Louis is a compact 16.2hh, 10-year-old bay Warmblood gelding by Carreras VDL, with a wealth of experience and a genuinely kind, easy-going nature.

Having successfully competed up to novice level in eventing and show jumped up to fox, Louis is a talented and established competition horse. He is currently competing at BE90 level, where he has happily stepped down to allow a teenager to gain confidence and experience.

One of Louis’s greatest qualities is his calm non spooky attitude to everything. He is straightforward, genuine, and adaptable enough to be enjoyed by a wide range of riders, from novices looking for a safe and capable partner to professionals wanting a quality horse to progress through the levels. He is forgiving, willing, and aims to please.

Louis would excel in a competitive home but is equally happy being a reliable all-rounder. He has the scope, experience, and temperament to continue producing results while remaining an enjoyable ride every day.

Sadly offered for sale as he is proving too much horse for his current teenage rider to keep fully together and make the most of his ability. Passed 5 stage vetting just over a year ago.

Nero is an 8 year old gelding by Hernandez TN (Kannan) out of a Cardento dam, who has been slowly produced with his future in mind. He has three lovely, balanced paces and natural scope to go up the levels - easily training at 1.10m SJ.

Attractive on the flat and always scoring well, lots of sub 30s at 100 level and also sub 30 at novice. Nice and even in the contact, whilst being good off the leg makes him an easy ride on the flat.

Naturally is careful and has a good technique, was a little spooky as a young horse and it’s reflected in his sj record but come out this year much more mature and jumping nice rounds at Novice level. Will take a miss

Has grown into a great ride xc, doesn’t pull and polite to a fence. Very nippy and straight, super fun to ride round

Extremely easy to handle at home and events, lives in or out at night and very amenable to do. Hacked out and handled by his owner, who’s in his 70s.
