes been there sone it and got the T Shirt.

She is established on the flat with 3 lovely paces and does her lateral changes, although she is well established she wont be one to turn out and do a dressage test, she knows her job and just gets on with it, she will work on the bridle now and again but she has her own way of going and will carry you around and do the job but wont be the next valegro !

She is a confidence giving type to teach someone looking to go out Showjumping, or equally to happy hack, enjoy beach rides or to go XC for some fun!

She is a lovely hack whether shes alone or in company she will go at the fromt or the back, is used to cars, bikes, tractors, farm animals and dogs they dont phase her at all. She is also impeccably behaved in open spaces.

She has previously been to cross country and absolutley loved it, she would make a great potential hunter or team chaser as she has the right attitude for that job also.

She has absolutely no vices is so easy and sweet to look after in all ways, yard favourite for sure! Easy to lead in an our from the field. Shes currently in the field with my 2 broodmares in foal, she has also been turned out alone and that doesnt bother her either.

Shes super to load, with me shes been on a 3.5t and a 26t no issue, perfect to travel alone or in company as she is used to lenghty journeys due to travelling abroad multiple times.

Clare is super to box/shoe/catch/clip/ for the dentist etc. she absolutely loves a fuss and a cuddle she will stand there all day long. She is not at all mareish in any way what so ever not a typical mare.

Clare is up to date with farrier done Monday 30th March, Physio done 18th March, dentist was done in Decemeber 2025 and all vaccinations are up to date.

With her breeding and her excellent FEI record ahe would also be a top assest to any stud ot breeding programme.

This is a very hard sale and she will only be going to the very best of home so please no joy riders or time wasters

  • Huge talent, ready to move up the levels

15.2hh rising 9-year-old Irish sports horse by grand prix showjumper Ardcolum Duke (Clover Hill lines). Grassroots/u18 event horse, more than ready to fly up the levels, could make a super junior contender.
Martha is very experienced BE100 with multiple placings/wins, over the last few seasons she has been an absolute mainstay of the grassroots circuit (including Badminton grassroots 2025). Rarely out of the top 10 and almost never adds anything to her dressage score.

Absolute mothers dream, snaffle mouth, and a perfect first horse from ponies. She jumps for fun out cross country, is a straightforward ride and will go from any stride to any fence. Snaffle mouth but not backwards. In the 3 years I have had her, we have never picked up cross country penalties.

Martha has scope to burn and is incredibly careful and consistent in the showjumping. Very forgiving to a fence, will take a miss and not hold it against you.

She has incredible paces and is very well liked in the boards. She has scored as low as 20.5 at Hazelton CC100. Although, I will admit this is not my strong phase as a rider so I have not reached the marks she should consistently be at.

Great to hack alone or in company, beach rides, has hunted etc. Very easy on the ground both at home and shows. Good to shoe, dentist, load etc.

Full history known, still in contact with everyone who has been involved in Martha! We would love for her to go to a confident, gutsy young rider wanting to do Grassroots / U18s.
Passed recent vetting with flying colours, flexions etc.

As previously known, X-rays showed arthritic changes in hind limb. Never had a problem with us and would be easily manageable if required in the future. This is reflected in price. With this in mind Serious Enquiries only.
Fit and ready for the forthcoming event season.

Genuine reason for sale. Can be seen at Chard BE100 on 18th April.

Everyone Needs a Madonna – She’s One in a Million!

Madonna
15.2/15.3hh | 13yo Mare | Smart All-Rounder

Madonna is a beautifully marked 13-year-old mare standing approximately 15.2–15.3hh.
She is a very smart, genuine all-rounder who would suit someone wanting to get out this season and enjoy a bit of everything – jumping, XC, hacking and schooling.

She is a lovely, straightforward mare with plenty of experience and a great attitude to her work. Madonna enjoys her jumping and has shown how brave and bold she is! Jumping round all counted and spooky fillers/ water trays no problem!
She would definitely suite a competitive home that will start cracking on and getting out and about with her!
She has the brain and ability to make a fantastic partner for someone stepping up from ponies to horses.

Madonna is a real schoolmistress type who knows her job and is ready to give someone confidence and mileage.
She is equally happy hacking out and is sensible to ride, making her an enjoyable horse to have around.

