Cobey is a 15.2 15yr bay mare. She has good basic flatwork and works in a nice uphill outline, does all of her changes, not strong and would produce a lovely test, she is obedient off the leg and has lovely big paces.

Her full history is known with her previous owner having her for 9 years and produced her from a just backed 5yo to winning 1.15m classes. She is ultra careful and jumped at all of the major championships, she is Grade A and won just under £7k and qualified for HOYS in 2021 and 2023. She is quick in a jump off and turns like a pony, but has a big stride and covers the ground for a smaller horse.

Cobey is perfect to hack alone or in company in front or behind never heating up in open spaces and not spooky she baby sits the youngsters out

With previous owner she has cross country schooled proving bold and brave and been on numerous farm rides.

On the ground she is super easy, well mannered in every way and has a very sweet personality. Can leave her standing out on the yard and she wont move! Shes no different if ridden every day or given time off

She is beautifully bred, by the well known stallion Cobra out of a Concorde X Clover Hill mare.

Good to clip, load, catch and shoe.

This is a heartbreaking decision and will only go to the right home, placed in her last 3 outings.

Please no timewasters or daydreamers, this is a very special little horse who will give someone years of fun.

Woody is a real sort after type, registered with the British skewbald and piebald association with recorded breeding. By Lakelodge Leonardo, a traditional cob out of BSPA elite graded stallion Duke.

Woody has the most beautiful nature, he is fantastic to do in every way, catch, load, clip, shoe etc he is always happy to see you and has a very friendly character. He is a mother’s dream on the ground, he has been a pleasure to have on the yard.

Woody has been professionally schooled, he works in a nice outline, with 3 rhythmical paces. He is still young so can be a little green with canter transitions. Never naughty or silly.
He would certainly go on in the world of showing and would equally produce a good dressage test.

Woody has been a superstar to hack, alone and in company. He has been very good in traffic and open spaces, a real armchair ride to hack.

Woody has popped around a small course of fences, he is not going to set the world alight with his jumping but he always has a good go and really enjoys his jumping. He has done a small course of 70cm has ability to go a little higher.

Woody is looking for a home for someone to truly love him, he loves the variation of schoolwork hacking and jumping and would be a solid allrounder for someone to have fun on.

Sad sale with a genuine reason.

Connor is a 16.1hh 11yo quality bay gelding – ideal Riding Club all-rounder/teenagers horse.

Genuine, much-loved horse looking for a new home. He has been with us for the last 6 years. He is the type that thrives on regular, consistent work and would suit an active pony club/Riding Club home where he can have a varied life.

He has previously competed in showjumping and cross-country up to 1m, and dressage to Prelim, and would happily turn his hoof to most Riding Club activities — clinics, fun rides, lessons, camps and low-level competitions.

He hacks both alone and in company and is excellent in traffic, but is best suited to a confident, competent rider who is happy to support and “hold his hand” when needed. He has a kind nature and loves attention and cuddles. He is a TB and can do excited bucks, so not suitable for novices, nervous riders or those wanting a kick-along type. We did try steroid injections which did not make a difference, hence price.

Good to handle in all ways: easy to catch, clip, box and shoe, price including tack and rugs.
Priced realistically for a quick sale as he really needs to be back in consistent work, which sadly my daughter can no longer give him due to her apprenticeship.

?? Based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Please only get in touch if you are an experienced rider looking for a genuine Riding Club all-rounder who will flourish with the right person.

  • Would suit a riding club type home or a mother- daughter share

Daphne is a very sweet and eye catching mare who has a relaxed and loving nature on the ground, and is active and shows a good attitude to work in the school. She is currently working at our riding school and training centre where she is primarily used for our intermediate/ advanced clients, for our BHS professional training sessions and for the BHS Stage 3 and 4 exams.

She is snaffle-mouthed and is used for flat work, pole lessons, show jumping, and cross-country lessons. She is very good to work on the lunge and to be ridden on the lunge. Daphne has competed in our onsite competitions at Novice level dressage, and up to 80cm show jumping and arena eventing. She is active and balanced in all three paces, however is still green in her education and needs further work and consistency to improve her overall suppleness. She is good out hacking in our onsite woods, is used to going out in company but can go on her own.

In the summer she lives out overnight in a small herd of 7 other mares, and lives in during the winter with access to some turnout every couple of days. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming, shoeing. She is good to clip and trim and easy to handle on the ground.

It is time for Daphne to go to a one on one home where she can progress further in any discipline, she would suit a riding club type home or a mother- daughter share.
This lovely mare deserves a 5* home.

