HJB Duchess of Emeralds (aka Mya)
10 years
15.2hh
Irish Sports Horse

Mya is a beautiful versatile mare.
She comfortably competes at BD novice/ unaff elementary dressage
90cm/100cm Showjumping
80/90cm XC PC unaff eventing

We have had her for the past 4.5 years and has been ideal moving onto horses whilst still being safe knowing that she will look her jockey

She would be ideal for anyone wanting to compete at this level and have a lovely horse who is easy on the ground, a best friend and an absolute saint out hacking.

She would suit someone coming off of ponies and wanting to get used to riding something bigger, or someone wanting to gain confidence or have a horse as a best friend and to look after them

Her rider now want to focus on moving up the dressage levels. This is not Myas favourite thing to do but she does her level best.

Some of her many achievements include:
STARS Champion of Champions 2023 Champion Riding Club Horse and qualified in the exc. 153cm Working Hunter Class

JCB National Pony Club Championship 2023- 4th Intermediate DTM and qualified in the Intermediate section

BD Winter Regionals 2024- 67.29% at Novice placing 11th first try
Qualified for BRC championships in many disciplines
Attending a variety of Pony Club and British Riding Club camps.

Qualified JCB Pony Club Champs 2025 Inter & Open dressage

Easy to do with dentist, farrier, vet, clipping etc
Loads, travels, stands on box or trailer all day
Good on the ground, friendly in a herd, can stay in or be turned out
Doesn’t need working everyday. Pick her up and put her down at your leisure.
Hacks out alone or in company first or last. Including on the road.
Sane & sensible in everyway

Lucy is a beautiful, top class PBW mare who is just coming into her prime.

She has exceptional conformation and has the most beautiful, effortless movement.

She has got excellent old fashioned riding pony breeding on her dams side, and is by a coloured Grade A show jumper, and is full sister to the RIHS 2016 Supreme Pony, Tambrook My Destiny

We bought Lucy last year as my next ridden show horse, after her having a couple of years off and a foal, and whilst she is back in work, she just doesn't enjoy the ridden showing and gets very upset and stressed when in the actual ring. We don't feel it's right to keep trying her in the show ring under saddle, as she just isn't happy.

She loves hacking out and is good to be ridden at home and clinics, but will get bored of too much schooling.

She is absolutely phenomenal In-Hand and absolutely loves that side of things.

Lucy has had the most amazing year on the In-hand circuit 2024/2025, winning every time out and taking many championships, with some listed below:

2024
SEIB SFAS Supreme In-hand Champion 2024
British Elite Horse Show Supreme In-Hand Champion 2024
Equifest Overall Reserve Supreme In-hand Champion 2024
North West Champs Champion In-Hand PBW 2024

2025
Nottinghamshire County Show - 1st In-Hand PBW 4yrs & over
Hambleton Show - 1st In-Hand Hack 4yrs & over
2nd In-Hand PBW 4yrs & over
Royal Cheshire County- 1st In-Hand PBW 4yrs & over

We feel she would be a top class broodmare and would definitely be a HOYS Price Final contender, or equally if someone just wanted to enjoy hacking and In-Hand showing.

This is a heartbreaking decision to be considering selling her and not one that we are taking lightly, or even anticipated we would be doing as we just don't sell them, so if the right home doesn't present itself, then she will stay with us.

She will not be sold to any sort of ridden showing home, and all potential homes will be vetted thoroughly.

I have lots of photos and videos of her that can be sent.

Serious enquiries only please as this is a heartbreaking decision.

The price is negotiable to the right home, as home is paramount and we would like somewhere that she is not going to get passed around.

Calls preferred. Please leave a message if there is no answer and I will call you back.

'Flying Solo' 15h (lhc) 15 year old gelding

Solo is a very quality horse, with a super nature very kind and willing. Solo is multitalented competing in British Dressage, British Riding Clubs (East Dorset Riding Club), combined training and jumping (workers and SJ). Would go XC but this is not for me! Some 2024 results;
CHAPS UK restricted final winner, champion points accumulator, winner and res champion starter stakes, res supreme bucks spectacular, champion sport horse in hand and ridden at the New forest show. Qualified 2023,2024 for the BD red gorilla combine training championships, attended the BRC intermediate / dressage to music finals and finished overall 2nd in the team quest winter league. Currently standing 2nd on the My quest leaderboard.

