Flamborough Head

* Rising 7year old

Flamborough is reluctantly up for sale due through no fault of his own.

He is never strong or silly brilliant in open spaces. Flamborough would make a top eventer/show horse he has 3 lovely balanced paces he feels like you’re sitting in an arm chair he jumps for fun and would really suit someone who wants to go up the levels. He is a Stunning prospect for eventing and show horse. He has all the qualities to make a HOYS working hunter.

He is an absolute dream to clip, bath, shoe he is honestly a pleasure to have on our yard he causes no trouble.

Although he is an absolute saint he is not suitable for a novice as he is young and can have his babyish moments.

Flamborough has been to arena hires which he has really enjoyed unfortunately i haven’t competed him as i don’t have much time with work but he will be going out until he is sold.

Genuine sale of a much loved boy who catches everyones eye and has been a pleasure to break and ride he really will make someone happy. Only for sale as lack of time.

Every Amateur’s Dream!
With the biggest of hearts!

This absolute superstar is one in a million. He is what every amateur rider needs, kind, genuine, sane, straightforward and doesn’t question what’s asked of him!
He has an exceptional temperament, a level head but also looks the part and will turn his hoof to any job!

Popcorn is an approx 16.2hh 5yr old palomino Irish gelding, a beautiful stamp with a leg in each corner, well conformed with great feet and clean limbs. The type which are so sought after, he isn’t going to win the grand national or go round badmington 5* but he is genuine, honest and a real trier, wether you want a super hunter, to go BS/BE/BD or join to riding club and go to camp he will literally do it all!

He will take any rider, wether your slightly rusty and lacking some confidence, he doesn’t mind rider errors and isn’t a sensitive soul yet is more than capable of going up the gears for someone who wants to do more and move through the grades.

He has been lightly educated in all disciplines to give his brain variety whilst being mindful of his age and maturing body. From dressage, to arena eventing, showjumping, xc schooling, riding club and hunting he has proved to be willing to give anything a go and literally is the ultimate allrounder!

Popcorn has three lovely paces and the most fabulous arm chair canter which is super to sit on. He is working correctly and consistently in all three paces, is snaffle mouthed and works well from the leg without being sharp. Has been out to multiple unaffilated dressage shows proving to be loved by the judges with some great comments(scores averaging 66-68%)about his future potential in this phase as his education progresses. He has all the ability and ride ability to be successful down the BD route if his new rider wishes.

This lovely boy loves his jumping whilst always proving rhythmical and respectful of his rider. He doesn’t need a perfect stride or a professional rider, he isn’t phased if you land in a bit of a heap or if your nerves take over. He is genuine, honest and has a big heart. He is comfortably jumping 1m tracks and has showed he has all the scope for the future to go on if required but as a young willing horse at he start of his career we don’t feel he needs to be jumping any bigger at this stage in his education.

Easily schooling be90/be100 out xc schooling, popped straight around the simulated arena eventing at aintree including all the jump for joy skinnies without any fuss. Isn’t phased by water, ditches, steps. Has done some unaffilated riding club events proving he would be a great BE/grassroots contender.

Hunted both with the Readyfield and Barlow including ladies day where he was absolutely unphased by a very busy day, stands very well at the meet, great with hounds, has crossed all types of country from walls, timber, hedges, ditches and is very reliable and can get himself out of trouble if required.

A joy to have around on the yard, low maintenance and stress free! He doesn’t need daily riding to keep him sane and is no different whether he’s ridden once a week or 5 days a week. Will live in or out, no vices, great stable manners. Good to box(trailer/lorry),shoe,clip,catch,plait,wash.

Great to hack out both alone and in company, is hacked alone on a daily basis with no fuss. Proven to be great in all traffic, including tractors and motors bikes, isn’t phased in open spaces, around the busy village or out on the forestry tracks. Always had his ears forward and wants to please!

Full history known, no medical history, has flown through a thorough vetting upon purchase. Hunted last weekend so is fit up and running and ready to have a summer of fun.

Seriously special horse who you won’t find everyday. His temperament is everything and he will only be sold to someone who appreciates his genuine nature. Will do any job with any rider, could easily work through the grades BE/BS/BD but equally would be happy being a family friend and a pet he doesn’t need to be a competition horse he’s more than happy as long as he’s fed.

Excellent stamp of a Traditional Gypsy Cob 15.1hh coloured gelding, rising 5yrs ( 5 late July) . Passported TGCA , red stud book .

By San Cler Pearl Ambition out of Acresdale Hairy Mary, who is by the lovely sort after stallion SHAMBO .

Since being with us Rodney has turned heads showing , winning or being placed in every class entered ( inhand and ridden coloureds and cobs) .

