Mavis is an incredibly talented pony having had a very successful Young Pony career she is now established at Medium level and ready to find her next rider to continue her competitive career.

Mavis is an absolute star with 3 correct, active paces, a serious ability to collect and extend and an ease to all her lateral work. She has been very correctly produced and is established in all her medium work. She is clever and trainable and shows all the qualities needed to make a top-class FEI pony or equally would make a fantastic competitive BD pony for a small adult rider.

She dominated the National Young Pony competitions at Premier Leagues as a 6 year old winning at both Keysoe Premier League and Hickstead Premier League and going on to place 3rd in the overall Young Pony Championships too. Since then she has competed at Elementary and Medium level including Regional Championships with scores up to 72% at Elementary and 68% at Medium.

Mavis hacks alone and in company, is super to handle and loves her pole work.

This outstanding pony, was formerly ridden by a Danish team pony rider. She has had numerous successes in Denmark with enormous scores in excess of 74%.

She has been used as a schoolmaster for the past year and has taken her current owner from “learning to ride” to “winning at competitions”

This dream of a pony is kind, safe and easy - she is the ultimate schoolmistress - with class!

She is never sharp, or spooky, and knows the medium level inside  out. This pony would be ideal for a child with team aspirations or small adult.

  • A highly personalised service designed to find your next dressage partner...
  • Extensive information packs, press links and testimonials available

Niki and Hermione Tottman of Olivers Equestrian identified an opportunity to launch a completely personalised approach to sourcing elite level horses and ponies across the UK and Europe after personally experiencing the complex process of attaining top quality competition horses from the continent.

The highly personalised service has been developed to offer aspiring riders a package few others in the UK can – a team of two who can cover every aspect of purchasing a high-level competition horse and possess knowledge, experience and credentials to the highest level of equestrian sport: FEI.

Via the newly launched concept, riders embarking on the journey of finding their new dancing partner will be assisted by Niki and Hermione every step of the way. Designed to provide a service to clients across a range of budgets, the initiative has been curated to deliver detailed trips to Europe for viewings with trusted, specialist contacts, alongside thorough negotiation experience to achieve the best results.

What’s more, the service offers the additional support of having an international youth rider, Hermione, trial and give feedback on all horses shortlisted, along with the advice of an international dressage coach, Niki, to support the rider through each trial.

The initiative is successfully growing with confirmed sales to The Netherlands, Great Britain, Russia, Denmark, etc.

We are currently open to new clients.

Hermione Tottman, International Dressage Rider, from Olivers Equestrian said:

“We wanted to launch this service following our first-hand experiences of the international dressage circuit. Having been through the complex journey of finding my next dressage partner to help me achieve my competition goals, I now feel passionate about supporting ambitious riders in finding their next top ride.

“I believe our service offers unique insight into the private domain of top level horse sales. The majority of high quality horses and ponies are now being sold privately, and not advertised on the open market. Our clients have the benefit of being able to view these horses through our contacts”.

Niki Tottman, International Level Coach and BD Youth Assessor and Judge, from Olivers Equestrian said:

“We know that the process of finding and trialing a new, high-quality horse can be a daunting experience! That’s why we wanted to develop a service which is not only hassle-free but also offers expert guidance at every milestone. We can lead you through the sessions, and help you  to develop a feeling of the potential partnership you may have. After discussing the riders aspirations with them, I am able to use my intrinsic eye to help choose the best match for their long-term goals and to spot any potential red flags.

“The support doesn’t end once the horse is safely at its new home. We go the extra mile by designing an individualised training package for each of our clients. This ensures the new combination starts off on the right foot – we want everyone who completes this journey with us to maintain confidence once they are home and ultimately develop their partnership successfully”.

148 cm (FEI life height sticker) 14yo chestnut German sports pony stallion. This exceptional pony has some outstanding career results and is a true professional whilst being incredibly easy. He was formerly eventing but has changed his focus to pure dressage and in a short space of time (with a child who had never ridden BD before) has produced some great results.

Consistently winning at medium level.

  • 2x 1st in pony Premier league tests with over 71%.
  • 1st regional medium Petplan summer final.
  • 2nd national medium Petplan summer final.

He has gained these results while only lightly being campaigned at BD as his riders first commitment is to eventing.

His record speaks for itself achieving the highest pony eventing accolades, two gold medals, one silver and being national champion. He won the Bundeschampion eventing championship in Germany for 5/6 year olds in 2015, in the same year he also finished 12th in the Dressage finals.

