Donald is a very well bred, 4yr old, 15.3hh dark bay Thoroughbred gelding by Mayson. (Invincible Spirit and Pivotal)
Mayson’s prodigy take on his excellent, trainable temperament and athletic jump.
Donald has super conformation, and well balanced uphill paces. He would definitely turn heads in the show ring.
He is a compact horse and his well balanced natural canter is easy to collect, which makes him suitable for a competent teen or petite adult.
On the flat Donald has a good mouth, and is working in a correct outline and has started lateral work. He has a trainable temperament, and when popping fences shows a careful, scopey technique.
Donald is also safe in open spaces, and polite to ride in the field, starting to jump small logs and steps. He feels naturally brave and sensible.
He hacks out alone and in company and is good in traffic.
Donald would suit a home used to Thoroughbreds or young horses to continue his ridden education.
Up to date with dentist, vacs, worming and has front shoes on. He travels on a 3.5 or a 7.5 horsebox.
On the yard, and is handled by my 10 yr old daughter and is very gentle, he enjoys his cuddles!
I’ve had him for 4-5 months and have enjoyed training him and giving him a varied start to his non racing life. He trained to race previously but never competed so is eligible for ROR. He feels like he will make a very smart show horse, all rounder or event horse in the future.
No vices, open to vet, trainers etc can deliver, or help with future training
