Buddy is a sweet young gelding with a lovely nature and plenty of potential. He is still finding his feet in his foster home, but is growing in confidence all the time and beginning to show his affectionate personality, particularly when enjoying a good scratch!

As Buddy is still settling into his new surroundings, he can occasionally be a little unsure during handling. He is learning the basics of leading, catching and having his feet handled, and is making encouraging progress with gentle, consistent training. He can be a little hesitant at first, but with patience and reassurance, we hope his confidence will continue to blossom.

Buddy currently lives happily alongside another young gelding and, having been recently castrated, will require suitable gelding companionship. He also has a condition known as locking stifles, which has been assessed by a vet and is expected to improve as he grows and develops. Living out with plenty of opportunity for movement is particularly beneficial for him.

Buddy is looking for a knowledgeable, patient home where he can continue his education at his own pace. With the right guidance, understanding and plenty of kindness, this lovely youngster has the potential to become a rewarding and much-loved non-ridden companion.
