Buddy is a big, handsome young horse with a fantastic attitude and a wonderfully unflappable nature.

Professionally backed as a 3-year-old, Buddy has spent the summer quietly hacking and gaining valuable experience. He is great in traffic, hacks alone or in company, and is excellent in open spaces. He is practically unflappable and takes everything in his stride.

Buddy is also fantastic with livestock and has even been used to help move cattle, which he takes completely in his stride.

He is easy to have around and good to do in every way — shoe, box, catch, handle etc. He has recently started jumping and is proving himself to be very honest, willing and straightforward. Nothing seems to phase him.

We feel Buddy would make a lovely hunter, riding club horse or weight-carrying allrounder. He has the size, temperament and attitude to suit a variety of homes and disciplines.

He is still green, as you would expect from a 4-year-old, but has already been ridden by novices, children and more experienced riders. Dave is a lovely stamp of an Irish sports horse, with a full Irish passport. Grand son to national Grand Prix winner Cruisings Micky Finn.

He is a 10 years old, 17hh, grey, gelding. Dave has hunted in Ireland and has proven to have a scopey jump and is forward going without being strong.

Over the last few years he has been used as an all rounder, doing a few local shows and general hacking.

He is good to hack out on roads alone and in company. He is good in traffic but likes to be turned to face big wagons, but has never been unsafe.

Dave is so very sweet. A toddler could lead him with only a headcollar and lead rope and he would follow like a dog.

Brilliant to load, he would get in your car if you asked him to.

Great for farrier and vet but is never sick or sorry.

He is currently barefoot with rubber shoes for hacking, but he will happily be shod if you prefer, I just like to turn out in winter so due to mud, barefoot is my preference.

Dave has a beautiful soul and I will miss him dearly, but he is wasted with me as I feel he could go far with a more accomplished rider.

Dream is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. He is very well bred registered ISH being half Connemara and half ISH, he has his full breeding recorded with 5 generations of pedigree. He is a gorgeous unique bay roan with a silver mane and tail and really stands out from the crowd. He has a very handsome head with a kind eye that just draws people to him. He is a super stamp and a lovely desirable size so would suit both teenagers coming off ponies as well as adults alike; making him a super mother/daughter share. He has excellent conformation, clean limbs, is blemish free and has straight movement. He would excel in the show ring in working hunter clases. Dream has three super paces and works nicely on the flat. He has a very soft snaffle mouth with a lovely contact feel. He works correctly between leg and hand into a soft outline. He is a lovely medium speed to ride where you can nicely get your leg on him but you haven’t got to keep nagging. He is not at all sharp or hot, he is very level headed and sensible. He makes you feel confident and safe. He is a very good boy to ride with no ridden vices; people can’t believe he is 4 as he is better behaved than most 8 year olds. He would suit lots of riders a she is straightforward but I wouldn’t like him to go to a novice as he is still young and isn’t the finished product just yet. I just think he deserves a rider who knows what they are doing. He is a very easy youngster who has had the correct start and would be easy enough for a competent teen coming off ponies or amateur to produce further. He has such a lovely attitude to his work and is a quick learner who always has a smile on his face. He has been out to a few unaffiliated dressage competitions in Ireland where he was well placed. He has the potential to excel in dressage at riding club and affiliated level.

Dream loves his jumping and makes a lovely shape over a fence. He is very honest and genuine to jump. He doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is nice and brave and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. He is lovely and rideable around a course of jumps, maintaining his rhythm. He has been out to compete in sj and arena eventing in Ireland, where he won a Horse Sport Ireland arena eventing competition at 80cm. He has been jumping around 90cm at arena hires with plenty of scope to step up to 1m. He is very good to ride at new places and has a very good attitude to his jumping with a lovely adjustable canter.

He is equally as bold over xc jumps. He proved very straight forward and easy to ride jumping everything asked of him including going through the water. He nicely takes you into the jumps but isn’t at all strong, always in a snaffle, very polite. I can see him really excelling as an eventer or top end riding club horse as he is brilliant at all 3 disciplines. He would make a super Badminton grass roots prospect.

Dream is super to hack alone and in company. He is good in traffic and confident in his own skin. If a large lorry or tractor comes past we just stand in a driveway and let him look at it but he’s a very good boy. He is brilliant in open spaces, very sane and sensible. He is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order on an easy rein. He has been on pleasure rides which he loves and is so much fun. He has also hunted on several occasions last season in Ireland where he took it all in his stride. He would be very well suited to someone wanting to combine pleasure rides with competing, or equally just one or the other. Equally he would be lovely for mum to hack whilst daughter competes.

Dream has a superb kind friendly temperament. He’s like an over grown Labrador. He loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend as he is so interactive and forms a really strong bond. He loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. He is a good to handle in all ways. He lives in and out and is happy turned out next to or in with other horses, he is very quiet in the field and gets on well with all horses and ponies. Fred is best suited to a confident rider and would make a lovely horse for someone looking to hack, hunt and enjoy. Fred always looks after his rider, my daughter has never falling off him in the four years we have owned him.

Fred does have a known veterinary history and may require some ongoing management. Whilst some low-level Pony Club work could be considered for the right rider, we feel hunting and hacking would be the best fit for him moving forward.
