Red is a very attractive young horse with a very bright future ahead of him. He is a registered British sports horse by the up and coming British sports horse stallion Namchee bazaar, who takes his quality and versatility from his sire ‘Up with the Lark’. Red’s dam sire is TB stallion Power Blade who differs from most thoroughbred’s by being jumping bred and jumped himself internationally at 1.30. Red’s breeding screams versatility throughout, and whilst being schooled and ridden away by ourselves, he has proven to be exactly that, a very useful and versatile young horse.

On the flat Red has 3 fluent and rhythmical paces, works well in the contact and in an outline for his age, and has started unaffiliated dressage competitions. He is training at prelim level with the correct attributes to move up the levels. Willing and level headed.

Red has been jumping courses of around 80cm, he is forward thinking and brave. He does not over jump fences, he is quick to look for the next fence and has jumped a few cross-country fences without issue. He would be a strong candidate for future eventing.

Red has done plenty of hacking, goes alone but does prefer company and has seen light farm traffic.

Red is good to do on the ground, good to load, shoe catch. He is a very friendly horse, who does enjoy the attention. When Red first arrived on the yard he did weave in the stable due to the stress, he did this for a couple of hours and we haven’t seen him do it since.
