Bertie has been on my yard for the past five years and I have seen him be the biggest confidence giver to so many riders during that time. He has a heart of gold and a super temperament, he is scared of nothing, is never naughty, and offers the perfect balance of safe yet willing and off the leg.

He has been professionally schooled, but also loves to jump and hacks alone or in company, he really has done a bit of everything.

He is happy in or out and is great to shoe, clip, catch etc. Bertie is also super easy to handle and loves a fuss. He is fully up to date with wormer, vaccinations etc, has no known health issues and is only for sale due to a change in circumstances, he will only be sold to the very best of homes.

Otis is a very well put together 17hh 7yo 3/4 ID 1/4 ISH gelding.

Otis loves the beach, forest rides, woodland jaunts, open field rides, XC and showing jumping in a field environment.

Otis will not go in a school. He was previously in a riding school and he simply says no.

Otis will hold a nice outline over the forest or in an open field but doesn’t want to be a dressage diva.

He loves xc and will happily jump a variety of xc fences. He also enjoys show jumping in a grass arena.

Otis is incredible in traffic, of all kinds and will wait patiently at a main road. He happily hacks alone or will go out in co.

He takes reassurance from his rider and due to his size and age, not suited for a novice.

He is snaffle mouthed even in open spaces.

Benny has 3 expressive paces, although a tb he was never trained or raced and was backed as a late 4 year old. He’s never been lame or sick in his life and always willing to please on the ground and being ridden.

I’ve done a range of low level things with him inc dressage, xc, showjumping.

He has proven to jump up to 90 clear however this does take time and patience with a competent rider. Is completely unfazed by fillers and water trays.

His flat work is lovely with 3 bold and expressive paces, works in a lovely outline.

He loves his hacking and will hack alone or in company never silly or spooky. He is more on the lazy side than go, for this reason I tend to ride in spurs and this makes him the perfect in between.

He’s an extremely good doer in every way, been in herd and individual turnout always the first to come over. He’s lived out 24/7 as well as stabled at night.

He stands there happily to be fussed. Easy to clip, load and to shoe however he doesn’t like to stand still unless there’s a likit involved.

We’ve found if he’s in a trailer he can’t have the partition in however travels fine once that’s removed, currently travels in a 7.5t foot perfect, has been in a 3.5t with no issues.

This is a sad sale of a lovely family horse, absolutely adored by my dad however I’ve now finished college and do not have the funds or time to keep him alongside my other two.

Comes with saddle and bridle plus some rugs.

Fozzie Bear is a quality young horse, ready to continue his ridden education. He is very kind natured and has been such a joy to work with.

Fozzie was bought from Ireland in May; we focused on his groundwork for 3 months and he is now lightly backed. He has been on short ridden hacks locally, always good with village traffic. He is currently established in walk and trot under saddle, and we are beginning to introduce canter. He is bold and inquisitive on hacks, and is sensible when walking and trotting in the stubble. Hacks alone or in company.

Fozzie has excellent sports pony bloodlines, including Moy Jonny’s Pride, Westonhouse Straboe Bobby, and Ard Archer. His free jump (video available), bloodlines and willing attitude suggest that Fozzie has a promising future as a competition/pony club/hunting pony.

He is very easygoing on the yard, and is also super easy to catch as he walks right over to you to say hello. He also self-loads into a trailer the second he spies the haynet! Very sensible with other horses, he lives out full time with our herd of 4 geldings, but is equally content to be stood in a stable.

This is an extremely heart wrenching sale. Honey has been part of our family for the last four years. During this time my teenage daughter has had the most special time with Honey and they have done so much together. The only reason for this sale is that my daughter is now ready for her second horse.

Honey is extremely safe and steady. She is a confidence giver and can step up or down to her rider. My youngest daughter who is 10 loves to hack honey round the fields and I have never had any concern. More whoa than go Honey does require a rider not a passenger.

Honey loves a varied workload and although she schools well, a range of disciplines keeps her happy in her work.

Honey enjoys stay away camps, farm rides, low level X country. She loves a pole clinic and has done a few lovely unaffiliated dressage tests. She is bomb proof in open spaces and can pop a decent jump 70-80cm with comfort.

Honey loves to hack, especially in fields and countryside. She loves a companion so is great to hack in company and equally alone.

In and out of the stable, Honey has impeccable manners and is renowned for her good behaviour on the yard. Worth her weight in gold, she looks after her rider and would be an ideal for a sole rider or older teenager who loves a relaxed and predictable ride.

Honey loads and travels well, alone and with other horses, as well as turned out in a herd of mares but would also be happy on her own.

Honey loves a good brush, massage and fuss.

Rose is an incredibly well loved horse who has been with me for 3 years and this is a very reluctant sale due to my going to university.

She started out as an event horse with her previous owner, however I have spent the past few years showjumping casually, hacking, and riding with friends.

Rose is great fun, forward going and enjoys working - she requires a more experienced rider, but she is absolutely safe and genuine and hasn’t put a foot wrong in the 3 years I have had her. I frequently ride out on open fields alone, or with others and have done so since I was 16, and have never felt unsafe at any point. Rose is completely road safe and has always been a great lead for my other less confident horse when going past obstructions, but is also always happy to hack alone as well as in a group. My mum who is a less confident rider is able to take her for hacks and has never had any problems.

She is gentle and well mannered on the ground, perfect for the farrier, and will load into any kind of horsebox, trailer etc.

This is a very hard sale and I will only sell to a very loving home and someone who is looking for a horse to have fun with and enjoy like I have.
