DESPERATLEY SEEKING - Looking for a genuine all-rounder event horse for a loving family home. A horse that will do BE, pony club, hacking, beach rides, and just generally having fun. Must have been out to competitions and a record would be nice.

Must be level headed nothing sharp/spooky. Needs to hack alone and in company. must be happy to be the lead horse as we already have a nervous hacker. Must be traffic proof.

Horses live at home with lots of turn out and stabling. With a varied life style.

Would be a forever home with a teenage girl and mother to enjoy just doing a bit of everything. We have a good support network with instructors.

Ideally:

- 15.3 - 16.3hh

- 7 -12 years old

- Competing BE 90/100 and potentially novice in time.

- No quirks (No bucking, rearing etc)

- No vices

- Must be easy in all ways

He is a tall horse but is an absolute gentleman on the ground and to work with.

Buddy is a very talented ISH (out of a French mare) who has been produced slowly and carefully over the last few years. He flew around his first two Novices at Aston le walls in 2024 and looked set for the top in Eventing, with great bloodlines and the talent to match.

He didn't compete in 2025 while his owner was pregnant and had a baby (the same as the other horses on the yard), and this season has come out very spooky going between fields xc. He led the Dressage and show-jumping at his last event, and is very well established in those two phases. Buddy is brave and careful show-jumping, and gives the rider a great feeling. He also has loved his xc in the past, and is a rare combination of brave, clever and quick thinking - not afraid of water or ditches - so I do believe he could return to eventing with some more time and practise. He is now offered at a fraction of his previous value either as a show-jumper, which we are sure he will excel at, or as an eventer for someone who is happy to take him out to lots of schooling venues and rebuild his xc enthusiasm.

This is a sad sale of a much loved horse, who I enjoy riding every day and is a great character to have around.
