“Bestie” – 17hh, 10yo Bay Mare by GrandSlam VDL

A stunning, talented and forward thinking mare with ample power and presence. Bestie combines quality, trainability, and a genuinely lovely temperament.

She has multiple British Dressage wins at Elementary and Novice level (118 points) and is currently training at Advanced Medium. Established in her lateral work (half pass, travers, leg yield and shoulder in) which she excels and enjoys. Showing a correct and controlled change, however still green as we have only recently introduced changes on the flat.

Bestie has introduced myself to BD and patiently teaching me more advanced movements. Even showing my 10year old niece leg yield.

Bestie has also competed successfully at BE Novice. Cross country, she is exceptionally brave and genuine, never questioning a fence and always giving complete confidence. She has multiple double clears at 100 and has the scope and ability to progress further up the levels. She goes off any stride, will take a miss and never holds a grudge. Would make an excellent Tetrathlon horse, as she’d happily take you round the toughest of tracks.

She is a pleasure to have on the yard; she hacks alone and in company and is unfazed by heavy machinery, having lived on a busy farm. She is never silly after time off, although she enjoys regular work. She travels well in both trailer and lorry and is a complete professional at shows, impeccably mannered.

Bestie is affectionate, kind and loves attention. She has never bucked, reared, or bolted.

Easy, fun and forward to ride, I always feel safe when I’m on her.
She doesn’t feel like a big horse to ride as she has a dreamy canter and easy to keep connected.

No novices as she’s a competition horse.

17hh (when last measured) 4 year old Hanoverian Warmblood, dam is by Elroon out of a demonstrator mare and Finnleigh is by Flammengold.

Finn has been with us since 4 months and has been a pleasure ever since! He’s good to shoe, dentist, vets and absolutely loves a groom and a fuss. He is super easy to catch and bring in, he has been out with a mixture of geldings and mares his whole life and has lived out full time and also been in overnight and isn’t bothered either way.

He is currently unbroken purely due to time and also allowing him the time to grow! He has had lots of work done with him since a baby; lots of walks out along the road meeting traffic, lunging, had saddle, bridle and boots on, leant over and desensitised with movement and sounds around saddle, and also has been lead off of another pony out for a hack and always good as gold!

He has three lovely paces and would excel as a dressage horse but has the personality and attitude of a puppy dog so would love a home where he gets lots of love and fuss!

Currently still continuing training and will eventually be backed but he’s a lovely blank slate ready for someone to produce themselves.

We have owned Hugo for just over 12 months and have known and trained him since he was a 5-year-old. He is a striking, well-bred black dressage horse and a truly beautiful individual who always turns heads.

Finn is a beautiful rising 10 year old by Franklin who is trained to advanced medium. He is for sale now before being campaigned at High Profile shows this year when his price will increase. He is for sale as owner just doesn't have time to do him justice.

He has all lateral work established half pass, leg yields, and excellent flying changes. Finn is a very good boy, he loves fuss, is more wow than go. He loves variety and is excellent to hack and in open spaces. He has competed a lot but taken a break whilst learning all the advanced moves and owner having an ill parent. He will be going out again shortly so his price will increase. He is ridden in a snaffle or double, we find him easier in the double but can be in either. He needs variety otherwise gets bored. He loves going on the gallops and very safe even with racehorses flying around.

He is the most incredible competition prospect, he has good xrays. Finn did incredibly well in young horse classes and was a licenced stallion until he was 5. He was gelded as he didn't have quite enough engine. The home is very very important to me, he is an incredibly talented horse, but would suit someone who wants a talented horse and wants to have fun doing variety as he is super brave and unflappable and loves hacking and gallops, and will jump but he is out and out a beautiful dressage horse - he has the most incredible paces, and a fabulous flying change that he loves.

Izzy is a part bred Welsh mare who has been in the same home with us for the past nine years. She is a really nice natured mare and loves to please. Clean limbed, very attractive mare with showing bloodlines. She has done all round activities with me including unaffiliated dressage (typically scores 65-75%) show jumping and cross country (BE80 tracks). Dressage judges love her.

She enjoys pleasure rides, prefers to hack in company but I have hacked her alone since I've had her. We have off road hacking so I can’t comment on what she would be like in traffic. She is good to shoe, clip and catch. For travelling she is better loading onto a lorry than a trailer but will load onto a trailer with a training halter (she has always travelled in a trailer with me). She travels well on both.

Genuine reason for sale. She is better with unrestricted turn out and shelter and for this reason I won't sell her to a home with limited turn out. She is currently coming back in to work after a winter break. She is a kind mare but not for absolute novices. Happy to discuss her past veterinary history.

Izzy would suit a home for general all round activities, hacking, and veteran showing. Homes will be checked for suitability and good home is more important than price. Price to include some rugs and tack is available by separate negotiation. Based near Thetford Forest.