We have been told by a professional show breeder and producer to show him County level as he has the potential to qualify HOYS / Royal International etc, but it's not really our thing .

He does a lot of hacking with us, through fords, common land and in traffic. He goes in front or behind and everyone who rides him falls in love. He hasn't done much jumping yet due to his age but has recently been arena XC and jumped absolutely everything asked including water, ditches, steps. I call him Mr "Yes" Man . Still green / wobbly schooling but has three basic paces and ready first someone to put their own stamp on .

Rodney was purchased on a wim last Autumn as current pony was lame but sadly he is going to be too big for the jockey he was meant for so we have come to the sad reality that he needs his forever home. Honest sort that is very hard to find.

Very sweet boy who is going to be someones best friend for life . No vices, up to date worming, teeth, vaccinations etc . A star in the making . Essex.

  • 14 years
  • 15.2 hands
  • He can do piaffe , passage and Spanish work
  • He has done loads of hacking over the past four years

After putting this off for over a year, we have now decided that Harry needs to find a new home.
He is a grey 14 year old. 15’2 Andalusian.

We got Harry from Spain five years ago, from a lovely stud where he was trained to do dressage. He did have a vetting when he left Spain and passed with flying colours.
He can do piaff , passage and Spanish work.
When you get him in the school, he goes absolutely beautiful, even if you do, just want to do walk, trot and canter.
When he came to England from Spain, my 70 year old grandmother was riding him hacking him and he was absolutely brilliant never put a foot wrong.
Would stand there for hours been bathed and groomed.
After a while, my grandmothers back started playing up, so he came to us where my mother started her journey on him.

He has done loads of hacking over the past four years. He has done pleasure rides been to the beach. Loads of forest rides done a couple of unaffiliated dressage competitions and he just excels at everything.
No matter what you do with Harry, he stays cool, calm and collected. He stands there at the horsebox or trailer for you to tuck him up and groom him and get him ready. He has impeccable manners
He is absolutely fantastic in traffic. We live in the countryside so we have lots of tractors and lorries and he never bats an eyelid even going past him on a tiny little road.
He is used to other horses and ponies.
He is currently living out at the moment, but he lives in or out he’s not fussed at all.
The only reason we are selling him is that he doesn’t do enough here, he gets hacked a couple times a week and we just feel like he’s completely wasted.
He’s a type of horse that you could ride every day and do lots of stuff with or you can leave him in the field for three months. Not touch him then just decide to tack him straight up and go out for a really lovely ride.

He’s has had children ride him, even my two-year-old little boy sits on him after he’s been ridden, and Harry just takes everything in his stride.
Harry has had no health issues with us, never a day lame.
He is currently barefoot at the moment, but when he is in work, we have him fully shod, but it doesn’t really make a difference to him.

He will stand for the farrier impeccably. He loads amazing there is just nothing this horse is bothered by.

He is just unfortunately wasted in the field with us due to my mothers ill health , only being ridden a couple of times a week and we know that he could be so much more than what he has at the moment.
We will only let this horse go to a really special home.
No novice riders, and please no time wasters as this has been a hard enough decision to make.
Please don’t hesitate to give me a call to ask any questions.
Five Star homes only for this incredible horse.

Suzie is a 16.2hh 3 year old Irish Draught filly on a green book with full recorded breeding. She is an unbroken blank canvas ready for someone to put their own stamp on.

She turns out in a mixed herd and comes to call in the field, she is also content to be stabled with no vices. She is good to handle and has a lovely kind temperament, the sort that loves a fuss and wants to be your friend.

Suzie is an athletic filly with plenty of bone and presence and shows an impressive loose jump, she could go on to make a quality hunter, eventer or allround riding horse - the world is her oyster.

She has a small scar on her back left pastern from an old field injury which does not affect her in any way.

A lovely genuine young horse with plenty of potential for someone wanting a quality Irish Draught to bring on.

153cm 9yo Hanoverian X Pt bred Arab

This beautiful bay gelding is sadly for sale due to business and family commitments, and he is totally wasted and bored in his current home with his 50-year-old rider. He has competed in dressage and has won/ placed in several unaffiliated tests.

He is well bred and could be suited to many different disciplines from working hunter, eventing, show jumping, hunting or a competitive pony club competition horse.

He recently attended PC camp at Somerford where and enjoyed SJ and XC ,and is now ready to find his next home who can crack on. Ideally suited to a competitive older teen or adult who has the experience to get the most out of him in any discipline and take him to the next level. He is a competition horse so not suited to a novice rider, as he needs a confident rider not a passenger to reach his potential. He’s not nasty, just needs direction and no nonsense.