She would ideally suit a knowledgeable and competent home that wants a horse to keep busy and give her a job to do this year!

A lovely mare with quality markings, a super kind temperament, and plenty to offer the right rider.

Redpark Hold Up 17.1hh Very Handsome gelding

  • Gelding
  • 15 years
  • 17.1 hands
  • Beautifully schooled & ridden
  • Very straightforward safe & sensible ride
  • Suitable for a variety of riders/ homes

Extraordinary difficult sale of my beloved gelding after nearly five years in my home. Took me two years to find him!…..this is why….

He’s beautiful on the eye, calm and sensible to ride and take out on my own. He rides the same away at competitions as he does at home. Unusual breeding which is why he’s so good looking…he’s Irish x Selle Francais.

He’s good to catch, clip, bath, plait, pull his mane/ tail ( properly!) , with the farrier, dentist, physio, vet, loads himself & stands happily at shows in my trailer and I do everything on my own, I’m in my mid 60’s!

He hacks out around our busy village in company and I can ride and lead him from my old mare on all the same rides. He’s been to dressage competitions & polework clinics including RC events & pleasure & leisure rides with me.

Previous owner had also owned him for four years, they had hacked him and taken him to xc clinics & sj clinics. I sadly no longer jump, but my own trainer who I’ve seen mostly twice a week since I’ve owned him has occasionally show jumped him and taken him xc schooling to add variety to his life and to keep jumping in his repertoire as he enjoys it. He remains, calm, rhythmic & sensible.

He is relatively low mileage for his age, hence his physical health is amazing. He is fit & ready to turn his hooves to most things.

He lives in completely in the winter from end November ( still in currently!) due to our poor clay land in winter, but it doesn’t change his way of going with his riding at all. He lives out the rest of the year. Completely happy with both scenarios .

I travel a lot so he’s happy with a few different riders whilst I’m away.

I’m an instructor of 41 years experience myself and wanted to find a flashy horse that could cope with a varied life & the above mentioned requirements, that i was least likely to come off in my 60’s!! Hence took two years to find a genuine horse! I have never fallen off him! He has filled my requirements during his time with me and this is a very sad sale due to personal circumstances and no fault of his!

He will only be sold to a knowledgeable 5* home.
No time wasters please, genuine enquiries only.

Seeking a talented horse or pony to loan

Ref #: 403908
  • 14 year old competitive jockey
  • Passion for Show Jumping
  • Short term Summer Loan or Long Term Competition Home Offered
  • 14 year old competitive jockey
  • Passion for Show Jumping
  • Short term Summer Loan or Long Term Competition Home Offered
I am seeking a talented horse or pony to loan for my 14 year old daughter due to the long term injury of her 16hh horse, therefor my funds are tied up with this unforeseen and upsetting situation.

Her passion and love is within Show jumping where she has competed up to 90cm unaffiliated and 1'10 under instruction.
We offer a varied all rounder home, on a private yard with school, individual turn out, great hacking and access to the moors. 3.5t spacious horse box, 3 very local competition venues right on our doorstep and a fantastic coach who teaches us both. Active pony club member, who has competed up to regional champ level and recently qualified for the barrier animal health champs, however decided to pass down to another member as she secured a ride on someone else's horse for the day!

Not your average teen rider! Along side myself, she schools people's ponies locally and is paid to do so, often being asked to ride difficult ponies, she is offered competitive rides often, which is great as she can earn some money and gain lots of experience riding different horses, often only riding them for the first time on the day in the warm up! But its not quite the same as having a number 1 to love, groom and ride.

She has been producing ponies with me for the past 3 years, backing, schooling and competing, often riding my 16'2 Dutch warmblood mare, whilst retraining her OTTB, said horse is very highly strung and complexed without the now long term injury. She transitioned to horses 1.5 years ago with ease having had a very successful 2 years on her 14'2 and various smaller ponies previously who were either backed or produced to well schooled allrounders, sold to fund the next height.

She has the ability to get on most horses/ponies and work them out for the first time, getting results and harmony quickly. She has an excellent seat and balance, has been taught to ride from the seat rather than the hand, very good hands and also to ride and hold forward horses/ponies to a fence.

We are very open to young and green providing the talent is there and it wants to jump, equally it would be lovely to have something established as we have never had the luxury of having something ready made!

