Coco is a super fun little mare with so much ability and scope for someone to have loads of fun on.

She’s done lots of British Showjumping with her owners where she has jumped several DCs at Discovery and had lots more scope to jump bigger classes. Never stops and she is very careful, always trying her hardest. Snaffle mouthed and very easy to ride.

We think a lot of Coco and think she would make a super little event mare and a great contender for the ROR Eventing series. Shes been XC schooling and jumps anything, straight in the water and unphased by ditches and skinnies.

Coco has also been hunting proving to be very good, snaffle mouthed and easy. Stands like a rock at the meet and will jump any country. I’m sure she’d hunt hounds, whip in, field master or go in point as well as being very happy in the field.

At home Coco is lovely to have around. She doesn’t need working every day but enjoys the work she does, she’s easy and very trainable. She’ll happily hack out alone and in company. She’s in a small herd in the field but equally happy on her own too. Travels in a trailer or lorry.
She does wear a windsucking collar as she very occasionally windsucks. Never with the collar on.

For more details and videos please WhatsApp “Coco” to 07903437622

Scout approx 16.1 rising 7yrs old.
Irish Sports Horse.

Scouts next new owner needs to be someone who doesn't mind having their face licked, zips pulled, hair played with and generally just in your face all the time wanting a fuss made of him.

He is the sweetest, kindest most affectionate horse who is so much fun and the easiest horse to do anything with.

He has three lovely, balanced uphill paces and so much scope and ability jumping.

He has predominantly hunted and competed in unregistered/unaffiliated shows and Hunter trials.

He is super out hacking in open spaces and is use to all of our farm machinery and lots of dogs running around him.

He is always very good when we take him away to different venues and he will wait patiently on the box on his own whilst the other horse has been taken away from him.

He'd be lovely for an amateur looking for a grassroots prospect eventing to have fun with but equally he has plenty of ability to go beyond that wether it be eventing, show jumping or you just want a nice smart hunter.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Bay gelding 5 years by up with the lark.

Good looking young horse has a lovely kind temperament. He loves hacking out and is ready to bring on in any discipline .

He is totally wasted as his rider is living away at university and has completely lost interest . He has been turned away for the summer and is now back in but unfortunately have no rider for him so he is not back in work. Hence

He is VERY reasonably priced

He is up to date with farrier and vaccinations .

Plenty of videos available of him on request.

He is a cracking young horse that needs to be out doing a job.

Sadly having to part with my beautiful boy, Pharoah. Rising 5 year old British sport horse. 15.1hh

Owned for the past 15 months. We love and adore him. He’s got a huge personality. Throws his bucket over door when he’s finished his feed. Steals your hat silk if he gets chance. Comes over and pesters you for cuddles when you muck him out. Really really kind and genuine horse.

He’s been hacked out quite a lot. Done some schooling and jump courses up to around 80cm at home. Been hacked and schooled by teenagers but taken back seat while I’ve focused on other older horses and let him mature. Has done a SJ arena hire and XC hire. Went nicely over the XC and just looked at the SJ a bit more. Only selling to put all my time and money in to the two I’m competing as it starts getting expensive competing 2 already.

Good with the farrier, to catch load etc. He’s got welsh in his breeding and is the typical, always fat, lives on thin air and always lots of energy welsh genes.

Would suit competent teen to produce further. Not a total novice just down to his age. Definitely a perfect happy hacker as he’s great with traffic, water crossing and totally fine to go out alone.

Just been shod. Up to date with his teeth and vaccines.

Arena and easy hacking available for any ridden trials. 5* home please for my special boy.

Marvin is looking for a kind, experienced home to bring him back into work.
He has been out of work since about May this year due to me not having the time. Before his time off I was just hacking out and riding around our fields which he has been very chilled and was very happy to do what was asked of him.

I was told in his last home he did abit of everything and he was a good all rounder.

He as live out 24/7 in summer and since September he as had the nights in. He is easy to catch, when he knows you he will just follow you in.
Anyone can turn him out or bring him in.
He is good for the dentist, physio and improving with the farrier sometimes he just needs a few treats. He has front shoes on.

