This stunning 5 year old is sensible, calm and straightforward, she is the most loveable girl you could ever wish to meet.
Dolly is an ultimate confidence giver, exceptional 16.2hh chunky cob with a leg in each corner, this rare combination of safety, strength, experience, and a heart of gold. She is kind, bold, dependable weight carrier, ideal for a wide range of riders from beginners just starting out on the lead rein to more experienced jockeys who prefer a calm and steady ride.
Dolly is beautifully put together and has been there and done it in every sense. A calm, considerate and willing mare, she is a perfect mount for riders who want to enjoy their riding at a relaxed pace without compromising on ability and responsiveness. she has been driven prior to us getting her both Single, Pair: harnessed side-by-side to a carriage and Team in agricultural, draught, two heavy horses working together.
Dolly is currently working 4 days a week in a professional riding school environment, she has excelled with every level of rider from novices to advanced, both under saddle and during stable management sessions,
she has experience in flatwork lessons, both private and group, low level jumping and dressage. She would excel in the show ring both under saddle and in-hand.
She would be ideal for hunting. She will stand and wait calmly within large crowds and open spaces and remains completely unfazed by loud noises or horses running around her. She does not fizz up, spook or spin, and has never bucked, reared, or kicked out at another horse.

Dolly loves to hack out and does so safely and calmly. She will happily hack alone or in company and has been exposed to the heaviest, fastest-moving traffic imaginable. She is completely unphased by buses, lorries, farm machinery and all types of vehicles. She remains safe and steady in all environments and does not rush or pull, even in open spaces or on the way home. She will stand patiently at the mountain block for as long as required.
Although she is happy to go at a quiet, steady pace, she is also responsive to the leg and has three balanced, steady paces. For more experienced riders, she will work with enthusiasm and energy, always staying calm and sensible.
Dolly has outstanding ground manners. She stands for hours to be groomed and fussed over, with or without a headcollar or lead rope. She is never marish or clingy, she happy living in or out. In the field, she keeps herself to herself and never causes trouble, whether stabled alone or turned out in a mixed herd.
Dolly has a history of excellent health and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps, bumps, or unsoundness. She is currently barefoot with strong, healthy hooves and is equally happy to be shod. She is excellent to catch, great to load and travel, good with the farrier, vet, and dentist.
She is incredibly low maintenance, requiring no daily work. She can have weeks or even months off and return to ridden work without any fuss. She maintains her condition year-round on a simple diet and is easy to manage in every way.
She passes her annual Licence Inspection, which is the equivalent of a Stage 2 vetting.

As part of our regular stock rotation, we give our riding school horses the opportunity to move on to private homes every few years so they can enjoy one-on-one attention and new experiences. Dolly is part of our working livery and is being sold on behalf of a private seller. We rotate our stock so we have a few other horses and ponies available for sale.
