Maggie

16.3hh 6-Year-Old Bay Mare – Diamond Lux × Clover Flush ??

A gorgeous model and a very athletic young mare with all the attributes to become a top-quality show-jumper or eventer. Standing 16.3hh, this rising 6-year-old bay mare by the respected Diamond Lux out of a Clover Flush mare combines blood, bravery, and quality in one impressive package.

Naturally uphill with a forward, rhythmic way of going, with 3 correct active paces. Balanced, rideable, and showing real promise in her flatwork with plenty more to come.

Incredible care and scope over a fence—intelligent, adjustable and tidy, with that effortless athletic technique so typical of her breeding. She is jumping DCs at Newcomers/ 1.15, schooling short courses at 1.30, and Eventing bravely round 100 Events. She will be a contender for 6 yr old classes BS and BE, as I expect she will be going 2* by mid season, and she’s already showing us a big fence is no great shakes!

As brave as a lion and straight as a die cross country. Bold into water, over ditches, and across anything you point her at. She loves her job and takes everything in her stride- just searching for the next challenge!

A wonderfully genuine young horse with all the raw material to excel in jumping, eventing, or any competitive sphere.

Ready to continue her education with a confident, active rider.

Pico – Outstanding in brain and competitive ability!

Compact 16.2hh | 5yo (2020) | French AQPS Gelding | By Tiger Groom

Pico is an exceptionally elegant and well put-together young horse, combining some of the very best Thoroughbred blood with a touch of Selle Français for added quality, scope and rideability.

He boasts three incredible paces – active, balanced and naturally uphill. Light in the mouth and a joy to ride, he is already working incredibly well on the flat with basic lateral work established and has all the presence and quality to be a dressage judge’s dream- with an exceptional hindleg.

A natural jumper, Pico has taken to his showjumping education with ease. He is careful, quick-thinking and very athletic, showing all the attributes needed to make a serious event horse. He would suit a competitive lady or teenage rider wanting a quality young horse with genuine upper-level potential, not just a competitive Grassroots campaigner. He has been out eventing at 100 level this season, and is ready to affiliate and be ultra competitive.

Pico is a very natural cross country star, showing his nimble and light footed ease to navigate anything! He will be a dream to get out eventing and progress through the grades! His first training event he ended up jumping the mid section of the BE Novice track to challenge him as he was finding the 100 a walk in the park. He will catch himself up quickly, competitively speaking, this year and be competitive in 6 yr old classes- and could be a very competitive horse in the Cornbury Thoroughbred incentive.

On the ground, Pico is an absolute pleasure. He is gentle, kind and straightforward, and is easy to handle in every way – happy to hack, shoe, box and clip.

A beautiful young horse with talent, temperament and the breeding to go all the way. A very exciting prospect for the future!

Recent full set of good X-rays, very well put together and open to any vet.

5 yrs 16.1h ISH gelding by RID Carrabawn View x Grey Macha stallion on an ARS Vivendi dam.

In his recent competition education with us he is jumping boldly round BS British Novice/ Disc classes, and has already jumped well round a 90 event, he has SO much more to give with a reasonably experienced pilot to continue with his exciting start!

Great to hack and handle, and has 3 fantastic powerful paces which will earn him superb marks in the dressage phase. He has been hunting a few times showing to have exceptional manners, and jumped everything in front of him confidently.

He could equally well go down the jumping route or continue his eventing education.

For sure to be a great contender for an U18/21 with more mileage, and a flashy allround competitor for a keen amateur.

Spectacular Novice/2* schoolmaster with potential for 3/4* future

Khan - Spectacular event horse who would be equally well suited to an amateur wanting a Novice/2* superstar schoolmaster as to someone wanting to progress through 3 and 4*.

Flashest of dressage horses, regularly leading from the front with dressage marks as low as 22. Khan has been winning at Medium level dressage this winter, thus lining him up to be a great Championship horse for a keen U18/U21, or Asian Games type buyers.

He matured into his tall body last year, and finds Novice eventing tracks a walk in the park. Though I had a season riddled with injuries, so he only did few BE competitions, and was very competitive in those few runs- starting the season on a 28 DC at Burnham Market, stepping up to Intermediate competitively, and finishing with a 2nd at Tetworth IN. He will be ready to be competitive at 3* this year, for someone wanting to progress, and my plan with him would be to aim at Blenheim 8/9 yr olds.

Khan is out and out one of the best xc horses I’ve had the pleasure of riding! He was ready to go Advanced xc as a 6 yr old- he’s always been one to seek out a skinny and stay on a line. I’ve had him since a raw 4 year old, and I don’t think he’s ever stopped at a fence in the entire 5 years I’ve had him!

Khan has jumped double clears up to BS Foxhunters level, though mostly on a ticket, so is still eligible for the lower classes. He has an incredible forearm which will always get you out of trouble, and a very easy way about his scope- smooth and effortless, so doesn’t throw you in the air like some! He makes 1.39/1.40 fences seem inconsequential!

Khan is simply the kindest big horse you could dream of. He is regularly schooled by my 5’3 teenage groom, and would never dream of being strong or pushing you about. Snaffle mouth in all 3 phases.

He is the most pleasurable of horses to have in every way- always looking for affection and great to hack, handle and travel.

Khan will only go to a very special home who will appreciate his outstanding nature- whether that be to a pro or a competitive amateur, he is everybody’s favourite horse!

Good set of X-rays as 6 yr old, and open to vet. Sound and ready to start his season.