He is a genuinely kind horse who tries hard but he does need to build his trust with you.

I just don’t have the time so I feel it’s only fair to find him a home where he can get the consistency and attention he deserves.

He is updated with everything.

He is sensitive round his back legs but if you take your time with him he is fine, this as improved since I have had him but I do believe someone who could work with him more consistency this wouldn’t be an issue.

Also he does had a bump on him face just abit above his nose, this doesn’t affect him at all. He had this before I had him. When his bridle is on or headcollar you can’t see it. See photo

7 year old, bay gelding, ex racehorse

Absolutely beautiful in every way, movement , looks and temperament this gentleman has it all!

Hacks out alone or in company, happy to lead or go behind. Perfect lead horse just gets on with his job!

3 balanced paces, very green in flatwork but huge movement, really floaty and so effortless! Would excel in a dressage arena.

Raced on the flat hasn’t yet started jumping

would suit an ambitious amateur or competent teenager looking to do more, a family horse or someone even just wanting a quiet horse to ride around a few days a week.

Very bold! And so professional, bombproof in the heaviest of traffic! Crosses A roads, cars and trailers not an issue, perfect with farm machinery working right next to the arena

Good in open fields; will walk, trot or canter whatever you ask him to do, although he does love his job and is forward off of the leg, Go in front or behind.

A really fun horse with heaps of potential

A lot of fun and very eye catching

Fossos is fit and ready to go out and about! He is racing fit

He has been hunting, good as gold, likes to keep his feet moving when with the group rather than stand around but as soon as you move away will stand all day, leaves the hunt , not worried about leaving the horses on his own, will walk when others are cantering, genuinely a real sweetie!

Please note he isn’t a novice ride, he is always safe and always snaffle mouthed but needs an experienced/confident rider to bring him on

No vices or injuries . Never bites or kicks or pulls a face, he is a very friendly person

I do not have copious videos of photos of this chap as of yet and won’t have until beginning of next week, however I do feel someone will snap him up very quickly so he won’t hang around!

Open to viewings and vetting’s

Schoolmistress looking for a hunting home

Ref #: 392948
  • Experienced Safe Schoolmistress looking for a quieter life in her favourite discipline
  • Great to hack alone or in company
  • Low maintenance and well-mannered; easy to shoe, clip, catch and load
  • Chestnut
  • Mare
  • 21 years
  • 15.2 hands
  • Experienced Safe Schoolmistress looking for a quieter life in her favourite discipline
  • Great to hack alone or in company
  • Low maintenance and well-mannered; easy to shoe, clip, catch and load

Saffy is a much-loved, beautifully mannered schoolmistress who has truly done it all. At 21 years young she is not ready to retire and still has plenty to offer, but she deserves a quieter lifestyle suited to her age and preference. A busy Pony Club home with frequent shows and clinics is no longer fair on her; her heart lies firmly in hunting.

She would suit a lightweight adult, or teen looking for a safe, polite hunter. She is incredibly reliable out hunting — happy to potter at the back, impeccably mannered and sensible enough to accompany a younger combination. She has a bold, honest jump and will happily pop small hedges and timber, but due to her age she is not suited to fast days or big demands.

Saffy is good to hack alone and in company. My teenage daughter hacks her out in open countryside without any issues. She came to us from a farm environment. She’s never been a huge fan of farm machinery; she doesn’t do anything just needs space to pass.

She has been with us for two years and has done her job perfectly for my teenage daughter doing all pony club activities, including hound exercise and children’s meets. My daughter now needs a larger horse to jump bigger tracks SJ and XC. Saffy has never been lame, sick or sorry, is easy to shoe, clip, catch and load in a trailer or lorry, snaffle-mouthed for everyday riding, and very straightforward to manage. She prefers being out but does feel the cold, so appreciates sensible rugging or stabling in extremes. Her full history is known, and she is open to any vetting.

Saffy deserves a kind hunting home that will value her experience, understand her age, and let her enjoy the hunting lifestyle she loves most. She comes with her full wardrobe and tack.

Genuine enquiries only — the right home is our top priority for this special mare.

A true gentleman of a horse

Barry is now looking for his forever family/person.

