  • Perfect RC, riding school horse
  • A truly exceptional riding school type and a rare find

Jack is a truly exceptional riding school type and a rare find, the kind every yard dreams of having. A genuine push button ride, he is kind, forgiving, and wonderfully straightforward, making him absolutely ideal for teaching children to jump and helping riders build confidence. Currently ridden and adored by a 10-year-old girl, he has proven himself to be safe, reliable, and incredibly versatile.

In the arena, he is completely unfazed by fillers and coloured poles, taking everything in his stride with a calm and willing attitude. Out Xc, he truly comes into his own a bold and honest machine who will jump absolutely anything asked of him.

Jack is an absolutely stunning, kind hearted gelding with a rock solid temperament, the type that gives his rider complete confidence and makes every ride enjoyable. Horses like him are incredibly hard to find.

He has attended clinics and unaffiliated shows, consistently proving himself to be the ultimate all-rounder with a fantastic attitude in every environment.

Jack hacks alone or in company, proven to be brilliant in traffic. Will call back to his friends when hacking alone as he’s predominantly hacked in company.

While Jack would ordinarily command a significantly higher price, he does have a small flat sarcoid on his face. This is purely cosmetic and has never caused him any issues whatsoever. For someone realistic and willing to overlook a minor blemish, this is a golden opportunity to own a genuine “unicorn” who will give endless enjoyment and confidence to his rider.

Jack is the definition of safe, fun, and dependable a horse who will truly make someone very, very happy.

No vices

Outstanding School Master With A Hugely Impressive CV

Ref #: 403481

£9,950 ONO
  • Warmblood
  • Bay
  • Gelding
  • 8 years
  • 16.2 hands
  • Exceptional mannerisms
  • Jack of all trades
  • A winner in every discipline

A winner in every discipline.. meet ‘Colorado ‘ aka ‘ Coli’ - show stopping warmblood x Tb with the most impressive CV going! Standing at 16.2HH, 8yo gelding. Substantial stamp with no lumps , bumps or blemishes. Bred by Ann Basset and sired by ‘Aviea’

Been in same home since a yearling

Shown as a foal with great success. Prolific winner in hand at numerous championships at county level , too many to name

Many wins at county level as a 4 and 5 year old in large riding horse and lightweight hunter classes

Top 10 at the London international horse show with a 7th place finish out of 33 of the country’s best in the large riding horse class

In the last two years Coli has done some BS classes. Several wins and clears in the British Novice and Discovery classes. He really is an out and out winner in all disciplines

Has been XC schooling and loves it. He is extreme bold and brave. Many championship wins in working hunter classes

Not only is he a winning machine, he is the kindest horse you’ll ever wish to find. He is outstanding to clip, box , shoe, load , travel , turnout , catch, live in or out …. I could go on and on. He loves affection, and will give you kisses all day long!

He is always snaffle mouthed. Extremely straight and easy to ride. Currently using him as a school master to give lessons to my yard girls on. He is exceptionally forgiving and knows his job. This is a horse of a lifetime. A nice leg in each corner type who never says no. Doesn’t get sharp or silly, not ever.

Rock solid to hack out! Alone or in company. Currently giving a lead to all my breakers. Fantastic in open spaces. Stands perfectly at the mounting block. Opens and closes gates etc

Very careful jump and will go on a whopper of a miss and never take offence by this.

He would take a novice but due ti being a competition horse I want him to continue to do what he does best with a capable rider. Would suit a teen or any adult wanting to go and win , have fun and a team mate along the way.

He’s one of the best horses money could buy however he does need to wear a collar in stable as will crib. A very easy fix to just pop a collar on. That’s why he’s not 20k

I’ve proved him very affordably to see him find the perfect partner and free up the stable
Open to any vet or inspection
Delivery available (travels in trailer or lorry)
Plenty of professional references available for this absolutely legend of a horse
Owners personal circumstances force sale - nothing to do with Coli!

My yard angel ‘Flo’ - a 16yo, warmblood mare , standing at 16.1hh with no lumps / bumps / blemishes , nor vices. Sired by ‘Diarado’
Dam was a very consistent 1m30 winner.

