Re available due to the world’s biggest time wasters!
Sad sale of much loved family horse due to rider relocating.

Coco has been with us for 10 years and we now feel it is time to let her go and be enjoyed and adored by someone else.
She has 3 established paces, all lateral movements including leg yield, walk to canter etc. Changes are there just rusty. Always in the placings in dressage with multiple qualifications including 4th at Pony Club National Championships. Dressage has always been something she has particularly enjoyed and is naturally good at.

Consistent showjumper, again always in the placings. Can count on one hand how many poles she’s had over the past 10 years. Very neat and never looks at fillers etc. Wins at 80 level eventing, enjoys xc schooling. Always good away at events, just the same at home and away. Snaffle mouthed for everything.

Bombproof is a term thrown around a lot lately, but she is the very essence of the word. Nothing phases this horse. Hacks alone or in company, first or last, in the heaviest of traffic or in the worst of weathers. She really is anyone’s ride. Never reared, spun or bolted. She will rarely have the odd buck when told off but nothing that will unseat a rider.

Good to do in all ways, clip, load, shoe etc. She is the ultimate good doer and is quite happy as long as she’s got food. She doesn’t change if she’s ridden every day or not ridden for a month.

Never sick or sorry. She has got a splint on her front leg which has never bothered her and in true coco fashion, has never been lame on it.
She has given us endless days of fun over the last 10 years and we will be very sad to see her go but feel she would be someone's ultimate PC, RC, Dressage, allrounder or even happy hacker, and give them the enjoyment she’s given us. She is really worth her weight in gold.

Endless photos and videos on request. Full wardrobe included.

Reduced as quick sale needed as rider relocating abroad in Feb.

  • Prince is the sort of pony who will suit a wide range of riders and situations.

Prince, a rising five-year-old purebred Connemara gelding who is turning heads wherever he goes. Standing at 15hh and still growing, this striking young gelding truly embodies the quality and character that the Connemara breed is so well known for. With his beautiful conformation, kind eye, and gentle temperament, Prince is not only a joy to look at but also a pleasure to have around the yard.

Prince is exceptionally well bred, by Cornfield Prince out of a mare by Johns Pride, with Matchmakers Lad further back in his pedigree. His breeding shines through in both his ability and temperament. From day one, he has shown himself to be incredibly versatile, smart, and eager to please. Whatever you ask of him, he gives it his all with a willing and honest attitude.

Under saddle, Prince is a delight. He is straightforward, kind, and easy to ride, making him ideal for a variety of riders. He moves beautifully with three balanced, expressive paces and a naturally uphill way of going. Over fences, he is brave and careful, having already jumped confidently up to 1m at home. He loves his jumping and equally enjoys cross country, taking every fence and question in his stride without hesitation or fuss. Whether it’s show jumping, eventing, or just fun days out, Prince approaches everything with enthusiasm and a calm, level head.

Prince is the sort of pony who will suit a wide range of riders and situations. He would be an ideal choice for someone looking to move up from smaller ponies, a fantastic mother–daughter share, a valuable addition to a riding school, or a talented partner for a more competitive home. His temperament and talent mean he can truly turn his hoof to anything — from hacking and fun rides to dressage and jumping.

In the yard, Prince is a gentleman. He is easy to shoe, box, catch, and handle in every way. He hacks out both alone and in company and is excellent in traffic. He has no stable vices and is a lovely companion to other horses. Prince has a bright future ahead of him and is ready now to find a loving home where he can continue to shine.

He is open to any vetting, and for extra peace of mind, transport to your yard anywhere in the UK is included, with an exchange offered if you’re not completely happy. Horses of this quality and temperament are hard to find — Prince is a real all-round superstar with the looks, breeding, and attitude to go far in any discipline.

To see Prince in action, please scroll down to watch his video. For more information, don’t hesitate to get in touch — call me anytime on 00353 86 8077626 or email gertytynan@gmail.com.

Prince is truly one in a million, and he’s ready now to make someone very proud.

Polocrosse Pony / Genuine All Rounder

  • Bay
  • Gelding
  • 14 years
  • 15.3 hands
  • Easy to handle, loving temperament
  • Bold and brave, will try anything you ask of him
  • Intelligent boy, quick to learn

D Brickie - He has done it all! Polocrosse, SJ, XC, BD, Le TREC, Riding Club activities, clinics, fun rides, hunting, beach rides, film, gallops, schooling, he’s easy to take out and always enthusiastic and willing.

With his previous owner he used to play polocrosse for Ireland but with me, for the last six years, he has done everything else. I brought him over from Ireland in February 2020.

He has been competing at show jumping/cross country at 70/80cm, no higher due to my nervousness, but has more scope. Dressage to Prelim. Tried Le TREC for first time in 2025 and he took to it really easily due to his polocrosse training.

Good to travel (trailer/lorry) and always well behaved, will travel alone or with company.

