Coppinshill Cartier - HOYS Quality Registered Dartmoor Gelding.

13 year old Registered Dartmoor Gelding, a true standout pony with the quality and presence to excel at the top level. Half Brother to the very successful and well know Rolo (Coppinshill Commemoration )

Cartier is a HOYS quality junior pony, with the movement, conformation and overall look to be highly competitive in the show ring. He also has serious potential to excel in working hunter pony (WHP) classes making him an exciting dual purpose prospect. We believe previous owners have competed & placed in Affiliated showing and has been ridden side saddle.

He is a a genuine, kind pony with plenty of character. Cartier can have the occasional cheeky moment, so would suit a capable and confident jockey, however he is never nasty or difficult, just not a true first ridden type, although has brought my granddaughter of the lead rein at home and even popped some small fences.

A pleasure to have on the yard, he is good to do and enjoys his work. Great to bath, farrier, vet, physio, loads first time, travels well alone or in company. Loves hacking, alone or in company, goes at the front or back, stands all day to be groomed and pampered, genuinely he will be your best friend.

He would be ideal as a lead rein pony or for a competitive child looking to progress with a quality pony capable of going to the top. We have only competed local level with him due to granddaughter starting riding career late, has been competed Lead rein ridden and in hand by 9 year old, always placed, pleasure to have on the showground.

Only for sale as been hopelessly outgrown and granddaughter now moved on to plaited pony. Extremely sad sale, not rushing to sell as want to find him the best home as he is a very much loved & special pony

Sonny is the nicest cuddliest pony to have around — and easy to do in every way. He is good to catch, groom, clip, load, and travel, and has impeccable manners both at home and away.

Sonny is the perfect pony club pony and has all the attributes to excel as a WHP, show jumper, event pony, or quality all-rounder. Carefully and correctly produced, Sonny has been brought on slowly with his future in mind and is now ready to continue his education with his forever home. He has attended many clinics, unaffiliated showjumping competitions, and fun rides, always behaving impeccably and consistently coming home placed.

Currently jumping comfortably around 60/70cm with plenty of scope for more; he is brave and careful, and completely unfazed by fillers.

Sonny is wonderful to hack, great in open fields, and equally happy to go out in company or alone. He has seen all kinds of traffic; from busy main road to farm machinery, and is never fazed. Sonny is snaffle-mouthed and has good brakes.

He is a genuine, willing young pony who is quick and eager to learn and loves his work. Sonny will make someone an incredibly special pony and has a very exciting future ahead of him.

We’ll be truly sad to see him go but he is now ready to go on and shine with his next best friend. Due to his age, absolutely no novices — he deserves a competent rider to continue bringing out his full potential, and he will only go to a knowledgeable home.

Sky is a 14.2, four year old Connemara. Bred to compete at the top level, he has a half brother show jumping in FEI 1.30 Grand Prix for the Swedish pony team.

Sky has been professionally broken in this spring after being left to mature until he turned four, and he has taken to his work extremely well. He has loose jumped and is now jumping under saddle, and shows all the technique and scope to be competitive in pony trials.

Sky hacks out around the fields, and is beginning to go out to arena hires and cross country schooling. He has been produced by a professional dressage rider and will be highly competitive on the flat in the future.

Sky has shown himself to have a very good temperament, he has been straightforward to produce and has taken to his work very well. He is, however, a very young, green competition pony and as a result is not suitable for nervous or inexperienced riders. He has been trained in a professional system, and would be most suited to a competitive rider with a knowledgeable support system.

11.2hh registered Welsh Sec A mare.

By HOYS winner, Lledrith Nemesis, also bred here out of a champion mare also bred here. Lovely natured, good to do in all ways. Lunges, long reins and has been professionally broken. Has been shown and won a sizeable young handler class at her first attempt. Up to date with teeth and farrier, no wolf teeth.

Green, but ready to go on and do a job for someone with patience to bring her on. Good enough to show, clean limbed and a free, straight mover. She is an athletic type of pony with a natural cadence who I'm sure would excel as a performance pony. I am motivated to sell, due to ill health, so open to offers from genuine homes who can offer a straightforward sale. I have no jockey here.