Flo has 126 BS points and has show jumped to Newcomers however much more comfortable and consistent being a BN and Discovery diesel horse / winner!

Flo is a lovable , angelic princess on the ground. Extremely kind and easy to do in all ways. Perfect to do everything with, live in or out, extremely low maintenance and easy to own

She is beautifully schooled on the flat. The most amazing , uphill trot and canter. Always in a snaffle and a leg on type who’s extremely sane and reliable. She is such fun to jump. Very careful and will always do her best to jump you out of trouble. Never worries about fillers etc we’ve taken her to arena hire where she jumped around superbly on our second rider together as well as being used to give my yard girls to confidence.

She is more woah than go. If you can ride , she will do absolutely anything for you and be as steady or as forward as you like. However if you can’t ride , she will look after you indefinitely, you might just not get anywhere very fast!

Loves to jump XC fences and would certainly love going on fun rides!!

In most recent years has been a much loved member of the family enjoying hacking, clinics, arena hires and having fun at home.

Flo hacks out well in all traffic. Doesn’t have much mileage in this sphere and does naturally prefer company however I do hack her on her own regularly. She just takes her confidence from you. Is totally sane and would never want to hurt you. She is exceptional in open spaces and has fantastic mannerisms

I feel Flo would best suit a really keen teenager who wants some fun or anyone wanting an easy allrounder who’s very capable at the same time! Flo wants to work and wants to have some fun with her next team mate

Open to any viewing or inspection
I personally think she’s a bit of a bargain

15.2/15.3hh KWPN Mare – The Ultimate Schoolmistress & Amateur Dream

18 year old KWPN mare offered for very tentative sale.

A true schoolmistress who has previously evented successfully up to 100+ level and is now the ultimate confidence-giving partner for an amateur or someone wanting to learn the ropes on a well-educated horse.

Qualified Amateur & Veteran 85cm & 95cm Finals 5 years running
Absolute derby machine – bold, careful and knows her job inside out
Loves the beach / hacking adventures
Would produce a lovely dressage test
Forgiving, genuine and incredibly consistent

Perfect for an amateur, junior coming off ponies or someone wanting to step up. She will happily teach a rider and look after you round the ring.
Equally suitable for an experienced all rounder looking to just enjoy a varied lifestyle including dressage, farm rides etc

She is easy to do – good to shoe, clip, load and travel (great in any box, not a trailer).

Loves the beach and is a saint to hack, happily taking the lead and giving confidence out and about (not strong or silly)

She does have her own way of going. She is very much a “love her or hate her” type and rides more like a pony in that respect, but once understood she is incredibly rewarding (not dangerous in any way)

For this, she would suit a varied lifestyle and someone who enjoys building a partnership and not a novice rider.

Fit and ready to go out.

Equipe tack available for seperate negotiation

Open to any vet or trainer inspection.

Madam Hooch - Murka’s Gem x Concorde 9yo Bay Mare

Competitive homebred mare looking for a competent amateur to continue her BS career. Hooch is a great jumper with scope to step up to 1.30m in time and quick in a jump off with Newcomers wins and numerous Newcomers and Foxhunter double clears. She has correct schooling and 3 balanced paces on the flat.

A fun amateur horse who has been fully rehabbed back from injury last year and is back out jumping consistently at Foxhunter. She is bold and forward going to jump so needs a competent rider, but Hooch will look after them in the ring and take off from anywhere.

Sadly for sale as we have decided to keep Hooch show jumping to prolong her career instead of returning to eventing, and her current rider wants to event. Correctly backed and produced by a professional up to 6yo then an amateur rider for the last 2 years around a full time job.

Offered at a reduced price due to ongoing maintenance required.

Good to clip, shoe, box etc, hacks alone and in company.

5* homes only.

Genuinely wish I could keep this one! Retired from racing 4 years ago

Spencer is a beautifully genuine horse who has been thoughtfully produced since leaving racing. He has a sensible, uncomplicated way of going and offers a reassuring, rideable feel that many riders are searching for.

He has enjoyed a varied lifestyle, including fun rides, competing at Prelim dressage, and low-level hunter trials, showing himself to be willing, adaptable, and easy to manage in different environments.

