12.2hh (approx) 8 year old palomino mare. Registered Welsh Section B, By Laithehill Oberon.
A charming pony with an exciting future; the possibilities are endless for an established little jockey with competition goals. Princess has nice paces and a brave jump with plenty of scope. She is a pleasure to work with in all ways.
In her previous homes she attended PC and unaffiliated SJ with young children, and has since been brought on carefully by an experienced, small adult. She has energy, power and stamina but no nasty vices. Never looks at a thing whilst jumping; fillers, water trays or xc, and jumps off any stride. Over bigger fences she does take a pull, so might be suited to an older jockey who isn’t put off by this. There is no doubt she would excel in any sphere, but has huge potential for BS, or M&M WHP as she is beautifully bred with real presence. She has started with lateral work too, so equally would be suited to BD or PC eventing. She is really fast when asked, so could do it all, mounted games or pony racing. She is a forward thinking, bold and willing pony who takes on anything she is asked to do.
Due to us having no jockey to compete her she has low mileage, but has attended local shows, xc and arena hire; always with a smile on her face. She hacks alone happily, is unphased by traffic, farm vehicles etc. She lives on a yard that’s always busy with children, dogs, sheep, poultry etc, so has seen and heard it all! Loads and travels well. Happy living out or in (currently out 24/7.)
She is handled and totally adored by my two children (9&6), and loves all attention, standing happily to be groomed, bathed, clipped, sat on, anything really! She has had many non-riders sit on her on the lead rein, been ridden bareback all over the farm and laps up the fuss with children all around her feet.
Princess is up-to-date with the farrier (currently barefoot), dentist, worming, vaccinations and has had regular physio since being with us. She is fit, well and ready to go out and give a keen, confident child the best adventures.
She has been a joy to own, she’s just too forward for my nervous 9 year old, who has only been riding regularly for a year. She is totally wasted with us and deserves a more varied life in a competition home.
Serious enquiries only, absolutely no first time buyers, or those looking for a first ridden pony as she isn’t suited to this, hence the sale. She will only go to the best of homes. She will come with a full wardrobe and some tack. A Black Country worker saddle bought for and fitted to her is available too by separate negotiation.
Honest seller willing to answer any questions to help find the perfect match for this golden girl.
