Willow has been with me since she was a 2 year old. She was backed at 3-4 and became my novice husband’s horse when we got together 10 years ago and he wanted to get involved with the horses.

He’s done all sorts with her from fun rides, XC schooling, a little bit of jumping and tons of hacking. She’s always been very safe and looked after him. He often used to carry our Jack Russell on board down busy roads so he could come along riding too! She absolutely loves water and will go in no matter how deep and have a good splash around!

She’s very good in all kinds of traffic. Great to catch, load, with farrier etc etc. She’ll live in or out 24/7 or a bit of both. She’s fine in a mixed heard. She’s good feet and has been barefoot most of her life.

She’s a very kind and easy mare who is only for sale because my husband has totally lost interest and she’s just getting wasted with us.

She bred a lovely foal last year and has just been brought back into work so needs more top line building up. I was going to wait to advertise her but we don’t have lots of grass so that will come easily with some better grazing! She is absolutely a horse than can be picked up and left whenever you want. She’s never needed regular work to remain sensible, she’s just a bit rusty in the school as my husband never really enjoyed doing that but she’s sensible and tries to please.

She’s the type you can just throw anyone on and let them have a go. His mates have raced her up open fields after a few beers who’ve never ridden before and she was so safe and looked after them.

We imported him last year as a late starter and have produced him along.

He has 3 correct paces and shows a good jump. More of a leg on type than a sharp one.

Has hunted and was mannerly in the field and sensible standing and jumped well.

Started competing at SJ and been placed. Although Green shows a useful jump and jumps fillers etc.

Competed at first dressage test where he was incredibly mannerly. Having never seen whiteboards he tried very hard. Is starting to work in a better frame.

Very bold XC jumped everything with style and showed plenty of quality and scope. Ditches, water, steps all no problem for this chap.

Will make a lovely WH/BE/BS prospect in time. Snaffle mouth.

Izzy is a part bred Welsh mare who has been in the same home with us for the past nine years. She is a really nice natured mare and loves to please. Clean limbed, very attractive mare with showing bloodlines. She has done all round activities with me including unaffiliated dressage (typically scores 65-75%) show jumping and cross country (BE80 tracks). Dressage judges love her.

She enjoys pleasure rides, prefers to hack in company but I have hacked her alone since I've had her. We have off road hacking so I can’t comment on what she would be like in traffic. She is good to shoe, clip and catch. For travelling she is better loading onto a lorry than a trailer but will load onto a trailer with a training halter (she has always travelled in a trailer with me). She travels well on both.

Genuine reason for sale. She is better with unrestricted turn out and shelter and for this reason I won't sell her to a home with limited turn out. She is currently coming back in to work after a winter break. She is a kind mare but not for absolute novices. Happy to discuss her past veterinary history.

Izzy would suit a home for general all round activities, hacking, and veteran showing. Homes will be checked for suitability and good home is more important than price. Price to include some rugs and tack is available by separate negotiation. Based near Thetford Forest.

Sturdy type with a leg in each corner, so takes the leg up well. I’ve owned Daffy for 4 years, we’ve mainly hacked and done light schoolwork, she does love to pop over a little jump.

She has been at a busy equestrian centre for the last couple years on working livery, she does enjoy the busy environment of people and horses, but she isn’t really a school horse.

Currently out in the day and stabled at night due to the centres schedule but otherwise happily turns out.

She can be marish around other horses but oddly does enjoy their company and likes to have friends.

She will hack alone or in company, but I’d say she prefers company, easily rides on the buckle. We spent the first of couple years hacking the country lanes and moors.

Doesn’t buck or rear and never bolted. She is a very honest horse.

Good in traffic, shoe and clip, up to date with vaccinations and has her teeth done and physio every 6 months. In summary I think she’d prefer a hacking/fun ride life though if you have the time to spend you may get her to improve on her schooling.

She requires a competent/confident rider, she isn’t strong to ride but she does have power.

Sad sale through no fault of her own. 5* home required where she can have the love and attention she deserves, I’m in no rush to sell. Tack and rugs available, new saddle fitted 10 months ago.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane.

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics…. maybe the odd local show in future - but just for fun! I will often be hacking alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us on a quiet yard. I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

* I do appreciate that no horse is ‘perfect’ & that ‘bombproof’ does not exist & I am open to compromise but please do just be honest about any possible known ‘issues’ as I will not buy unseen & would want to have any potential horse vetted *

Has been to an arena hire now and xc schooling. Went out for her first time away from home on her own and didn’t put a foot wrong. Super easy to load and travel in the trailer , easy to mount and handle away from home. Schooled sweetly in a new arena and then popped round her first xc fences showing a willing attitude and good shape over solid fences. She is bold as brass. Ready to enjoy the summer and be produced on further.

Sulli was super easy to clip , shoe , have her teeth done etc , she’s good to load and travel. Needs a bit more work with the hose pipe ! Please no novices or nervous riders , she is still young and needs producing further. No vices. Serious enquiries only , I don’t have time to do endless viewings as relying on staff at the moment.

Rosie is a fun, forward-going mare who enjoys her work and is always keen to get on with a job.

She has previously done plenty of show jumping, dressage and hunting in her last home. Since being with us she has been out hunting a few times towards the end of the season, as well as fun rides, beach rides, cross country schooling and pub rides.

Hunting, she has been out with the Coakham Bloodhounds and Staff College. She loves hacking, is good in traffic and in open spaces. She is again keen and enjoys her work, but is still a safe ride.

Rosie would suit an experienced, confident teenager or small adult who enjoys a forward ride, jumping and faster work. She would not suit a nervous novice rider.