He is an exceptional temperament, he lives very happily amongst horses on a busy yard. He is a pleasure to deal with at home, on the lorry, out hacking, at shows and equally happy at stay away shows.

He is very sensible and focused when ridden, and on the ground. He is very happy being handled by a teenager. He is the sweetest natured pony who is eager to please. He has extraordinary presence, is beautiful looking and is sound.

He has been used for breeding and has off spring in Germany and uk.

We would love to see this incredible pony continue his dressage career. He loves to compete and deserves his change to excel at the highest level.

Asterhofs It’s Gino is a correctly produced, easy to ride, 6 year old pony who is ready to go to a child who wants to compete internationally.

Gino was Reserve Champion at the KBIS young pony championships for 6 year olds in Hartpury. He goes into big environments and never needs an area a walk, he just gets on with his job.

Gino has an impressive record with scores of up to 76%+ at Elementary level and stepped up to Medium gaining 72%+ and qualifying for the regional championships in 4 classes; Elementary, Ele Music, Medium and Med Music. He knows all of the FEI movements.

After being imported from Holland, Gino has been competed and produced professionally which has turned him into a push button pony. He is easy to handle and a lovely person to have on the yard.

Gino enjoys his school work and isn’t spooky or silly in new environments. He loves hacking and is good to do in every way. He has been ridden and led around by my grooms 9 year old daughter (videos available).

Gino’s age means that his next rider will be able to have an amazing Pony career and Gino will still be young enough for future riders to enjoy. He is only going to increase in value with time.

Gino has a full set of x-rays and is open to any vetting.

Based just outside of Shrewsbury, Shropshire with excellent trial facilities and easy access.

Sadly the time has come for Amigo to find his new home due to my daughter coming off ponies this year.

Amigo is an exceptional FEI Schoolmaster with an impressive track record highlighted at nationals, internationals, CDI's and highest placed British at Le Mans CDI 2018.

He has 3 correct paces and a great expression in his trot and established all movements at medium level. He trains and competes comfortably at medium and PFEI level.

Results:

  • 1st Keysoe Premier League Medium - 2015

He will travel on the lorry with mares and stable next to geldings. He is turned out daily and will happily stay out all day. No different at competitions or stay aways.

This is a very sad sale so only the best home will be considered for this incredible pony.

This is a very sad sale of a super pony, who's taken my daughter from novice to PFEI level in just over a year with scores over 71%. Ruby has been with us for the past 6 years and been an absolute pleasure to have on the yard but unfortunately as my daughter is coming off ponies, the time has come for her to find her new home.

3 super paces, movement and expression and always willing to work. Ruby is constantly improving despite her age and still has a lot more to come.

She is very established in all movements up to FEI and medium.

Although Ruby would thrive in a dressage home she has also proved to be a successful event pony competing at BE80 with my daughter although has the scope to go higher with the right rider. She came 2nd in her first BE100 and won area 6 eventing 80cm on a 21 dressage and double clear in 2020.

She will hack out alone or in company and good around traffic.

She has never bucked, reared or napped but is sensitive to aids so a confident rider is essential. She is super easy to handle, shoe, clip etc. Loads and travels well in the lorry or trailer. Ruby has also hunted for the past 5 seasons and is super easy going.

This is a very sad sale for our once in a lifetime pony so only the best home will be considered.

Serious enquires and calls only no later than 6:30pm.

Super international fei pony, I have owned him for two years but unfortunately I'm just not into dressage so I feel he is wasted with me.

An amazing pony sure too teach many kids the ropes of dressage or even a small adult, super talented on the flat, has all of his lateral work and a single change, he is also great fun and loves his beach rides and jumping lessons, he has a fantastic jump! Safe to hack alone or in company also good in traffic.

Good to catch, shoe, clip, load, travel, handle he is a real sweetheart. Very easy to keep and doesn't have a sick or sorry day. He currently lives out 24/7 but is good to stable he's just so easy and wants to please.

He doesn't have a BD record however we are looking to take him out competing in the coming month.

Only one small vice he does wind suck for a short time after his bucket or after being given a treat when he's in the stable he doesn't do it if he's out so we think it's a learnt habit.

Whoever ends up with this super pony will be very lucky! He's fit and ready to go and comes with full wardrobe. Home is more important than price, he’s he such a sweetheart and we want the best for him.

She is absolutely fabulous and has been a total pleasure in all ways. Light in the contact but forward and always tries her hardest to please.

She has no health issues or vices. She would suit an ambitious child aiming for International CoH or Pony FEI or a small adult wanting a stunning, talented and kind small horse to train up the Levels.