I bought Barry with the intention he’d join my little team forever however due to being made redundant I have no choice but to find Barry the perfect home.
His last home was 6 years and he’s never wanted for anything.

He’s a real fun alrounder that knows his stuff. He’s been there for the t shirt, he enjoys everything from dressage to fun/beach rides.

Whist he’s not a complete novice ride as at times can look for reassurance he is doing what’s asked of him. he’s very good boy to do in all ways and loves nothing more than you to get off board smiling. He’s never bucked/reared etc etc.

With me we’ve mainly hacked as that’s what I love to do, he’s the type to be more bothered by a packet of crisps on the side of the road rather than heavy traffic, I have hacked him alone and in company.

My sister has jumped him at a few different venues and again he’s genuinely loved every minute, he’ll look after you if your unbalanced to a fence but does like a confident ride to a fence in new places, he’ll always get you over the other side.

We’ve jumped him around courses of 80-90 but his scope would be much more with the work put into him

He’s super well schooled and would be in a position to go and do a novice dressage test tomrrow it’s just not something iv been too interested in doing.

Hell stand all day to be bathed, clipped , shod etc - brilliant manners on the ground I’d happily let my partners young children walk him in and out of the paddocks

There’s so much more to say about this wonderful horse please do get in touch if you think you could offer him the perfect home he deserves.

He’s up to date with all the basics and is currently in 4-5 days a week work be it mostly hacking he will school and jump at least once a week to keep him ticking whilst I find him a new family.

Being 14 I know all his history inc some minor medical history which I’m happy to discuss in full detials - this is all clear and X-rays to show this is no longer and never will be an issue again.

Thanks for your time to read this advert

Please no time wastes this is a hard decision for me

Jessie is a very kind, sweet horse who people cannot help but fall in love with. Not only is she beautiful to look at, very nice short coupled conformation, big uphill paces she also has the best personality a horse can have.

Not at all marish, she turns out with mares, geldings or alone, excellent to catch, load, shoe, bath, in and out of the stable and is just an absolute pleasure to have around.

Jessie improves every time under saddle, schooling nicely in all 3 paces and learning some basic lateral work. She’s intelligent and a quick learner, however she wouldn’t suit a novice rider as still has so much to learn herself although hasn’t bucked, reared, napped or done anything out of line.

We have popped a few fences which she seems to enjoy, she always has a go and never says no.

Jessie hacks alone or in company, she’s excellent in traffic, hacks over the M62 and over railway crossings, stands at traffic lights and will hack past a busy school whilst children are playing.

Absolutely no vices, the loveliest horse to have on the yard. Totally clean legged and excellent feet (only shod in front) no blemishes. Would either be hogged out as a cob or would plait as a show hunter.

Up to date with worming, farrier and dentist.

Only a very special home need apply as she really wants a best friend.

Vino is part trotter so please do not expect him to move like a grand prix dressage horse. Vino was backed late, so although he is 7 in age think of him more as a 5yo in education. For this reason he would not be suitable for a novice rider. He needs a confident educated rider who can further his training and who can bring the best out of him. Vino is a wonderful character and is one of the favourites on the livery yard where he is based.

He is working well on the flat in all 3 paces, he is very willing, loves to work and loves to please. He jumps well although he isn't always the bravest, he has a huge jump and with confidence, training and guidance he will learn that he doesn't always need to use maximum effort. He has a lovely soft nature and loves attention.

Vino is good to bath, shoe, catch, groom, dentist etc. ( he will hack well alone or in company first or last)

Vino is for sale as his current owner over horsed herself at the start (she is only 14, small and novice)
She has tried to persevere with him with regular lessons and training for him but she cannot maintain his way of going.

We truly believe Vino will flourish with a more knowledgeable rider, and the current owner would come on with an older, more been there done it type that is a little smaller.

Very flashy,
Good jump,

Low mileage for his age competition wise, due to owner enjoying hacking and flatwork.

But has done some showjumping and xc schooled.

Has lots of potential for someone that wants to produce him further.

Good to hack.

Snaffle mouth.

Lovely on the ground friendly and well mannered.

Will make someone a really nice horse.

