Big Boy II (aka Boysie). Irish Sports Horse - 15.1hh - 12 year old Bay Gelding.

My daughter started riding him when she was 12. Took a year getting to know each other with unaffiliated shows etc, then his main focus has been British Eventing and starting only last year (2023) at BE80, he has this year, competed at BE100, completing his first 100 with a double clear. A real Badminton/ Bramham grassroots contender but still learning on the job.

Coming from a mainly SJ background, in the last 3 years he has evented, showjumped, been to (unaffiliated) dressage competitions (PB of 23.7%, normally low 30), competed in BRC clinics, champs, teams and individual classes, PC rallies and camps settling really well at any stay away shows. He excels at Arena Eventing, has been to the beach, on the gallops and loves pleasure rides.

Brilliant to hack alone and in company in all kinds of traffic. Also perfect with cantering around woods or in an open field. Doesnt buck, bolt, nap or have any vices. A dream to lunge and has impeccable manners in and out of the stable. Never seen ears back and always greets with a whinny.

Perfect for the farrier, dentist & physio (all of which are up to date), loading & travelling (lorry or trailer), to catch & lead off.

A real people horse and gentleman who will give you his all once he knows you so a confident rider willing to take the lead and hold his hand occasionally, would excel with him.

Easy to do and a real pleasure to ride. Very well schooled and ready to just jump on and go out training and competing straight away.

Never mareish, lives with mares and geldings. She’s happiest living out 24/7 but would come in at night with daily turnout and exercise.

Alfie is a through and through all rounder. He’s taken part in everything and anything. Eventing, showjumping, dressage, eventers challengers, hunter trials, hunting and loves anything he’s asked of him like a big Labrador!

Alfie is a real friendly face on the yard and so easy to manage. Will live in or out, turned out with others or individually. And super polite on the ground and to deal with in all ways.

He has done a few Cotswold cup 90 events successfully. Loves his xc and never had a xc fault, always looking for the flags. He’s also very honest and goes off a miss super forgiving. He would make the most class full season hunter for someone also.

Alfie however Is not for a total novice as he is a forward thinking horse, he doesn’t have any malice to him at all but needs a competent rider to get the best out of him. But he is happy with a confident teenager who wants to have fun!

Her grandmother jumped to 1.20/Foxhunter level and mother was training at Medium level BD as a 6yo before picking up an injury. The Sire side needs no introduction, with Negro siring the multi medal winning and Olympian Valegro.

Perfect grassroots horse -
A real pocket rocket 15.1hh Bay mare, 7 years old (8 in March 25). TB, ROR eligible. Never mareish.

Lovely balanced paces. Working well in the school, started lateral work. Very used to doing pole work and grids. Won and placed prelim dressage with previous owner. Paces and attitude mean she could easily do BD, but loves to jump.

Super easy to a fence, very clever with her feet and will get you out of trouble without holding a grudge. Consistently jumping 90cm, lots of scope for more, could do BE Novice. Brave and bold to a fence, no probs with water, ditches and locks on to skinnies. Has competed ODE’s, arena eventing and show jumping with previous owner. Has recently been on arena hire, XC and SJ. Behaved impeccably.

Super easy to take out, loads, stands on or off lorry patiently. Easy to do. 100% with farrier, clip etc. Not spooky or silly.

Good to hack in company, lacks confidence alone, but this would come with time I think. More suited to life in a busy yard. She does like to be tucked up in stable when weather is rubbish! But has lived out 24/7 in the summer months.

Full history from foal known. Up to date with dentist, jabs, physio etc.

Des is a smart, elegant horse with a lovely outlook on life. He has seen the world and is ready to go and do a job with someone. Although he is big, he has been ridden by a 5’2 girl so could be suited to any rider. He comes from excellent bloodlines, his stallion is the much sought after Upsilon and his dam was a 3* eventer.

This season he completed two ‘Go BE’s at 100 level and was double clear both times. He loves to jump and is straightforward with all fillers and when going cross country. He will go off any stride and always with a smile on his face!

On the flat Des is rhythmical and flashy, he has a big floaty trot and could easily turn his hoof to BD! He works in an easy outline and is snaffle mouthed.

Des loves to hack, is bombproof in all kind of traffic or will go off with the dogs in the woods. He will go alone or in company, first or last.

Belle. A talented, polite, unmareish mare. As a horse I can’t fault Belle. She is a pleasure on the ground, will stand all day to be fussed, groomed and loved. Her ability to learn is incredible. She picks up things strait away. And you NEVER have to tell her something twice.

Belle hacks alone and in company, happily walks/trots/canters out without pulling in anyway. If they’re is anything she is unsure of a pat down the neck and good girl and she always marches on.

To jump, Belle jumps all fillers, never says no, jumps of any stride and is so much fun!

Belles first experience of XC was actually at an event. Strait over the ditch, down the step and in the water. Good with all the skinny’s and so keen to please me.

As much as Belle is the complete dream horse she is still green and is a very forward ride and can be a little spooky therefore she’s not for a novice.

Georgie Boy Beautifully put together and extremely talented young horse, who has such an amazing loveable temperament.

Beautifully balanced paces and an easy manoeuvrable horse to ride. He is a riding nicely on the flat without being sharp or silly.

He has had a nice easy life, to date, and hasn’t been rushed or over used. He has started his competition career off and has been to a few shows jumping up to 1M, always behaving impeccably and finding everything effortless and easy. He has been brilliant in open spaces and cantering along with other horses.

Competed at 1m but has schooled over some bigger tracks in training with plenty of scope and talent to easily progress up the levels in the future. Certainly has enough talent and a fabulous work ethic for higher level eventing / Show jumping.

He loves all aspects of life to include hacking, beach rides, training and competing. He goes straight over the spookiest of fillers, water jumps, ditches and skinnies and has such a lovely can do attitude towards everything asked of him.

Always first to come over to see me in the field and brilliant to deal with on the ground. He loves human attention and being made a fuss of. Genuine and loveable and a firm yard favourite, who is the sort that is extremely hard to find. I will be sad to see him go, as I have really enjoyed working with him.
