12 years. Late starter. This mare was bought during lockdown as a project and has shown talent and versatility in a range of disciplines.

She has competed with success in BS (qualified Newcomers/Discovery/Blue Chip 2024), WHP (narrowly missed out on qualifying for HOYS 143 whp in limited outings), Could be a serious DESSIE/ Burghley Gold Cup pony!

Arena Eventing – she loves it, can also do a smart dressage test.

She is a well put together competition mare who has proven to be uncomplicated to a fence, she has jumped every different type of filler, solid obstacles, hedges and bullfinches. She is very brave and game.

We feel in the right hands she would have potential for SJ top tracks. During the summer she has been with a professional rider who has extended her education. She has indicated in the right hands she could be a real asset to a showjumping rider with top track aspirations.

Still eligible for Newcomers, this could be a seriously useful pony to follow the pathway up the grades. Videos of her training around 1.20 – 1.30. With an accurate rider she is easy and uncomplicated.

She hacks, goes on the beach, goes through water and is generally a kind, genuine and fun pony. Easy to have around and do in every aspect. No vices.

We are looking for a nice competition pony for our super keen 9 year old daughter to join our family farm. Our daughter has very sadly out grown her amazing 122, so we are looking for a quality 133 pony that can turn its hoof to everything from all pony club activities to county level showing.

Ideally looking for a pony that has a proven WH record and capable of jumping nursery stakes / open tracks (HOYS / RI tracks would be a bonus) and works nicely on the flat. Would prefer a gelding.

Must be safe in open spaces and not strong or silly and no quirks - needs to be 100% in everyway with no health issues.

We live rural and do hack, so would be good if safe in traffic.

The hardest thing to write! – Poppy is now ready to go to a new home.

The right home for Poppy is my top priority as Poppy has become a member of our family and is one of my favourite ponies of all time – she has colour, individuality, huge talent and personality.

Poppy is approx 13hands Blanket Spotted Sports Pony. 4 Years old.

Pleasantly forward going with a bit of ‘Look at me’ Poppy is honest and kind and tries hard for her rider.

Poppy came to us in January this year to be broken to ride and for Georgia to bring on. Poppy was a dream to break and a very quick learner. Georgia (age 12) has done everything herself and has had a great time introducing Poppy to hacking, then jumping and shows. Poppy has only ever been lightly worked and not daily and has taken everything in her stride and is so enthusiastic of everything Georgia has asked of her.

Poppy has been to pony club rallies and done some riding club activities and has a lovely bold jump with huge scope.

Brilliant to hack out alone or in company in heavy traffic, farm machinery, open spaces and the beach.

Poppy has never been out of the ribbons even at her very first shows winning WH classes. Poppy won her first BSPS Nursery Stakes class at Garstang Agricultural Show last month and came 5th in her first London International qualifier Nursery Stakes last weekend at Bellingham Show! She is getting used to having a bath (not her favourite pastime!) very easy to plait and will stand on the lorry all day.

We are looking for a Five Star experienced home for Poppy where she will continue with her education. She will be a superstar in Showjumping, Working Hunter (Nursery Stakes and has the scope for the133cm Plaited Classes) she is already proving to be an amazing alrounder. Capable jockey needed to bring out the best in this promising young sports pony, she is not really suited to Leadrein and First ridden work.

Poppy is good to load, good with the farrier and is up to date with her vaccinations and has a recent zero worm count.

Poppy is healthy, has never had the vet other than vaccinations - she is open to any vetting and has never had sweetitch or Laminitis.

Very sad sale indeed as Georgia is growing fast and is now out of Poppy’s classes age wise.

Truly beautiful pony with lovely straight paces. Still eligible for novice classes but has competed in both nov and open in Ireland this season though only handful of shows.

My rider unfortunately outgrown him so we’ve borrowed a rider for the RDS this year. Will be available after this Has competed at showjumping/huntertrails/pc eventing/two-phase eventing etc. He’s got a super jump to him and his potential still untapped. He’s jumping 1.20 bareback at home with ease!! Has very nice flatwork and will do his lead changes most of the time. Done beach rides/ponycamp etc

Not a first pony hence for sale as my next daughter not ready for him yet. Will go in a snaffle most of the time. He can be sharp and needs a confident rider who wants to win. He will know the difference. Very straightforward and easy ride for the confident rider but with a nervous rider he will just test the waters and slowly get naughty then throw a buck or spook. However never does it with a confident rider Hes good alone and in company however doesn’t like being on the lorry on his own if coming with more. Happily travels on his own but if travelling with more prefers to be left with company. Good to clip/shoe/hack/groom etc.

We have owned this pony 3 years and my wee girl just loves this pony to bits and this is a very hard sale

The pony has been jumping 90 cm with ease and a few 1m tracks however this year we have tried working hunter and the pony has just excelled at it placing in 2 of the biggest shows in the country.

Went to NIF 2023 and she had 5 placings and 4th in the Hoys qualifier

Nothing at all spooks this pony and she is a machine over cross country taking on anything in front of her

The pony can gear up or down and there is no bad or dirt in her at all

She has clocked up 171 SJI points to date

Missy / Annandale Miss Saigon - Top Track 128 Gold League / Plaited 133 HOYS

This is an advert which should have been done at the end of last season but my daughter couldn’t bear to part with her and wanted to do plaited HOYs WHP however we’ve been too busy with the 138 jumping ponies so have agreed it’s best for Missy to have another little girl who can be her number one.

Missy is one of the straightest & most genuine ponies on the circuit. Exceptional on the flat. She isn’t just a top track BS pony she is a fun, loving & fabulous child’s pony who can step down for children & do lots of activities not just jumping. She loves to hack and loves Cross Country. Missy stepped down for Estelle and would do the same again for a little jockey.

Missy has took a back seat doing WH, flat training this year and has done a couple of shows with friends while we were busy preparing for Hickstead & HOYS qualifiers.

Missy was due to go to Hickstead, Welsh Home Pony & Nationals but due to a close family member bereavement we did not go.

2023 was in the top ten gold league 128 ponies in three months of my daughter starting BS and being frightened to jump bigger than 70cm.

Missy doesn’t stop and is very careful. Any stops Missy has ever had or poles have been inexperienced rider error with us as I believe is often the case with most horses and ponies.

Introduced my nervous daughter to BS starting at Stepping Stones to jumping top track BS tracks in three months. Estelle went from starting BS to being at the top of the Bronze league, silver league then into the gold league.

Missy has been to HOYS & Royal International as a 133 plaited WHP.

Missy is good in every way to catch, shoe, clip, bath & box.

Missy is hugely talented and schools 115 at home. Missy is still in JC & the best is yet to come from her but we have ran out of time for BS.

Missy is placed every time out. One age fine classed as elimination on record at SCOPE due to jumping a 128 class when out of class. Judge advised we could do this on a ticket but have classed as elimination.

I count my blessings everyday we bought Missy. What she has done for my daughter is incredible. Genuine ponies like her are hard to find.
