Cosmo is a very smart, quality gelding with lovely movement and plenty of presence. He was originally bought to produce as a showjumper, but we feel his happiest future lies in a varied home where life isn’t centred around daily schooling in an arena.

Cosmo absolutely loves a day’s hunting and really comes into his own away from home. He is great to take out, loads and travels well, and generally thrives when his work is interesting and varied. He hacks out and is an alert, forward-thinking ride.

In the school, Cosmo can become arena-sour and will go behind the leg when he feels he is being drilled or asked to do the same thing repeatedly. He is much better with a patient approach, plenty of variety and no pressure. For this reason, we feel a hunting home, or a home wanting a smart horse to hack, hunt and enjoy a varied life with, would suit him far better than a competitive home expecting regular arena work.

On the ground, Cosmo is still learning about personal space. He is currently led to the field in a pressure halter as he can be keen and excited to get turned out. He isn’t a horse that barges past you, but he does need someone confident and consistent with his handling.

He currently wears front shoes and requires Sedalin gel for the farrier, after which he stands quietly to be shod.

Cosmo is a lovely horse with a lot to offer the right person. He would particularly suit someone on a sensible budget who has the time and patience to build a partnership with him, take things slowly and allow him to enjoy his work without pressure.

We genuinely believe that, given the right home and time, he could develop into an exceptional horse. He is being advertised honestly so that we can find the home that suits him, rather than trying to make him fit a job he doesn’t enjoy.

Gettingawaywithit, aka George, is a beautifully put together 6yo, approx 16.2hh TB gelding.

George only ran twice and proved himself fairly useless as a racehorse so is relatively low mileage. He last ran in Dec 2025, finished racing completely sound and was turned away for holiday.

Since starting his retraining he is proving himself to be an exceptional ROR type, with real quality that you don’t find everyday. His flatwork is beautiful, naturally going in a soft, supple outline, with three very balanced paces and a beautifully collected canter! George enjoys his jumping and is showing bags of ability and potential.

He has been to lots of outings and is actively out competing and has taken everything in his stride, proving to be incredibly easy and level headed when out and about. He is established in his basic flatwork, works well in a snaffle, and has established flying changes. He is not a sharp horse and is generally more of a laid-back ride. However, as with many quality young horses, he benefits from a confident, sympathetic rider who can continue his education. Similar to many Caretino bred horses, he can become opinionated if over-pressured or ridden inconsistently, so he is not suited to a novice home. His mum is also very well bred coming from a line of hoys winners.

He’s naturally very uphil and balanced with fantastic movement. From being a foal he has had the sweetest temprament and really straight forward to handle.

Since being with us Rodney has QUALIFIED FOR TOYS turned heads showing , winning or being placed in every class entered ( inhand and ridden coloureds and cobs) .

We have been told by a professional show breeder and producer to show him County level as he has the potential to qualify HOYS / Royal International etc, but it's not really our thing .

He has been to Pony Camp and was a star, jumped everything in site ( polework , dressage lesson, jumping and XC lessons) .

He does a lot of hacking with us, through fords, common land and in traffic. He goes in front or behind and everyone who rides him falls in love. Still green / wobbly schooling but has three basic paces and improving every ride, videos on request .

Rodney was purchased on a wim last Autumn as current pony was lame but sadly he is going to be too big for the jockey he was meant for so we have come to the sad reality that he needs his forever person. He has done absolutely nothing wrong. Honest sort that is very hard to find.