Solo gives a lovely ride, with three beautiful rhythmical balanced paces, with good lateral work, superb jumper has taught me so much very scopey capable of bigger tracks but I'm only comfortable at 80cm. Solo is not suitable for a complete novice or first time buyers but would suit a competent amateur/ teenager or a fun allrounder on. Solo hacks alone or in company goes first or last however wouldn't be suitable for road hacking as he isn't keen on bigger vehicles but is fine with cars, vans, dogs etc. Snaffle mouthed, never strong or silly.

Shod all round up to date with chiropractor, dentist vaccinations, farrier, does need to stay on a gut balancer.

Lives in at night and out during the day, lovely on the ground and a real pleasure to have around. Currently out competing so is fit and ready to go and give a new family lots of wonderful memories.

16.2 8yo wb Gelding by Wish upon star

George is a very quality horse, with a super nature very kind and willing. He has done unaffiliated dressage competitions, pole clinics hacking, course hires, show jumping schooling.

George is a big moving powerful horse who gives a lovely ride, three beautfull balanced paces. He is not suitable for a complete novice but would suit a competent amateur competitor or a fun allrounder home aswell as the ability to go on to make a top class competition horse . Hes a good enough stamp and ride to make a HOYS Large riding horse or go up the levels in dressage or excel in any sphere .

Must be seen to be appreciated

No known health issues or vices, shoes all round up to date with physio, dentist vaccinations, farrier.

Lives in or out, turns out with others or alone . Lovely on the ground to deal with.

This lovely mare has a very bright future ahead in any sphere

She would make a lovely dressage horse with fluid paces, or is certainly good enough to become a top show horse

She was backed last year then had the winter off before she came to me

Has been away for some schooling to see different sights, and also attended a clinic with me

She is a very sweet loving mare with a kind temperament

She thrives off consistent work which I am struggling with due to lack of time, therefore is still green in the school

Although she will happily be ridden sweetly after a week off

Would suit a knowledgeable amateur or professional home
She would be ideal for the SFAS and Rising Stars series

Sad sale of Tommy. He is very sweet little horse. He raced few times as a youngster then was brought back into work last year and then had some time over winter off and now back in full work schooling lovely and great to hack.

He’s been to dressage competition and got some really good scores and placed. Just started jumping so still quite green.

Being sold as owner just doesn’t have time to commit to him and bring out his full potential. He is totally unspoiled and not many miles on the clock so ready for someone to put there stamp on him.

He is sensitive soul very affectionate so needs some kind loving home only. Please ring for more info

Millie - A lovely-natured pony with a wonderful temperament, she requires little to no working in.

If she stood at 15.2hh, she wouldn’t be going anywhere!

I see her excelling as a home-produced show hunter pony (SHP), and she would be an ideal partner for a nervous or young rider moving up through the ranks.

This is a very reluctant sale, as I bred her myself (by Hollyland Donovan, out of Daffodil).

Unfortunately Millie doesn’t enjoy hacking.

Would be happy to lease Millie to the right home

Three beautiful paces with a trot to die for. Has competed unaffiliated dressage with scores up to and above 70% and always catches the judges eye!

An absolute contender for grassroots! Double clear and 6th in his first ODE last year and clear in his first hunter trial. Recently went cross country schooling and happily jumped the whole 80 course and some of the 90. Again, current jockey holding him back - had planned to do another event recently but with the hard ground did not go ahead.

If showing is your thing then his beauty and movement are just what you need. Half brother has been to HOYs (showing is not my thing so haven’t really explored this further but would be very successful). He did go to equifest as his third show and was perfect in the stables, it was quite possibly the wettest show I’ve ever been to and came 6th in a very big class despite slipping and sliding around the ring. He also competed at a county show last year coming 4th with very positive comments from the judge and that with more weight he would have been further up the line.

Massive, scopey jump! This horse could be jumping some seriously big tracks and is super careful, hates knocking a fence. Been successfully competing at 80/85cm - it is the jockey holding him back, not the other way. He is light on his feet, very athletic and finds jumping so easy.

Hacks alone or in company and isn’t nappy at all if another horse wants to leave him etc. I can load him up on my own and meet friends to go hacking, load up and come home without fuss.

Good to load, travel, catch. I have clipped him and he was nervous but with patience he let me do it, without any sedation. I think the more it happens he will realise it’s fine. Shod in front only - lives in or out.

Needs a home to give him a job, he is not a novice ride as big moving and forward. Ideally he needs to be with someone who wants a serious competition horse and who will continue to produce him in whichever discipline they choose - he really could do any!

Thousands of pictures and videos available. Open to vets, sad sale