Registered Clydesdale mare.
Fantastic ride and drive.
Recently started schooling as mainly hacked and driven but she’s taken to it like a duck to water, lovely to work with, responsive and aims to please.
She’s designed for comfort, not for speed, she will happily plod but step up a gear when asked.
Super kind temperament, loves a fuss and cuddle.
Golden to catch, box, shoe, clip etc.
Very flashy, definitely stands out from the crowd and good enough to show.
100% sound, open to vet.
A type you rarely see on the market.

Maggie is a big cuddly teddy bear. I have owned her for 3 years. She has nice flat work and is just in a snaffle bit at all times. She has 3 nice paces at walk trot and canter and can do a nice prelim dressage test.

She happily jumps round a small course of fences and is very sane and steady to ride to a jump. She has worked in my riding school since a 4 year old and has been used for novice and beginner riders.

Maggie is a super hack where she is happy to walk by anything and is good in traffic. She is a real sit on and daydream hack. Maggie is really kind in the stable and loves her cuddles.

15.2hh 4, rising 5 year old Irish gelding, still filling out and maturing to do.

A lovely type, tri colour, he has feather but i have recently fully clipped him he looks fabulous either way.

Teddy has a lovely temperament, very sweet. He works well in the school, 3 balanced paces, bends, picks up the correct canter leads etc. Hacks alone and in company and has been great with the traffic we have seen- tractors, lorries, combines. He has super natural jumping ability, has popped any thing we have asked, SJ and XC. He has jumped a handful of times but showing such brilliant potential being brave, bold and scopey. He is off the leg and not kick along. He is responsive, lovely forward going ride.

We have taken teddy to arena hires and new environments. Indoors, out doors.
He loads and travels well alone and in company.

We have attended dressage competitions, prelim 1, prelim 2 and prelim 4. First was an evening dressage so new experience of loading and travelling in the dark, he behaved perfectly with horses cantering towards and behind him in the warm up, was very well behaved and wasn’t at all bothered. 64.2%. Easy to take out and about on your own.
Then a day time doing prelim 1, 66% and prelim 4, 62.5% where we bettered our score in prelim 1 and had our first go in a long arena and white boards, was fantastic didn’t look at them! Full video available on cox equestrian services facebook page. Most recently back to evening dressage where we did prelim 2 and scored 68.2%. All sheets available.

Teddy will suit most disciplines, hacking, dressage, jumping, low level eventing, hunting. He has the ability to do well in any.

Teddy will thrive off a relationship and getting to know some one or having a family of his own. He is a diamond that i could see doing really well in all disciplines. A mother daughter share, a great hack but plenty of talent to excel in pony club/riding club and the competitions we all love doing at the weekend.
No novices please, he is young and take’s confidence from his rider. As i say with any youngsters, no un balanced riders, some one that can build confidence and give direction is still wanted at this age. He is un sure of new people initially.

Teddy is up to date with wormer, shoes, vaccinations and teeth and ready to enjoy his life with some one. Very regular up to date videos on our Facebook page, cox equestrian services. Jumping, hacking, schooling, traffic and so on. Or whats app for full videos of the above. We have slowly and sympathetically produced him to this point.

Open to any vetting. Viewing’s available north wales.

Floras a super sweet little mare, I backed her for her owners in the summer followed by a month in the field. Now she’s back and ready to look for her forever home due to being a bit too small.

Shes proven to have a great attitude to her ridden work, has started popping small fences and hacking out alone and in company. She is used to farm machinery, and will happily school next to a busy working farm.

She is good to trim, load and catch, and is all round lovely to look after. I would consider her a very easy young horse to ride, however she is still a 4 year old that needs to continue her education therefore wouldn’t suit a complete novice. However she would be perfect first youngster for a competent young rider.

Flora is homebred so all history is known, She’s been professionally backed and ridden away and hasn’t shown any vices- Has never bucked reared or bolted.

Ridden in a snaffle, good in open spaces. She’s been on her first arena hire and was perfect, easy to tack up by the lorry and not spooky or fresh being away from home.

She jumped everything I asked her too and was bold and confident up and down steps and into the water.

Her price will increase the more she does with me
