Six years old and approximately 14.1/14.2hh, he has been slowly produced, allowing him time to mature. He has correct, quality movement, plenty of bone and masses of feather, making him a particularly eye-catching pony.

He is now ready to step up into the novice classes and has all the attributes to be a serious showing prospect. Largely unshown to date, he has attended several showing clinics and completed dressage tests, giving him valuable experience without being overproduced.

I brought Boris 2 years ago as a project, however he very quickly stole my heart and I’ve been putting this decision off for a very long time, but the time has come for him to find a new family who will adore him just as much as I do. 

Boris has 3 balanced paces, he’s light in the hand, eager to please and a very straightforward enjoyable ride, he is snaffled mouthed at all times and is never strong or silly. 

He adjusts well to his rider and can plod around in the slow lane or equally can rank it up for a more forward ride. He is beginning his lateral movements and changes and is proven to be a very quick learner. Boris has an exceptional groundwork education, understands voice commands and will “emergency stop” if asked to. Boris is the sort you can leave for weeks, hop straight on & enjoy- even sensible enough to have happily given small children rides.

Boris hacks alone and in company, he doesn’t fizz up in open spaces and isn’t bothered to be left behind or separated from another horse. He has plenty of experience around heavy machinery and traffic. 

Boris loads and travels like a dream, he has seen a lot of the world and isn’t phased by busy warmups or new venues. He will happily stand all day by the lorry and is always such a pleasure to take out. 

This year Boris has participated in pretty much every discipline, he is loved by judges and always gets lots of attention when out and about. He absolutely loves his jumping and happily pops round 90cm courses, he will always take a miss and jump from any stride. We have used him in our small riding school for the last 12 months whilst we’ve been short on ponies so he is used to a variety of riders however he will need a more capable jockey to continue his education as he is still a novice. He’s not silly or spooky just still a little green.

He is 100% safe in every way. Great in open spaces and ridden in a big field regularly. Good to hack alone or in company. He also has a fantastic jump on him however this is only something we’ve done a handful of times. He does have your typical Welsh personality so he is not suitable for someone nervous. We want to find a home that will use him to his full potential!

He is more of a kick along! He has hunted and jumped he enjoys his jumping. Been to 3 shows and placed first at all 3 he has qualified for the NPS home produced ridden final & the Ringside stud final , BSPS Novice 4,5,6 year old final also.

He has hacked out alone and in company on country lanes and off road hacking , really good in open spaces never strong or silly snaffle mouthed at all times.

Due to his age no novices please. He is good to load , bath , catch etc will live in or out turnout with others he is currently out with a mare. He has correct straight silky hair.

Takes the leg up well he is a chunky boy my mum is 5ft8. He is as wide as he is tall. Lives on a machinery yard has seen forklifts , diggers etc. He is upto date with vaccinations , teeth , physio , farrier etc. he would be an ideal mother / daughter share or make a lovely junior pony.
