  • Indie is an absolute pleasure to ride
  • Previously hunted

For sale from a private loving home. Indie is a 15.2 9 year old with the most wonderful temperament, Indie is an absolute gentlemen and a favourite on his yard.

Indie is an absolute pleasure to ride, he is so easygoing and very willing. He has been previously hunted and was the most incredible horse to hunt. Indie does love having a job, but is equally happy to sit in a field. He will happily stay out in a field or in a stable by himself when you are out riding and will stand happily for the farrier and the vet and is good to handle and transport. Indie is currently in a mixed herd, both big and small, old and young.

I am selling as a companion only due to his sarcoids, which I can no longer afford to treat. The sarcoids do not affect his day to day life, and he has none on his head. He is still rideable, but for this to happen these will need to be treated.

Please get in touch if you have any more questions.

? Dave – 16.1hh British Sport Horse Gelding, 5yrs ?
Dave is a quality young horse with an exciting future ahead, now ready for a competent rider to continue his education. Homebred and broken last year, he has been slowly and professionally produced, giving him a solid foundation, but he remains a young horse who will benefit from a confident, knowledgeable rider.
He has three balanced, uphill paces and a naturally bold, scopey jump. Dave has been XC schooling, where he has shown bravery and enthusiasm, confidently tackling ditches, steps, water and skinnies. He is still learning and strengthening, but shows all the raw talent and attitude needed to make a very smart event horse.
On the ground, Dave is good to do in all ways — good to catch, clip, shoe, load, and travel. He has a kind temperament and is very playful and inquisitive around the yard, very much showing his age, but is never nasty or difficult to handle.
Dave would suit a producer, confident amateur, or experienced rider looking for a genuine young horse to bring on correctly. With time, consistency, and the right rider, he has the potential to be a very rewarding partner.
Price includes tack.

  • Happy living out 24/7
  • Would thrive with a patient handler

- Based at our Burford centre -

Ginge is a handsome Arab X. This lovely boy has come a long way since his arrival and initial rescue background. Because of his stressful past, Gingerbread is seeking a quiet, consistent, and patient home where he can continue to settle and truly thrive as a cherished companion.

What Ginge needs most is a dedicated handler in a settled environment. While he is generally sweet, his background means he can still be unsure or overwhelmed in new or stressful circumstances. Day-to-day, he is making great strides in his handling; he has improved with leading and is learning to trust during grooming and feet picking, tasks which currently require extra time and patience. He is currently kept with one other docile gelding, soon to be introduced to a small gelding herd.

The ideal home for Ginge is a quiet, one-on-one setup with consistent gelding friends. If you are looking for a gentle, mature companion horse and have the patience and dedication to help him continue to gain confidence, Ginge promises to be a rewarding and loyal addition to your herd.

- Based at our Burford centre -

Roe is a handsome, gentle hunter-type gelding who is searching for his loving forever companion home. He is wonderfully mannered and good to handle in every way—easy to catch, lead, groom and pick out feet, and he is also a star for both the vet and farrier.

He is currently living out 24/7 but is equally happy with a routine that includes some stabling. Roe is overweight at the moment and is following a diet plan to help him safely slim down, so he will need a home committed to restricted grazing and ongoing weight management. He would also really enjoy and benefit from in-hand walks to keep him active.

Roe currently lives contentedly with geldings and has been living next door to mares. With sensible introductions, he could also join a mixed herd if needed.

If you’re looking for a kind, steady and affectionate companion who will thrive with attention and a structured routine, Roe could be the perfect addition to your herd.