Would consider going BS in the future, but this is absolutely not essential and would only affiliate when the right partnership is formed.

Open to full up 14'2 pony or up to 16'2 horse, as she is 5’4 and still growing, something easy to handle on the ground is a must however we don't mind quirks and spice under saddle just nothing nasty or dangerous.

Will consider short term summer loan or a special long term option!

Might be situation where someone is going off to uni, injured or time and facility restrictions means you have something talented that needs to get out and about ready to to be sold or something you are looking to be competed at a decent level longer term. Jockey is available now and keen to have a season of competing, has a reserve camp space in August at Pontispool where she will have to steal my horse if she doesn't have one!

Many references can be provided, we offer a knowledgeable and experienced home where I can assist with schooling and riding as a mother daughter duo, but the main rider competing is my daughter.

Mike has 3 correct and eye catching paces. He works consistently into a contact and has a very correct and careful jump.

Mike has competed up to UA novice level in dressage, scoring over 65%. He has stayed away at trailblazers and was perfectly behaved.

Mike has previously jumped up to BS Discovery with double clears at British Novice.
He has successfully done UA showjumping and UA arena eventing with current owners.
Mike has also been x-country schooling. Good with water, steps, ditches etc. He was brave and showed great potential to go eventing!

He is perfect to hack, alone or in company and past all sorts of traffic. He’s also good to ride and lead and do gates.

Mike is very easy to do in all ways. Perfect to handle. Great for farrier, vet, dentist and clipping. Loads and travels perfectly onto lorry’s and trailers.
He’s up to date with all vaccinations, dentist and physio.
He isn’t a complete novice horse as he enjoys routine and staying busy.
Mike is a much loved horse and is part of the family. 5* home is an absolute must!!

Madam Hooch - Murka’s Gem x Concorde 9yo Bay Mare

Competitive homebred mare looking for a competent amateur to continue her BS career/low level eventing. Very smart Hanoverian chestnut gelding by Dancier. 13 years old. 16 .1 hands.

Donut has an impressive competition record and is a true allrounder. He has 56 BD points including many wins and placings. Donut oozes presence and has a real “look at me “ quality combined with powerful active paces. He has a very powerful hind leg with a great engine!

Donut was bred for dressage but LOVES to jump and has proved himself to be a super event horse. He has consistently jumped double clears in Cotswold Cup and unaffiliated ODE events. He is a very honest jumper, happily going on any stride.

Donut hacks alone or in company, is great in traffic and is not silly in fields and open spaces. He is a fun forward going ride but has good brakes and never has a bad thought in his head

Would be the perfect mother daughter share for a competitive family

Results are from 2022 /23 season as he has been in a BS home for last 3 years
Goring Heath Horse Events unaffiliated 80 ODE 1st
Oxstalls unaffiliated 80 ODE 1st
Waverton House Cotswold Cup 80 ODE 4th

And many more.

All of these results have been achieved with a true amateur rider returning to eventing after a 15 year break.

Donut history is known since an unbroken 3 year

This is a fantastic opportunity to buy a super talented horse who will turn his hand to any job and easily move up the levels.

Good to clip, shoe and travel. Up to date with dental, back and vaccinations and has never been sick or sorry.

This is a very rare opportunity to buy such a beautiful genuine all round talented horse .

Seeking competitive mother/daughter share

  • 15.2-16hh, ideally 6-10 years
  • Safe, sane and non-spooky
  • Must hack alone and in company confidently
Very special unicorn sought as a mother/daughter share.

We offer an experienced and very loving home, with incredible support (based with a 5* event rider).

We don't anticipate EVER having to move the right horse on, they will become a very cherished part of our family and will want for absolutely nothing (we have the best vet, physio, farrier etc support).

About Mum:
- Vet and experienced rider (her youth was spent in pony club, hunting, eventing to BE Novice and dressage to elementary)
- She's selling her very special dressage horse to make way for this new stead
- Looking for enough quality to be able to be competitive at BD Area Festivals, and potential to go up the levels to medium/advanced medium
- Goes to shows on her own - so horse must be VERY easy to manage on the ground
- Working prelim/novice now is fine.

About daughter:
- She is an incredibly tall 12 year old, coming off a 14.2 connie.
- She's jumping 70/80 confidently, is active in pony club and is hoping to event.
- She's a neat, well-balanced rider, but she's not got much competition experience yet (especially XC)
- She therefore needs something kind, genuine and forgiving, with some competition experience already under their belt to help her out.