Mocha - Searching for his forever home. He’s a super friendly chap who is searching for a low level riding club home

Schools very well on the flat and would make a super smart dressage horse!
Has a very good change on him.

He will happily jump around a small set of fences we have jumped him over all colourful and rustic fences which he seems to enjoy

Mocha has a reduced price tag as he has had the wind tie back which was successful! And he does have a parrot mouth which is easily managed.

He’s a super smart horse for someone on a budget that wants to still enjoy hacking / schooling and a small amount of jumping

He hacks very well all around our farm and has been an absolute star in traffic

He could easily be used in a riding school environment

Mocha has come back to us for re-sale due to his owners time commitments forces a very sad sale

Amazing temperament with willing trainable attitude. Super breeding and beautiful rhythmic movement, with lots of potential in any discipline. Scopey bold jump but very sensible and doesn’t rush, learns quickly from mistakes and confident to have a go.

Charlie was shown in hand as a 2yr old competed at low level dressage and showjumping as a 4/5 year old and also been xc schooling successfully.

He will hack alone and in company, never strong or silly although needs confidence around large tractors. He is good to clip, with the farrier, vet and dentist, his teeth and vacs all up to date and he has been seen by our physio.

He loads and travels in a box, however not a natural loader and needs some support in this area and can hurry to unload. Recent 5 stage vetting / 5 stage insurance vetting

Charlie is a young playful chap who really benefits from having ‘his person’, sane and sensible with an older head on young shoulders.

Charlie was purchased recently with the hope of him being a long term member of our RDA team, and whilst he showed a great trainable attitude being trained quickly to our mounting hoist and special equipment, he did not cope well in the large herd environment (of more than 5-8 others), or with a different number of handlers and riders. He became quite stressed and unhappy with the riding school routine resulting in the early onset of ulcers. These have now been treated with our vet and he is starting to flourish again.

Charlie has nothing but love to give and is always keen to please, but will need an experienced new owner who will put time and effort into building a bond with him and continuing his education.

Sold with bridle and small wardrobe, new fitted saddle available at extra cost.

Please do feel free to contact for more information as finding Charlie the right home is our top priority.

Domino
17 years old
16hh
Cob x (been told 1/2 queens drum horse, 1/4 warmblood and 1/4 Cleveland Bay)

Domino is sadly looking for a new home. He's a super horse who I've only had for just under 2 months. I bought him from an auction where I was told very little about him before hand (an oversight, I know). After a confidence knock on my old horse I was looking for something a little more level headed and safe. Although he is a good lad he is just not what someone of my level needed. Unfortunately he's not been the horse I needed to bring my confidence back.

Ridden he is great, really loves to work and loves to please. He has a very low mileage for his age and I have been told he was never rushed. I've been in touch with all past homes and know he was used for low level show jumping in his younger days (which he still appears keen for!) and since been used as a general happy hacker and endurance horse. He's been to Somerford and the beach as well as a few other fun rides, although isn't so keen on the water! He's very well behaved although throws a little excitement buck in when on an open field, which I have found he will only do once. He will hack out alone or in company.

Dom is good to clip, he's got a few ticklish spots and might pull his face around his belly but overall he's not given me an issue in terms of clipping his body. He is happiest when he's munching on a net while you're clipping. I kept his legs clipped due to low level pastern dermatitis that I've never seen on him but was warned about by a past owner.

He's a chunky lad and is a very good doer. Doesn't need any hard feed to keep his condition. He's fed on hay and a handful of bran to keep him sweet while the other horses are fed.

On the ground, he can be bolshy. I believe he would suit someone who is both confident and competent to be able to deal with this. Bringing him in from the field I use the slip and on in hand walks I use his bridle or a control headcollar.

He's good to travel. I've only ever had him on a 3.5 box but i'm sure he'd load on a trailer as well. He will walk on the box perfectly but can take the mick when he first gets on, with a firm hand he would be on his best behaviour. He can get a bit sweaty but he's a good traveller other than that.

Domino does have a handful of negatives that come with him. Firstly he appears to display rig behaviours when a mare is in season, this does mean he mounts and does know what he's doing. I've been assured he was correctly castrated and as far as I have been told was not cut late. This does mean he's best turned out with geldings, I have been told he has been turned out with geldings throughout his life with no issues. Have personally tried rig calm which there was no notable changes in his behaviour while on it.

