Spartan is an outstanding Friesian Sports Horse colt. He is currently still entire but can be gelded at the stud he’s at. He is not stallion like and has the kindest temperament. February born so he’s 3.5 years old and I’d say ready to start working towards a ridden career.

His father was a registered 17.2hh Friesian stallion with enormous flamboyant movement, the sweetest and easiest stallion. His mother, an ISH and successful former showjumper, was also 17.1hh. Both with the most wonderful temperaments and lots of charisma. This boy got the best from both. He has the Friesian looks and charm, with versatility of a sports model.

He was imprint trained from birth, and handled daily for his first 16 months of life, before going off to live in a colt herd for the last two years. I have personally put over 100 hours of handling and liberty training in with him and absolutely nothing phases him. As a yearling I felt safer having my children around him than most adult horses. He has been around noisy children, dogs, machinery, tractors in the yard etc.

He has had the best feed, care and socialisation I could possibly give him, given that I bred him to keep for myself. However, we have emigrated to the USA this last year, and I am currently pregnant, due any day, so the idea of importing him any time soon is seeming unjustifiable. I’ve also changed discipline since moving to the states and won’t have anywhere convenient to keep him out here for another year or so, so there are many reasons why I’ve grown to feel there’s a more perfect person out there for him.

Spartan will make a terrific young dressage horse or allrounder. He will be a breeze to start under saddle, given the handling he has had and his calm demeanour. I have a lot of videos of him from his birth to 16 months old, when I kept him at home before he went to live in his colt herd. On this link I have a more recent video too from early 2026. Amongst the younger videos I have one of me sitting on his back while he was laid down in the field, he was 15 months old. He loved human company as a youngster and was a respectful but very playful young man. Now he is all grown up, he is truly one in a million and will be an absolute dream horse for someone.

He is based at a stud in Kent. He is 100% open to vetting and has never once been lame or sick. I cannot be there to show him but the stud owner and staff are very professional and there’s an arena where he can be brought into so that his movement and ground manners can be observed.

This has been a very difficult decision, so please only very serious enquiries. I would prefer to arrange a call time via WhatsApp and then to speak on the phone. We are in Texas, six hours behind the UK.

I am looking for a 5* home for him, with a very experienced person, to ensure the best care and fit possible. Ideally I’d rather not let him go to a livery yard unless the care is high end and turnout is basically unlimited. I’m going to be extremely selective of the home he goes to so please only enquire if you believe you can offer what I’ve described.

I’m firm on price. I had agreed a sale at his prior asking price back in April but the buyer pulled out last minute due to their own situation, and I thought at that time I would keep him. I had a good level of interest at £15k and the only reason I have decided to reduce him is because I want to be able to choose from potential buyers over the next week or so, rather than this being a drawn out process. I’m going to be highly selective of a prospective owner so I very much welcome long messages about the type of home you can offer, over questions that can be answered by properly reading his advert. Honest to every fence you turn him to. Never strong or silly but forward going.

Hacks alone past all farm machinery (lives on working farm). Hacks with company, been up the gallops with others and never puts a hoof out of place.

A truly special horse looking for her next home. This is an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking sale, as she really is an absolute sweetheart and has been a much-loved member of our family.

17hh, 7yo mare by NPS Supernova, out of a Cornet Obolensky mare. Purchased directly from her breeder as a yearling, so she has been with us for the majority of her life.

She is absolutely beautiful inside and out, with a temperament to die for – she genuinely doesn’t know she’s a mare! Tall but compact, she is ridden comfortably by a 5ft 6” female. She is a real people person, extremely cuddly and loves attention and fuss. She is a complete joy to have around.

She has done unaffiliated eventing and won both of her events last August/September, finishing both times on her dressage score. She now has 4 BN double clears and jumps 1.10m at home with scope to burn. She has lacked a little bravery, which we feel may ultimately hold her back from moving up the levels, which was what we had really hoped to do with her. For this reason, we feel she would be much better suited to someone wanting a lovely all-rounder and a genuine one-to-one horse rather than a horse with ambitions to progress through the levels.

She is exceptionally easy to do in every way. She can live in or out, is easy in the stable and to handle, and will happily stand to be clipped untied. She loads and travels well in both our little and big lorry. Can be turned out alone without a care in the world. She hacks alone or in company, has been on fun rides and is extremely well behaved in open fields, including being ridden by a 63-year-old lady. She is not sharp or fizzy and we feel she would equally be suited to hunting, although we have never taken her.

She has never been lame, sick or sorry, with no lumps/bumps/sarcoids.

She can stick her tongue out, which we feel is an excitement thing. I have been able to get dressage tests out of her with her tongue in. It just takes a little getting used to her and understanding the best way to ride her to get the very best from her.

Super confirmation, could also do well in the show ring.

She can be sold with her 1-year-old fitted Fairfax monoflap jump saddle, Henry James bridle and all of her wardrobe, by separate negotiation.

We are two young people with professional careers outside of riding, and unfortunately we are being forced to cut back, making this sale one we never imagined we would have to make. She has been a huge part of our lives and this is genuinely a heartbreaking decision.

We are not looking to sell her to a dealer or to anyone wanting to move her on quickly. We are hoping to find a genuinely kind, loving forever home where she will be treated as one of the family. Showjumping is where Janet really comes alive. She absolutely loves her jumping and has bags of natural ability.

She is scopey, bold and careful, takes you confidently to a fence and genuinely enjoys her job. She has jumped numerous beautiful clear rounds around 90cm–1m and makes it all feel incredibly easy.

There is plenty more in the tank. She has the scope and technique to progress considerably further and I could easily see her making a serious pure showjumper, while she equally has everything required to continue up the levels eventing.

He would also be perfect for someone interested in liberty work or makes the most beautiful model and would pose for the camera all day long

No vices, happy to live in or out and up to date with wormer, dentist, farrier etc

‘Joey’ otherwise known as ‘Mr Snow way’ is a super smart, eye catching project.

Joey is an exceptionally careful horse with a very nice jumping technique!

However, he is looking for a capable rider who can handle his sharpness. He’s not a nasty ride, just fundamentally underexposed and lacking in confidence due to lack of time to put the work in which he deserves!

I’ve have known him for many years, having ridden him at a race yard since a youngster. Joey has always been slightly nervous, in the right hands he will grow in confidence! All the work I’ve done with him, he’s learnt and taken on board very quickly. A clever and sensitive ride.

He’s been team chasing, eventing, an Eventers challenge and has done a couple RoR camps. All taken on board well considering he’s had very little exposure and preparation. I truly believe with some consistency he will settle into his new life and become a really fun ride.

He hacks out alone or in company. Great in traffic. Good to box, shoe and clip. Hasn’t been travelled much so a little green to load. This shouldn’t be a problem with some practice.

Currently in light work, hacking a couple times a week. Ready for a new start and for someone to really get stuck in!