We definitely don't want anything sharp / sensitive / fizzy / hot / strong.

This special horse must:
- Be great in open spaces, both on their own and in company
- Have no ridden vices (we're ok with an occasional excited buck, but absolutely no rearing, napping, bolting etc)
- Ideally be around 15.2-16hh and 6-10 years to be future-proof for us (would consider 5 year old if wise beyond it's years)
- Ideally be experienced at 90/100, happy to step down to 70 for now
- Enjoy flat work

We offer a very special home, and have a realistic budget for the right horse.

Please WhatsApp details and videos in first instance.

Somerwood Susie
16.1hh 14 yrs old ISH Skewbald Mare
Bazaars Texas x Last of the Lees

Susie has been with me for the past 4 years and has competed at a variety of events including SEG Eventing, PC teams and individual showjumping, PC Arena eventing, Team chasing, and lots of PC rallies. She has previously competed comfortably at 90 with plenty of scope and has schooled 1.10 at home.

She has been part of the winning PC 90 team at Gatcombe Horse Trials and has competed in the PC Arena Eventing at Blenheim Horse trials. We have also showjumped at Hartpury and Rectory Farm.

She frequently goes clear in the time when showjumping and can produce a nice dressage test. She is soft mouthed but nicely forward going. Hacks out alone or in company. She was low mileage when I bought her so needed some producing but will make anyone a really nice eventer/showjumper!

She is a super genuine and clever mare who will get you out of any sticky situation. She loves her job so would suit an amateur competition home. She jumped a double clear at Calmsden 90 this weekend so she he is fit and ready to go!

Good to shoe/box/clip/catch and up to date on dentist/physio/worming etc.

She has no vices and is not marish (I have never seen her put her ears back!) but needs confident handling as can be a bit fresh so not for novices or young children.

A heartbreaking sale as I am going to university this autumn so only genuine offers for this lovely mare please.

Murray is a true gentleman. He is a big horse with so much to give. He is a huge but very comfortable jump and can easily get a rider out of trouble.

Murray has jumped in Europe and HOYS in the puissance and is never phased by an atmosphere or a big fence. He is super straightforward and genuine to ride. He is safe and an absolutely lovely person and would be a fantastic schoolmaster to teach someone the ropes. He jumps the top of the wings for fun, finds it all super easy and is a fantastic confidence giver. Has been ridden by professionals and amateurs by small and tall riders!

No history of lameness or past injuries. Incredibly easy to manage and do in all ways.

Tyler is a lovely safe and steady ride , arm chair canter with 3 balanced paces. Tyler is only ridden in a snaffle and stands at the block while you get on.

Fantastic manners and good to tack up etc.. He is being ridden by a 9 year old girl and a 14 year old, he is one in million!

My Husband hacks him out in the week and he looks after him as he is a beginner.

Tyler is used to all different levels of riders and has always been tolerant and safe, comes up and down a gear.

We have took Tyler to all different venues , He also has competed in unaffiliated show jumping.

Tyler went Hunting on Boxing Day and he was fantastic, Super sensible and he just stood around happy at the meet.

Tyler is fantastic to hack all round the woods , and he is perfect in the heaviest of traffic. On your own or with company. You can canter in open spaces and jump logs on him etc.. seen sheep/ cows/dogs/ walkers , you can open and close gates on him .

Tyler is a really honest forgiving ride and he always looks after his rider , you feel super safe on him and really have fun , confidence giver .

Tyler is good to shoe/clip/box/load etc …

He would suit a lot of different homes - mother and daughter share/ first horse / family horse / riding club/ happy hacker .

Tyler is a really genuine person and needs the best of homes … he loves fuss and attention!

Bailey, our 16hh 16 year old bay mare who has done it all! She has looked after our family and friends for the past two years, she is well loved and will only go to the absolute best of homes.

She is a very kind, genuine, uncomplicated horse who is sadly looking for her new home through no fault of her own.

A true schoolmistress, Bailey is safe, reliable, and sensible in every situation. She has done cross-country, dressage, countless fun and sponsored rides, and showjumping! She is extremely forgiving and will go from any stride.