Beautiful correct Green passport 3 year old 14.2hh Connemara gelding. Class 1 bred. Beautiful head with perfect ears.

He is still in his winter woolys but his dapples are ozzing through underneath.

We have started breaking him in, he took to it like a duck to water!!! He is sweetly going forward on both reins, will walk, trot and canter!

There has been no opsy moments and he has been extremely straight forward to break in.

He is very green but phenomenal in the time he has been in ridden work. To be honest he’s that good whilst we were backing him I had a Shetland colt running in and out and a pug! He did not bat an eye.

This pony is going to be such a cracking stamp and ridden pony with more education. He has no ‘quirks’ never bucked or reared during backing very willing and straight forward. Equally would like someone with experience and who can ride to continue this. He has cracking bone and is all correct.

N/n for hoof. 5* knowledgeable homes only please.

Squid is a 12h 10yr old welsh section a. He is a sweet pony who is easy to handle. He has three fantastic paces and is well schooled holding a consistent outline.

As well as his fabulous schooling, squid is a talented jumper and has been popping round 80cm fences at mine. He has competed up to 70cm in the riring with multiple placings.

Also, squid has been driven in his previous home however not by current owner.

Squid holds many qualifications and wins to his name. Proving him to be a successful pony in the competition ring and an experienced pony.

Here's some of his achievements to list:

Showjumping: lots of placings up to 70cm (with scope for more)

Workers: only did 3/4 classes but always placed 1-3rd including 2nd at Suffolk show

Dressage:
• Countless wins unaffiliated dressage (almost all intro tests as that’s all I could do) at many different venues, often scoring +70% with listed judges
• Riding club national championships qualifiers (area 14): 1st individual prelim, 1st pairs
• RDA regionals: 1st open grade 6 walk only (highest score of day about 74%)
• RDA national championships: 1st grade 6 walk only, class champion grade 6 (highest score), 1st freestyle. Scores over 70%.

Squid isn't a first pony however I believe he would be a lead rein if also ridden alongside a more competent rider and he loves his work. Squid is a forward pony but not nasty in any way.

Good to shoe, clip ect. (Currently barefoot has been shod in the past)

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
  • No fees for sellers
I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @theponysearchagent

Fantastic 6 year old, JMB of 137cm, registered Welsh section C gelding. Overstamped with CHAPS so also eligible for the coloured classes.

Carrot is very straight moving and has 3 uphill paces, never strong or silly and no lumps bumps or blemishes. Brilliant to catch, load bath etc and loves to be around people. Although he has already competed at HOYS in the open classes, he would make the most fantastic junior pony- he is well schooled and very well mannered, a real genuine pony. He is up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. He is really sweet on a showground and takes it all in his stride, he only takes 5 minutes of working in and no bother at all. Travels on his own with no issues.

Carrot competed in only 8 shows in his first season last year, where he qualified for RIHS and HOYS in the open C's as well as qualifying for HOYS in the coloured class on his first attempt and competed in both his classes at the HOYS final.

This year he has been lightly shown so far and has collected his LIHS semi final ticket, BSPS champion of champions and TSR amateur of the year tickets.

We have not hacked Carrot, however he does not bat an eyelid at wagons and traffic on a showground. We have attended XC practice, where he shows great potential over a fence and would make a lovely WHP pony also. He passed a 5 stage vetting only 2 months ago and he is fit and ready to compete. Genuine reason for sale, through no fault of his own. Bridle and rugs included

East Yorkshire based, plenty more pics on request, viewing very welcome, please call to arrange viewing, home is more important than price for this kind and versatile lad.

We are looking for a competitive experienced home for our pony, she has been in our family for 5 years and has done all disciplines with both my daughters who have sadly outgrown her now.

She will excel in a home where she has a busy and a varied life with turnout.

She is an out and out competition pony not a novice ride, although she is great on the lead rein for someone to do first ridden classes. Off the lead she likes to get on with her job, she is ridden daily my my kids and also friends children. She hacks out but prefers company.

