Finn is a lovely, experienced horse with a huge amount to offer, combining his dressage education with the bravery and versatility to shine as a true allrounder. A genuine dressage schoolmaster, he is well established on the flat and has previously competed at Medium level as a young horse, with BD points to his name.

He has three expressive, balanced paces and a kind, forgiving nature, making him a fantastic choice for someone wanting to learn, improve, and gain confidence with a knowledgeable partner.

Away from the arena, Finn is incredibly brave and willing. He has a great jump, happily popping fillers, and is bold cross country, confidently tackling steps, banks, and ditches. He really is the type who will turn his hoof to anything and enjoy it.

Finn has a full history known and has been in the same home for the past five years, where he has been much loved. He is now looking for a new home where he can be enjoyed more consistently, as his talent and experience deserve to be used.

He is a fabulous hack, safe and relaxed both alone and in company, and is a pleasure to have on the yard.

Finn is a rare find — a genuine schoolmaster on the flat with the bravery and attitude to excel in any sphere, whether dressage, riding club, or simply as a fun, confidence-giving partner.

Whilst Finn is an easy ride. He is still a competition horse and as such is not suitable for a novice rider.

  • Delightful Calm Temperament
  • Fantastic Companion
  • A pleasure to have on the yard
I am seeking a loving, knowledgeable home for my attractive and sweet natured boy. Little Raz was bought as a 3 year old and backed and ridden on but developed bony changes in his thoracic spine (not kissing spine). He has been used as a companion since he was a 4 year old. I am happy to discuss his history and treatment.

Little Raz has been out with mares and geldings but only geldings in recent years. He is sociable but easy going. He is calm when left on his own in the stable and turns out happily by himself if needed. He is super to handle on the ground. He long reins, lunges and has been led - ride & lead. He enjoys basic natural horsemanship exercises.

Excellent with the farrier, vet and dentist. He loads readily. Good with dogs and children.

HWSD: N/N

I have had to give up riding due to health issues and Little Raz is now companion without a friend. Whilst he is coping well on his own it doesn't feel right.

He desrves a richer life with a new family and equine buddies.

  • Permanent home sought, much loved mare
  • Perfect easy project ready for summer hacking!
Stunning mare by Avanti Amorous Archie for sad sale.

Has some medical (arthritis) but a hacking home would be ideal for her. No lami, sweetitch etc.

Being sold form the field as needs bringing back into work. Doesnt need starting from the bottom though, just fitness building - she will be fine to hop straight on and plod out. She hasnt hacked alone but I think that is more me than her. (she has with someone else more confident). She is ridden bitless and is barefoot. Might need boots if ridden a lot of hard ground.

Lovely temperament, easy to do in most ways, not mareish in the slightest, can turn out with anything. Very affectionate with horses and humans.

I also have a tiny full gypsy cob (sep ad) that is her bestie, should you have room for 2 :)

NO DEALERS. I will NOT sell unseen and homes will be vetted, she is much loved.

I am giving up so would consider selling both horses and everything for yard and them as a job lot (inc acres of electric fencing kit, tack, yard equipment, new clippers, numerous rugs, showing gear, tons of stuff).

Lovely TB Gelding

POA
  • Thoroughbred

  • Gelding
  • 10 years
  • 16.1 hands
  • Kind, genuine 10yo TB gelding with a Labrador temperament, perfect for hacking and pleasure rides.

Lovely 10yo TB Gelding – “Dez”. A genuine, easy-going lad looking for his new home.

Dez is a 10-year-old Thoroughbred who I’ve owned since he was a 2-year-old, so his full history is known. He has a wonderful, kind temperament and is incredibly easy to have around. He lives out all year round and is happy in a mixed herd with both mares and geldings. Great with the vet and farrier, with the dentist he just needs a bit of patience but is manageable. He has been barefooted for the past 6 years with no issue, use boots if covering roadwork.

He was backed and brought on quietly on the fells in the Lake District and has been used mainly for pleasure riding. The intention was always to do more with him, but with two young children I simply haven’t had the time. Dez hacks alone and in company, and he’s used to being led and led off. He can occasionally need a bit of reassurance, but he is never nasty or difficult.

Dez has been around children his whole life and has happily had mine on board. On the ground he’s like having a Labrador, he’ll follow you around and loves fuss and attention.

He would suit someone wanting a sweet, willing horse to enjoy hacking, pleasure rides, or bring on further if desired. A loving, knowledgeable home is important.

Dez is up to date with all
Homes will be vetted.
Home is more important than price.

Companion Gelding For Loan

Ref #: 400580
  • Friendly, kind and easy to do
  • Used to being out with mares and geldings
  • Thoroughbred
  • Chestnut
  • Gelding
  • 11 years
  • 15 hands
  • Friendly, kind and easy to do
  • Used to being out with mares and geldings

My 15hh 11 year old gelding looking for his next important role as a companion.

He’s recently been doing this for a friend and did a great job and enjoyed it so I’d like to find him a similar role again.

Ideally this would be on a private yard for a small group - or paired up if the other horse is also retired and doesn’t go out and leave him alone.

He lives out on grass 24/7 365 days a year and as long as he’s got some extra forage available and a vitamin/mineral supplement he doesn’t have any feeding needs.

He does need to stay moving, so if needed to be off the field he needs to be brought onto some sort of extended turnout space as his only issue is locking stifles if stabled for prolonged periods (the odd emergency overnight has been fine!)

Used to being with mares and geldings, he is a fair leader who is polite but firm with other horses - he won’t be bullied but is an absolute gentleman. He’s been out with everything from bolshy youngstock to veterans.

I have owned him since he was 3 and can provide full history and comprehensive details.
Absolutely no riding, not even a sit on for a pony ride!

I will cover annual vaccinations, and keep him provided with rugs. All I ask that he is kept trimmed on a 8-10 weekly basis and follows a worm counting programme.

Loan contract and references required.

Please don’t be put off by the Thoroughbred label, he is a really hardy good do-er who has had nothing more than a 200g rug and a bale of hay in front of him through whatever winter throws at him!