Dom is also a bit of a moody git! No malice, doesn't kick or do anything dangerous and hasn't bitten but has been known for the odd nip. He is also head-shy, this does make brushing and clipping his face a bit of a task. If you want a loveable and cuddly horse that loves being messed with/ brushed and cuddled, he is unfortunately not for you, he likes his own space but in the same breath loves your space too so really it's all on his terms! He can be won over with treats but this will never mean he is not head shy!!

He comes with a full wardrobe, which i've collected in the short time I've had him. Also a fairly brand new fitted Bates saddle.

He's good with the farrier and is good with the vet. Has had the dentist in the past year but is due again.

Open to any viewings and vetting's. No time wasters. Message me for more pics or any info! Based Manchester.

'Lucky Jude' has previously been in training but has never raced. RoR eligible.

Easy and straightforward to ride and on the ground.

He has been on hound exercise several times, proving sane and sensible, not silly or strong. He will turn away from the field and go in the opposite direction when asked.

Jude has been to several arena hires, both indoors and outdoors, and will confidently jump a small course of show jumps. He has also been XC schooling in a group and on his own and will happily jump a small course.

Hacks out alone and in company and is good in traffic.

Snaffle mouthed. Good to box, shoe etc.

Jude is now ready to go and do a job and give someone lots of fun. He would make a great all-rounder/RC/teenager's horse.

Donna Falcone - Stunning Broodmare, 7yr old Danish Warmblood Chestnut mare 17hh

By Blue Hors Farrell (Furstenball) MICHELLINO (same mother are Ulrik Molgard’s Grand Prix horse Michagan)

Scanned in Foal to One to Remember ( by Secret x Vivaldi) from Helgstrand (Due to foal may 15th 2026)

Very kind temperament and personality. Can also be ridden and hacking/fun horse very sweet and easy to ride. Previously had a shoulder injury meaning that she can’t be a competition horse unfortunately. Video also available.

(Information of the foals Stallion)
One to Remember lives up to his name. This jet-black nobleman is not easily forgotten. He received a dream score of 10 for his rideability, 9.3 for his uphill canter, 9.0 for his capacity, 8.9 for his cadenced trot, and 8.3 for his clear four-beat walk. This secured him the bronze medal at the Danish Championships for four-year-olds under Eric Guardia Martinez/ESP. This was followed by reserve victory in the stallion performance test and victories in dressage horse tests up to medium-level.

His foals were highly sought after at auction. One to Remember passes on his charm and his wonderfully flowing movements.

His sire Secret won silver at the 2017 Riding Horse Bundeschampionat and also silver at the 2019 World Breeding Dressage Championship for five-year-olds. In 2020, he became Bundeschampion of six-year-old dressage horses under his rider Jessica Lynn Thomas/SWE.
Rideability 10!

Good home wanted for this beautiful mare!

Charismatic rising 5 year old, 17hh Shire Mare for Sale. Frances is a true example of a Shire Horse, she is dark bay with 4 white socks, plenty of feather and a white strip.

She combines power, elegance and a willingness to work. She is a straight mover and has an impressive walk, trot and canter. Frances is a responsive and forward going ride, however she is snaffle mouthed at all times.

I have no doubt she will excel in any sphere, she would look brilliant in the hunting field, dressage arena, show ring or even out eventing.

Frances is excellent to hack both alone and in company, she has seen lots of traffic and is always well behaved. She has been on forestry rides, jumped ditches and is a pleasure to take anywhere!

To handle, Frances is a gentle giant. She has been to arena hires and is good to load and she will stand on the trailer whilst another horse is being ridden.

Frances would be an asset to any yard!

16.2hh
Shire Cross
Chunky Weight Carrier
Jet Black, 6yrs, mare

Astrid is a stunning Jet black Shire Cross with a big heart and a loving sole currently working in a riding school by intermediate level and above riders, although still green in the school, she is a genuine blank canvas with a lovely, willing and trainable nature. She is beginning to understand his flatwork, canters on the correct leg, and is learning to maintain balance and straightness. She is confident over poles and small obstacles and always tries her best; never sharp, spooky or silly, simply straightforward and eager to learn. With a more competent rider, she will work into a soft outline and is already showing promising development in suppleness, balance and responsiveness to the leg, including the early stages of lateral work.

She is wonderfully safe and sensible, naturally more whoa than go. If a rider loses balance or stirrups, she will quietly come back to walk without being asked, making him incredibly forgiving and confidence-building for riders with less knowledge.

She has a big, genuine heart and learns quickly. Despite not having done extensive arena work, she puts his heart and soul into everything asked of her. Her slow and steady outlook on life, paired with her calm, unflappable temperament, means nothing much phases her.

