Vivant van de Heffinck, competed as simply Vivant, has been one of the most consistent and reliable grand prix horses on the circuit over the past decade, competing at four senior championships with three different riders. He has always impressed with his robustness, character, manoeuvrability, scope and great technique - he is supremely rideable and has an outstanding canter. We are looking for a safe and sensible small horse/pony to primarily train to do dressage up to Elementary level with ability to do some low level Show Jumping up to 80/85cm. With our previous horse we had wins and places at Novice level. Could be a show jumper looking to step down and focus on dressage.

We are based in the Surrey Hills with miles of lovely hacking on our doorstep without roadwork. Will be stabled on a small livery yard with fantastic facilities (indoor and outdoor schools). This will be a 10 star forever home for the right horse/pony.

Meet Erol, an exciting and genuinely kind dressage prospect

Erol is a beautifully bred 8-year-old gelding by the sought-after Party Trick, now ready to find his perfect dressage home.

He is without doubt the friendliest horse on the yard - incredibly affectionate, loves attention and cuddles, and is a pleasure to handle in every way. I have owned Erol since he was two years old, and he has been slowly, sympathetically and correctly produced with his long-term future always in mind.

Erol has three lovely, balanced paces and moves beautifully. He has recently started his British Dressage career and has been placed every time out at BD Prelim. He qualified for both Area Festivals and Regionals, and recently went to Area Festivals where he scored 67.46%, finishing 12th in a very competitive class.

Erol is proving himself to be a very exciting prospect for the dressage arena. His British Dressage career has only just begun, yet he has already shown that he is well suited to the discipline.

Although Erol has done some jumping, it has become clear that dressage is where he feels most comfortable and confident, and where his strengths truly lie. With continued, correct education, he has all the ingredients to progress happily up the levels.

Super looking Greenbook Connemara gelding with exceptional paces. With an active hind leg and a natural contact this lovely boy looks to have a super potential for dressage arena. He has the start of leg yield and counter counter already as well as the ability for medium paces.

He has been to arena hires, clinics, show jumping schooling and XC schooling and is very straightforward and brave. He isn’t bothered at all by planks, fillers, water trays etc .

He really enjoys his hacking, will happily go on his own or in a group. First or last, open spaces and roads. He’s not spooky, not phased by Farm or road traffic, cyclists etc.

He is always ridden in a snaffle, and is nicely forward am obedient.

Good to shoe, clip, load, travel etc and polite and well mannered on the ground.

Being six we would like him to go to a home where his education will be continued. He would be suitable for a mother/ daughter share, a teenager, or small adult. He really is lovely and gentle young horse with lots of potential in many disciplines. We would love to find him his new home so he can develop a partnership with his new rider.
