Buddy is a very talented ISH (out of a French mare) who has been produced slowly and carefully over the last few years. He flew around his first two Novices at Aston le walls in 2024 and looked set for the top in Eventing, with great bloodlines and the talent to match.

He didn't compete in 2025 while his owner was pregnant and had a baby (the same as the other horses on the yard), and this season has come out very spooky going between fields xc. He led the Dressage and show-jumping at his last event, and is very well established in those two phases. Buddy is brave and careful show-jumping, and gives the rider a great feeling. He also has loved his xc in the past, and is a rare combination of brave, clever and quick thinking - not afraid of water or ditches - so I do believe he could return to eventing with some more time and practise. He is now offered at a fraction of his previous value either as a show-jumper, which we are sure he will excel at, or as an eventer for someone who is happy to take him out to lots of schooling venues and rebuild his xc enthusiasm.

This is a sad sale of a much loved horse, who I enjoy riding every day and is a great character to have around.

Sox is a beautiful mare with three quality paces and a lovely, kind temperament.

She is snaffle-mouthed, honest and genuine, with an adjustable stride making her straightforward to ride into a fence. She is confident with water, ditches and skinnies, and has successfully competed at BE100 level. With her ability and attitude, she has the potential to progress to Novice and beyond with the right rider.

As well as eventing Sox has led round numerous team chases and hunted.

16.1h 7yro chestnut gelding. 

Schools very nicely on the flat with three smart paces. Has a great work ethic and is one of those horses who always tries his best to please. Enjoys his jumping and has plenty of scope. Very careful and will always do his best not to touch the fence, no matter what stride he is on (he’s happy to take a miss!). He has never had more than a single pole in a SJ round. Ridden by a lightweight girl in a snaffle for all phases. 

Won virtually every unaffiliated competition he was entered in over the winter including: - Multiple wins Arena Eventing at both 90cm and 100cm, qualifying for the British Eventing championships in both classes.

- Won the Heythrop intermediate team chase

- Wins at unaffiliated dressage and combined training

This season he has been out eventing, jumping double clear at BE90, BE100 and 100cm Cotswold cup qualifiers. Consistently produces a sub/low 30s dressage for top 10 placings. Pedigree includes Clinton, Caretino and Thunder van de zuuthoeve. Purchased directly from his local breeder as a 2-year-old, he has been professionally and carefully produced with his long-term future firmly in mind. Backed as a 4-year-old and then turned away while other competition horses took priority, he has been allowed the time to grow, strengthen and mature correctly. As a result, he is relatively low mileage for his age, but is now ready to crack on with his competitive career.
