15.1 Appaloosa mare 8yo. A kind, easy mare with genuine talent. She has three flashy, quality paces and a balanced, easy, natural jump, never phased by fillers. She is well educated and straightforward to ride.

Her owner has done a fantastic job giving her excellent manners, making her a pleasure to have around the yard and to handle. She is good to shoe, load and clip, and is easy in all aspects of daily management.

On the flat she works in a natural outline, moving in a rhythmical, correct way.

She is bold over cross-country fences, despite not having done a huge amount of XC to date.

She has been hunting, where she was excellent – not strong or silly in any way.

Great to hack alone or in company. She is sensible in open spaces, does not get silly when cantering, and will happily pop ditches. Goes first, last, or sits quietly in the middle of the ride.

Gus has the most exceptional temperament and an absolute pleasure to have on the yard and to do anything with! He is such an affectionate, kind boy who loves having a fuss made of him.
He is super brave and honest jumping and such a genuine, reliable little horse. He has three smart uphill balanced paces with the most beautiful trot. He would be a super prospect for Badminton Grassroots.
He is so easy to take away to different venues, totally unphased when we leave him standing in the box whilst we take the other horse away from him. He loads and travels beautifully.
We have taken him to lots of different venues Show jumping and cross country schooling and he goes round like a total pro for us, not a single hesitation and jumps all the fillers, water etc no questions asked.
He is such a chilled out boy with a real "can do" attitude to life, old head on young shoulders and takes everything in his stride. He's nicely forward going off the leg and has a lovely athletic jump.
He has done hunter trials, unregistered show jumping and hunted multiple times.
He is an absolute dream out hacking! Hacks alone and in company, open spaces, country lanes, traffic and he is use to farm machinery and lots of dogs running around him.
Gus will make someone a really smart, quality, fun allrounder. He would suit a mother/ teenager share. He has such a lovely kind nature and wants to please.

He has attended fun rides and pleasure rides and thoroughly enjoys an active lifestyle. Rocky hacks happily alone or in company and is unfazed by traffic or new environments.

He hasn’t been pushed or overdone. Instead, he’s been allowed to mature into a horse that enjoys people, takes life in his stride and gives you that lovely safe feeling when you sit on him. He’s the type you can picture becoming someone’s best friend, whether that’s hacking, low-level competition, riding club fun or simply being an all-round enjoyable horse to own.

Easy to handle, groom, tack up etc and must be patient and able to stand without fidgeting when mounted and at halt

Our current 6 horses and ponies lead useful, long term working lives at a knowledgeable and dedicated West Oxfordshire equestrian charity.

We have funds available to buy the right horse subject to full vetting and will also consider a long term loan agreement.
