Stunning Bay 5 year old Irish sports horse 16.1 mare by Sligo Candy Boy.

Maeve was bought directly from the breeder at 6 months old and has been in the same home since. Owned and produced by myself an amateur rider and is sure to have an exciting future.

She has 3 beautiful paces and works into a very soft correct contact. Has a super canter that is uphill and powerful. Produced slowly and correctly with her long term future in mind, this mare is already proving her quality in the arena.

Maeve is correctly built with good conformation. She is super quick to learn and very intelligent, she boasts good movement, a willing attitude, and a kind heart. She produces lovely changes and lateral work is quality.

Exceptionally straight forward on the ground and is a pleasure to do daily. She shows immense ability and presence.

Maeve has her downfalls as a young horse and can be opinionated, she was produced to event however she is not brave enough and jumping is not her forte. She is not at all nasty, she just doesnt enjoy the job she was originally produced for. Maeve has recently been on a hunt ride and behaved impeccably not strong or silly.

By one of my favourite stallions, Drumbad Fletcher Moss a true traditional Connemara type. With Nevins Ranger on the dam side adding athleticism. Class 1 breeding throughout and N/N.

A lovely horse on the flat with a soft snaffle mouth and a genuine attitude to work. He would make an excellent grassroots prospect.

He is incredibly genuine — I can’t see a stride and he always looks after me, never taking offence. He has attended riding club lessons, Connemara showing classes and training shows in Ireland and proved nothing but a delight.

Very smart on the flat, regularly getting dressage marks in the 20's.   Very established ont he flat with good lateral work and changes, great self carriage and massess of scope.  

He is very easy to do in all ways and hacks out alone or in company, very good in traffic etc.  He is for sale at a very reasonable price for  such an established horse, due to having a cataract on one eye which he has had since a 4YO following an injury in the field. This has not impacted his competitive career at all for the last 3 seasons. Only for sale as his owners and rider are looking to invest in a horse to progress to top level eventing. 

He would suit an ambitious amateur looking to have a fun horse eventing at BE100 / Novice or someone looking got a horse to progress up through the dressage grades.

Surprise is a gorgeous, 16.1hh, 6yo gelding by Ramiro B.

He is a beautiful mover and becoming established in his lateral work, counter canter and simple changes. Surprise has been out and done his first unaffiliated dressage where got high 60s%.

He started life as an event horse but isn’t quite brave enough to go up the grades (which is what we were hoping to do with him). He has been great cross country schooling but just didn’t love the competitions.

Because of this he has been out and seen lots of the world. Surprise has excelled in the dressage at his events and training shows. Always up at the top of the leader board. He’s been out and show jumped up to 1m at training shows and unaffiliated shows.

We also took him out with the bloodhounds and he loved it! He tucked in up at the front and was one of only 6 horses to jump everything, finishing off by jumping around the open team chase course, no hedge is too big!

Surprise is very easy to do on the ground at home or at a show. He has no vices and good to shoe/hack alone or in company/load/travel/catch etc.

She has an easy calm character and is very easy to do everything with.

She has a super paces and with her breeding full of Grand Prix horses she has unlimited potential. She takes a nice contact and is easy to school, she leg yields and is just starting the next level of lateral work.

She hasnt competed BD yet so is elegible to compete at any level. However she has had a few outings and she was perfectly behaved.

As she is homebred I know her entire history and she has had the best start in life.

She has been produced slowly and carefully.

She is good to hack and is used to tractors and heavy farm machinery as we live on a busy farm and she loads and travels well.

Her dam was a price highlight at the Westfalien auction and was trained to Grand Prix before starting her breeding programme. She has very interesting breeding similar to Escamillo who is a much prized sire for bringing temperament and rideability.

Her sire Feinrich is a modern sire from an incredibly strong damline. He has an exceptionally good temperament and exquisite paces. He is a beautiful athlete who is an exciting prospect for both sport and breeding.

Performance - With superior ease, Feinrich dominated his high-quality licensing in November 2015 in Redefin. In his 2016 performance test, Feinrich passed with flying colours and finished in the top group.

Sire - Fürst Heinrich was a World Young Horse Champion and Vice-Bundeschampion, as well as champion of his performance test, premium stallion at his licensing, and Oldenburg Hauptprämie winner; an impeccable and unequalled record. His breeding and sport career was tragically cut short due to his death as a 7-year-old. In that short time, Fürst Heinrich had an overwhelmingly positive impact, producing almost 50 licensed stallions and 100 state premium mares. His daughter Woodlander Farouche was a double World Young Horse Champion and is unbeaten in her 11 starts at international small tour level. His most successful stallion son, Fürstenball, was licensing and performance champion, and is the sire of more than 40 licensed sons.

Damline - The dam sire Sir Donnerhall I was reserve champion of his licensing, regional champion, record winner of his stallion performance test, Vice World Champion, Bundeschampion, and winner of the dressage Hauptprämie. He has over 60 licensed sons and numerous auction highlights to his credit including several grand prix horses and the double World Champion, Sa Couer, who sold for €2.3million as a young horse. Stands beautifully to be mounted, great in open spaces.

Bobby does not enjoy jumping on his own.  He has plenty of ability and a great technique.  Happily followed round a tough team chase with a 15yo girl in the saddle at the weekend with no issues at all but would not suit individual competitive competitions.  We are sure he’ll make an amazing hunter, he just prefers a lead.
