Hammy is an incredibly versatile pony who I have enjoyed riding alongside studying the past 6 years. He has always been my side project pony who has been steadily produced and enjoyed over the years of owning him. The last couple years especially, I have had the pleasure of taking this pony everywhere by myself with no stress as he is super easy to do in all ways. From working hunters, to showjumping and fun rides I really have had the best time having him as a pleasure ride. This pony can do it all, from living out 24/7 in the winter to being brought back into work for the summer shows when I am home from education. Superb jump and would have the scope to jump plaited workers with suitable age jockey. Locally and low level county show he is turned out as an m&m but due to my age I cannot take him into affiliated plaited classes which is another aspect he could really excel.

Very sad sale of a pony (due to work commitments) who’s brought me pure joy over the past few years. Especially being away at university and could always come home and jump on Hammy and him still be the same as if he was ridden everyday. Bjorn looking for a competent teenager or small adult to have a lot of fun with, and to be his new best friend. Having show jumped the majority of his life, over the last five years he has been enjoying a more varied life and this is something he would like to carry on doing without too much of a focus on competing.

Bjorn is an enthusiastic, forward, and fun ride. As he is getting older (but definitely not looking to slow down any time soon!) he is now most comfortable up to 90/100cm. He is looking for a home that is not going to push him competitively, but allow him to keep doing what he loves. He excels at arena eventing - he qualified for the BE arena eventing championships at BE100 this year. He would thrive being on NSEA arena eventing teams. He has been to (and behaved very well at) Pony Club Camp (res/non-res) multiple times and this is something he would love to do more of in his new home. As he is an older schoolmaster he does know all of the tricks in the book, but is not nasty.

Bjorn is well schooled on the flat. He hacks alone and in company, and he is good with the farrier/dentist/vet etc. He is a full up 148cm (LHC) but rides more like a small horse. He has a lot left to give, and is fit and ready to go. As he is an old man he knows his own mind so is grumpy in the stable, but loves cuddles and will stand all day long to be pampered.

He is not suitable for novice or nervous riders as he is a forward going competition pony.

£5500 ONO including his bridle and turnout rugs, his saddle is available by separate negotiation. Home is more important than price. A lease may be considered to the right home, however a sale would be preferred so we know someone is fully committed to him.

Link was broken in for 2 weeks when we bought him and has since been produced solely by a 10 year old until a couple of weeks ago.

We bought him for SJ but sadly daughter wants to do more eventing / tetrathlons so she has a bigger xc pony now. Incredible jump, movement and personality.

Hacks alone or in company. Great to catch/box/shoe.

Been to rallies, lessons, XC and arena hires. Will be a fantastic SJ, WHP, all rounder - he is the sweetest boy.

Now with a professional on sales livery due to child having 4 ponies and not enough time!
