Harold is an outstanding 8-year-old full Irish Draught standing at 18hh. I have owned him since he was a 3-year-old and have produced him myself, making this an incredibly difficult decision.

He truly is the definition of a gentle giant. Harold has the kindest temperament and is trusted to be handled, led, turned out and brought in by complete novices. He has impeccable manners both at home and away and is a pleasure in every aspect. He is good to load, travel, clip, shoe, bath, have his teeth done. He travels perfectly in a trailer, and I regularly compete on my own with him as he stands quietly and behaves impeccably.

Harold is an incredibly versatile horse who has enjoyed success across multiple disciplines. We have been active members of the British Riding Club, competing and training in groups. He has competed British Showjumping at British Novice and Discovery level, although this has never been our main focus and my own lack of confidence over bigger fences is reflected in his record rather than his ability.

He has lightly evented both affiliated and unaffiliated at BE90 level and is confidently training at BE100. Dressage has been our main focus this last year and Harold has really excelled. Last season we qualified for the Petplan Area Festivals, achieving three top-three placings and a top-ten finish across Prelim and Novice classes. We have recently stepped up to Elementary and are now training Medium movements.

Harold hacks alone or in company, happily goes in front or behind, and is never spooky, strong or silly. He absolutely loves adventures, whether that's mountain rides, farm rides or, best of all, beach rides. He is always ridden in a snaffle in every discipline.

In 2025, Harold was selected to appear on Horse & Country's *All Star Academy*, where he spent a week training with some of the sport's leading professionals, all of whom commented on his trainability, attitude and exceptional temperament.

Harold has been a huge part of my life and owes me absolutely nothing. He is a genuine all-rounder with a heart of gold who would suit someone looking for a safe, versatile partner to enjoy a variety of disciplines. Equally, he has the ability to continue progressing with the right rider.

Where do I start! I purchased Hercules as a foal from Ireland. As a 3 year old I showed him in hand a a few local venues taking Champion a few times. Feb 2023 he was backed, April 2023 his under saddle competition career started.

Hercules was Hunter Champion as a 4 yr old at Stars which was a great preparation for London getting him used to the busy surrounding's and atmosphere.

Hercules has been to various county shows, taking Champion to qualify for London where he finished 2nd in the Heavyweight Hunter Final.

Weve taken Champion at many shows as he really is a special horse and is extremely impressive so really stands out.

Weve competed British Dressage just to improve his education, taking Full Draught British Dressage Associate Champion at Novice and Elementary 2024.

He has since competed at Medium level BD scoring 69-71%. He has started changes

Hercules is very special to me and im particular as to where he goes.

He is lacking hacking experience as he isnt the best with big tractors or wagons passing closely and im too old to ride on the road!

Hes ridden on quiet roads away from home and has been fine, hes been on numerous fun rides and jumped small logs and x country jumps easily. But ive not jumped him big as its not my thing. Ive taken him to the gallops on a regular basis and he is the type who does not get upset when other horses gallop past him. He really is a pleasure to take out and has a lot to teach any rider in the arena as he is very educated for his type!!

In July 2025 Hercules had a tie back operation which was extremely successful as he no longer makes a noise when ridden and can now win big classes in the show ring.

Hercules has no vices, blemishes, he has clean legs, no lumps or bumps, good feet and a beautiful brain! I'm very particular who buys Hercules as I love this horse.

Jax has three expressive, elastic paces that consistently attract high marks from the judges. At home jax is just as special. 14-Year-Old Dressage Mare Available for Loan/Lease

Due to an unexpected work relocation, I am seeking a long-term loan or lease home for my much-loved 14-year-old dressage mare. This is an incredibly difficult decision, so finding the right partnership is my absolute priority.

She has competed successfully up to Advanced Medium at both regional and national level and has always shown quality and talent. However, she has found lateral work and maintaining suppleness physically challenging. Rather than continue to push her up the levels, I made the decision to step back from competition over the past 12 months to focus on rebuilding her foundations through classical dressage, combined with bodywork and tensegrity principles. The progress has been challenging but rewarding, and I'm looking for someone with similar training principles to be able to continue her education.

I would love to find someone with knowledge of, experience in, or a genuine passion for classical dressage, biomechanics and bodywork to continue this journey. A return to higher-level competition could certainly be possible with the right rider if she is happy and able, but this is by no means the priority. Her long-term soundness, confidence and correct development will always come first.

She currently lives out and is very happy doing so, although she also settles well in a stable. More than anything, she thrives on consistency and routine. She would be best suited to a quieter, sympathetic environment rather than a busy competition yard.

She travels well on a 7.5-tonne lorry and is wonderful to take out and about. She is sensitive on the ground. She has previously been challenging to handle at times, particularly in the stable. I have tried to manage this with groundwork, routine and patience, and therefore requires a calm, confident handler, so she is absolutely not suitable for novices.

This mare has much to offer to the right person. She is intelligent and rewarding to work with, but she needs someone who appreciates taking the time to develop a horse correctly and who values partnership over quick results.

Cassie has competed in BD for the past 3 seasons starting at prelim and is now fully established and competing at Elementary level with great success with scores at 68% and has just started Medium level. She has qualifyed for Petplans each winter and summer at Prelim/Novice and elementary level. She qualified for the Petplan championships at Novice last year and won the Novice championship at the Scottish championships with 69%.

We represented Scotland on the BD inter nations team and travelled to Addington manor where she was in the high 60s and was an absolute dream.

She won the Intermediate BRC Novice qualifier and qualified for Arena uk and we came 10th in the final last year in a huge class!

Cassie got a wild card for the Novice Petplan finals last summer but sadly we couldn’t go due to very bad weather.

She has attended some BD stay away camps and been used for a few BD judges training days too as a demo horse.

Judges love her, she really does have the wow factor! She has a beautiful way of going, carrying herself in a lovely outline, always staying in a beautiful rhythm, her canter especially is exceptional with judges scoring her very well. She knows her trot and canter half passes, and walk pirouettes.

Cassie is incredibly straight forward to ride, she’s not sharp , she’s very trainable, and always gives you her best. She was bought as a 5 year old for my daughter to produce for BE young riders, she successfully evented her as a 6 year old for one season at BE 90 jumping clear at all 4 events they did including Belsay and Floors Castle. She then sadly decided to give up riding competitively, after her advanced horse was sold, however has continued to ride and jump Cassie at home the past few years. She is incredibly genuine and straight forward to a fence and never looks at a thing!

I took over the ride and came back to competing after over 10 years away from it after loosing my nerve. I have done all the flatwork training with her myself, with the help of some excellent trainers and we have learned together starting at prelim and now working at medium level , it’s been an incredibly rewarding and exciting journey and I’ve achieved more than I could have imagined with her. Cassie has been a horse of a lifetime and this is an incredibly sad sale.

Cassie is an incredibly special horse, she has the sweetest, kindest temperament you’ll find in a mare. She’s good to shoe, box, catch and you can clip her with no headcoller. She has no vices, has had no lameness issues and has no medical history. She’s up to date with all vaccinations/ shoes/ teeth/physio. Having been bought through a contact straight from her breeder her full history is known, her Dam is very well known in Scotland as she was a very well known event horse, her sire is now producing some top dressage and sport horses, she has an excellent pedigree. She lives on a very busy livery/ competition yard so is used to farm machinery and busy farm life.

Cassie would suit a competitive junior/ young rider or a competent amateur to go up the levels or equally take someone from the start up the levels. She would be very competitive in the BD combined training competitions. She adores the dressage and has all the talent and train ability to go up the levels.

She means the world to our family so will only go to the very best of homes.