She is safe to gallop in open fields and has done sj/xc/dressage/M&M ridden and in hand showing.

She jumps up to 75 happily, goes in a nice outline on the flat and is very eye-catching. She has lovely big straight paces an is clean limbed.

Very quality Section A pony. 12.1 but would measure as a big 12 hands if required. Really flashy pony that will go along way in the right hands. He has unbelievable movement ( moves more like a warm blood than a section A ) and lots of jump.

He is by BROLAWEN JONI DDU ( BRIOLEN DARIUS ) x WENLLWYFO POPPY ( WENLLWYFO GALAXI ) .

We brought him a few months back , have since backed him and ridden him away. He is working nicely on the flat , jumping a track of fences.Brave with fillers and XC fences. Hacks out alone and in company, good in traffic. Has the potential to make a very good competition pony. Would imagine with his step could make a top show pony/WHP or has enough jump to jump BS produced further.

Has been out to unaffiliated showjumping and will do a little one day event this weekend . Primarily has been ridden by nanny (5ft 7 stone ) but also done a little bit with a very petite 10 yo boy and had a 7 yo on the lead rein on a few occasions. Did a ODE 10th with 10yo . Got 65% in dressage and jumped lovely in both phases to get a place.

He isn’t for a nervous or novice person/family as can be a typical cheeky Welsh, can pretend he’s scared of you when he really isn’t! Obviously a young pony with a bit about him ( in a nice way no harm whatsoever! ) otherwise we wouldn’t have our friends child on him …but not ready for a novice tot to loose their balance on or a nervous child but would be fine for confident older child to produce along side parent! My 5 yo grooms and leads him .. and I ( mum 9 1/2 stone ) have had a few occasional sits on him and don’t look out of place .. so small parent could help with production.

Someone could has a very good pony in 12 Months time.

£3500 but open to Sensible discussions to see him in the right home.

Adorable Connemara with a fantastic temperament.
Standing a very full up 14.2h.
A big solid well put together type!
Fully registered Connemara mare.
8 years old (foaled May-18).
All class 1 breeding, by Killea Island.

She’s very well built so would easily take an adult or child. She is a steadier confidence giving ride, so if you want sharp and buzzy she wouldn’t be for you.

Fantastic confirmation, with clean limbs and perfect feet.
A really quality ‘stand out’ Connemara!
No blemishes or sarcoids.
Negative N/N for hoof wall.

She is lovely and genuine both to handle and to ride.
You wouldn’t know she is a mare, she is perfect to deal with in the stable and her ears are always forward, she would never pull a face. She turns out with both mares and geldings. She is bossed around by my other mare and my gelding and she is very patient with them.

She is an allrounder type. Perfect for having fun on, pleasure rides, hunting, riding club and pony club.

Whilst she is a steady confidence giving ride, she can be fired up to jump some bigger fences as required. I’ve had her jumping into water, over ditches and spooky fillers. She is scopey and careful with a neat tidy jump.

Perfect for riding in groups, happily follows on in a snaffle, jumping everything asked of her, whilst you enjoy a chat with friends. She is brilliant to hack and is fantastic in heavy traffic. We have tractors, arctics and motorbikes going past daily and nothing phases her.

She rides nicely on the flat and is currently capable of a very pleasing prelim test, with more to come. I’m now teaching her some lateral movements. She would make a lovely workers pony, she oozes class and presence and has a very neat and careful jump.

No vices or quirks and is easy to do in all ways, my young children love grooming her and leading her about the yard.

Up to date with everything, healthy, sound and open to vet.

Rides on or off the lead rein and happy to dink around the school with a small child in all 3 paces. Hacks all day alone or in company - not bothered with dogs under her legs. Will cross water, ditches, styles and open farmland happily.

Very much an unflappable type and is an absolute star of the future in any sphere.

We have completed long distance rides, showing, arena eventing, mini SJ, hound exercise, lots of hacking and various arena hires - all of it taken in her stride. She adores jumping.

Has just had teeth, back, feet, wormer and clip.

An absolute favourite with my daughter.

Many people can vouch for this pony, she is golden. No time wasters