Her experience has been primarily trekking and hacking, and this is where she truly shines. She will happily plod along on a loose rein and look after his rider in any environment, making her a super kind, uncomplicated type for someone who wants to put their own stamp on a genuine, honest horse. She is most definitely a sturdy sure footed mare with a leg in each corner.

She does not fizz up, spook, shy, rush, pull or behave in a silly manner. Her chilled, steady temperament remains the same wherever she goes.

Astrid hacks in the heaviest of traffic without batting an eyelid, waiting politely at junctions without moving, staying rock-solid as lorries, buses, tractors, trailers, motorbikes and farm machinery pass closely by. Open fields are no problem either; she has impeccable manners in open spaces and has cantered and gently galloped on grass verges beside busy roads. In a group, she is happy leading, in the middle or at the back, never pulling or trying to overtake if anything, she sometimes needs reminding to keep up!

She also hacks out alone with complete confidence and a mature, ladylike attitude. Absolutely nothing seems to faze her, making her an ideal partner for someone wanting a reliable, safe and genuine horse who will give confidence and enjoy life at a steady pace.

Astrid can be ridden every now and again and have the same chilled out attitude as when ridden daily.

She is excellent catch, load, travel, bath, clip, groom, farrier, dentist, vet.

She absolutely loves to be pampered, she will stand all day without a head collar and lead rope whilst being groomed, bathed, cuddled and fussed over.
She stands quite happily in her stable eating her hay with the door open, never attempting to walk out unless asked.

She gets lead, caught and handled by the smallest of children, she is quite happy being dragged around the yard on the end of a lead rope.

She will stand at a mounting block without moving until mounted, regardless of how long it takes.

Snaffle mouth with absolutely no gadgets.

She is currently stabled during the day and out at night within a mixed herd, she is equally happy to be stabled or turned out full time, she keeps herself to herself and never causes any trouble despite being out with 30 other horses.
She isn’t clingy or marish in any way and is happy being stable and or turned out solo.

Astid will give confidence to any rider/ handler and could easily compete at riding club level, fun/beach rides.

She can go for months without work then be tacked up and ridden without any fuss, she is extremely low maintenance, she maintains her weight all year round on grass and hay and Haylage during the winter months.
She has never been lame had laminitis, sweet-itch or sarcoids.

In the whole time I have her I can honestly say she has never been lame, sick or sorry, my vet can verify this, she has passed the riding school annual inspections with flying colours, this is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.

Looking for a five star private home to give someone the opportunity to purchase a safe and very sensible horse, with so much to offer.

Jay has previously been in a jumping home and had the same owner for 5 years, he was then sold to an allrounder home, offering lots of fun, cross country, hacking / fun rides / riding club etc, he loves a varied life and has good enough paces to go in the dressage boards.

He’s a lovely little horse, rides beautifully on the flat and works in a nice frame, with some lateral work and changes established. Jay is being sold as his current owner doesn’t have enough time to enjoy him, especially during the winter months. He has endless scope over showjumping fences, he’s bold XC, a lovely horse to hack out on his own and with others, he’s reliable in traffic, no matter how big.

He’s just a nice allrounder for someone to go out and have fun on, he would suit a teenager girl / mother daughter share, or with the type of jump he has I’m sure he would make a fabulous hunter.

Geoff is a 14.2hh chunky Bay Blagdon gelding, 4 years

We have had Geoff since the start of summer and he was purchased as a project. Sadly a change in my work circumstances force a sale earlier than I would have liked. That being said, he has been broken to ride lightly and is proving to be everything we hoped.

He has a placid, sweet but brave nature and is fabulous to be around. Catch, lead, tie up, muck out round, groom, farrier. He has a lovely nature with other horses too.

Over summer he has worn tack, long reined in the school and on the lane and has been ridden round the school and on the lane. Nothing has been rushed, he has then been turned away for a number of weeks and brought back in. The fact that we brought him in, tacked him straight up and got on for a stroll round the arena and the yard is indicative to the nature of this lovely cob. Easy, unflappable and trainable.

He is young and green so will be sold to a knowledgeable home only, however, he is going to make someone a fabulous cob with size and substance. They don’t make them like this anymore. We can also continue with his education for the short term (should his new owner wish).

Serious enquiries only. He is based near Whalley, Lancashire. He can come with tack by separate negotiation and we can arrange transport nationally.

Geoff is sound, never sick or sorry, no sweetitch, great feet and no sarcoids.

He is open to vet.