Will hack out alone or in company not bothered about traffic/machinery - stabled on working arable farm. Very easy to manage will live in/out currently out with mares. Perfect to shoe, clip, catch, groom, bath, vet, dentist, etc.

Whilst out of strong racing line has never raced, however can be forward and sharp. Would suit competent, confident, light rider wanting to do a bit of everything and have some fun at local riding club.

Full veterinary history available for last 6 years. Genuine reason for sale. 5* home only, no timewasters as this is a hard decision for me. Private sale from current owner, homes will be vetted and references may be asked for.

Loads of videos/photos available.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Sadly re-available as too gentle to cope with over zealous Shetland pack leader!!

Holstein x BWB. First to view did buy this lovely chap, hoping for a repeat performance!

Exceptionally well bred & low mileage.

Sad sale as we simply love this horse but with ‘Taylor’s’ jockey on a gap year before uni, it’s time to find him his next loving home.

Well mannered & confidence giving, he’s perfect for someone looking to step up to horses or alternatively wanting to step down to something safer but still fun. He is light in the mouth & responsive to the aids.

Taylor has done a bit of everything between my son & daughter (18 & 14) over the last two years inc camps & eventing clinics at Somerford & Greenlands EC, PC & NSEA - qualifying for national champs with new 12yr old rider.

He loves XC (Badminton grassroots prospect).
Bred to jump (I’m told his half sister won European gold league) yet we’ve only asked up to 90cm of him out & up to 1m15 at home.
He’s even done some archery - my son’s favoured discipline.

100% barefoot, good with farrier, vet, clip etc.
Does not weave or wind suck & is a dream to load (box or trailer).
Is not spooky & has never been known to spin or bolt. Does not buck, rear, kick or bite.

He prefers company in the field and is equally content with mares or geldings.

He really is the best of horses to handle & hack out. Not a nasty bone in his body & never had a day off sick/ unsound. Full history known. No medical issues but will only go somewhere with access to adequate year round turnout. Likes a stable at night.

Pls call Natalya on 07880804719 if interested.

Patrick is a genuinely unspoilt, 3 rising 4 year old gelding with a wonderful temperament. He is a true “dope on a rope” to lead and handle, and a pleasure to have on the yard. He is currently measuring at 15.3hh and has 10.5” of bone.

He happily lives in or out, and turns out sensibly with both mares and geldings. Patrick has loaded and travelled on a wagon several times without issue, and has been walked out in traffic and seen farm machinery.

Patrick is unbroken, ready for someone to produce their own way. He has a willing nature and steady outlook on life. With his temperament, he could excel as a future allrounder, safe hack, hunter, or even a therapy/RDA type with the right training. He’s a total blank canvas ready for someone to bring out his full potential.

A super friendly, easy going cob who will be a lovely project for someone wanting a genuine youngster with a bright future ahead. Cobs of this size, stamp and nature are increasingly hard to find. Patrick combines height, bone and presence with an exceptionally kind, easy going outlook.

Photos don’t quite capture him, and you’ll need to look past the winter woollies, but he’s going to mature into a seriously smart cob.

Great fun, experienced and safe!

Rosie – Fabulous All-Rounder. Approx. 14'3/15h mare. Perfect Mum & Child Share

Rosie is a lovely, genuine mare who makes a fantastic mum and child share.

She joined us over the summer, when my daughter has gradually brought her back into work, enjoying fun rides, farm rides, and hacking.

She has previously had a minor suspensory injury, however this has caused us no issues at all since owning her (with us since March 2025). She is sound, well, and absolutely loving life.

Rosie can be a little fizzy, but she is very kind-natured, genuine, and a pleasure to have around. I am a novice rider, and she has given me real confidence both in the arena and out hacking.

She enjoys show jumping and has jumped competently up to 85cm at local shows. With further time and consistency, she is certainly capable of more.
Good for the farrier
Good to clip
Happy living in or out
Hacks alone or in company

She is not a first horse, as she can be fizzy.

This is a very sad sale, only due to needing to raise funds for our other poorly horse. Rosie is much loved and will only go to a 5 star home.

Good home more important than price, so negotiable on price.

This is a rare opportunity to purchase a stunning young Traditional Cob mare who is destined for big things. She has all the attributes to be a winner whether that’s between the boards or in the show ring. Confirmationally she’s very well put together, beautifully marked and so eye catching. She really is a beautiful girl.

Patchy has the most fantastic paces, they are bold and flashy, making her turn heads! She is very well schooled for her age, proving to be very trainable and an absolute pleasure to ride. She is the one that we all fight over who’s going to ride her every day and is definitely a yard favourite! She has so much potential and would be a fantastic prospect for Petplans.

Patchy has just started jumping and will pop round a small course, totally unfazed by fillers. She has plenty of scope and would be a contender for BD CT Championships!