Bailey is always snaffle-mouthed and a pleasure to ride. She has been ridden by friends and family of varying experience levels, and always takes care of her rider. She hacks alone or in company, and is happy living in or out, either individually or in a mixed herd.

Bailey truly is one in a million, therefore it is absolutely imperative that she goes to the right family to love her as much as we have.

Sally is a very pretty 16.2 ISH mare who is now looking for a home where shell shine in BD, RC, all types of clinics and pole work sessions and hacking.

She is the ultimate schoolmistress on the flat and has lots of experience competing and eventing. Sally has been professionally produced and is very much a push button ride on the flat. Although she has competed successfully to a decent level Eventing and Showjumping we now feel Sally would rather be in a dressage and hacking home.

At home and away from home, Sally is a pleasure to do on the ground and ridden. She’s very easy to ride on the flat, has three very correct paces, competent in her basic lateral work and doesn’t need an experienced rider to push the right buttons. She would suit someone wanting to win at prelim and novice or with a slightly more ambitious rider, she would progress through the levels.

Sally is good to hack, she can be a little spooky on her own for example at bin bags but only jumpy, never sharp or dangerous. In company she’s very easy and the type you’d hack on the buckle. She’s always in a snaffle.

Sally isn’t the type of horse that needs riding every day, she’s not sharp or silly but is off the leg and enjoys her work.

Home is very important for a much loved horse.

We are looking for a new best friend to join our family for my 14 year old daughter as her first horse, ideally between 15hh-16.1hh and aged from 6 -12 ideally. Her sibling all ride so would be a home for life for the right horse:

- Must be kind and easy to do
- Safe & sane as she often likes to hack on her own
- Have done a bit of everything since she's keen on a variety.
- Be suitable for pony club & eventing (up to 1m with time)
- Must not be a stopper or too strong (ideally snaffle for all disciplines)
- Travel well

We can offer a loving home with a family of horse-mad girls and can provide any references if needed.
Based in Surrey, but willing to travel for the right horse.

With a heavy heart , A very difficult decision has been made

The horse who saved me and got me believing in myself again , one I'll never forget.
But it is time for her to move on and give someone else so much fun and enjoyment , like she has me. If you're looking to believe in yourself again, buy a horse that believes in you...

Havanna

The absolute super star of a horse is now seeking her new home after nearly a year with me , regaining my confidence and taking me to some prestigious events , coming home full of joy!

Havanna , 14yrs outstanding mare by Tangelo
Standing at approx 16.2

Jumping 110/115 currently at shows , 120/130 at home.
Previously jumped to 125 in the ring before being sold to an eventing home where she lived for five years and enjoyed competing up to BE80/90 as well as British Dressage.

Since with me, she has jumped both BS nationally and at Chepstow international ( FEI)
Winter classics and major championship shows. We've jumped at Hickstead , Arena Festival etc - she loves a busy show!

As honest as they can be in the ring, this mare loves her job and will always go from A to B
She fills you with confidence knowing that whatever the course is built like, she will give it a good shot - in any atmosphere. Not phased by any filler or water tray etc and really enjoys XC.

A saint to deal with at home, not mareish. Lives in or out , can be a little funny to catch sometimes so we leave a headcoller on but no drama , just needs a mention.

Does hack alone and in company but does need a confident rider as she can be abit looky.

Whilst Havanna is a poppet in all ways , she is a fit competition horse therefore I wouldn't sell her to a novice. She has regained my confidence in the ring and I'll happily pop her down to any fence at home but she has an engine so would be too much for a small child or novice rider.
She would suit a competent amatuer wanting a very attractive, well bred , honest horse to go out and have fun on. Whatever discipline.

A wonderful opportunity for someone who can just hit the ground running with her and book for some amazing shows knowing you'll come out the ring smiling.

Like most competition horses , she does require some maintance but nothing too costly. Happy to discuss with potential buyers

Absolutely no timewasters , this is a very very sad sale and I will not let her go to just anyone

If she doesn't sell over the next month, she will be retained for Yorkshire show and will be for sale on her return

A wonderful home required for a amazing mare

Full history known

No loans , payment plans or trials

Whilst I sell horses for a living, She is my personal horse and is very much loved so please only enquire if you are in a position to buy.

Home is the upmost priority

Priced in the low five figure bracket
