This lovely horse switched from BE to BD in the summer 2025, immediately gaining regional and national qualifications at elementary level.

He has only switched to dressage as this is what he loves and no longer enjoys the XC aspect of eventing following an injury in 2024 which is fully healed & has no impact on his ability or soundness.

He has been owned by the same family over the last 8 years & produced & competed by both daughters from their early teens who have trained all the way through with first Ian Woodhead and for the last 6 years Tracy Woodhead

At just 5 years old he is schooling beautifully with three lovely correct paces (always commented on by the judges) He fully qualified for summer Areas and Regionals with all 7 qualifying scores at Prelim this year coming in his first 7 tests. Already has 5 scores towards winter Areas/regionals including 69.4 in the prelim 6 at Arley moss in August, 71.8 at Kelsall Hill in September to take the win and 71.4 at Pickering Grange to pick up another win, 9% ahead of the next horse. The best thing I can say about him is that he's literally a pleasure to take out to a lesson or a competition. Travels quietly in both of my boxes either alone in a 3.5t or with other horses in the large wagon. Always stands quietly to be tacked up and requires very little working in and just gets on with his job. He has competed at many different venues both indoors and outdoors including Kelsall in the big indoor and Arena Uk in the outdoor with another horse nextdoor and he's never spooky or silly at judges/flower pots etc.

Lives out currently but during winter was just as happy in at night. Not needy in any way.

Very sad sale because my daughter is going to university.

We bought Rossi directly from his breeders three years ago. Since then, my teenage daughter has trained him up to Medium dressage. They have successfully competed BD up to Elementary and Unaffiliated up to Medium. They’ve also done lots of Ponyclub activities, including camp, rallies, and stayaway shows. They’ve qualified for Ponyclub National Championships four years in a row and have competed in the Intermediate, Open and Freestyle classes, and got several placings. Earlier this year they’ve also qualified for Ponyclub Spring Festival where they came third in the Open FTM.

Rossi has three lovely paces and is a very quick learner. He has a green change and a lot of potential to go far with the right rider. He enjoys a varied lifestyle, including hacking – either alone or in company. Rossi has been to several fun-rides, and he loves a good gallop – with or without saddle. He also loves to jump – both show-jumping and cross-country. He doesn’t bat an eyelid at fillers and jumps everything, but needs some convincing to go into water.

However, Rossi is not a novice ride. He has big movements, and he needs a knowledgeable rider and home. He is good to handle on the ground, and can be turned out alone or in a herd with mares or geldings.

Rossi is good to load and shoe, and up-to-date with vaccinations and dentist.

Isaac is a light, elegant and responsive horse to ride who enjoys his work. He has three lovely paces, finds all of his lateral work very easy, has good ability to extend and collect and has a clean (but still slightly green) change each way. He goes in a snaffle or a double.

167 BD points but could still compete at Elementary Bronze with an eligible rider. He could be a wonderful schoolmaster for someone to learn the ropes at ele/medium or equally he has lots of untapped ability to develop more and could certainly progress to PSG or more with the right rider.

Isaac loves his hacking - he goes out alone or in company, in front or behind, and is very good with heavy traffic and in open spaces.

Isaac was originally bought by me as an unbroken 3yo to event. He was a winner at BE90 level but did not enjoy the showjumping in a competitive environment so I made the choice to focus on dressage with him so that I could learn to ride the higher level work. He does however enjoy his cross country (loves a farm ride trip), and is happy to do polework/gridwork/SJ lessons in a non-competitive or lower key setting.

He is only for sale because my heart is in eventing and he keeps getting put on the back burner because dressage is not 'my thing'! This is a very sad sale because he is an absolute delight to have around and the sweetest horse to do.

He is a very compact 16.2/3 and would suit a smaller rider or even a teenager moving up onto horses. He is very easy to sit to. He's a very well mannered ride and would be perfect for a competitive amateur, but not suitable for a novice or very nervous rider as he can have a little spook (absolutely nothing nasty - he's just not a robot) and he responds to light aids. Does not need riding every day and will be the same to ride even if he's been on holiday for a few weeks!

He has no vices and is easy to do in all ways. He has had a tiny sarcoid removed and a minor annual maintenance requirement which I am happy to discuss with genuinely interested buyers and is reflected in my asking price.