At home, she is a complete pleasure to have around on the yard. She is vice free, hacks alone and in company, 100% to catch, load, farrier ect.

Storm has come to us on behalf of her owner to find her forever home. She has three correct uphill paces and a great attitude to her work.

Never says no to anything and proving very safe and sensible. Hacks alone and in company with no issues. Happy to work in the school with three correct forward paces.

Has started her basic pole work and currently trotting and popping a small fence again with no issues.

Storm would suit someone wanting to go out and have some fun on whether thats simply happy hacking/pleasure rides or wants to delve into the competition scene as certainly has good enough movement for pure dressage/showing.

Lightning - 5 year old Connie, 15h (finer type)

Lovely temperament, handled by a 12 year old.

Has recently started jumping and came 3rd out of 15 in his first comp at 60. Has been to pony club rallies (cross country and jumping) indoor and outdoor arenas. Loads well, clips fine. Great on the road alone or in company, will happily lead.

He needs to continue building his muscles and top line as he is still weak, and he will throw in the odd buck in canter, this has got less and less as we worked on just hacking out and hill work. Not enough of a buck to get you off but he can throw one in.

He is still sensitive with picking his back feet out, you have to take it slow but this improving more and more but again in a one on one home this get sorted in no time.

He lives out 24/7 in a mixed herd currently, but would happily go in a stable.

Up to date with jabs, teeth and no vet visits with us other than for jabs.

My niece has sadly decided she no longer wants to ride so he's without a rider now.

I have ridden for over 50 years & have in my time hunted, schooled & hacked a number of my own horses.

I am now 66 years old & I am looking primarily for a horse to act as a companion for my wife's mare & hopefully something that I can ride from time to time to accompany her on local hacks.

This horse will be good in traffic, easy to clip & shoe and ideally be around 12 > 14 years old. I am 6ft tall and weigh around 80 kilos.

It will be stabled on our own yard and have 24 hour turnout in the summer and daytime turnout in the winter.

It must be suitable for occasional use, it may get ridden 3 days one week & then not again for 2 weeks without causing problems.

If your life is full with work, family, and commitments—but you still want a horse you can enjoy whenever you have the time—this mare could be exactly what you are looking for.
She is the definition of straightforward and dependable. You can leave her for days or weeks and she will be exactly the same when you get back on: calm, willing, and a genuine pleasure to ride. No constant leg, no sharpness, no drama—just a comfortable, responsive ride with an easy, balanced way of going and a lovely, sensible equal “go and whoa.”

She is happy to enjoy a forward canter across fields or down tracks, yet always comes back easily and safely. She stands patiently at the mounting block for as long as needed and is very accommodating for riders who value stability and good manners.

Hacking is where she truly shines. She hacks alone or in company, will happily be led from another horse or lead one herself, opens and closes gates, and is completely unfazed by heavy traffic—we live on a 50mph road. She is the sort of horse you can relax on and simply enjoy.

She has also had a varied and sensible life: attending dressage and show jumping competitions and clinics (Prelim dressage and up to 70cm), being a wonderful broodmare who conceived and foaled easily, and most importantly, being a safe, confidence-giving hack. She is the horse you get on without worrying how long it has been since you last rode.

She is barefoot, fully vaccinated, and very easy to manage—good to clip, wash, spray, and handle in all aspects. She comes with a made-to-measure Albion K2 saddle, Seddon bridle, and a selection of rugs.

This mare is offered at a sensible but realistic price for a genuinely special, safe, and versatile horse. She would suit a rider looking for a kind, trustworthy partner rather than a project. She deserves to be someone’s number one and is only available because I have bred a taller replacement.

A truly lovely cob for someone who wants quality, reliability, and peace of mind.

15hh 4 year old black cob mare has recently been backed. She has a good mouth, still green and sometimes gets the wrong canter lead but this will come with time.

She is very sweet and easy to handle in and out of the stable with good manners. Shes hacked quite a few times now and is good with traffic. She canters across fields, Wirral way etc and is easy to stop and doesn't get excited or silly

She has just started to jump and she really enjoys this as seen on video. She's done one farm ride and jumped several small jumps. Didn't get silly or strong, a real super mare who loves to get out

She never bucks, rears or runs off, a lovely sort and will make someone a lovely family cob for the family to share. However this mare has only been ridden for several weeks and ideally doesnt want to go to a novice riders home as this sometimes doesnt work as they learn bad habbits.

Shes the sort of mare that if you didnt ride for 4 days she would be the same when you next get on. Never sharp or silly

Shes been to the local gallops once and was extremely well behaved, loaded and travelled well on her own

She has no vices, goes out with mares or geldings in field, clean legs, great condition, good to clip, a good doer!

Ive owned this mare for 2 years buying her from the breeder in ireland and her Sir was a gypsy cob and her Dam was an Irish Draught