Spencer has been to arena hires showjumping and been incredible, combinations, fillers, water trays, walls all not a problem just a genuine pleasure of a horse! Ready to go out and compete round a few rounds
Spencer has been team chasing where he led perfectly around the novice course at Bicester, busy warm up arena and lots of new questions, didn’t look at a single thing! Just an absolute pleasure to take, stood on the trailer all day, an absolute gem.

An absolute gem to have on the yard: kind, straightforward, and a pleasure to do in all respects. Spencer would suit a rider looking for a quality all-rounder with a calm mindset and an honest attitude.

Axel - 15.2hh Gelding Black and White Irish Cob Weight Carrier

Axel is an exceptional 15.2hh 5 year-old Irish Cob gelding, don’t let his age put you off, he is super safe and sensible well beyond his years, he acts like a 10 year old, he is absolutely a rare combination of safety, strength, experience, and a heart of gold. He is kind, bold, dependable, weight carrier, ideal for a wide range of riders – from competent novice to more experienced jockeys who prefer a calm and steady ride.

Axel is beautifully put together and super sensible in every sense. A calm, considerate and willing gelding, he is the definition of safe and steady. He is calm and steady if your less experienced but also has a fifth gear if you can ride, he is so adaptable and can be ridden by competent novices then pick up his pace if you can ride, making her a perfect mount for riders who want to enjoy their riding at a relaxed pace without compromising on ability or responsiveness.

Ultimate All-Rounder

Axel has spent the last 18 months in a professional riding school environment and she has excelled with every level of rider, both under saddle and during stable management activities.

He has experience in flatwork lessons, both private and group, as well as participating in our in-house low level showjumping and cross-country competitions. He is confident over coloured and rustic fences, he would be good at cross-country, working hunter and hunting.

Axel absolutely loves to hack out and does so safely and calmly. He will happily hack alone or in company and has been exposed to the heaviest, fastest-moving traffic imaginable. He is completely unphased by buses, lorries, farm machinery and all types of vehicles. He remains safe and steady in all environments and does not rush or pull, even in open spaces or on the way home, you can gallop across open fields with loose horses running along side him, then immediately pull him up and allow him to walk on a long rein or ask him to stand while horses run around him, he is most definitely not sharp, spooky or spiny.

He has been truly exceptional during her time on the riding school, he is unbelievable forgiving when rider lose their balance, struipps or have a bad stride into a fence, he always takes care of her riders, his substantial build, with a leg in each corner, combined with her calm disposition, sure-footedness, and gentle nature, gives riders confidence to progress and excel. He will stand patiently at the mounting block while you mount. I can honestly say he has absolutely no quirks, vices or negative traits.

Although he is happy to go at a quiet steady pace, he is also responsive to the leg and has three beautiful balanced, steady paces. For more experienced riders he will work into a nice outline with enthusiasm and energy, always staying calm and sensible, he has never bucked, reared, kicked or bitten, he is the most loving kind gentleman you could ever wish to meet.
Snaffle mouth

Axel has outstanding ground manners. He stands for hours to be groomed and fussed over, with or without a head collar or lead rope. He is not clingy, and is happy living in or out. In the field he keeps himself to himself and never causes trouble, whether stabled alone or turned out in a mixed herd.

Axcel has a history of excellent health and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps, bumps, or unsoundness.

He is currently barefoot with strong, healthy hooves and is equally happy to be shod. He is excellent to clip, bath, catch, great to load and travel, fantastic with the farrier, vet, and dentist.

He is incredibly low maintenance, requiring no daily work. He can have weeks or even months off and return to ridden work without any fuss. He maintains his condition year-round on a simple diet and is easy to manage in every way.

He passes our riding school annual Licence Inspection, which is the equivalent of a Stage 2 vetting.

Axel is a rare gem. He is the perfect choice for someone looking for a calm, dependable, and capable all-rounder. Whether you are looking for a SUPER SAFE happy hacker or someone looking for a fun allrounder, a family looking for a versatile and loving horse, Axcel fits the bill perfectly. He is a genuine schoolmaster who provides confidence and enjoyment in every ride and will give her next owner years of pleasure.

