The ad I’ve been dreading to write, tentatively advertising our beautiful boy for sale. 11 year old 12.2 Welsh section B little stunner.

Dandi has taught my daughter so much in the time we’ve had him and taken her from jumping x poles to competing on a ticket BS around a stepping stones. He is not registered BS but is club registered where we have had two great shows on him at spring/summer POP festival at Aintree.

He is not a fyfr and is definitely more of a 1.5/2nd pony as he can have a little look at things. He is forward going but has brakes and ridden in a Wilkie snaffle.

He is great in open spaces and I trust him implicitly with my 11 year old daughter. We have taken him to the beach where he was impeccably behaved.

He has done a lot of showing, pony club, XC and working hunter in his previous homes but we have mainly focused on showjumping to gain back my daughter’s confidence.

I brought Boris 2 years ago as a project, however he very quickly stole my heart and I’ve been putting this decision off for a very long time, but the time has come for him to find a new family who will adore him just as much as I do. 

Boris has 3 balanced paces, he’s light in the hand, eager to please and a very straightforward enjoyable ride, he is snaffled mouthed at all times and is never strong or silly. 

He adjusts well to his rider and can plod around in the slow lane or equally can rank it up for a more forward ride. He is beginning his lateral movements and changes and is proven to be a very quick learner. Boris has an exceptional groundwork education, understands voice commands and will “emergency stop” if asked to. Boris is the sort you can leave for weeks, hop straight on & enjoy- even sensible enough to have happily given small children rides.

Boris hacks alone and in company, he doesn’t fizz up in open spaces and isn’t bothered to be left behind or separated from another horse. He has plenty of experience around heavy machinery and traffic. 

Boris loads and travels like a dream, he has seen a lot of the world and isn’t phased by busy warmups or new venues. He will happily stand all day by the lorry and is always such a pleasure to take out. 

This year Boris has participated in pretty much every discipline, he is loved by judges and always gets lots of attention when out and about. He absolutely loves his jumping and happily pops round 90cm courses, he will always take a miss and jump from any stride. A genuine, willing horse who always wants to please, he produces a lovely dressage test and consistently scores well. A very sad sale as rider is now out of class,Marla is a 143 working hunter pony but would also make a nice event/showjumping pony.Marla has been broken ourselves as a 3yr old and has been produced slowly. She rarely touches a pole and is easy to shoe,clip,catch,load/travel and will hack out alone or in company.Marla is currently schooling up to 1m.

• A lovely bay with four whites, plenty of bone and feather, a bold eye and a strong, powerful front.
• She was backed to ride at the start of this year and has made a great start to her ridden life.
• At her first ever show in June, she went on to win and be Champion Novice.

She is happy living in or out, is easy to do in all ways and has been a pleasure to have.

She would make a lovely junior M&M, M&M worker or all-rounder and has plenty of potential to progress in the right hands.

She is fully vaccinated.

Our intentions were to keep her as a broodmare but due to circumstances and lack of time we decided this is the best path for her. She does have a small scar on her neck, which has never affected her in any way.