I’ve mainly focused on dressage for the past 2 years , where she has competed at multiple championships, trailblazers in the top 10 in all her classes, petplan Area festivals 6th out of 46, and went to the Petplan winter champion ship at the Nationals where she took this all in her stride but has an amazing jump , pop round a course with ease and she loves grid work! I’ve only jumped her 90cm just as jumping isn’t my interest and she loves fun rides| cross country ( a regular round somerford!)

She has an absolute heart of gold , her manners are impeccable! You could leave her door open 24 7 and she won’t come out, loads like a dream with a trailer, 3.5,7.5 box and stands all day at the show on her own to be tacked up! My 7 year old brother has road her a lot and she’s such a gentle giant good as gold with him, he’s hacked her all through roads, cantered in feilds! She is also amazing with farm machinery never thinks twice about it!

It’s going to be heart breaking sale she has taught me so much and we have grown together but i think I’m ready for the next chapter but her home is most important as she is an absolute princess and deserves a 10 star home.I’m no absolutely no rush to sell as am getting my elementary/ novice scores for the areas but i thought id buy an add up to see if the right home pops up that would be suitable for her!

A much-loved 16hh ISH black mare, 13 years old, owned by us for the past 3 years. Thelma was originally purchased for our very tall 12-year-old (now 15) and has been a genuine, kind partner throughout her time with us.

She has been kept at a professional competition livery yard and previously had one long-term home, where she was ridden and competed by an amateur adult alongside a 5* event rider.

Thelma is well schooled on the flat and produces a lovely dressage test, showing real quality and consistency. She hacks out confidently both alone and in company, is excellent in traffic, and happily goes around roads and open fields. She has even been ridden out by our second, younger daughter (11).

I am just beginning my search for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane.

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics…. maybe the odd local show in future - but just for fun! I will often be hacking alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us on a quiet yard. I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

* I do appreciate that no horse is ‘perfect’ & that ‘bombproof’ does not exist & I am open to compromise but please do just be honest about any possible known ‘issues’ as I will not buy unseen & would want to have any potential horse vetted *

We are based in Norfolk so ideally looking for something in or around East Anglia but would travel further if plenty of info, videos/photos could be provided beforehand. I have a sensible budget & very relaxed & loving forever home for the right horse.

Eloise is one of our homebred horses she is stunning to look at and has a lovely temperament. All she wants to do is please. On the flat she rides beautifully in an outline with a soft mouth (only in a snaffle) and has established changes. A lovely active trot making her a future dressage prospect. Jumping she has proved to be bold and brave, she will go off any stride and doesn’t spook at fillers - jumping up to discovery on a ticket. Very easy to ride and will adjust to a fence would make a fantastic bronze/ silver league horse.

Hacks out alone or in company and isn’t phased by traffic. Currently bare foot due to having very good feet. Good to trim/ box/ travel etc. Forward going but safe doesn’t buck/ nap/ rear etc. She will suit the competent amateur that wants to do abit of all sorts she will turn her hoof to anything could make a good event horse.

An absolute stunner awaiting a career in dressage or an allrounder.

His sire Las Vegas is as a 7yo on the cusp of an international career in dressage and is by the top sire Ferdeaux who had a brilliant start to his sport career; reserve champion in the Pavo Cup as a five-year-old, winner of the stallion competition in Roosendaal and winner of the final of the KWPN Stallion Competition. He is already showing a huge ability for collection in his early piaffe and passage work, demonstrating a lot of talent for the grand prix movements. Five of his sons were accepted into the second round at the KWPN licensing in February 2017, with three then licensed and his son Jackpot placing seventh in the Champions Ring. The KWPN noted that Ferdeaux moves with a lot of self-carriage and balance, and he scored a 9.0 for his canter and never scored below an 8.0 in his licensing report.

His damline is fabulous combining everdale and gribaldi two top dressage sires who need no introduction!

He has competed up to Newcomers in British Showjumping. We are currently working to improve his flat work where the basics are established and is showing great willingness and acceptance to learn new lateral movements and flying changes. He has also done some arena xc training this winter where he jumped everything first time.

Bella is a super mare, friendly and loving. She is fantastic to handle and enjoys being groomed, cuddled and plenty of veggie snacks. Bella has no vices and is a pleasure to be around.

Bella excels in her ridden work, she has 3 fluent and powerful paces and is snaffle mouthed at all times. Bella really shows herself off when she is ridden and I feel she would be a fantastic contender for the dressage ring. She can preform a walk to canter, flying change and shows willingness in her lateral work.

Bella has a nice jump, she makes a lovely shape over the fences and becomes more eager the more you jump. When jumping Bella takes her confidence from her rider, particularly over the first couple of fences, so she would need a confident, capable rider to help her develop her jumping further. Bella is never nasty, she can have the odd spook but she is a very sweet girl.

Bella is stabled on a busy yard, she copes well with tractors, vehicles etc. She is good to hack. She is good with other horses, great to box/shoe/load etc.

Bella has excellent breeding, having produced a lovely foal from the yard that bred her.

Very sad sale due to her owner moving onto university so he hasn't the time to maintain her.