He is well put together, with excellent confirmation, and has straight work man like, ground covering paces. He loves jumping and is very scopey and should be out competing at a decent level (not tootling round 60cm with his current owner!). He was shown successfully as a 2yr old and people often comment about his good looks.

Good to load, travel, shoe, clip and is easy to deal with in the stable and at competitions. He hacks out and loves going on farm rides.

He is very well-bred, out of Farenella Valencia (PBA) by the legendary stallion Fairlyn Gemini. His dam was very successful in the show ring and qualified Hoys hacks, intermediate and cuddy supreme in hand. She won and was champion at many major shows both in hand and ridden. Hi sire Rachan Westcountry has been successful in the working hunter ring and on the flat. His Grandsire is Broadstone Westcountry the famous Hanoverian Prix St George stallion

No life height certificate.

A very smart young horse that will excel in a variety of disciplines.

Ivy is by Chillout, a stallion that has a progeny of some of the most successful eventers. His dam is also very well bred by Luidam who has a long line of relatives that have been successful at the highest level of competition.

Has a very natural way of going and is balanced. Snaffle mouthed at all times.

Ivy has been out jumping at arena hires SJ and XC and had a lesson. She shows real promise over a fence. In addition, she is super straight, brave and forward thinking without being too hot.

Ivy has been good to hack alone and in company including on the roads. Will go first or last.

Ivy has a very lovable character, and has been fantastic around children and dogs. She loves fuss and attention and is very mannerly. She is good to trim, load, clip and catch etc. A very easy horse to deal with.

The right home for this little horse is priority. She has a very bright future ahead of her.

For sale due to no fault of her own. Genuine mare who has an old head on young shoulders and is sane and sensible. No lumps, bumps or sarcoids. No vices and open to vetting. Fully vaccinated and up to date with everything.

Sassy is a beautiful girl with a heart of gold. She has a super attitude, always happy and willing to undertake any job we throw at her.

She has been schooled up to 90cm/100cm and competed up to 90cm (showjumping), taken out eventing up to 80cm, and dressaged up to novice with consist scores above 65%. With a mega jump and fantastic paces she is set up to become a great event/dressage/working hunter mare.

She is a straightforward girl who is easy to hack, travel, and compete. She hacks both alone and in company and loves a good gallop on the beach! She travels well and is easy handle away from home as I often compete alone. Not spooky at fillers, competition environments, or in heavy traffic.

She is sadly for sale as I cannot afford her the time and attention that she deserves. She is ideal for a competent rider looking to for a super fun horse to take out and about.

Carrig is the PERFECT allrounder who would be a great contender for grassroots competitions.

He has 3 correct paces which will be competitive in dressage and is clever jumping, never over jumps so gives a comfy feeling, but is careful and scopey enough to happily jump round 100s.

Carrig has lightly evented with his current owner and done riding club activities. As a young horse he was bought by a huntsman to hunt, he did a couple of days but then they stopped hunting so he was sold on. He has a very good brain, never hot or fizzy and is the exact same at home or away at a competition which is lovely and easy! He's snaffle mouthed with just a cavesson noseband in all 3 phases.

He is the most gentle and cuddly horse in a stable, and easy to deal with on the ground. He currently lives out, but has lived in and either suits him.

He's for sale through no fault of his own, the owners no longer have the time to give to him and have moved to a busy pig farm where unfortunately he has never settled. They have decided it is a waste of a lovely horse that could give someone so much pleasure out and about competing and having fun! We can't sing his praises enough, he really is one of the easiest horses on the yard.

She is careful and bold, a forward fun ride.

Not an easy sell, I love Darcy to pieces but unfortunately due to moving away I cannot keep her anymore. I’m really hoping to find a new forever home for her to have the best life at. She has proved herself time and time again and now could do with a steadier pace more happy hacking with the occasional outing or competition

She’s a brilliant all rounder, would be perfect for a mother/daughter share. She’s was home bred and has been mine since I was 9. She’s an Irish sports horse cross argintinian mix as her father was a showjumper and mother was a polo horse. Additionally, I’ve put strawberry roan but she’s more pinky and would be suitable for dilute coloured classes

She’s been shown to a high level and I’ve done all pony club activities, (where instructors have always loved her) including hunting which she is great fun for and enjoys immensely.

She’s easy to clip, shoe, catch and travel, but will not travel facing forwards must be backwards or herringbone but then is 100%.

A nice, easy ride but not a first horse for a beginner. Shes a lovely little fun horse, I’m looking for a knowledgeable, loving home for her so no novices.

Her only flaw is she does weave when stressed. Therefore she needs a weaving grid. However once settled in a place she will calm.

I only want the very best for this mare she means the world to me. I’m very happy for a couple week trial I understand the stress of a new horse.