This is a heartbreaking sale. As part of our regular stock rotation, we give our riding school horses the opportunity to move on to private homes every few years so they can enjoy one-on-one attention and new experiences. Axcel is ready to bring joy to his next rider and deserves the very best home. He has been truly exceptional. Sold on behalf of working livery, he is a private sale.

Seeking competitive mother/daughter share

Ref #: 401818
  • 15.2-16hh, ideally 6-10 years
  • Safe, sane and non-spooky
  • Must hack alone and in company confidently
  • 15.2-16hh, ideally 6-10 years
  • Safe, sane and non-spooky
  • Must hack alone and in company confidently
Very special unicorn sought as a mother/daughter share.

We offer an experienced and very loving home, with incredible support (based with a 5* event rider).

We don't anticipate EVER having to move the right horse on, they will become a very cherished part of our family and will want for absolutely nothing (we have the best vet, physio, farrier etc support).

About Mum:
- Vet and experienced rider (her youth was spent in pony club, hunting, eventing to BE Novice and dressage to elementary)
- She's selling her very special dressage horse to make way for this new stead
- Looking for enough quality to be able to be competitive at BD Area Festivals, and potential to go up the levels to medium/advanced medium
- Goes to shows on her own - so horse must be VERY easy to manage on the ground
- Working prelim/novice now is fine.

About daughter:
- She is an incredibly tall 12 year old, coming off a 14.2 connie.
- She's jumping 70/80 confidently, is active in pony club and is hoping to event.
- She's a neat, well-balanced rider, but she's not got much competition experience yet (especially XC)
- She therefore needs something kind, genuine and forgiving, with some competition experience already under their belt to help her out.

We definitely don't want anything sharp / sensitive / fizzy / hot / strong.

This special horse must:
- Be great in open spaces, both on their own and in company
- Have no ridden vices (we're ok with an occasional excited buck, but absolutely no rearing, napping, bolting etc)
- Ideally be around 15.2-16hh and 6-10 years to be future-proof for us (would consider 5 year old if wise beyond it's years)
- Ideally be experienced at 90/100, happy to step down to 70 for now
- Enjoy flat work

We offer a very special home, and have a realistic budget for the right horse.

Please WhatsApp details and videos in first instance.

  • 18hh 2013 AES Chestnut Gelding.
  • Gentle Giant Dressage School Master.

Melman has been competing at BD Elementary(BD HALONA BUBBALICIOUS), training at home up to Advanced Medium with ease.

His main discipline is Dressage, but has done occasional jump/XC schooling which he has been genuine and fun.

Melman is a true workhorse with a heart of gold. A gentle giant, he is trainable, sensible, and an absolute pleasure to be around. He has a fantastic attitude – not sharp, always willing – and is perfect for a rider looking for a reliable, well-mannered, and established horse.

He hacks confidently alone or in company, is polished at home, and performs consistently in the competition arena. He has also enjoyed some jump schooling and cross-country.

We are much more amateur dressage riders than he is used to and his teaching us the ropes!

Important note: Melman makes a noise in his wind and is therefore not suited for hunting or sustained fast work. He has, however, passed a full 5-stage vetting for general riding and dressage, which is fully reflected in his value.

Despite this, he remains a fantastic, versatile, and well-established dressage horse, ideal for a rider seeking a safe, trainable, and genuinely enjoyable partner.

Serious inquiries only – a horse like Melman is very hard to find.

A lovely gentle mare who does everything with a smile on her face, she always does her best to please. She is excellent to handle, really gentle, steady and sensible , an absolute cuddle sort in the stable, I’ve never seen her ears back, she is so well behaved at shows that I can even give her to my disabled husband to hold.

Having show jumped all her life in her previous home, jumping up to 130 tracks with a teenager, she is now ready to show someone the ropes at the lower levels.

This year she has been placed arena eventing, double clear everytime out 90 show jumping and has just scored 64% in her first ever dressage test. She hasn’t evented yet, but an eventing home may also suit her, she has been XC schooling this week where she jumped everything first time, ditches, skinnies, water and banks etc. see videos.

She’s is easy to load, shoe, catch, clip, she is just a really special and fun mare, the sort hard to find.
