Podrick is a very handsome Irish Sport Horse 6 year old grey gelding standing at 17hh approx. He turns heads whenever we go whether that’s at a show or out on the hunting field.

Podrick has been carefully produced and tried is hand at all disciplines. He has showjumped up at Discovery level with many clear rounds and scope to go higher. He has won numerous unaffiliated dressage’s tests at prelim and has recently stepped up to Novice level winning twice already in novice classes. He also just came reserve champion in the prelim championships at Solihull and 4th in the novice champs.

He has hunted in Ireland as a 4 year old and has been back out autumn hunting this season with the Warwickshire’s and Croome and West Warwickshire packs. Podrick has competed for our Riding Club in dressage , showjumping , combined training , combined challenges and arena eventing.

Pod evented at 90 level all of last season but did not seem to enjoy the cross country going out on his own so would be better suited to other disciplines. This is the only reason for sale as I want to event.

Pod is an absolute joy to have around. He’s good to do in every way. Hacks out alone and in company both on the roads and round the fields. He’s good to clip , shoe , catch and travel. He’s not a novice ride due to his age as he can still be a little green at times. He is more woe than go. A beautiful big horse with lovely uphill paces.

Homebred 4 year old (May 2022) jet black gelding out of an OLDENBURG ELITE mare that I owned for 11 years (now retired) and that bred no fewer than 9 premium graded Oldenburg foals before she retired from breeding 4 years ago. He was her last foal which she had at the age of 20yrs. Still own both of his half sisters (can be seen). His sire (who I owned 2019-2025) is now retired from stud and back competing again in BE with Sharon Wollaston Dressage.

He's stabled/handled every day and has been since birth, so incredibly well handled. He has an exceptionally kind and gentle nature. He is a small compact little horse with stunning looks. So he will definitely catch the eye of the judges. Definitely a lady or talented teenage dressage riders horse who craves 1:1 attention. Very Gucci in his type so would suit somebody who likes an extensive and expensive equine wardrobe !

He loves his stable, his rugs, the farrier, people, attention and being admired/pampered. Not a huge eater but is also is a good doer so easy to keep. Very clean in stable, but would also happily live out over summer so long as he has a shelter. I only breed a very small number of dressage foals each year and he is a very fine example so I am looking for the right rider. He's finely built and only 16.1Hh (like his dam) and so would be best suited to a rider that's 5'8" or less in height and under 12st. in weight.

His X-Rays are NOT PERFECT, he has 3 lesions which you are welcome to see. BUT he is 100% sound so our vets advice is DO NOT do surgery on a horse that's been sound since birth! Rather to bring him into work and then deal with it ONLY if it troubles him down the line. So he's well advanced with his backing now, hes been sat on bareback and will be under saddle in the coming 4-6 weeks. He will be sold lightly backed. He has been sound all of his life. The price reflects the massive 40% discount due to imperfections in the X-Rays, that discount is more than the money needed to do the surgery SHOULD it ever need to be done. Today he will NOT pass a 2 stage vetting because of the lesions!!!!

At just 5 years old he is schooling beautifully with three lovely correct paces (always commented on by the judges) He fully qualified for summer Areas and Regionals with all 7 qualifying scores at Prelim this year coming in his first 7 tests. Already has 3 scores towards winter Areas/regionals including 69.4 in the prelim 6 at Arley moss in August and a fabulous 71.8 at Kelsall Hill in September to take the win. This horse has significant potential to advance through the levels but equally he is such a sweet horse he would be ideal for an amateur who is happy to compete at the lower levels.

Produced 2 lovely tests at Regional finals scoring a fabulous 69.4 from one judge at Northallerton in a big atmosphere.

The best thing I can say about him is that he's literally a pleasure to take out to a lesson or a competition. Travels quietly in both of my boxes either alone in a 3.5t or with other horses in the large wagon. Always stands quietly to be tacked up and requires very little working in and just gets on with his job. He has competed at many different venues both indoors and outdoors including Kelsall in the big indoor and Arena Uk in the outdoor with another horse nextdoor and he's never spooky or silly at judges/flower pots etc.

Lives out currently but during winter was just as happy in at night. Not needy in any way.

Someone is going to get a lovely young horse with a mature head on his shoulders who could turn into something really special and is already scoring really well every time he goes out. Open to any vet/x-rays etc. Never seen the vet in all the time I've had him.

Very sad sale of our much-loved Dexter, who has been with us for the past six years.

Dexter is a quality 15.2hh Irish Sport Horse gelding with plenty of presence and lovely movement. Having previously competed at Elementary level dressage, he knows his job between the white boards and has some lovely established work.

He has the moves to match his looks and would be great fun for an experienced rider who enjoys their flatwork, without the pressure of competing.

He hacks alone but much prefers company and is absolutely brilliant in traffic, including heavy traffic.

Dexter is a kind, sensitive horse who can be strong, so he is not a novice ride. He is best suited to a confident, experienced rider who will ride him sympathetically and appreciate him for the lovely horse he is.

Good with the farrier and happy living in or out. Ok to load and requires sedation for the dentist and clipping.

He is sound, on no medication and has no known health issues.

Dyderyck Fan Wopke - Absolute super model of a horse who everyone stops to admire. Deryck was imported from the Netherlands in 2020 and largely hacked out in his first home so very low milage. He is green in the arena where he does need a lot of leg to get going. He is great to hack both alone and in company and in traffic and is completely safe in all ways. If he does spook you will only just stop and stare and just need to kick to get going again.

Deryck has been on hound exercise where he behaved perfectly and was lovely and forward without being strong or silly. Happy to be at the back and very good with both the hounds and other horses. Teddy is a true gentleman. He has so much to give for such a young horse with three uphill lovely balanced gaits. He has scope to burn, jumping with my 9-year-old daughter everything she points him at. His still young so no novice or beginners. This boy will go very far. His so genuine and kind. He is green as is to be expected for his age but schools in all 3 paces with beautiful, floaty movement and has a willing attitude towards his work, showing a trainable nature and huge potential.

In the school, he has an established walk, trot, canter with easy transitions both up and down and he will work into a contact. He has a beautifully balanced and collected canter and moves straight and correct. He would definitely excel in the dressage world.

Valiente hacks both alone and in company, not a spooky sort in the slightest and he is great in traffic. Safe in open spaces, he will happily canter over an open field and come straight back after. I trust him so much out hacking that I canter grass verges on the side of the road and I know he will keep me safe and stop as soon as he is asked to!

He has been introduced to jumping small fences and, as always, is willing and honest and has great scope over fences, so there’s definitely potential for him to make a really smart all rounder. He is ready to be produced into any sphere.
