Ron has been carefully and thoughtfully produced by the same professional rider since a three year old, he was very successful in the young horse classes, his highlights included winning the four year old class at myerscough premier league, and finishing 8th at the nationals in the final that year.

Everything we have done with Ron has been with his longevity and future in mind. He regularly hacks/ goes cantering , alone and in company , and also long reins alongside his training in the arena and enjoys the variety. I regularly take him and another horse to shows or for training on my own as I very rarely have any help and he is easy to load and deal with.

He enjoys having a partnership with his rider , he is very intelligent, which has made it possible to train him to this level without pushing him or spending long sessions in the arena. Training this boy for five years has been an absolute privilege and there is no doubt that with the right rider he will go on to be a Grand Prix horse and be a serious contender at FEI level.

Ron has also enabled me to return to the saddle after a very serious illness and continue to achieve success despite battling ongoing health issues , he is a very special horse to me and will only be available to the perfect home. Jumps a small course with fillers etc - she hasn’t done a huge amount of jumping as I have always been more focused on dressage - could easily progress more in this area.

I have owned her since an unbacked 2 year old so I know her inside out.

Only for sale as I have some big dressage dreams and I feel she has reached her full dressage potential - she is unlikely to be a competitive regional/national horse or go beyond Medium level. She would be perfect for someone wanting to work their way through the levels with medium as the top goal (rather than someone that wants to start at medium and progress), or someone that wants to compete riding club or something that simply wants a quality forward thinking horse to ride!

She is still eligible for prelim silver area festivals, novice silver area festivals and elementary bronze or silver area festivals.

She pokes her Tounge out at the front. I have investigated this extensively - even getting a head CT and there is no physical cause - just a habit!

‘Raspberry’ is a super top quality mare in a smaller package. Standing at 16hh she has all the ability needed to climb the Dressage levels with three super expressive and well balanced paces. She already shows great ability in her lateral work, she is very willing and always wants to please! She has a super character both on the ground and in the saddle - she is light and sensitive to ride but never sharp or silly! Recently competed at her first show posting 70+% scores, taking everything in her stride and showing she has it all for a top competition horse.
